ADR updates disappear

We are running an ADR of the malicious software removal tool. The rule checks every 7 days for new updates (I know they only come out patch Tuesday, but we figured there was no harm in running it more frequently.) The problem is that for some
reason, it removes the expired content from the deployment package and distribution point prior to downloading the new updates (which has yet to be successful.) It actually causes an error stating the source folder for this deployment could not
be found and makes the deployment completely fail. I then have to manually download the MSRT, point the ADR to a new source, and let it do it's thing with the update group.
My understanding of what should happen is the rule runs, new content is discovered, downloaded, put into the software update group, and deployed. For some reason, though, it is removing the source content package. It actually removes the folder
itself from the deployment share when it detects the previous MSRT as expired, and then it has no place to put the newly detected updates. Is this expected behavior? Am I doing something wrong?

Adobe CC Updated disappears, if it loose the focus!

Hi!
I updated the Adobe CC Updater, but I've still this issue:
If the Adobe Updater loose the focus, it disappears. Then I've to open it again via the Systray.
That is a little bit annoying, especially if you want just to use your password manager to login again, as the updater continues to forget the login credentials.
Could you please disable this "feature", that the Adobe CC Updater disappears, if it loose the focus?
The only positive thing is: It really just disappears and does not close! So the entered information are still there, but the window is not available until you reopen it. But still it's a little bit annoying!

Deploy SCCM 2012 Monthly updates (not with ADR), updates get expired

Hi,
I’m looking howto use monthly updates in SCCM 2012 R2. This post is showing howto with automatic deployment rules (ADR), but I’d need to do this without ADR.

What I do:
1.filter on updates I need
2.add them to an update group
3.distribute these updates as mandatory to our default windows 7 collection
Now everything works fine until some updates in the update group get expired. Then no updates are distributed anymore. Please advise.

Leave the expired updates and group the remaining updates (create software group fo these) and deploy to your clients.
Search the updates in sccm console: Add criteria: Expired NO

SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 - ADR Update 2K12R2

Hello,
I've some problems with update ADR (Full update 2K12R2 server).
So far everything worked perfectly but since a few days, the first 15 updates are installed correctly and then nothing ..
I inspected the logs and saw nothing unusual.
Any ideas ?

Updates disappeared from AM

Dear All,
I updated all of my cloud apps a few days ago and now a whole new series appeared for updates, 12 in all. I updated 4 of the 12 new updates and was working on the 5th when I had to stop. I turned off the computer and now when I turned it on again and try to get the updates, AM shows them all as being downloaded and updated to current status except for SpeedGrade which gives me an update failure and an error code of U44MI(210). What gives? I don't think those other 8 updates downloaded themselves with the computer turned off! Anyone else have a problem with disappearing updates? I can wait for SpeedGrade to correct itself because I don't use it too much anyway, but I'll take suggestions on solving the problem.

I am bit confused if you indeed have a wireless router, why can't you just permantly move it. that's what I did. you can access internet on your computer and other devices just the same, it's just a patchwork job until apple fixes this problem with a new update. as of yet It is neccessary to keep it connected in order to stream. the reason your having these problems is because your router is too far from your atv. it may establish a connection, but it won't maintain it unless router is connected to atv by cable. until new updates be prepared to be incovenienced.

BBM Recent Updates Disappeared!

I have a Curve 9300 and the Recent Updates box disappeared...I have done a restart and removed the battery, but it hasn't come back. Is there any way to reactivate it?

When you clear all the Recent updates it removes it from your BBM Until someone makes a new update.
(it should come back if one of your contacts makes a update to there BBM such as changes the Display picture Etc.)

10.8.2 update disappeared from software update, help?!

Yesterday tried to download it and got an error, today tried again and error again. Then i google it up how to clean updates folder from library and download begin again after another error i restarted and since then there is only iphoto update availible and not the 10.8.2. I've cheched system is still 10.8.1.

I simply cannot update. Even if i try to manually download update combo or the regular one the download doesnt finish. Once reach 291mb or 570mb and no matter what i try i cannot get it to the end. Getting really ****** of

Updates disappear after restart

After updating Premiere CC to Premier CC 2014 through Creative Cloud I spent a whole day editing various projects and saving them in the updated version. Today I get back to opening Premiere and it seems to have reverted back to the old version and I cant open any of the projects I worked on yesterday. In creative cloud it says that everything is up to date so I can't even run the update again!
Has anyone experienced similar issues?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Mac Os X update disappearing navigation menu on IWeb

After updating Mac Os X to 10.5.6 I was working in IWeb...doing the same stuff I do everyday.
Attempted to "publish to folder"...said I had an publishing error. Never done this before.
Then, I noticed that the 3 pages that I had worked on...all had the navigation menu at the top of the page missing.
I did nothing related to the navigation menu.
Any insight and wisdom out there?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Log into another account on your Mac and see if the problem persists. You may have to copy the domain file from your account (User/Library/Application Support/iWeb) to the Shared folder in order to get it to the other account. Then move it to the desktop in the other account and double click on it to open with iWeb. If you get the same problem in the other account than a reinstall of iWeb is indicated. To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iWeb" in the file name that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder. Then reinstall from the disk it came on, run the latest update, repair disk permissions and reboot.

