Adobe Air - Wont Open Program

I have the newest version of Adobe Air installed.
Upon double clicking on my software application, the Air "terms and conditions" box appears. I hit "accept" but at this point nothing happens - my software does not open as it should.
Does anybody have a fix for this?
Thanks in advance!

Ok here's what i did - went to C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\AIR renamed eulaAccepted to something else. Then ran the app (HTC sync) again.
It worked for me!

Adobe Speedgrade wont open! All I get is to the splash screen and then nothing but a grayed out window. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program with no luck. Is this happening to anyone else?

Would help to have a clue about your situation ... so the basic details of OS/CPU/RAM/GPU/vRAM, and the exact version you are running of Sg would be of use. As to version, build numbers are preferable, lower left corner of the "About" screen, you might have to scroll down to get to it. Will be something like 7.2 or the current 8.2x51.
Next ... uninstalling the Adobe programs with the system OS tools isn't often useful. Adobe has their "CC Cleaner Application" ...
    Adobe CC Cleaner App
    https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Which deletes also some of the preference & startup files that system uninstallers typically don't touch.
Also, holding alt/shift down while starting your program might be able to bypass a file that could be causing the problem, forcing Sg to create a new one.

  • My (UK bought) MacBook Air wont open open Chilean (.cl) websites - anyone any idea why?

My (UK bought) MacBook Air wont open open Chilean (.cl) websites - anyone know why? Or what I can do to change this?

Go to the main Library folder and look for a folder called Application Support / Microsoft.
There are a few folders in there, and you may have to do some digging. In one of them (mine is called MAU2.0), there should be a file called Microsoft Autoupdate. Open it.
    It looks like this:
check the button for manual updates.
That should let you open the apps without triggering an automatic update.

Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.
Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
    Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
    Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
    Click Repair Disk.
    Restart your computer when done.
Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25751 and restart your computer.
Before your standard warranty runs out especially if you do not have Apple Care, take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP if the above does not work or any other suggestions you get do not work.
If in fact you do have Apple Care, call them and get a case#.

  • Adobe AIR apps open to black screen in iOS 8

Adobe AIR for iOS apps I published using Flash Professional CS6 no longer run properly on iOS 8. They worked fine in iOS 7.
After opening, they just hang at a black screen (likely the launch screen - I didn't make an image for it).
Is this a known issue? Are there any solutions?

I've found an answer- the apps were published using the AIR 3.4 SDK, which I guess iOS 8 doesn't support.
Republished one with the newest AIR 15 SDK and it works properly.
Guess I'll have to republish everything.

  • Adobe Air Popup open from taskbar

    hello frndz
please me help out in creating a popup in Adobe Air open from taskbar after regular time interval.similar as we see on yahoomessenger or msn messenger.
is there any way for this.?
actually i m making a text chat messenger in Adobe Air and needed this demo for on on-air(live) and off -air users(offline)..
    Thanks and regards

So basically you are talking about a small pop up window as in you see when your friends are online on yahoo/msn.
If that's the case you can get the visible screen bounds &
    nativeWindow.x=screenBounds.width - nativewindow.width
    nativeWindow.y=screenBounds.height - nativewindow.height
This should place the window at thebottom right corner of your screen (next to system tray)
You can change the transparency/alpha of the window to have that fadeIn/fadeOut effect.

  • TweetDeck/Adobe Air not opening URLs in the browser in x86_64 system.

    Hi,
I have managed to setup the last version of the (Adobe Air based) TweetDeck application running in my x86_64 and KDE system. I've gone through all the comments in the AUR entry and installed all the relevant lib32 libraries and such, and it appears to all work fine except for one issue.
When I click on a URL contained in a tweet, nothing happens. It does not open the URL in Firefox as I would expect. Clicking on other items such as the user's ID or the posting date also do nothing. (I should mention that I have i686 ArchLinux running on another machine, and it handles all this with TweetDeck/Air no problems.) Now I suspect this is an Adobe Air issue rather than TweetDeck specific, but that is only my suspicion.
I tried running strace on the app, and I can see that at one point it reads the Firefox profiles.ini and the prefs.js for my profile, so I suspect it is trying to do some sort of silly-buggers instead of just launching the /usr/bin/firefox executable with the URL as an argument.
Any ideas on how I can get this working?
    Thanks.
    E.

    Hi ecognito,
what window manager are you using? I had a similar issue with pidgin not opening links in XFCE4 and was able to fix it... but I suspect yours MAY be a different case.

  • Adobe Acrobat wont open

I have seen a thing saying that if installed with the Suite package I can deactivate it and reactivate it, but I am sure I had it before I bought the suite, and it was working just fine until recently. I'm not sure why it wont open up at all, and I don't think I have a serial number for it either.

Do you receive an error message when you try to open Acrobat?  Which suite did you install it with?  What version of Acrobat are you trying to open?  Which operating system are you using?  Finally what have you tried so far to resolve your current difficulties?

  • Adobe Air  wont download. Help!

It keeps giving me and error saying it's not allowed

Air Runtime. Here is the error I'm getting.

I am downloading it on the administrator account so I don't get why I'm getting this error.

  • Adobe Reader wont open in Remote Desktop virtual pool machine

I find it very odd that I'm not the only one who's tried to do this and got this error since its EXTREMELY easy to replicate... I'm trying to setup a remote desktop pool of 4 machines so my remote users can access them.  I'm doing a pool because there is never more than 4 users on at once and I'm setting them up to have personal Hard disk file so their settings are saved and they can still connect to any one of the machines since they are all indentical, Similar to roaming profiles.  Now the huge problem is I setup these machines with Adobe Reader 11 and when you log on as one of the users through the remote desktop program the adobe program will crash every time you open it.  After opening and crashing multiple times it will finally open but it will always have a window saying Adobe has experienced an internal error.  The program will also run extremely slow.  If I connect to the virtual box through Hyper-V as an admin or even local user the application will run perfectly normal..  Why wont it run when logging in through RDP and using the profile disks?

Your log file shows you to be running v10.1.0.534. Could you please update to the latest version which is v10.1.1 and then try again. You can get it from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/direct/
Also, has a rule been created in the BeyondTrust Software application you appear to be using to allow Reader X to open in Protected Mode? That application might be interfering with the way Reader X operates. There's a demo on their site which might help: http://www.beyondtrust.com/Products/PowerBroker-Desktops-Windows-Edition/Product-Demo/

    dell   Windows XP
    dell   Windows XP

I actually had this problem re-installing iTunes yesterday.
Click on the Send Error Report and it will, after sending, come up with a microsoft online link thing. Click on that and it goes to this site that says "Apple as infomred Microsoft that they can fix this problem." and then it says, "Follow this link." Click on the link on the page and it will come up to the newest iTunes download page. Download that and it should clear up. Make sure that you have completly uninstalled and deleted all folders in Program files for all iTunes / iPod related services, except your music folder.

No error message, it just doesn’t open, if I click on a shortcut the timer shows for  a few seconds and then disappears and nothing happens, if I check tasks it shows adobe update as running in the background but nothing else,

  • Had FBI virus and removed.  Now Adobe products wont open.  How to fix

Open task manager in XP when booting any Adobe software product.  CPU usage skyrockets and Acro32 just keeps increasing and increasing until I run out of memory.  I have tried all sorts of antivirus, malware, rootkits ... to no avail.  Foxit works to open PDF's but I can't run acrobat.  Any help would be fantastic.@

Ok. You'll probably want to download the Acrobat cleaner tool to remove everything then reinstall.
