Adobe flash download help ???

Hello.  I repeatedly successfully ??? download adobe flash player only to repeatedly have a box pop up when I attempt to listen or access something online saying "Opps, you need to download the latest adobe flash player to access this"  HELP... how can I make the download work or what else can I use to listen to or access programs online?

I would reset the browser. If it is IE, go to tools, internet options, then choose the last tab called advanced. Then click the "Reset" button. Close out the browser, then re-open it and try to watch a youtube video. If that works, then you are all set!

  • Adobe Flash download stops working after I press run. It worked fine with Explorer before I went to Forefox

    error message reads " adobe flash download has stopped working. Windows will notify you if there is a fix" or something like that. I have tried to download about 10 times over 3 days. I need help. I transferred over to Firefox just this week from IE. I had no problems with Adobe with that program. But I cannot download it onto Firefox. Very frustrating. I have Windows Vista on this laptop.

    I just tried the link and it is just fine. If the GateKeeper pops up then open Security & Privacy preferences, click on the General tab, set the last radio button to Anywhere.

  • Captivate5 Autorun opens Adobe Flash download page

    I have developed an education package on Captivate5.
    After publishing and choosing the settings "autorun CD & HTML", I cannot play the CD on my own computer.
    When inserted into  my computer, I briefly see the title of the education on the browser tab, then the Adobe Flash download page appears. I cannot access my presentation and I already have Flash installed. My publish settings are set to Adobe Flash 9, and I am being prompted to download 10.3.
    The autorun works fine on 2 of my colleagues computers.
    Any suggestions? Is this likely to occur for any of our users?

    Have you checked whether or not the publish location has been added to your own PC's Flash Global Security as a trusted location?
    Your issue might also be security related.

  • Can't download free Adobe Flash Player - Help

    I tried to download free Adobe Flash Player or Adobe Reader (is the same) and appears in the screen the following message:
    "GetPlus+(R) The specified software requires a recent version of windows" and I can't proceed with instalation. I have already done a virus verification with Kasperky and it's OK. I have Windows XP (SP3) and Internet Explorer 7.
    Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi, Don't use that DLM(download manager) since it can cause a problem.
    Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Uninstaller:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
    Download and SAVE to your Desktop the Installer for IE- use the EXE Installer
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
    Close all browser windows, you only want to be looking at your Desktop.
    Disable any messenger services, as yahoo, msn, etc in the system tray(area near the clock)
    Disable any Realtime Anti-Virus until you have finished Uninstalling and Installing Flash Player
    Be sure to use the Administrator Account.
    Run the Uninstaller and when finished, Reboot(restart) your computer.
    Check to make sure the Anti-Virus is still Disabled
    Run the Installer for IE,  and when finished, Reboot.
    Re-enable your Anti-Virus
    Then go to this test site and test each browser:

    You may want to print these instructions to make it easier to follow. If you have any questions, let me know.

    Trash what you have already downloaded.  Repair permissions and restart your computer.  Once you reach the desktop, uninstall all previous versions of flash player - Flash Player Uninstaller.  Afterwards, download and install Adobe Flash Player Software.  Again, repair permissions and restart your computer when done.

  • Adobe Flash Player Help Please !!

    Greetings,
                  Here is the story.  I just bought a new iMac running 10.83.  The problem I'm having is that I cannot watch any of the news site videos because they all ask for Adobe Flash Player.  I have downloaded Adobe and am not getting any results.  The video starts to run, but then either stops and/or looses the sound. Examples of sites are loacal news, CNN and Weather Channel.  Nothing seems to work.
    This has become really frustrated.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Just do not understand why I'm not able to get this up and going.
    Thanks,
    Ted

