Dear All,
In IT0001, there is a table for Administrator.
What is the use of it and where can we maintain it?

I couldn't find any radio button in PINCH, so couldn't read the documentation.
But I got an overall idea about this, but still
1. If any employee joins in between these 3 groups the administraor gets an auto generated mail.
In between 3 groups mean? All the people (employees) comes under these groups right?
2. we use this administrator to control the vacancy
You mean any authorization? Mean other people can't make any changes in it...
3. feature PINCH
This is for recruitment, what about for Time and Payroll?
4. Administrator can be maintained in T526.
For recruitment, we create it using the group APPL, what about for Time, Payroll & Personnel?

    What is the use of Administratore in IT0001.
    What I heard that 'we can mark the administartor for time, payroll etc. If anychanges made to the relavent infotype, the an automated mail will be delivered to the administrators inbox'. e.g if anyone made any changes in the employee salary, an automated mail will be send to the payroll administrator.
    Is it correct, if yes how it works?
    If no, what is the use and what all the configuration required?
    One more doubt: why the 'create personnel officer/administrator' node is under 'recruitment', can we find the same somewhere else also?

    question 1:  what you heard is correct.
    we can create three administrators
    Time administrator.
    Payroll administrator.
    Personnel  administrator.
    in infotype 0001 we will default the administrator group using feature PINCH
    question 2.
    to trigger mail  to the administrator we have to writer a dynamic action.
    if anybody changes the infotypes a mail will trigger to concern admin.
    one more doubt: why the 'create personnel officer/administrator' node is under 'recruitment', can we find the same somewhere else also?
    for the above question.....
    define administrator and crate personnel officer two nodes are same table t526 which stores the same the data.
    may be it is usefull in recruitement module.

    1. What is the difference between PCR and CAP?
    we generally use the PCR and CAP for ES groupings. ES grouping for PCR is required for payroll accounting. based on that grouping we usually perform operations in our PCRs.ES grouping for CAP is mostly used in indirect valuation of wagetypes (IT 0008).
    2. How do you run payroll?
    You shud release Payroll for every payroll area, then run payroll(start payroll) by referencing the country specific schema, if the Run is successful for all emplyees exit payroll otherwise you Release payroll for corrections, do necessary changes to master data,save the infotypes and once again Release payroll, followed by actual payroll run. Once it is successful you can exit Payroll for that period.
    you can find the rejected personnel numbers in Control Record(of that Payroll Area). Unless that Matchcode W is empty you cant exit payroll for that period.

    Payroll Area - you should group all employees for whom you run payroll on the same day and in the same frequency. you shud assign every employee to Payroll Area in IT0001.

    Control Record - you must create control record for every payroll area and it Controls individual stages of payroll (i.e rel payroll,rel.f.corrections,exit payroll,chk results). Also it determines exact date of payroll period as well as it defines earliest retroactive acctg date.
    7. What is meant by retroactive accounting?
    Date until which you can perform retro run. This date is mentioned in control record for every payroll area.
    8. How do you create customized ITs? What is the no. range for customer specific ITs?
    Number range - 9000 - 9999
    9. What are day types? How many day types exist? What are they? Where do you configure them?
    Day types = determines whether the day is a work day or the day is off and paid....we have 4 day types for this purpose - Day type Blank/0 = Work / Paid
                             Day type 1 = OFF / Paid
                             Day type 2 = OF F / unpaid
                              Day type 3 = OFF / Spl payment
    we configure the day types in   =  spro -time mgt - work schedules - day types
    We use these day types along with Holiday class to create selection rules(variants)

    it consists of specifications/conditions how the A/A are counted to determine payroll days/hours. usually for absence types we create counting rule with various conditions and finally attach it to that absence type.

    you may find various actions to be carried out for applicants like -intial data entry, additional data entry, reject applicant, put applicant on hold, process applicant, prepare to hire. you can use TCODE PB40 to get the list.

    we use the feature PINCH to default administrators in IT0001. we can assign personnel/time/payroll administrators from the group which we defaulted. u may goto PE03 - see PINCH - go inside the decision tree and can findout the group name attached.

    Applicant group is used to classify as per the type of employment. ex - freelancers, Trainees, employees with temporary contract so on.

    unsolicited applicant is one who doesnot refer to any job or job advt. They submit their profiles in the respective departments based on their experience. usually we consider them as unsolicited applicant group. The employer will consider their profiles in case of any future requirements.