10.1 update disappeared

I received a notification that the 10.1 update was available for my Z10. I clicked the option to install the update but received a message saying that I have the most current version. I do not! I have 10.0.9.422. I then tried to update via Blackberry Link. It too showed the update was available but when I went to install it later, the update was gone. On the Crackberry forum, several other Verizon users are experiencing the same thing. How can we "re-set" the phone to get the update? Thanks

Yesterday afternoon, i checked to see if they had updated to 10.1. I had not recieved any prior notification, but when I checked it said that 10.1 was available. I immediately downloaded and installed it...successfully.
Now FINALLY, with Blackberry Link v1.1.1.26 and Finally the Z10 OS v10.1, Two way Sync with Qutlook Finally Works!!!!!!!
It has taken this long ...9 months since the release of the z10, to finally get the capabilities restored that we had on our prior Blackberry devices.

I solved this by clicking the 3 horizontal bars (Open Menu) at top right of screen, then clicked "Menu Bar" in the options shown. Suddenly my toolbar and task bar appeared on the screen and stayed.

ADR update from 3.0 to 3.1 issue

I have Apple Remote Desktop 3.0 and have installed it onto my G4 laptop, running OS X 10.4.10. In order to install it, I had to uninstall the client from the laptop first. I followed the detailed instructions at....

I was successful in the install of 3.0 and yes the program opens, and I can administer one of my servers remotely with ARD 3.0.
Problem I am having, is that if I do the update to 3.1, when I start ARD after the update, it attempts to start up, but then it stops and quits out of itself. Does not even leave me in a state of limbo, just shuts down. I have installed the ARD 3.0 on anther machine of mine (one I did not need to uninstall first) and it updated with out a hitch to 3.1 and is working fine.
Have I removed too much stuff, when I followed the instructions on the LINK above using Terminal or can anyone think of something else that is preventing 3.0 going to 3.1.

Alas!
I was going through iTunes. iTunes kept telling me that I still had 6.0 and to update.
I disconnected the ipod touch.
When I looked at the settings > about, it said I had 6.1...what!?
Now when I reconnected, it was all okay.
It seems that after the update, the iPod does not tell iTunes in is updated...until you disconnect and reconnect.
tiny bug...but annoying.

Where have my ongoing updates disappeared to?

I was downloading an update to the sims freeplay world, when i had to leave for some work so I paused the download and turned off the computer. On my return, the downloads would not restart automatically. In fact, the app update was not there in my downloads queue at all! On searching the computer, i found the file in my itunes media folder, but i cannot resume the download in itunes. What should i do?

Why did my available app update disappear from the app store

A few weeks ago, I had an update available for one of my iphone apps that I chose not to download since it was said to have bugs. As a result, I had an outstanding badge app icon. Just today I realized that the alert was missing. At first I thought I might have accidentally updated the app when I synced my phone last, but when I search for the app in the app store, it still gives me the option to update (I've included a screen shot below). It just no longer shows an available update under the update tab (see second screen shot) It's not a huge deal at the moment since I don't want to install this update, but I'm afraid the problem might continue with future updates I want to install. Any ideas? I restored my phone from an icloud backup a few days ago, but once the restore was complete, the update alert still showed correctly, so I don't think that's the problem.

It's good to know I'm not the only one with this problem. I had noticed the issue with my downloaded apps displaying the price, but I thought maybe it's always been that way since I never install apps through iTunes on my computer, just my phone. My husband's computer is doing the same thing, but he didn't have any outstanding updates on his phone, so I'm not sure whether his phone is having the same issue. My guess is that if other people are having this problem, they don't have any outstanding updates, so they aren't aware of it. I know many people who make a habit of not updating apps have jailbroken devices and can install an app that hides the badge app icon. I guess for now we need to wait it out and see if the problem fixes itself. It's still annoying though.
P.S.- I just noticed that on my phone if I search for a previously installed app, it just shows the price instead of giving me the option to "Install". I can reinstall it by brining it up in the list of purchased apps, so it's just when searching for the app. Also if I search for a currently installed app, it says "open" instead of showing the price, so it's only with previously intalled apps. Whatever the issue, I hope it's fixed soon.

Has half of my Black update disappeared???

I updated to Black yesterday, i was using double tap to wake screen and the Settings/About screen was showing Black instead of Amber.
I turn my phone off at night, and when i turned it back on, double tap option is just gone from settings and not working, and the Settings/About tab doesn't show Black OR Amber!
Any ideas what has happened???

You sure you are looking in the right place? The screen is in Settings > extras+info and not Settings > about ..