    Two bugs, one affecting Apple's Mac platform and another attacking Microsoft's Windows, exploit certain Flash player vulnerabilities to install malware onto users' systems, reports ArsTechnica. While users of other operating systems like Linux have yet to report attacks, Adobe's advisory notes the exploit affects all platforms.
    Designated as CVE-2013-0634, the first vulnerability targets the Safari and Firefox Web browsers running on OS X, and is also being used as a trojan to deploy Microsoft Word documents containing malware. For Mac users, the flaw affects Adobe Flash Player version 11.5.502.146 or earlier.
    On March 1 Apple again blocked Flash Player for Lion and Mountain Lion:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5660
    The Adobe Flash patch can be found on Adobe’s website, and users can visit this page to check if their software is the most curent version.
    You should uninstall any previous version first, and repair permissions after installing the new version.
    If you still get a ‘plug-ins blocked’ message:

  • How do I know if I have a trojan via adobe flash download

    I was told by my internet provider that a computer in my house has a Trojan. He said it arrived at 4:30 pm. I was working on my Mac then, looking at The Bay and WestJet sites. An "Adobe Flash Player install" popped up on my computer and I just closed it... I don't remember exactly what I pressed to make it go away. So now I don't know if there is a trojan on my computer or not and what to do about it.
    thanks

    You are being scammed, most likely, but not by your provider.
    Helpful Links Regarding Malware Problems
    If you are having an immediate problem with ads popping up see The Safe Mac » Adware Removal Guide, AdwareMedic, or Remove unwanted adware that displays pop-up ads and graphics on your Mac - Apple Support.
    Open Safari, select Preferences from the Safari menu. Click on Extensions icon in the toolbar. Disable all Extensions. If this stops your problem, then re-enable them one by one until the problem returns. Now remove that extension as it is causing the problem.
    The following comes from user stevejobsfan0123. I have made minor changes to adapt to this presentation.
    Fix Some Browser Pop-ups That Take Over Safari.
    Common pop-ups include a message saying the government has seized your computer and you must pay to have it released (often called "Moneypak"), or a phony message saying that your computer has been infected, and you need to call a tech support number (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it resolved. First, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and your computer has not been affected. This "hijack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so do not pay any money, call the listed number, or provide any personal information. This article will outline the solution to dismiss the pop-up.
    Quit Safari
    Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
    Relaunch Safari
    If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.
    This will not work in all cases. The shift key must be held at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window reappears. In these circumstances, after force quitting Safari, turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then relaunch Safari normally. It will try to reload the malicious webpage, but without a connection, it won't be able to. Navigate away from that page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com, and trying to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet, and the page you entered will appear rather than the malicious one.

    From user Joe Bailey comes this equally useful advice:
    The facts are:
    1. There is no anti-malware software that can detect 100% of the malware out there.
    2. There is no anti-malware that can detect everything targeting the Mac.
    3. The very best way to prevent the most attacks is for you as the user to be aware that
         the most successful malware attacks rely on very sophisticated social engineering
         techniques preying on human avarice, ****, and fear.
    4. Internet popups saying the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on
        your computer is intended to entice you to install their malware thinking it is a
        protection against malware.
    5. Some of the anti-malware products on the market are worse than the malware
        from which they purport to protect you.
    6. Be cautious where you go on the internet.
    7. Only download anything from sites you know are safe.
    8. Avoid links you receive in email, always be suspicious even if you get something
        you think is from a friend, but you were not expecting.
    9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume it is malware.

  • Adobe Flash Download from Internet

    I can't view any videos on my MacBook Pro without Adobe Flash and it is not available through Apple App Store. I do a lot of banking on my computer and I've read that Adobe Flash has a lot of problems. I'm concerned it might affect the security of my computer. Am I the only one concerned about this?

    The only site you should download Flash from is the Adobe site otherwise you may subject your Mac to malware.
    Flash is not available from the App Store anyway.. it's written by Adobe. It's not an app, it's a plugin. Big difference.
    If you are having problems with Flash streamed content, do the following:
    Assuming you are using Safari for video, quit Safari.
    Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Storage tab. Click: Delete All
    Now uninstall the Flash plugin then reinstall new >  Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
    Very important to uninstall the currently installed Flash plugin first even if it's the most recent version.
    Launch Safari From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
    Now try a video.
    BTW... if you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
    And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to:  Open in 32 bit mode  is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.

