Does the Adobe Photoshop license allow thinapping the software?  If so can the software be thinapped?

Chances are that no fellow user here on the forum is going to be able to help you.
You really need to contact Adobe Customer Support for activation issues.
Some people - and I'm not saying this has necessarily happened to you - have been bitten by scams where they bought counterfeit software and originally got bogus serial numbers which worked at the time, but have since been blacklisted by Adobe.  I sincerely hope this is not what happened to you.
Good luck with Adobe Customer Support.  I've always found them helpful with regard to activation issues.

  • License code error in Adobe Photoshop Elemens 7

    Hi,
    I've bought a new PC, and I have an OEM license for Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 from my old Packard Bell computer. I have retrieved the license code from Adobe, as I registered the software, so the code is valid, but I have downloaded the Photoshop Elements 7 english version from Adobe download and the software is not able to validate my code, returning invalid code.
    Do anyone know why the license code retrieved from Adobe is not valid in the software downloaded? Could it be a language issue? My OEM license is for the spanish version, but I have downloaded th english one, because the spanish version is not available.

    Thank you for your quick answer. I checked each point and I guess the problem is the installation method: "Make sure that your installation method matches your serial number."
    I don't have any media provided by Packard Bell with the installer for the application, so I don't know how to install it if I can't use the downloaded version. Any idea?

  • Adobe Photoshop CC useless and licensing not working

    I am so beyond fed up at this moment. I took the time and this year decided to make sure all my products is licensed so I signed up for Adobe photoshop CC and lightroom. But the support and the working has been shocking.
    I've got so many issues and none are being resolved:
    1) When I start photoshop it counts down the trial (only 13 days left) I press license and it tell me it need to sign in, so one of two things happen:
    2) It either signs in but then immediately tells me I've been signed out to try again, and keep doing that OR
    3) It signs in and then tell me to enter a serial number which I dont have - its CC duh!!
    4) So then I try contacting support and there is NO RESPONSE!!!!!!!!!!
    5) I havent even downloaded lightroom yet - dont know where
    6) Photoshop keeps hanging! the trial of the old CS6 never hang, I've got 16gb ram, loads anloads of space and none of my graphics programmes have EVER had a problem. Its beyond irritating to have to close CC and loose an edit

  • How do I reinstall Adobe Photoshop CS4 - I receive error 6 stating that licensing for this product has stopped working.

    I previously installed Adobe Photoshop CS4 on my Macbook Pro. My hard drive crashed, and I had to get a new hard drive replaced. Now upon trying to reinstall CS4 from a backup copy CD (with licensing, serial number available), I receive an error 6 stating that the "licensing for this product has stopped working".     I have bought Adobe Photoshop CS4 (box, license for 3 computers) in 2009. I've used it on two computers with activation, but one computer had formating, and second I've lost. I don't know how to 'unactivate' them now, and when I trying to activate product on my actual computer - it says that all license keys are in use. I have whole box and papers, even facture as a proof for purchase. What I should do?

  • Downloading Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended License with no internet connection

    My office needs to purchase four (4) Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Licenses for four separate/independent computers.  These computers in no way can access the internet to download.
    I am told by resellers that CD disks are not available for the download, is this correct?
    Also, the resellers are telling me that I can purchase a media kit for the download.  My question is can 1 media kit complete all four downloads or would I be required to purchase 4 media kits.  We are receiving different responses from the resellers we have contacted.

    You can download and burn the trial of Photoshop CS6 to disc or you can purchase one physical copy of the software.  The installer does not count how many times you install.  The serial number you receive with your purchase is what allows you to license and utilize your software.

    Downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS4 trial version yesterday(5/22) and install it today 5/23 on a new PC. When I tried to open it, it says license expired...anyone know why?  I have uninstalled and re-installed and it says the same thing.

    In general when you change between Windows and Mac you should budget for re-buying all software, though you can be lucky with some.

    If you do not have it on disc, then download it, install it, and activate it with your serial numnber.  If you need to download it, if you purchased it online thru Adobe look for a link in your Adobe account online.  You can also download the trial version and activate it with your serial number...

    If you wish to purchase a volume license for Photoshop Elements then I would encourage you to contact Adobe directly or an authorized volume license reseller.  The copy you received from Best Buy is likely a retail version suitable for use by one individual to utilize on up to two computers.

    Has you contacted the seller through its Customer Service?
    If that is the case and Customer Service has no idea of what you were given as a Product Key and how to use it, have you considered asking

    Your serial number is for version 5 and not for Lightroom 6. If will install LR 6 you have to buy a update and the you get a new serial number.
