Adobe elements 13 fails to load

I recently upgraded to photoshop elements 13.  There were no issues on installation.  However after opening it three times.  It now will not load at all.  Any suggestions please?

Are you trying to load Elements Editor or Organizer?

Photoshop Elements 11 fails to load and rolls back as soon as it switches to 'installing shared services'. How can I overcome this? Premier Elements is already loaded and works fine including the Organiser. Photo Elements 10 is still on the system and also works fine.
    System - Windows 7 OS1

    Hello
I have tried that previously, it didn’t work then and it doesn’t now.
What I have just done is run the installation until it came up with the error message and killed the set-up file & windows installer. Photoshop elements seems to be almost installed. Organiser works for both Premier & Photoshop. What files etc would have been loaded from the point of the error message? The installation worked on a borrowed laptop (on 30 day trial). Hopefully all I need to do is copy the missing files across if you could advise what they are.

You can find full details on how to locate and interpret the installation log at Troubleshoot install using logs | Elements - http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/troubleshoot-install-usin g-logs-elements.html.
You may also want to review Error "Exit 6" or "Exit 7" | Install log | Read, write, system file errors | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html as Exit Code 7 errors are often permission related.  You should be able to find the specific directory/directories which you are facing this difficulty with within your installation log.

Since you have an Error 106 it would appear that you are still attempting to download the software and have not begun the install process.  Error 106 occurs when you try to add a product to download when it is already in your list.  Please try canceling the download through the Adobe Download Assistant and try the download again.  Also please choose the default location of your User folder to save the download too.
Alternately you can initiate a direct download by following the directions listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.

Karin I am sorry but if you have purchased Elements 11 through the App store then you will want to contact Apple regarding your download difficulties.

  • Adobe Elements 6 will not load

Several times I have installed, then uninstalled this program for the same reason, namely, it will not load. For a few times after the reinstall, it works okay, then stops. I have gone into "Services" and restarted the "active file monitor" but it doesn't help.
    What do you suggest?

Are you able to launch PSE-Welcome screen?

  • AP Downloader-"Failed to load plugins to get media from devices"

I'm using Photoshop Elements 6.0/ Premiere 4.0, the problem comes up if I try to load to either program. I have it set to automatically download my pics when I insert a media card into my computer; the following dialog box comes up when I insert a card; Adobe Photo downloader- “Failed to load plugins to get media from devices”. I tried to fix the problem by using the Adobe CD, but the program asks for “Disk 1”, the original disk is in & I have no other disks. What needs to be done to correct this problem?
    Thank You

    Dave,
Please close Organizer and delete the folder Organizer inside your user folder @ path: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\6.0\Organizer.
This would delete your APD preferences. If relaunch doesnot fix the problem, remove your card and restart your system and try again. Let me know if this works.

  • Module oc30 failed to load

Norton Security removed the file oc30.dll in response to a trojan infection. On startup I now get the error message from RegSvr32: The module "C:\Users\JaL\AppData\Local\Adobe\oc30.dll" failed to load.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Reader and have now uninstalled all Adobe software. I have even used the Reader cleaning tools to be sure. I still get the message.
There is a trace of oc30.dll in the registry along with the name "Adobe Updater." Do I need to replace oc30.dll or remove the registry key, or is there something else entirely that I am missing?

oc30.dll is not an Adobe file; it may be a legitimate (Microsoft) module but it does not belong into that location.
This is obviously a remnant of the malware infection, that Norton did not bother to clean up.  You will have to manually remove that entry from your startup list.

  • Adobe Reader 9 plugin fails to load on RedHat Linux OS

I built a plugin using Acrobat SDK 9 for Adobe reader 9.5 on Redhat Linux OS. I am able to successfully build and reader enable the plugin.
But when I start Adobe Reader 9, the plugin fails to load with error "Undefined Symbol: RestorePlugInFrame".
As I understand, on Linux platform with C++ enabled, the RestorePlugInFrame function should not be required.
Is there any other flag I need to set while building the plugin?
Appreciate any suggestions in resolving this issue. Thank you.
    -Srilatha

Yes. Adobe support told me that the license key I used to build Adobe 8 plugin on Linux should work for Adobe 9 plugin too. Using SignPlugin tool and the license key I was able to successfully reader enable the plugin.

  • Adobe reader fails to load

I attempted to load Adobe Reader and received the error message "Object already Exists" with Adobe failing to load.  Please help.

    Hello,
As per the thread Getting Object already exist error when installing adobe reader, removing Microsoft update KB2918614 resolves the issue for some folks. You can also check the same.
