Adjustments in GL Balances.

Hi Experts,
My client was maintainig two systems one is SAP and other one is Legacy. Here the problem is client users using both systems and the legacy system data was maintained correctly. But in the SAP the users not entered data correctly or did wrong postings and some invoices also missed.
It was effected the trail balance or GL balances. The Legacy Balances are correct and in SAP balances is not matching with Legacy. I was taken the legacy trail balance and SAP trail balance from t.code
S_PL0_86000030 - G/L Account - Balances. (Version using ECC6.0)
Client doesnt want to dig deeply and wants to match both systems balances through adjustments for the Financial Year. (Apr'08-Mar'09). So here I am asking yours help how to adjust this balances without effecting in future transactions?
Thanks and Regards,
Raghav

Hi

  • Fine Adjust White Balance with Option Key

    Hello,
I find that I often want to make finer adjustments to white balance than is easy to do with the slider's scalesmall movements of the slider yield relatively large adjustments in the white balance. I would like to see a "magnifcation" of the scale when the option key is held down, so that the same amount of sliding would move the temperature in much finer increments. I realize that the option key is also used for resetting a panel, so perhaps another key, but this is the idea.
    Many thanks,
    Michael Morrison

By highlighting the temperature 'number', you can press the up and down arrow keys to adjust the temp in 50 degree increments. This functionality works in all the adjustments.

  • Question about stamping white balance

    Hello,
I'm a beginner in Aperture and have the following question for which I haven't found an answer yet.
Let me explain what I did and where the problem rose:
I have a set of photo's (400+, RAW), all taken at the same location under nearly same conditions (oldtimer rally, outside, sunny weather).
I've adjusted the first image by choosing:
    Exposure: 'auto'
    White balance: 'auto'
White balance was changed by Aperture in (in the Inspector): Temperature & Tint and for both a specific value.
I changed the second image the same way.
Again Aperture choose Temperature & Tint for white balance and specific, but other, values than for the first image.
    Fine sofar.
I lifted the adjustments of the second image:
    Adjustments:
White balance : Auto White Balance
    Exposure : Auto Exposure
Deselected everything but Adjustments for White balance and Exposure.
Selected image 3 until the last one and stamped them.
80% of the image's OK but for about 20% of the photo's, Aperture came up (in the Inspector) with "White balance: natural gray".
So I thought to be smart and changed one photo (White balance : natural gray) to Temperature & Tint.
    Photo adjusted: OK.
If I lift the adjustments of this photo, Aperture shows:
    Adjustments:
    White balance : Temperature (4851.60), Tint (10.68)
    Exposure : Auto Exposure
If I select this and use it to stamp all "White balance: natural gray" photo's, I have the problem that the 'stamp' also stamps the temperature and tint values where I want it, of course, to 'auto detect' these values as they are not the same for each photo for the best result.
    Any solution for this?
    Kind regards,
    emeu1

oh, well that tell me a lot, it blends in on the other iPhones and iwas thinking about switching for the firs time and getting an iPhone 5s silver since its dropped down. I guess in all actuality it doest matter much, I'm jet one of those users with ocd and detail analysis, making sure its always up to standards. but all in all, I'm thinking to spend more time at an apple store messing with the white iPhones
but it always helps to get a users opinion
    thanks

  • Always show the Adjustments "Straighten".

    Hi,
How do I set Aperture to defaultly show the "Straighten" (or "Noise Reduction" etc.) section on the Adjustment panel, so everytime I select a new image the "Straighten" is right there with all the basic adjustments (Exposure, White Balance etc.)?
    Many thanks,

  • Reset Balance ......

    Dear Guru,
I need to do Reset a balance to zero. like we do have balance Dimensions to store some values after every payroll run. if i need to reset that value zero how to do it.
    Thanks
    Archna

    Hi Archana,
You can use Balance Adjustments for this but at a time ..you can do for a sinle employee only. If this is for a set of employees..you can run a script. Suppose if balance is 3000 (amount)..enter -3000 and save in the balance adjustments window. Balances ae updated automatically. This is a seperate process and not linked to payroll. You can check the balances..you will find '0'. Even for no.of days also same procedure.

