Adobe Connect 9 on premises: how to give public access to a meeting recording?

We are using Adobe Connect 9 Pro on premises.  We record meetings.  Is there any way to make the meeting available to public viewers without forcing a logon?  Thanks.

Sameer,
Thanks very much for your offer.  Here is a link, and I believe it will ask you to log in:

This note does not mention SRM 7.0 .  I just wanted to confirm from you that the changes the note mentions does in fact work in SRM 7.0?
We are upgrading to SRM 7.0 and are thinking of switching from classic to extended classic, but ONLY if we can have the PO output in the ERP system.

  • How to give full access to mailbox to users in trusted domain?

    Hi,
I am working on a migration-project where we migrate all users from one domain to a new domain. I have Exchange in both domains, and migrates mailoboxes from the old to the new domain. In the old domain I have a number of mailboxes that are used for common
calendars for the departments. My problem is: How can I give the users who has been  migrated to the new domain full access to the existing calendar-mailboxex in the old domain? I have given the accounts in the new domain full access to the mailboxes
in the old domain by using to following command: get-mailbox mailboxname | add-mailboxpermission -accessrights FullAccess,ExternalAccount -user newdomain\username
After the command has completed I can see the account listed in the "Manage Full Access Permission"-dialog, but still the new useraccount cannot create appointments etc in the original calendar from Outlook.
    Any tips on this?
    Thor-Egil

    Hi Thor,
    Thank you for your question.
Did the issue occur when we use OWA?
Are there any errors when they cannot create appointments?
We could enable “Support cross forest delegation” on FIM(Forefront Identity Manager) to check if the issue persist.
There is an article for us to how to enable “Support cross forest delegation” by the following link:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/neiljohn/archive/2011/10/12/exchange-server-2010-cross-forest-delegation.aspx
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
    Best Regard,

  • How to give view access to a column in a table

I have a view with 100 columns. I want certain users to have access only to 10 columns. I was able to do this without any issues, but when they connect and expand the view they could still see all the column names.
I was wondering whether there is away to restrict access to that too. So that the user will see only the columns that they have access to.
Prsently, they see all the columns and when they do a select * , sql gives the error "Permission denied"
Could they enter select * and see only their column names too?

It is not clear to me when you said "but when they connect and expand the view they could still see all the column names".
I tried to expand this view in SSMS but could not able to see the other columns.

  • DS 5.2 - how to give users access to suffixes via the admin console?

I'm in the process of migrating my LDAP install from 5.1 -> 5.2, and have encountered an issue with console access. The "admin" user previously had access to all the suffixes in the directory. After loading the data into a 5.2 directory, this access was lost. The "admin" user can login to the console, but in the directory tab, only sees "cn=schema" and "cn=monitor". The data suffixes are not present. I have verified that the ACI for this user should be allowing access to the data suffixes.
    Any ideas?
Additionally, I've tried creating new users with console access, and none of them can even login. Thoughts?

    never mind, found it there.

  • Recordings from my Sony digital voice recorder transferred from WindowsXP  to my new Mountain Lion iMac but will not open to hear. Is there a program to give me access to these important records?

All my material moved from my Windows XP to my new desktop Mac Mountain Lion, including the important recordings from my Sony digital IC voice Recorder , but they will  not open in a form to be listened to. Is there a program available to give access to these audio files and allow continued use of this recorder ?

It is a proprietary Sony format, you will need help from them.

  • How can I get my web cam to work in Adobe Connect ?

This is actually an end user's question that I am having trouble answering to...
We use Adobe Connect to give online language classes, the end user is one of the students.
I cannot find the right Support answer to give him.
    Problem:
My camera does not work when I connect to Adobe's rooms but camera works fine with other software.
Even though I suspected my old camera was working fine, yesterday I went ahead and bought a new camera.
I thought perhaps my webcam software may have been a problem, so I bought a different type camera with different software.
Even after removing all the old software, same result:
I surmised the problem might be caused by my firewall and security software, so once I tried changing the permissions for Adobe, and my Webcam, but that didn’t work.
Another time, I restarted my computer right before class and then turned off my firewall completely so there would be no interference but to no avail. I’m totally perplexed.
Isn’t there anyone else experiencing a similar problem?   Has anyone else found a solution?
I run Windows Vista with McAfee Internet Security Software.  I always reboot the computer before class and open no other programs other than Google Chrome.
I now have a brand new Microsoft LifeCam Cinema Camera with LifeCam 3.5 Webcam Software.
I test my camera before going online.  It always works fine.   Then I shut down the camera program and login into class.
When I “connect webcam” in the room, the light on my camera comes on (suggesting that it is ON), but only a black image is transmitted to the room.

Check to see if you have Google Voice installed. If so, remove it and see
if your problem vanishes. If not Google Voice, check to see if you have
any other communications software which interacts with your cam and
disable it. This was the problem I had with a similar problem on a Mac.

Thanks a lot Heyward for the swift reply !
I sent the advice out to the end user, but unfortunately this wasn't the
    solution.
    His reply is below :-
The default resolution of my new camera is already set at 640x360, but I
went ahead and tried several lower resolutions (e.g. 424x240; 320x240; and
160x120) but none worked in the room - camera still showed up as black
blank screen.  Also, as far as I can tell, I don’t have the option of
    adjusting the frame rate.
I started playing around with my Internet Security Settings to see if they
might be playing a role. So far, all to no avail.
Hmm...quite a tricky one - webcams always are - maybe if he can find a way
to adjust the frame rate (?).
He's going to fiddle about with the settings a bit more and see if
    something does the trick.
If anyone has had a similar problem and found an ingenious solution,
please jot on a note on this thread.

