Adobe installer wont connect

Hello,
I am having some trouble with the adobe installer. I open it and try to run it, but it won't load past the, "trying to connect to server" line. Which is only the first few percent of the loading bar. I have Norton internet security and I made sure that it is not blocking the installer. Also my internet connection is completely fine, so there should be no problem there either. Has anyone else experienced this problem? And if so please tell me how you fixed it.

1) Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
2) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.
3) Click on the below link and download Adobe application manager and install the same .
Once the installation process is completed, it will create Shortcut icon on Desktop.
Double click on it , it will start update process and it should get updated to Creative Cloud app.

  • Adobe installer wont initialize?

    So i was in the process of installing premiere pro when my brand new 2014 mac (2.5ghz quad core i7) crashed. i restarted the computer, and now the adobe installer fails to install (it  tries to initialize it, but fails every time. ive tried restarting and wiping pre existing files of adobe out, but it doesnt help.)

    It seems like that there are some files already available that are causing this issue to happen on your machine. Please try the following step and suggest if you need further guidance around this . (Please note that the below step would simply make rest of your Adobe programs not usable as well if you have anything installed. I am only suggesting this because it looks like its a brand new machine and nothing else has been installed on it).
    1) Navigate to /Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe and rename this folder to Adobe_Old
    2) Similarly rename the folder ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe to Adobe_old.
    3)Navigate to Application and check for any Adobe product (Premier pro) Listed there for you. If you have a line item available, please trash it.
    4) Navigate to Utilities and see if you have any Adobe Folder created there. Please trash them as well.
    Post the above steps, try the installation again and let us know if this works or not.

    I doubt that the W-4 has a submit button. If you are using Reader XI (actually the topic of the Reader forum, not this one), you should be able to save it and then print and deliver. If it is set to be submitted by the browser, then it may be your Reader and the browser are not talking properly. If there is a generic URL that you can provide that has the W-4, we might be able to give you more info. A lot depends on what your particular form looks like. Hand carrying it should always be an option.

    Jonp52000428 do you receive any specific error messages when attempting to install Creative Suite 6 Design Premium?  For information on how to locate and interpret the installation log files please see Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC.  You are welcome to post any specific error messages you discover.

    You will need to boot from some alternate boot device to accomplish this, if you did not initialize the drive before installing it.
    If you have another Mac, you may be able to use FireWire target disk mode.
    If your MacBook has a DVD reader and you have a Mac OS X Installer/Utilities DVD, such as the one that shipped with it, you can boot from that DVD, answer only the "what Language" question, and wait a quarter minute for the MenuBar to be drawn. Then examine the Utilities menu or the Installer menu and Find Disk Utility.

    Problem:
    iPod < USB > PC
    Result ? no reaction from both devices !
    I reinstalled EVERYTHING from APPLE on my PC and installed again - same problem
    I restored my iPod Touch 2G - same problem
    I installed a USB-Manager which shows which devices are connected - iPod isnt in the list.
    On a Apple Mac it functioning perfect without any problems !
    On a PC it is almost everytime no reaction from both sides ! I tried on different PCs and its from the most PCs the same problem. I gave my iPod onetime to my friend and he had to connect the iPod more than 30-times that the iPod connects to the PC !
    On my PC i tried so much and i am freaking out onetime. Its so frustrated !
    Links like these from Apple are not the solution because i followed them and I had the same problem.
    By the way: Apple Support should be for EVERYONE and shouldnt depend on the S/N from the Device !
    Back to the topic ..
    I had onetime a older PC which was running with Windows XP SP3.
    iPod was able to connect with the PC.. but on my new PC it wont connect !
    It makes me mad this problem !
    Please help .. I am not the only one who need the solution for that.

    Thank you for your question. iOS 7 requires iTunes 11.1.  First, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.

    If you continue to get the message that iTunes is up to date, you can download the latest version of iTunes here:

    Once the file downloads, double click on the installation file that downloaded to initiate the installation.

  • Adobe Speedgrade wont open!

    Adobe Speedgrade wont open! All I get is to the splash screen and then nothing but a grayed out window. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program with no luck. Is this happening to anyone else?

    Would help to have a clue about your situation ... so the basic details of OS/CPU/RAM/GPU/vRAM, and the exact version you are running of Sg would be of use. As to version, build numbers are preferable, lower left corner of the "About" screen, you might have to scroll down to get to it. Will be something like 7.2 or the current 8.2x51.
    Next ... uninstalling the Adobe programs with the system OS tools isn't often useful. Adobe has their "CC Cleaner Application" ...

    Which deletes also some of the preference & startup files that system uninstallers typically don't touch.
    Also, holding alt/shift down while starting your program might be able to bypass a file that could be causing the problem, forcing Sg to create a new one.

  • Adobe installer message...all the time?

    Hi all,
    I'm using Acrobat 7.0 Standard on XP SP2. Recently I ran some Windows updates, and ever since EVERY time I start any office program, internet explorer or windows explorer, I get the Adobe installer window popping up...it runs a quick routine and then exits.
    I think this is connected to the PDF toolbar, because if I turn off the toolbar in any program, when I restart, the installer runs, and the toolbar is back again. If the installer is connected to the toolbar, then I don't understand why it should run if the toolbar is visible?
    Can anyone suggest what might be causing this, and what I can do to stop it...it is very annoying!!!

    Don't know for sure. Anyway, at least try to disable auto updates in the Acrobat preferences to see if that resolves the issue.