  • Adobe Flash download blocked on Macbook Pro

    Macbook Pro Retina 15" running OSX 10.95.  Adobe Flash gets to the install point and is blocked because Flash wasn't downloaded from the App Store.  I've opened Safari>Preferences>Security>Manage Website preferences; I can't see anything that will allow or block Flash. "Allow plugins" is already clicked. Right now no versions of Flash are installed.

        System Preferences >  Flash Player > Advanced >  Delete  All
        Press the "Delete All" button.
        Install Adobe Flash Player.
        http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
       Download it first.
       The next step is important.
       Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
       Follow the prompts and install it.
       Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.

  • I am trying to experiment with Tweens and Easing Types in ActionScript 3.0, Adobe Flash CS4. help

    I am using ActionScript 3.0, Adobe Flash CS4 software
    I have created Tweens for some MovieClip properties and experimented with some of the easing types.
    This is what I have managed to create and works okay!
    grow_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, grow);
    shrink_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, shrink);
    rotate_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, rotate);
    hide_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, hideClip);
    show_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, showClip);
    fadeOut_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fadeOut);
    fadeIn_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,fadeIn);
    function grow(e:MouseEvent):void {
                    var scale1:Tween = new Tween(instrument, "scaleX", Back.easeIn, 0, 1, 3, true);
                    var scale2:Tween = new Tween(instrument, "scaleY", Back.easeIn, 0, 1, 3, true);
    function shrink(e:MouseEvent):void {
    var oneSmall:Tween = new Tween(instrument, "scaleX", Back.easeInOut, 0, -.2, 3, true);
    var twoSmall: Tween = new Tween(instrument, "scaleY", Back.easeInOut, 0, -.2, 3, true);
    function rotate(e:MouseEvent):void {
    var spin:Tween = new Tween(instrument, "rotation", Elastic.easeOut, 0, 360, 5, true)
    function hideClip(e:MouseEvent):void {
    instrument.visible = false;
    function showClip(e:MouseEvent):void {
    instrument.visible = true;
    function fadeOut(e:MouseEvent):void {
    var tweenfadeOut:Tween = new Tween(instrument, "alpha", None.easeOut, 1, -.1, 3, true);
    function fadeIn(e:MouseEvent):void {
    var tweenfadeIn:Tween = new Tween(instrument, "alpha", None.easeIn, 0, 1, 3, true);
    I am having trouble creating Tweens and add easing types for the action script below!
    I keep getting error message (“Access of undefined property Sine”) for example when I type
    function hideClip(e:MouseEvent):void {
    var noClip:Tween = new Tween(instrument, "visible", Sine.easeOut, 0, 1, 3, true);
    Can anyone help???? The original script is below
    hide_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, hideClip);
    show_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, showClip);
    function hideClip(e:MouseEvent):void {
    instrument.visible = false;
    function showClip(e:MouseEvent):void {
    instrument.visible = true;

    make sure you have imported the Sine class
    import fl.motion.Sine;

  • Adobe Flash download website is hosed?

    For some reason, my Flash update checker doesn't always work reliably or in a timely manner, so I regularly check for new versions of Flash by going into Control Panel > Flash Player > Advanced > Check Now.  It said that 10.3.183.10 was available.  I had 10.3.183.7.
    Ok, so I go into control panel and uninstall both the Active X and the plug-in and go to www.adobe.com, scroll down to "Download", and click "Adobe Flash", just like I've done dozens of times before, to get the new version.
    However, this time it is telling me that version 11.0.1.52 is available, and I get a "404 not found" when it tries to download.
    The same thing happens when I try to get the plug-in for Firefox while in Firefox.
    Now, I have no flash on this computer.  I'm XP SP3.
    What's going on?
    Thanks.

    I cannot tell you what's going on; my guess is that this is a little coordination problem due to the fact that Flash Player 11 is about to be released.
    As for now, I was successfully able to download Flash Player 11.0.1.152 from the standard download page.  I haven't tried to install it yet; I am waiting for all official download sites (at Adobe.com) to show version 11.0.1.152.
    For now I suggest that you download version 10.3.183.10 from the links in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/889580
    I will keep an eye on the situation, and publish update information when it becomes available.  I will also try to alert some people from the Adobe Flash Player team.