  • Video Capture Card for Adobe Connect

Does anyone have any recommendations for a video capture card for the Mac to use with Adobe Connect? I have a HD camera that I want to connect to my Mac through the S video connection on the camera. I need a video capture card that will work with Adobe Connect.

The Video Telephony Pod is the video pod when Video Telephony Conferencing equipment/cameras are configured to talk with Adobe Connect. This was introduced in Connect 8.1 for SIP and H.264  based VTC systems. It will only work with H.264 video streams from the VTC type cameras found in conference rooms. Usually the major players in the U.S. are Polycom and Tandberg.
The VTC Pod appears as a standard pod once the administrator of an Adobe Connect on-premise server has configured the various admin screens and added the SIP addesees to the configuration xml file.
The video quality is different than the webcam video as here is a table:
    Tandberg 990:
    Profile Level At FMG End
    Video Out At Device
    High
    1200.0kbps  448p
    Medium
    600.0 kbps   448p
    Low
    250kbps       CIF
    Tandberg Edge 95 MXP:
    Profile Level At FMG End
    Video Out At Device
    High
    1700 kbps w720p
    Medium
    600kbps    w448p
    Low
    250kbps    w288p
    More information on formats:
    768 x 448@30fps (w448p)
    576 x 448@30fps (448p)
    512 x 288@30fps (w288p)
    352 x 288@30fps (CIF)
    176 x 144@30fps (QCIF)
So, that HIGH, MEDIUM and LOW refer to the Adobe Connect room preference setting for video. Notice that HIGH shows we can deliver 720p resolution.
The normal webcam video pod is locked to 480p (VGA) 4x3 resolution at 20 frames per second but the server admin on an on-premise install  can alter a configuration xml file to go 24 fps but not higher than VGA on the webcam pod.
Probably more than you ever imagined I would share but that's my style.
    Take care.

  • Sharing digital video | Learn Adobe Connect | Adobe TV

See how FLV files are handled seamlessly in Adobe Connect. Learn how to handle lower resolution video and still achieve excellent results.
    http://adobe.ly/wTlLcx

I'm having a problem sharing video. Specifically, I'm attempting to share video on iPad within a PowerPoint presentation. Although Connect/Presenter does support many file formats, none appear to work on an iPad. Apple does not support Flash (.flv) and, though I convert the files to ensure they are a max of 640x480 and 15 fr, the videos will not work in MP4 or h.264 MP4 format, either. Is there a work-around here that I'm missing?

  • Adobe Connect 8 and Firefox - meeting login expired

I'm getting people unable to access scheduled meetings as guests - they get the following message:
"You cannot access this meeting because your meeting login has expired. Please log into the meeting in a new window."
It seems that they're running Firefox 6.0.2, however, if they open up the link using IE or Google Chrome this error doesn't appear.
Any reason why this might be happening? Is this a known error with Firefox?

This is a known issue that we first encountered following the upgrade to version 8.2. The easy work around is to just open the meeting room in another browser. If you actually want to fix the problem, you need to remove the Adobe Connect Add-In.
How to uninstall Adobe Connect Add-in
    1. Remove all files from:
    C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\www.macromedia.com\bin
    2. Install the mms.zip file found here - http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/606/fd606fac.html
    3. Follow instructions to enable debugging (I think you you admin priviledges on your computer to do this).

  • How to give permission to Menu Item in PeopleSoft HR 7.5

    Hello All,
I am new to PS 7.5. I like to find how to give permission to MenuItem in PS 7.5. I am able to go there via
PeopleTools -> Security Administrator -> MenuItems -> double click on the Administer Workforce -> I will see my menuitem there. I highlited my menuitem. still I coulcnt see that menuitem online. Please let me know how to give menuitem access in PeopleSoft 7.5.
    Thanks.

I would check to see if there is software that can be downloaded to the PC from the manufacturer. I am assuming your device is a "plug and play" device. The manufacturer might still have the device drivers for install on their website.
Installing the drivers manually should alleviate the problem
Otherwise, you can make the changes in Group Policy to solve the problem

  • How do I allow meeting participants to control the volume of an audio file in Adobe Connect 9?

The feature of changing the audio volume as a participant in an Adobe Connect meeting seems to have gone away in version 9.
It is missing on both audio and video files, and I am currently losing paying customers because the volume is either too low or too high.
How do I give my users audio volume control again?

Select all of your audio, go to the Modify > Audio > Apply Audio Normalization. It will bring all clips in each track to be the same level. Then, later, you can do your final mix much easier.
Or go to Window > Arrange > Audio Mixing and you'll have an on-screen mixing board to work with. There's a speaker icon in the top right, green keyframing is on while you mix in realtime during playback, gray, keyframing is off.
But use the first method first, for sure. Open the audio mixer after that, you'll save yourself a ton of work and time.

  • How, using Adobe Connect can increase the number of participants in the meeting? I need more than 25 people.

Hi, I use licensed Adobe Connect. Earlier in the meeting could involve up to 100 people. Now only 25. How, using Adobe Connect can increase the number of participants in the meeting? I need more than 25 people.
    Thanks for your help.

The purchasing option through adobe.com only allows up to 25 attendees. If you need more than that, you will need to purchase through a reseller. You can find one that is able to sell in your part of the world, here: Adobe Connect Partners. Just reach out to one of the Global Partners.