    Payroll Area -already mentioned above.
    Payscale area - it is part of payscale structure which contains payscale type,payscale area,payscale group,payscale level. usually payscale type can be treated as the type of industry for ex:-chemical,mining and payscale area is treated as the location of this industry i.e more like physicla location of this chemical industry. We have to link this payscale type / area to our enterprise structure for giving default values for IT 0008 thru feature TARIF.

  • HR-PA-Changes IT0000 & IT0001

    I have to changed wrong maintain IT0000 & IT0001 far away from earliest retro active allowed in SAP.
    For Exampe :
    Earliest Retro is on January 2005
    Data in IT0001 as below:
    01/01/1980 - 12/31/1990 as Position A.
    Data should be changed as below:
    01/01/1980 - 12/31/1985 as Position A
    01/01/1986 - 12/31/1990 as Position B.
    I have tried using PA30 but error due to changes far away from Retro Active Date.
    Is there any posiblity to change incorrect maintained data above?

    Change the infotype attributes in table V_T582A
    Infotypes that are payroll relevant but not retroactive accounting relevant should be given the following keys:
      Entry in past 'E'
      Retroactive accounting payroll 'R'
    Note: Retrieve the standard settings once the changes are done

    i have got a diiferent problem, the hiring date of employee is in 01.03.2008 and organisation Assignment(IT0001) is from 01.02.2008.i dont know how user has done it. But now,need to change the IT0001 to 01.03.2008 or hiring date to 01.02.2008.
    is there any possible ways  to achieve?
    Note:payroll has been run for 01.03.2008--31.03.2008.

    Hello,
    I have a big  problem with Reporting Services 2005 working on Windows 2003 Server.
    RS work as Network service, on subdomain reporting.mydomain with SSL wildcard certificate *.mydomain,
    Anonymous access: disabled and basic authentication: enabled
    ReportManager and reportServer has defualt virtual folders  (/reporting, /reportserver)
    My problem is:
    1) I can't manage security roles and site settings with report maanger. when I try assign roles to new user or group I get followng error:
    "The user or group name 'BUILTIN\Administrators' is not recognized. (rsUnknownUserName) Get Online Help"
    when i try to execute reports in report manager, parameters controls are not displayed correctly (very simple text boxes) and I can see:
    The selected report is not ready for viewing. The report is still being rendered or a report snapshot is not available. (rsReportNotReady)
    and I can't see my report in browser (IE 6.0) but only export to PDF, Excel...
    other functionality are working  fine i.e upload new files, creatign folders....
    2) Also my reportserver virtual folder does not work correctly.
    When I navigate to mydomain/reportserver I can see content of this virtual folder, than when I navigate to ReportService.soap i can see normal ReportServer view

    I just wanted to know if you found a solution for part (1).  I just recently encountered the problem where:
    "when i try to execute reports in report manager, parameters controls are not displayed correctly (very simple text boxes) and I can see:
    The selected report is not ready for viewing. The report is still being rendered or a report snapshot is not available. (rsReportNotReady) "
    However all my reports are run from the most recent data.  The rsReportNotReady message appears in Report Manager but not the Report Server interface; the latter is able to render the reports.   But both have incorrectly displayed textbox inputs.

  • I would like to add administrators to my team, but the users are not receiving invitations, but the status is "Invitation Sent". How can I add Administrators?

    I am trying to add 2 administrators to my Adobe Team. I am the Administrator (primary)
    I followed the instructions.
    Click Administrators in the left navigation pane to open the Administrators tab.
    Click +Add more link located at the bottom of the table.
    Enter the email address and name of the person to invite as an administrator.
    Click Add Administrator.
    When this did not work I had the invitee create an Adobe ID.
    Both my invites did not receive an email for the invitation.
    Is there a work around?

  • What is the difference between using the command "dsmgmt" and the "Managed By" tab when adding users to the local administrators Account on a Read-Only Domain Controller?

    When I use the
    "dsmgmt" command to add a user to the local administrators account of a RODC I can actually see the user when I use the "Show Role Administrators" parameter. However, I can't see the members of the
    group added to the "Managed By" tab of the RODC object in AD. Even though, the users added using
    "dsmgmt" and by the "Managed By" tab can all log in locally and have admin rights to the RODC. Are there any differences between these two ways of adding users to the local administrators account?

    For groups, managedBy is an administrative convenience to designate “group admins”. Whatever principal listed in
    managedBy gets permission to update a group’s membership (the actual security is updated on the group’s AD object to allow this).
    In Win2008 and later managedBy also became the way you delegated local administration on an RODC, allowing branch admins to install patches, manage shares, etc. (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755310(WS.10).aspx). 
    On the RODC, this is updating the RepairAdmin registry value within RODCRoles.
    So the difference between them should be only the way they do the same thing.

