Adobe Air - input one size, output multiple device screen size?

Hello, my first post here, I am new to Adobe Air, the advertising litrature says it can distribute to multiple formats/devices, I have a question on how it does this.
I have html javascript applications made to 480x320 in screen size, I would like to distribute them on many devices, Adobe Air says it can do that, but the different devices it can output to have different screen sizes.
How can an app that is at one size, be made for devices with other screen sizes, for example tablets, does the program re size it, stretch it, crop parts if its not a straight enlargement, or do you have to 're make' the app again set to the size of the screen of the device you want to output to?
Just how does Adobe Air handle outputting to different devices that have different screen size?

I'm trying to figure out how to get one account on multiple devices. I know that a personal iTunes account is allowed on at least five devices but I'm trying to get one business account on say "100 devices" is this possible?

You are correct that with personal Apple IDs you can download apps on 10 devices (up to 5 computers and the rest on iOS devices). The only way to use a single Apple ID on say 100 devices is through the use of Apple Configurator. (click the link and scroll down to the section for Apple Configurator to learn more)
If you are an educational institution or business you will want to enroll in Apple's Volume Purchase Program (VPP) which allows a single Apple ID to purchase multiple licenses of an app. Most developers will offer a 50% discount on their app when 20 or more VPP licenses are purchased in a single transaction.
With Apple Configurator you can distribute the VPP codes to your fleet of iPads. Apple Configurator uses a single Apple ID to install apps on your iPads. Configurator will also allow you to install free apps on multiple iPads using a single Apple ID.

OA Framework page (custom) does not shrink to mobile device screen size.

Hi,
OA Framework page (custom page) using IE6 had application disconnection problem.
So using IE6.1 beta/IE6.5 for OA Framework page (custom page) does not shrink/fit to the mobile device screen size. Means user have to scroll to the right/bottom every time. IE is set as a Mobile device (and not the desktop).
We have tried using following Meta Tag (with different content values) to inform the browser that this is a mobile device. But this has not worked.
pageContext.putMetaTag("MOBILEOPTIMIZED","<META name=\"MobileOptimized\" content=\"176\">");
How we can fix this issue?

What you are trying to do, I could not understand.
Apps Schema has all synonyms for almost all the objects in other schema if you will not specify any schema name the it will synonyms created in apps. For not using mention like this shema_name.object_name then it will fetch data from mentioned schema.

One itunes account multiple devices in family - help

I have one itunes account but multiple devices used by the family and I am having conflicts with sharing and face time, imessage etc.
Listed devices
Me - iphone 5, Ipad mini, Apple Tv, Macbook Pro 13" (just purchased)
Wife - iphone 5, ipad
Daughter - iphone 4, ipad mini
Son - iphone 4
Son - ipad
At the moment we all use one itunes account (mine) we all have our own email adresses etc.
I have itunes U which can be accessed.
The problem is everyone wants to use face time and imessage etc but I keep having conflicts with the devices sharing eachothers messages etc. Plus not eveyone wants to share photos etc so how do you manage that across mulitple devices.
Is it a set up issue or is it easier for everyone to have their own accounts.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You could simply ensure that only the numbers and addresses you wish to use on each device are checked at Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. However this isn’t an ideal solution because the other person can always change these settings from their device and have some fun with you and your contacts.
You’d be far better getting them to delete your account from their device and have them create one of their own. If you are sharing an ID for some other service such as iTunes, you can continue to do so, you only need change the ID for messages.

FaceTime: One apple ID, multiple devices

I'm hoping someone can help me solve this dilemma. I have one apple ID that's signed on for multiple devices (iMac, iPad and my iPhone 4). And I'm having tough time trying to figure out how to call from one device to another. For example, from my iPad (when I'm on the road) to my iMac (at home). How do I set that up?