  • Group Level adjustments not required for consolidation report

    HI Experts,
    The requirement is as below:
    *Requirement 1:*
My client want to post some adjustment entries at Group level after consolidation, but he need a report With and without the consolidation entries.
I.E. one balance sheet and PNL with the group level adjustments and another balance sheet and PNL without Group level adjustments.
    Requirement: 2
Every period his manual entries are more than 240 and during year end it will go till 300.
As it is difficult to post these many entries manually, Client is asking for any upload functionality. Need some inputs on how to acheive this BCS.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Richard.

I agree with Eugene, you can't just create a user-defined posting level.  The available posting levels are pre-defined by SAP in the UC00 type pool.
    * posting level
      begin of uc00_cs_plevel,
    * cse posting level:
    *   input_direct   type uc_plevel value is initial,
input          type uc_plevel value '00',  "data input
input_corrctn  type uc_plevel value '01',  "correction of input
input_pcc      type uc_plevel value '02',  "PCC of input
    *   input_itchange type uc_plevel value '08',  "item change of input
        value_adj      type uc_plevel value '10',  "value adjustment
value_adj_pcc  type uc_plevel value '12',  "PCC of value adj
        pair           type uc_plevel value '20',  "elim.of pairs
        pair_pcc       type uc_plevel value '22',  "PCC of elim.of pairs
    *   pair_mst       type uc_plevel value '23',  "elim.of pairs mst.
    *   pair_mst_pcc   type uc_plevel value '24',  "PCC of elim/pairs mst.
        group          type uc_plevel value '30',  "elim.within group
      end of uc00_cs_plevel,
The virtual cube logic wouldn't know how to address a custom posting level without a number of core changes.

  • How to display Open Items (with current status as Cleared) for prior date?

    Hi all,
We have an existing Customer Balances report wherein we are able to veiw the Debit/Credit amount Of all the open items based on the input date given by the user but unable to view the items which have been cleared later for the items opened on the mentioned date.
However, in case of ECC, if the user enter a specific key date, he is able to view the Open & Cleared items for the mentioned date.
The user is expecting the same logic for the BW report.
E.g: If i run the report for date 30th Oct, 2010 and for Comp Code X; then the output should show all the Open items as of date 30th Oct, 2010 irrespective of the case that some of the items have been cleared later than the mentioned date.
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Sneha,
I think you are talking about the open item means opening balance as on date along with the sales or collections or adjustments and the Closing balance as on date right?
for this we had designed in modeling. our requirement is also similar one which shows the opening bal,, sales ,coll ,adjustments and closing balance. for a particular customer and company code entered in selection screen.
For this in order to get the open items
we had create a new cumulative key figure in which i had taken
    inflow : debit amount
    outflow: credit amount
you will get the closing balance.
For getting the opening bal we had a formula like
    opening bal+sale-Adj-coll = closing bal
now in order to cal opening bal=closing bal-salesadjcoll
in this way we acieved the requirement.
if you can give more details can help u on this.
i think you are using 0FI_AR_4 data source for your requirement right?

  • Reconciliation Report Clarification Needed

Their is a report named "Locate Reconciliation in Bank Statement by Row Number" Under: Banking -> External Reconciliation.
In Query-Selection Criteria -> Visual Order (What is this?) and how to add account number in the list. As I can only see couple of accounts. Please advice.

    Hi Paul,
Though we don’t have a crystal Report for what you are looking at but I think our add-on “Bank Reconciliation Inquiry” would be a helpful tool. The add-on has a screen with some fields like  GL Bank Account, Statement No,  Statement Date and lower half is bifurcated into two sections column wise which shows in Section 1
    <<Section 1- Values in Books>>
    GL Balance
    +Positive Adjustments
    Sub Total
    -Negative Adjustments
    Ending GL Balance
    In section 2
    <<Section 2 - Values in Bank statement>>
    Cleared With./Chks.
    Cleared Inc./Dpsts..
    Balance on Statement
    +Out Standing Deposits
    Sub Total
    -Out Standing Checks
    Ending Balance
Difference – The difference between GL Ending Balance and Bank Statement Ending Balance is shown.
Anyway, I think this already getting a bit too complicated to inform about the add-on over this forum but I think this add-on would satisfy the requirement which you have presently. If you have an interest and would like to know more, please contact us off forum for detailed feature list and white paper for the add-on. There are more features coming up than just the above defined ones like list of all cleared/un-cleared deposits/payments/Adjustment each on a tab with further drill down facility!

