BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE does not return multiple errors

Hi,
  We are using BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULTE, but it does not return multiple errors in the MESSAGETABLE even if all the materials entered in the ITEMS_IN table are wrong or have some ATP issues. It returns the first material that has problem and doesnot find errors with the remaining.
Can anyone tell why this is happeining. Is there a setting in customizing to get the BAPI to return all possible errors.
Thanks in advance

Hello Pulin
This is a typical behaviour of BAPI. Due to the fact that they validate all incoming data very scrupulous they stop processing at the very first error.
I would assume that a "SIMULATE" BAPI should show all errors (because that's why we simulate, isn't it?) but apparently this is not the case.

  • Parse error does not return ORA error

    I had a query for a chart that would not parse and did not return an ORA- error to help me find the problem. After some trial and error I was able to identify the source of the error. I was passing a string to the TRUNC function and not a date. I would expect to receive and ORA-1722 with the parse error message but did not. This looks like a small bug to me. If not can someone explain why I would not get an ORA error with this?
    test case:
    select null link,
    8 lbl,
    trunc(:P1_DATE,'MONTH') val
    from dual;
    select null link,
    8 lbl,
    trunc(to_date(:P1_DATE,'DD-MM-YYYY'),'MONTH') val
    from dual;

    What version of HTML DB? 1.5, but I just upgraded to 1.6, have not tested there yet.
    What kind of chart (SVG or HTML and which one)?SVG bar chart
    Where did the error occur (on the edit page or at runtime)? Edit page.
    What is the exact error you saw? Unable to parse query (OK maybe this is not exact but it defintly did not display and ORA error).
    Shouldn't the "val" value be numeric?That was just an example, a bad example aparently.

  • FM RSDRC_INFOPROV_READ - Does not give an error neither returns results !!!

    Hi,
        Our BI system has been upgraded from 3.0 to 7.0 recently. There was a dump in one of the function modules - RSDPL_CUBE_DATA_READ . it was giving an Inherited error exception...
       I tried the newer FM RSDRC_INFOPROV_READ in place of that. it works for a particular cube and returns the data alright but for another one it does not return anything in the return table and the sy-subrc is also 0 !!.. there is data in the cube(available for reporting) which satisifies the input restrictions/conditions I have mentioned, so I should ideally see the cube data... No messages can be seen in the message table used inside the function module as well.. Anyone faced such a problem before ???
        Only point to make here is that there are several requests in the cube (in green though) whereas another cube which worked had only one. Shouldn't make a difference really right ?
    Any comments will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Raj

    Hi,
    I faced a similar issue a while back. That was due to a inconsistency of the entries in tables i_th_sfc and i_th_sfc, so the fields to be read and returned and the structure of e_t_data. I could fix it with having the same fields and fieldnames here and there.

  • R1: tcAPIException: Duplicate schedule item for a task that does not allow multiples.

    Hi,
    I'm struggling with the following task:
    I have to assure an account exists for a given resource. I do provision it with the .tcUserOperationsIntf.provisionObject().
    I've created a createUser task to create the account.
    The task code checks if there is already matching account.
    If no account exists, is is created in the disabled state, and the object state of OIM account is set to 'Disabled' by means of task return code mapping.
    If it exists, it is 'linked' to OIM account.
    The problem is if the existing account is enabled, I have to change the OIM account state to 'Enabled' either.
    To implement this (thanks, Kevin Pinski https://forums.oracle.com/thread/2564011 )) I've created an additional task 'Switch Enable' which is triggered by a special task return code. This task always succeeds, and its only side effect is switching the object status to 'Enabled'.
    By I've getting the 'Duplicate schedule item for a task that does not allow multiples' exception constantly:

  • Aria2 does not download multiple files at a time

    I'm trying to speed up my system upgrades by using aria2, but it won't speed up anything as it does not download multiple files at a time.
    As per this wiki post, https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Im … erformance , "using aria2", I've installed aria2 and added the line
    XferCommand = /usr/bin/aria2c --allow-overwrite=true -c --file-allocation=none --log-level=error \
    -m2 --max-connection-per-server=2 --max-file-not-found=5 --min-split-size=5M --no-conf \
    --remote-time=true --summary-interval=60 -t5 -d / -o %o %u
    to the options section in pacman.conf. Pacman still works, but it isn't sped up. When pacman -Syu'ing, a normal line shows:
    #1 SIZE:1.3MiB/2.0MiB(63%) CN:1 SPD:50.0KiBs ETA:15s
    What's going on?
    P.S. I use the line reflector -l 5 --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist before doing a system upgrade.
    Last edited by bruno321 (2011-05-15 15:27:45)

    Using aria2c will download files over 5MB with multiple connections but will not download multiple files at the same time. Pacman calls aria2c with the first url, waits for it to finish, then calls aria2c with the second etc...
    If you want to download multiple packages simultaneously, see http://xyne.archlinux.ca/projects/pacman2aria2/

    Hi,
    All the yellow and red lights will have an effect on query performance or execution.  Read up on them as there are too many to explain via this forum.
    There is a document on SDN on query performance.  Some useful links:

  • TREX Search does not return Job Postings

    Hello:
    Recently our TREX engine stopped returning job postings. We ran RCF_CREATE_SP_FOR_CDCY_IN_JOB and did not stop the periodic services job.  Since then, the TREX engine has not been able to return any job postings.  We have tried everything under the sun but no luck in resolving this.  Has anyone encountered this issue?
    Cheers

    HI Areez
    There can be many reasons for this issue
    Please check all the troubleshooting steps in the following notes
    1300398
    817145
    One of the first things to try to narrow down cause is to do a test search in SKPR07, if the test search does not work,
    the error may be caused by  TREX
    RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES must be running periodically and successfully in SM37
    It may also be necessary to stop PERIODICAL_SERVICES and update the search profiles then restart PERIODICAL SERVICES
    Also worth checking TREX configuration as per note 1082004
    In some cases TREX may need to be re-indexed in order to find the job postings
    Best regards
    Stuart

  • Group Used as LOV does not return records

    Have:
    1. A header table called Claims
    2. A detail table called ClaimLines
    3. The Claims Table has a foreign key called emp_no which refers to an employee table ( Claims for an employee)
    4. The ClaimLines table has a foreign key called mem_id which refers to an employee family members table that also has emp_no as a foreign key (family members for an employee)
    5. A JHS group for Claims that shows the employee name and employee id. An LOV populates the employee name and employee id
    6. A details group fro CalimLines that shows family member name. An LOV populates the member name and member id. (The idea is to pull family members for the employee selected in the header section in 5 above.
    Problem:
    The calims LOV populates the employee name and employee id correctly.
    When I move to the calimlines (details), the members who should be restricted to the employee selected in the Claims group does not return any records.
    The LOV for the members is based on a VO called DependentsofEmpolyee that has a where clause emp_no=:p_emp_id (:p_emp_id is a bind parameter)
    The LOV group for the members has an EL expression in the Query Bind Parameters
    p_emp_id=#{bindings.ClaimsEmpId.inputValue}. The expression is to restrict the members to those who belong to the employee selected in the Claims section of the page.
    Debug gives the following information:
    -ViewObject DependentsOfEmployee1: bind parameter values have not changed, NO Requery performed.
    It seems that the p_emp_id is not being populated with the emp_id from the header section(Claims)
    The same EL expression works if applied to a dynamic LOV. The drawback of the dynamic LOV is that is only populates two fields, the value attribute and the meaning attribute. In our case we need to populate more than one attribute.