When you sign into facetime or imessage you can specify a unique email for that device, this becomes the facetime or imessage id for that device.
Hense multiple id's per device, certain id's can be used over multiple devices without any issues. For example settings, itunes, and then sign in with all the same itunes id.
An apple id has a sub heading

facetime
gamecentre
itunes
each can have there own unique email address (id) and each one can be signed out and signed into with a different email address by going through settings, then the app you want.

HT1495 Multiple logons for one computer and multiple devices trying to use one itunes account.

I have one computer with a logon for Kids and one for Adults. There is a touch and nano that was added to a single itunes account tied to my email on the adult logon and the shuffle that is on the kids account. I can't seem to get the multiple devices access to all the songs with out erase and re-sync error message when not using the right device on the assigned logon to the computer - why and can we change this?

It sounds like each Windows user has it's own iTunesLibrary.itl file. If that is the case, then you are correct, the correct device must be connected when logged in with the correct login.
If all Windows logins share an iTunesLibrary.itl file... then it does not matter which login is used or which device is connected.

Adobe Air won't install on android device.

Just got a android phone to develop air apps on and guess what, the Adobe Air won't load.
The phone (Virgin Mobile Optimus V = Mid-Tex Cellular LGE VM670) was just released.
Does Adobe Air have minimum specs that have to be followed?
Does the Adobe Air app have to updated with my phone to allow access on the android market .
Some Air apps will show my phone, on others air apps do not (device ghosted) Including Adobe Air.

I found this minimun specs:
Android devices
Google Android™ 2.2 operating system
ARMv7-A processor with vector FPU
OpenGL ES 2
H.264 and AAC hardware decoders
256MB of RAM
The Optimus V has OS 2.2 and enough ram.
Have to check the rest of the specs.
The screen res is 320x480 and the processor is slow but has a gpu.
I was surprised to see only 5 manufacturers certifided for Adobe Air Runtimes!
There might be 50 manufacturers world wide making android devices.
You would think the software would cater to the lowest common denomminator = minimun specs.
I don't mind needing top of the line specs, that's OK makes sense, But not being able to sell an app
because the manufacturer has not been certifided makes no sense.
All manufacturers should have a top of the line device that meets the minimun spec.
It limits your market.

I am using Adobe Air 13.0 to upload a streaming video to Flash Media Server.
This works fine on all Android devices, but on iOS devices (both iPad and iPhone) the publish stream breaks after several time (could be 10 seconds, could be 5 minutes).
Here are my relevant code segments:

One computer, one iTunes account, multiple devices and iCloud accounts, help!

We have a family MacBook and have always held a single iTunes account. We have multiple devices (iTunes Match has proved to be very useful). We have 2 x iCloud accounts. This causes an issue in terms of synchronisation. Is it possible to synch calendars and photos? As mentioned, the music is no longer an issue with iTunes match. Is there a way that we can synch calendars and photos without having to use a single iCloud account? In addition, the only reason we have separate iCloud accounts is for email. Can I keep my mobile.me email without an iCloud account?

I personally would recommend to use different iCloud account for your own stuff like email, calendars, reminders etc. If you want to have a calendar for your family then just share it via your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Yes, you could keep you me,com email address but it should be migrated to icloud because MobileMe was shut down.

One Apple ID, Multiple devices

Getting married soon and joining two Apple households. We will have an iMac, iPad, MacBook and two iPhones. Is it possible to have one apple Id for all of these computers/devices? Thanks in advance.

Since you are allowed to share purchases between accounts via Home Sharing in iTunes, my wife and I each have our own separate account and only share stuff that we like in common. It has it's own caveats, (like ninja purchases without notifying the other, ending up in a double purchase) but so far works for us.
Added:
As for the single shared account and iCloud, I beileve there was a setting that allowed you to stop auto-downloading.
You can always go to iTunes / Purchased and manually download things you would like.
Hopefully they will make it app-specific as I think it would be nice to have songs auto-downloaded (similar tastes) but not apps.