  • Bank Reconciliation Report  SAP B1 2005 or 2007 versions

    Any progress made here ?
Needs to have cashbook balance, list of unreconciled transactions and a bank statement balance. Can provide an example if needed.
Interesting the Banking section has been revamped in 2007 version without such a standard report.
Yes, there are work arounds, but something so standard should not need a work around.
Would be good to get a resloution here.
Thanks in advance for any help here.

    Hi Guys,

  • "Previous" button suggestion.

(Yes, I will post this in the 'official' suggestions form... just thought that I would mention it here also.)
Since we often work in studio, the photos tend to develop similarly, but not exactly the same. The photos tend to 'trend' in one direction, and then start changing in a different direction, with small changes of develop settings taking place from one photo to the next.
We could use the "Copy" and "paste" function from one photo to the next, but when working through photos, the "Previous" button is much more convenient. What "Previous" does is copy ALL of the develop settings from the previously selected photo to the currently selected photo... but it is an "all or nothing" situation.
The problem is that "Previous" copies thing like "Spot Removal", "Brush Tool", "Cropping", etc that are not necessarily items that you would want to carry over from one photo to the next, since they don't really match up between images.
It would be great if there was a way to setup the "Previous" button just like the "Copy" button, where only specific items are transferred from one photo to the next when pressing "Previous". Maybe pressing "CTRL-Previous" could bring up a setup menu?
It is a minor thing , but it would greatly simplify the workflow.

    GAP -
Using SYNC is waaay to much work when going from photo to photo. SYNC is good for base adjustments, like color balance, base sharpening, etc.
IMHO, SYNC is only really useful if you have to make a similar adjustment to many photos, based on a specific parameter. For example, if you want to apply additional noise reduction to all the photos shot at ISO 1600 with a specific camera, SYNC is the correct tool.
But when you have to fine tune many photos in a series, going to the next photo and pressing "Previous" to get you in the general ballpark is often the best choice, since if the photos are similar the adjustments will probably be similar, except for special stuff like brushes, spotting and cropping.
Adding a 'carry over' menu to "Previous" shouldn't be that hard, and it would certainly increase the usefulness of that function.

  • How can i change the colour of key words in long text fast ?

    Hi,
I have long text (for example script) which should be displayed in TextArea (or something similar) with colored keywords.
    I tried with TextRange
new TextRange (myTextArea, true, start_Index, stop_index)
    and with
    RichEditableText
    var highlightFormat:TextLayoutFormat = new TextLayoutFormat();
    highlightFormat.color = 0xFF0000;
    for each (var currentKeyword:String in keyWords) {
    myRichEditableText.setFormatOfRange(highlightFormat, indexOfKeyword, indexOfKeyword + currentKeyword.length);
Either ways are too slow, 30 sec....
The indexes of words which should be colored are computed below a second but creating an object for every keyword is too expensive .
Any Idea what should i do ?

There are a couple of things you can do. Check out the PS Touch tutorial, "Replace colors," as one example.
You can optionally use the other selection tools in lieu of the Magic Wand selection tool.
Also, you can use the Paint Tool's effects options in conjunction with any of the selection tools. Many common effects and adjustments (like "Color Balance" in the PS Touch tutorial) are available by tapping the Mode option and choosing, "Effect," rather than, "Paint."

  • Inventory Material Movement Report in R12.1.1

    Dear All,
I am currently working in a implementation project. My client needs a Inventory Material Movement Report on Periodical Basis
Report Should show : Item Name, Item Desc, Sub Inventory, UOM, Opening Stock of that period, Receipts for that Period, Adjustments and Closing Balance.
Please suggest me how to go about this on the same. Please someone share the code if someone have any. What logic do i need to follow and where to pick the data.
It is show stopper for us now as we do not have any standard report.
    Thanks,
    Addy

    Hi Aditya,
You can find all the information you need in mtl_material_transactions table. If you need code combination id too, you can make use of a standard view CST_INV_DISTRIBUTION_V. Other than these, you can join these tables for other info..
    MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B MTL,GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS GCC.
In MMT, use qty <, > 0 for receipts and issues. use group by to get opening and closing balances.
    Regards,
    Siva Kumar.