    Thanks for the input.
    I tried the following
    1. Create a managed bean in faces-config.xml.
    <managed-bean>
    <managed-bean-name>FamiliyLovContext</managed-bean-name>
    <managed-bean-class>FamiliyLovContext</managed-bean-class>
    <managed-bean-scope>session</managed-bean-scope>
    </managed-bean>
    2. Updated the skeleton class FamilyLovContext.java to:
    public class FamiliyLovContext {
    Number empId;
    public void setEmpId(Number empId) {
    this.empId = empId;
    public Number getEmpId() {
    return empId;
    3. Copied tableLovItem to tableLovItemFamily and added the following to the section
    <af:selectInputText
    <af:setActionListener from="#{bindings.ClaimsEmpId.inputValue}"
    to="#{FamilyLovContext.empId}"/>
    4. Used the the new template for the lov item in the claimlines group.
    5. set the query bind parameters of the lov group to #{FamilyLovContext.empId}
    I gor the following error

  • Fetching Form Data... does not return form's field list to edit

    I have a Portal Form based on a view. It works fine if I run it.
    Suddenly I am unable to edit the form field properties:
    1) In the application list, I do not get run option for the form.
    2) If I go to manage and edit, "Fetching Form Data..." does not return the list of fields, so I am unable to change field properties.
    3) I can still run the form.
    Please help, I need to fix this within hours.
    Thanks in advance.

    I think I know what causes the error. Whenever I use HTML tags inside the Display Options/label text box I get this error.
    I have tried <p align="right">xyz</p> and <h4 align="right">xyz</h4>. In both cases I can run the form the first time and the label appears right justified, but when you try to edit the form, bottom left shows "error on page" and field data does not show up.
    To fix this I had to go to the version before I added the HTML tags to the label.
    Thank you for your help.

    You need something like:

        EXCEPTION
          WHEN OTHERS THEN
          <exception handling/logging - whatever you want>
          RAISE;  --this with then raise an error back to the calling process
      END Promo_Version_Logo_Rule;This way the function either returns a value, or an exception which can be handled in the calling procedure

  • WriteDomain( dir ) does not throw an error!

    we are trying to automate our domain creation using wlst. If there is an error in the script we expect our program to throw an error such that we can take some preventive measures. That said, we have such script that loads a template and writes the domain to a directory. If for some reason writeDomain fails it does not throw an error!. Which lets our script continue and fail miserably later.

  • CQWP does not return result for a specific query when filtering on a managed metadata field.

    Hi,
    We are facing a serious production issue. We've search the web extensively but to no avail.
    Problem:
    CQWP does not return result for a specific query when filtering on a managed metadata field.
    ULS log:
    The Uls logs provides 3 different messages that I could relate to every time the query is executed. The last item(level Medium) is displayed 14 times. For readability I've moved the ULS logs to the bottom of this question.
    Query:
    The query is as follows:
    (I've translated this from dutch so pardon any typo's)
    Query: (top selection) Display items from all sites in the site collection
    ListType: Documentlibrary
    Contenttype:
    Items from this group:Custom Document Contenttypes
    Items from this content type: Verklaring
    Filter: Soort is equal to X
    extra info: the field soort (Type) is a managed metadata field that was assigned the value X
    Managed Metadata Structure:
    -managed metadata service
      -Contoso
        -Enterprise Taxonomy (term set)
          -Document (term)
            -Verklaring (term)
              -Soort (term)
                -x (term)
    EXTRA INFO:
    When I modify the filter to filter on Title the CQWP DOES return the correct document!
    When I modify the query settings to search a specific library the CWQP also does return the correct document! (In this case I am filtering on a managed metadata field).
    QUESTION:
    Why doesn't the CQWP return the document when filtering on a managed metadata field over the entire site collection.
    Why does the CQWP return the document when filtering on a managed metadata field over a single library.
    (The type of information the CQWP should return (Soort:x) is stored in a dozen document libraries!)
    Here are the ULS logs.

    Hi,
    while digging through the logging (again) I found some extra logging regarding the same correlation id (see details below).
    We have a fairly large term store (4000+ lines).
    If somebody has a clue or tip that would greatly appreciated!