  • I keep getting a pop up that request the Administrators name and password.  I never set this up so I can't bypass this.  How do I change or set up the administrators name and password.

    I have OS X version 10.9.5.   I have had this for a year or two.   How do I find my Administrators name and password?  I do not recall ever setting this up.  

    If you don't recall setting it up, try entering nothing into the passwordfield and just press return.
    If that worked, please go to " > System Preferences > Users & groups" and click the [change password]-button.
    If all that doesn't solve it, boot from the Recovery Partition and reset your password from there.
    Here’s how:
    1/ Make sure your computer is completely shut down.
    2/ You’ll have to be quick next: Press the Mac’s power button. As soon as you either hear the loud chime, or see the display light up - usually after a second or 2 - on your keyboard press [cmd] + [r] Keep these keys on your keyboard pressed until you either see an Apple Logo with a loading bar or a spinning gear.
    After a few minutes, you’ll be presented with a Utilities screen. This is the Recovery partition. If this step is already giving you problems, try using a USB-keyboard. It doesn’t have to be an Apple-keyboard. If you have a Windows-tailored keyboard laying around, use the “Windows-flag” key in stead of the [cmd]-key and it should also work.
    3/ Find the menu called “utilities” in the top left corner of your computer’s display. It’s in between the menus “edit” and “window” Don’t be confused with the menu called “os x utilities” 
    Choose Terminal. A somewhat old-fashioned looking window will pop up, waiting for a text command from you. This is the Terminal.
    After the # type: resetpassword and press return. Note that there is no space between ‘reset’ and ‘password’ 
    What you’ll see next is an rectangular window that gives you the option to reset passwords. Set a new password for all the users that you need.
    We’re ready to reboot your Mac now. Click on the Apple Menu and choose “startup disk” Choose to boot from “Macintosh HD” Please let us know if this solved your issue, or if the steps above did not work, or could not be performed for some reason.

    Your description of the problem is a bit confusing.  Do you have ONLY ONE Apple ID or do you have MORE THAN ONE?

    Each time i try to delete old administrators from a client in Remote Desktop, they are just reset after i restart the connection to this client. I deleted the client from Remote Desktop, tried to restart the ARD but it doesn't work. Any idea?

    Sign in to your gmail account from a web browser on your computer, click the gear on the top right then settings, click the forwarding tab enable forwarding and enter your iCloud.com email address and set the drop down to leave a copy on gmail then save changes.
    Be sure to enable Mail in your iCloud settings:
    Settings > iCloud > Mail - on

    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to add a special user to the "site collection administrators" of the personal site on sharepoint online when the personal site is creating.
    Per my knowledge,
    there is no out of the box way to accomplish this with SharePoint.
    This is a forum which is supported for SharePoint On-Premise.

  • E-Recruiting 3. 0 IT0001 of Internal Candidate Not Displayed

    The E-Recruiting system is running on the same instance. I have
    copied internal candidates using report HR_SYNC_PERSON. As per IMG notes, the following infotypes are copied: IT0000, IT0001, IT0002, IT0006, IT0105. I can display all the other infotypes in E-Recruiting via Data Overview except for IT0001. Where do I display that information in E-Recruiting.

    Hi,
    first of all, you never modify the SAP data overviews. As you can customize any customer smartform which has the same interface as the original one from sap via IMG, you define your own and put it into the customizing.
    To determine additional information you use the initialization of your customer smartform as the interface is fixed. For your information you will need cl_hrrcf_employee method get_positions to get the position list for the candidate (always keep in mind that a person can be assigned to several positions at the same time!).
    Then you use cl_hrrcf_oi_bl to get the related objects to the position and all the texts you need.

  • MBAM System Administrators - Missing Manage TPM and Drive Recovery option - MBAM 2.5

    I have installed MBAM 2.5 in a 3 server environment. Every thing is working fine and validated the installation.
    But what I have found that the drive recovery tab and Manage TPM is missing for the users member of MBAM System administrators. As there are many changes that comes with MBAM 2.5 and one is exclusion of MBAM local groups.
    Everything is perfect for the Advanced Helpdesk and Helpdesk users.

    Hi Gaurav,
    As you mentioned, there are no local groups anymore.  During configuration of the Admin portal, you specify AD groups for administration.  We removed the System administrators group because it was kind of redundant.  You could get the same
    effect by adding the user to the Advanced Helpdesk and Reporting Users AD groups you specify.  So, if you add whatever user you wanted to be the "system administrator" for MBAM to both of those AD groups, that should solve your problem.  Note you
    may have to log out of your machine and back in after adding them to the group so that they get the token, as with any AD group addition.
