ADF Multiple error custom

Hi All,
I have created a simple form with 5 inputs and each input contain a validation (lenght, format, mandatory, etc), when I click on the submit button and get the errors, I see a popup with all errors, and when I click on one of the fields I get the error description with 2 arrows in the bottom (one to get the previous error and the another one the get the next error).
Is there any way to get all errors at the same time on the form instead of one to one? I would like to have the error pop up on each one of the fields instead of on the focused one. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Leandro.

Hi,
you can associate an af:message with each form field so the error shows next to it. You then set the af:messages property "inline" to "true" so the popup is not shown. Alternatively you can set the globalOnly property on af:messages to true to not show detailed field messages

  • While creating Projects Using the API, get two errors: 'Customer name must be passed' and 'class category is invalid'

    Hi
While trying to Create Projects using the API, I'm getting two types of errors -
The first is : 'API failed in one stage 1 Customer Name is a mandatory Quick Entry field. Value must be passed'
    The second is : '
'API failed in one stage 1 Project: '<Project_Number>'
    The class category is invalid.'
Both the messages are produced by our custom program. .. however I am not able to understand why the underlying errors occur.
The first error ( Customer Name is a mandatory quick entry field), is caused by Projects that are to be created from Project templates where it is configured with Quick Entry Customer Name required. We are passing Customer Site number ( Party Bill to site number and Party Ship to side number). The site numbers being passed are also set as 'Primary'. Yet they are failing.
For the second Error ( The Class Category is invalid), I rechecked multiple times, the Class categories for the Projects I am trying to create, with the Config in R12 and they are fine. Can't understand the reason for these two issues. Has anyone encountered such an issue ? If so how was it resolved?
    Regards
    Vivek

    HI All
I resolved both the issues. In case there are others facing similar issues, following was the cause and resolution of my errors
    1. Error 1: Customer Name is a Mandatory Quick Entry field. Value must be passed.
The cause was that the data loaded into our custom staging table was not in the right fields. This was because the data file values and the CTL were not in sync.
    Resolution:
Corrected the data file to be in Sync with the structure defined in the CTL and  this loaded it successfully
    2. Error 2: The class category is invalid.
The cause of this error was that  in the  Projects Template (used to create the project from), the Quick Entry setup had a Class Category set as required and I was not passing a value ( a class code value) for that Class Category.
    Hope this helps somebody else

  • Assigning multiple FI Customer accounts to the same BP

We have a requirement to assign multiple FI customer accounts to the
same Business Partner in ECC 5.0.
When we try to do this, we get the error message:
Business partner &&& is already assigned to FI customer &&&
    Message no. FLBP124
Is this possible, or is this a system limitation?
    Many thanks
    Tom

    Hi,
Check the "Automatic creation of Business Partner in FSCM" message. You have to create BP to synchro with customer and customer to BP.
To synchro personal data, you have to run MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT program.

  • BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE does not return multiple errors

    Hi,
We are using BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULTE, but it does not return multiple errors in the MESSAGETABLE even if all the materials entered in the ITEMS_IN table are wrong or have some ATP issues. It returns the first material that has problem and doesnot find errors with the remaining.
Can anyone tell why this is happeining. Is there a setting in customizing to get the BAPI to return all possible errors.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Pulin
This is a typical behaviour of BAPI. Due to the fact that they validate all incoming data very scrupulous they stop processing at the very first error.
I would assume that a "SIMULATE" BAPI should show all errors (because that's why we simulate, isn't it?) but apparently this is not the case.

  • Multiple Error Handling mails Issue

    Hello,
I have created one SSIS Package, And i have added "Send Mail Task" In Event Handler on Error Event of the package.
Whenever i execute this package it will send multiple mails for single error.
Could you please help me to resolve this issue to send a single mail.

    Hi Vinay,
I am able to reproduce the issue in my test environment. It indeed sends a single email for each error. I have tested the method described in the blog (http://agilebi.com/jwelch/2007/05/05/handling-multiple-errors-in-ssis/),
however, it still send multiple emails even if the Send Mail Task is placed in the OnPostExecute event handler of the package. If you would like, you can give it a try to see if it works in your package.
As a workaround, you can send the content in the error log instead of the System variable ErrorDescription. Furthermore, we can also implement custom logging to get the System::ErrorDescription value, then we can send the content of the custom logging.
Since the Send Mail Task cannot send the logging of the current package because the logging is being written. So, we can create another package which contains the Execute Package Task to call the existing package, in the parent package we can add a Send
Mail Task under the Execute Package Task, and set the Precedence Constraint between them to Failure.
For more information about Custom Logging Using Event Handlers, please see:
    http://consultingblogs.emc.com/jamiethomson/archive/2005/06/11/SSIS_3A00_-Custom-Logging-Using-Event-Handlers.aspx
    Hope this helps.

  • FI Archiving - System error: Customer/vendor line item not on OI basis

While archiving FI Documetns using object FI_Documnt, I am getting message System error: Customer/vendor line item not on OI basis for few non archivable documents. Is it like these also open items and can not be able to archive them. Or what is the root cause of these error message.
    Regards,
    Shailesh

    Hi Adisha,
This error pertains to the accounting fundamentals and SAP does not have anything to do with this....you ask yourself that if you were not using SAP and simlar problem came your way what would you have done...this has no solution...
Either you wait for the next invoice with big amount but which seems bit impractical..
In this we really need to consult the Accounting Standards to see what it could allow.