Can I use multiple IDs for one iTunes and multiple devices

We have one family computer with iTunes, my older brother has an iPhone and I have an iPhone. A family ID was previously used to purchase songs for the family to share. My older brother has created an apple ID for his iPhone, and l have a yet unused apple ID. my brother downloaded songs etc onto the family iTunes that I would like to share, there are songs on the family apple ID that we would both like. Can you download purchases from multiple apple IDs into one iTunes account, then sync that data onto multiple phones that each have a separate ID? Is iTunes linked to one ID? Can purchases from multiple IDs be grouped together in our family account. Also do I Actually need a separate Apple for my iPhone to prevent private messages and contacts being shared?

I forgot to add my iPhone is brand new and unused, and also that the iTunes account has non purchased songs on there. Can these be shared. As it is a new computer the purchases from the family ID have not been downloaded yet

One icloud account multiple devices

If using one iCloud account for the family how do I prevent Contacts crossing over devices? My Contacts are showing up on my wifes phone.
I also set her up with her own iCloud account and the Contacts are still crossing phones.

iCloud is a single user system (1 person, 1 account) use it correctly and there is no issue

One library with multiple devices with different accounts?

Here is the setup:
*(1) Windows XP PC with iTunes and (1) Library
*(1) iPhone and (1) iPad with iTunes Account A
*(1) iPad with iTunes Account B
*(1) iTouch with iTunes Account C
Is it possible to have one iTunes Library where we can all have our music (all we use really - no videos, etc) and can drag and drop among the different devices as we please? If so, how can this be done? If it cannot be done, what is the next best thing and how do you do it?
(All devices are sync'd manually - we just drag / drop.)

HT201304 oh, my God. Was anything ever so poorly explained as the use of one id for multiple devices? who, where can anyone help sort out the mess that has developed?

I have used my iphone 4s for over a year. Recently, I bought two ipod touch devices, one for each of my children. While attempting to set up their ipods, even with email advice from apple, we have become utterly confused as to whose apple id is on whose phone/ipod, why some apps automatically appear on two devices but not on the third (it varies). Most worryingly, in app purchases is DISABLED on my iphone but my children can still purchase in-app purchases without my knowledge and have run up bills (fortunately not huge bills). Why would anyone want to allow this???? If I have consciously disabled in app purchases under my apple id on my iphone, why would the default on another device be to allow in app purchases, when using my apple id?
When setting up my children's apple ids, I wanted them to have their own apple id to avoid this kind of confusion but we got warnings that they were not allowed to have an apple id (presumably too young?) . But they have got their own ipods and should be able to purchase items using itunes cards so why cant they have an independent apple id? And what's the difference between the apple id and the itunes id?
Is there anyone who can help clear up this mess?

You have to diasable in app purchases on the device itself, NOT the id.
If you want in app purchases disabled on the ipods, then you will have to do this on the ipods themselves.

Lenovo 11s backup one backup for multiple devices

Hi, have bought 28 devices...
on first acitivation, 800MB win 8 update, then 3.62 GB to update to Win 8.1, , then another 1GB for win8.1 updates. 2.5 hours ++
Microsoft and Lenovo seems to have got rid of the concept of ISO image backup disks purchase as an option..
Now if i were to follow the tortuous create system recovery route and create a back up image.
Could i use that image to install the update/restore on all the other devices... or is that "backup" linked to a windows activation code for the device it was created on?
Windows 8 and 8.1 a proverbial mess.....
Searched online in Lenovo . no answers

The best way to do what you want to do is to use Microsoft Deployment Toolkit. There is a learning curve; however, it is the tool Microsoft intends to be used for image capture and deployment in a an environment where you do not already have something like SCCM in place to manage and deploy systems. With it you can capture an image from a donor machine and you can create deployment media (a usb key) which allows you to deploy that captured image to other machines.
Using the method you described, all of the machines would have the same exact SID's (security IDs). The MDT process uses sysprep so that every machine can be initialized with their own unique SIDs.
