Thank you for your question. iOS 7 requires iTunes 11.1. First, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

Im trying to restore my iphone 3G, i used itunes to restore it so it downloaded the iOS, after that it gives me the error 1015, when i read about the error then it tells me that i was downgrading, but how come since i used itunes to restore? why didnt it automatically provide me with the latest software made perfectly for the iPhone?

not sure where the problem lies but have tried uninstalling itunes and its apps reinstalling latest version but it is the same i can view my iphone as soon as its plugged in via usb when i got to edit music to sync it all appears fine but when i click apply it appears to start syncing for 1sec and then stops with no error messages but my phone remains the same also it wouldn't want to backup either.
so iv tried another pc with itunes and can backup fine but however since updating IOS 7.1 and itunes not letting me backup before i now have lost my apps.
they apper in itunes but it wont sync them back on and my old update from jan can not be found so i checked the directory C:\Users\####\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup ---and re added the old backup only to find it wont show it so stuck in same boat Has anyone had this problem and know a solution please help................also must mention i have never had trouble that i couldn't fix on itunes but all of this has started since i have been using icloud for basic backups hope this helps solve problem

For some reason when I go to update my old itunes version (10.6.3) it wont let me get the new itunes11. I need a newer version of itunes but when I go on my computer to download and get things updated it says it has no new updates. I now have a new phone, since my iphone4 broke and I cant use it because everything it outdated and now I don't know how to update anything. It's taking me all day just to get a working phone!!!

Why can't I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1? Every time I try it gets all the way done downloading it; however when it's processing the file the page tells me "There is a problem downloading the software for the iPhone. Network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active. or try again later." and next to the file it has err = -3259. I have tried this 17 times and it won't work. My iTunes is completely up to date. I have made sure that my connection is fine and I have tried turning my firewall off with no avail. This has happened to me before but usually the update will go through after 2-3 tries, never to this extent. I don't know what to do. Help!

Hi guys.Got a problem with my iPhone 5. I bought it in a shop 4 month ago. After I got a visitor with iOS 7 on his phone he would like to charge his phone with my Laptop and cable.But when he plugged it in it showed a message wich says: " This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this phone".
How is this possible? I then phoned the shop and told them my problem. When I gave them the details I also found out that the imei No. in the iPhone is the same as on the original box. But the the Serial numbers are different. I already try the support centre but I’m over the 90 days.And there is no Apple Store in Namibia. I hope someone can help me here. Just downloaded the new OS for IPhone. Despise the appearance. It has jacked with the way I like things in some unacceptable ways. Is there any way to keep the OS, but return to the old appearance? Important to know BEFORE I download OS for computer.
I know I am responding to my own thread, but I an SOOOO disgusted with Apple right now.
The new iOS 7 was the lead story on CNN today... and it wasn't positive. Easy to see why, it's a graphics disaster. It is ugly, difficult to read, doesn't interface aesthetically with the iPhone 4S, and gives everyone in America vertigo. Either fix the appearance, or find some way to allow us to roll back to our previous iOS. Do so quickly, or this life-long Apple customer [circa 1978] will be moving on. If this represents shades of what is coming with OS Maverick, I am petrified. Further, I am a GM of a chain of newspapers and websites in the Austin, Texas area. I will be ripping out a scathing editorial. The notion that we can't roll back from something millions of us hate is despicable. I'm giving you one week. Be sure I am not alone. -

If I understand the issue correctly, you have recently purchased a used iPhone and you do not see your Apple TV in the control center in order to AirPlay. To troubleshoot this issue please follow the steps outlined below.
Try these steps first
Make sure that you have the latest software on your iOS device and Apple TV.
Make sure that both devices have Wi-Fi turned on.
On your iOS device, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
On your Apple TV, go to Settings > General > Network.
If you're trying to use peer-to-peer AirPlay, make sure that both devices have Bluetooth turned on.
On your iOS device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
On your Apple TV, go to Settings > General > Bluetooth.
If you don't see AirPlay in Control Center
When an AirPlay-enabled device is available, you'll see AirPlay in Control Center on your iOS device.
If you don't, try these steps:
Restart your iOS device and Apple TV.
Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network.
On your iOS device, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
On your Apple TV, go to Settings > General > Network. If your Apple TV is connected using Ethernet, make sure that it’s plugged in to the router you're using for Wi-Fi.
On your Apple TV, make sure that AirPlay is turned on. Go to Settings > AirPlay.

I have an ipad (IOS 7.1) and downloaded latest version of itunes (11.1.5.5) and downloaded itools (1.8.2.8) but my Itools does not work and message that your itools is not compatible with itunes so please want your comment for that.

I downloaded ios7 after being asked to restore. But now my phone wont connect to the activation server and is asking to restore again but I cant because itunes does not show any of my phone information (it just shows a blank white screen with "iphone" in the centre".
I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

I rarely use my mac to sync....its all wifi sync for the last 2 years....never had this issue before... and i know it began with iOS7.... here is why....
My iPhone was at home when I updated to iOS7 connected to wifi...but it logged Data Usage to Rogers Wireless (700MB approx)...data will never do an update over 50mb in app store (it gives the warning to use wifi) I play a lot of games and pay for them so I always update through App Store. 2 weeks later, simposons halloween update (650mb)...at home, using wifi.
Rogers told me there was 700+mb data usage on the day of update and 650+mb data on oct 1.st (tapped out).
Went over my 6GB plan and paid the fees.
This has never happened before...It must come to apples attention by now... -

Have just returned home from abroad where my iphone 4 worked perfectly.
Now at home it wont receive wifi. It picks up the signal which shows in phones display but cant connect to the internet. Computers and ipod all working fine so I assume it must be a problem with the phone.