  • How to raise multiple error messages at a time in a BADI

    Hi all,
I'm using CHECK method of BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST for some validation in ME21N/ME22N. I want to raise multiple error message at a time, when user clicks on Check button or Save button. Please let me know, is there any function module for this or is there any particular procedure for this?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Siva Sankar.

    Hi,
Raising messages from within BAdis is not a good choice and from the look of it , it appears to be causing a dump.
Look if the BAdi interface has any exceptions defined for the method, if so, raise the exception with your message like:
MESSAGE e002(sy) WITH 'Error' RAISING <badi_exception>.
Otherwise call the FM POPUP_TO_CONFIRM To show msgs to user

  • Getting multiple error while refreshing or scheduling WebI report

    Hi BO Admin Experts ,
Feacing  multiple errors  while refreshing or scheduling webi reports in BI4.0 CMC ,
Please find the below errors :
    1)report schedule status failed
    2)Parameters : xxxcorp-franklinee; ATOu supply unv
Error Message : An internal error occured while calling 'ProcessDPcmndsEx' API (Error:ERR_WIS_30270)
    3 ) Format : WebI

Error Message :CORBA error while communicating with the SL service
Could you please help me on the abive 3 issues for the WebI schedule reports
    Cheers ,
    Pradeep Gorpadu

    Hi,
While refreshing the WEBI Reports would recommend you check the WEBI PROCESSING Server's last changed date from CMC--> Servers.
Check when you are refreshing the reports, do you see the time stamp changed of WEBI PROCESSING servers?
Do you keep getting this error messages for all WEBI reports? Can you re-produce this with simple e-fashion reports as well?
After that go to the node where WEBI PROCESSING servers installed and check on the event viewer details if you see any relevant error messages.

  • Multiple Error message at Item Level....

    Hi all,
I have some doubt into display multiple error message from item level.
The scenario is, I have to run some validation at each line item. If validation fails error message is population. Now suppose user ignore the error message or with that error user creating new line item and again because of validation some error occurs, then both error message should display all together but system is displaying only last message not previous one. This is happening with both the classes CL_BSP_WD_MESSAGE_SERVICE' and CL_CRM_GENIL_GLOBAL_MESS_CONT.
But if I check same thing with standard validation all error message display all together.
Any suggestion through which I can combined all message and display together.
    Thanks
    Gaurav

Yes.I have tried ADD_MESSAGE method of the CL_BSP_WD_MESSAGE_SERVICE class.
    Thanks

  • ADF Mobile Error handling and redirect

I'm stuck on how to handle errors within my ADF Mobile application. My application consumes a number of web services and we have found we often get error messages when phone connections switch from wifi to 3g or lose connection altogether. These are errors such as SSL handshake failure, HTTP500 errors, and also errors where it can't display the binding eh "Unable to get value for the property due to invalid binding iterator" because a WS call has failed. From the little information I can find - and none of it specific to ADF Mobile, I think I need to write an error handler class which I set against ErrorHandlerClass in databinding.cpx - if that correct? Am I able to catch these errors using that method and if so has anyone got any examples at all. Ideally what I'd like to do when I've caught those errors is redirect to another page (showing something like facebooks app does when it loses a connection and says tap to try again), does anyone have any suggestions or examples?
    thanks

    Lines like this:
Failed to get IWbemService Ptr for \\localhost\root\Microsoft\appvirt\client
simply means that for that particular client, that wmi namespace does not exist.  I suspect that namespace does not exist on that particular client because for the specific client, it does not have the APPv client.
or like this: Failed to get IWbemService Ptr for \\localhost\root\vm\VirtualServer    means that for that particular client, it does not have Microsoft VirtualServer installed (which you MIGHT have on a server, maybe).
anything like that can be easily ignored and explained.  the only reason to care about those would be if you absolutely 100% KNOW that the namespace root\vm\virtualserver does exist on that client, and it does have instances, and then you are wondering
why it's not reporting.  then maybe you would be concerned.  Otherwise, your log file looks perfectly fine.
So; what problem are you trying to solve?

  • Handling Multiple Error Messages through EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 for ME28

    Dear Team,
After Executing ME28, system will give List of PO's that are to be Released . User will select Multiple  PO's and
Press Release button in Application toolbar. once it is relased, User will press save Icon for all released PO's.
Once Save icon is presed, I need to  do  Validation for Multiple PO's in the user Exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 and capture my
ErrorMessages for all Released PO's for which Validation fails.
Here in the given user Exit, one PO will be processed at a time as PO is defined as Import Parameter but it will handle all PO's
and give the output in status bar saying 'Relased Saved' for all PO's which succesfully gonethrough.
once we execute ME28, system is showing list output with PO's to be Released(As system is handling with Write statments). In this case, we dont have scenario of PBO and PAI Modules( where user can correct error if any validation fails) like we have for ME22,etc.
I have Written simpel Error Message in the  User Exit.
once i tried to trigger my user exit  by Releasing and Saving with One PO, Error Message is displayed ( as information Message
appears) and if i Press Exit button in Error Message, it is coming out of Transaction.
Is there any Possibilty to Handle Multiple Error Messages ( in my case for  Valdiation Failed Po's)  in ME28 ,after Releasing and Saving , and also user should not come out of Transaction once  Error Messages are Displayed.
    Thanks and Regards
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
there is a tekpo table to handle all po items. you can put it in loop and do validations.
if any errors through, there may be a ex_messages table of type bapiret2.
    or
try like this:  MESSAGE E368(00) WITH TEXT-001 TEXT-002.
    thanks
