Advance input tax

Dear All,
In the Advance tax report for input tax, (S_ALR_87012357), in case of LST, the base amount,  input tax amount and  gross amount is not coming properly. The VAT amount is coming in the base amt column, Surcharge in tax amount and total of vat and surcharge and input tax is coming as gross amount. Eg:-
GR/IR -Rs 14000 and
VAT-Rs56 (4%) and
surcharge- Rs2.8.
The Base amt is coming as Rs56 , Input tax amount as 58.8 and  gross amount as Rs104.8( Rs56+Rs58.8).
But in the same report CSt is coming  report is displaying the correct amount.
Please suggest.

Hi,
Depending on the type of taxes, there could be some configuration associated with that report.

  • Travel management: Input tax for each travel expense

    Dear forumers,
I've got the following problem with input tax.
I activated input tax for my country variant in Customizing IMG Global settings for each trip provision variant, second option "Input tax per trip expense type".
I also put the tax code to each travel expense which should be taxed.
But still amounts are not posted in FI with input tax codes.
When I tested the situation in Testing system, everything worked fine. Then I did the same customizing in Development in order to transfer to Production system and copied requests to Testing. And from that moment, amounts are posted to FI without taxation even in Testing system. Don't know, what went wrong 'cause everywhere I did the same manipulations.
Can anyone help me to solve the problem?
    Best regards,
    Eldar.

    Hi
what is the rule in schema?
i had similiar problem,  i.e. the tax code is not updated in the FI document.
can you advice what might go wrong?
      thanks in advance!

  • Input Tax  - difference between sap version 4.7 and version 5

    Hi All
I done total customising of input tax on sap version 4.7 as well as version 5.
now I want to enter following invoice through t.code F-43:-
       Raw Material Cost                           50,000.00
    Add:-  Excise                                       8,000.00
    Add:-  E.Cess                                          240.00
    Add:-  Vat                                             2329.60
So we are to pay to vendor Rs. 60,569.60.
Now when use sap version 4.7 & run t.code F-43, then if I enter Rs. 60,569.60 against g.l of vendor & purchase, then system accept it.
But when I use sap version 5 & run t.code F-43, then I have to enter Rs. 60,569.60 against g.l of vendor & Rs. 50,000 against g.l of purchase, then only system accept the entry.

  • FF753 - Apply an Expense Provision with Input Tax NVV

    Good afternoon all,
My problem is that my client has firstly posted an expense provision: Expense (40) <===> (39 CME) Vendor
After that, the user wants to apply this provision and consider tax code N4 (Input Tax NVV: Non-deduct.Input Tax - 8%). Due to that, this tax code will not have posting position (Table T030K empty). The future posting should be something like this: (29 CME) Vendor <==> (31) Vendor
Both accounts have been customized with Tax category no blank.
    We get the error FF753.
We have try to set this message like warning and we get the posting but if we run the Spanish VAT report S_ALR_87009895 (Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases) we do not get any VAT information related. We have only this problem with Input Tax NVV.
    Any idea?
    Please let me know.
    Thank you a lot. Regards,
    Daniel

Issue is resolved ... I misunderstood the logic. Tax Code is linked to a GL account. And when I run PRRW, I see the relevant Tax amount in against the trip

  • Incorrect field KNA1-STCEG in output list for input tax Line items-RFUMSV00

    Hi all,
I found the incorrect field in RFUMSV00 - Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases. If you want to configure the output list for Input tax: Line items, there is the field VAT Registration No. which has to be LFA1-STCEG, but there is incorrect field KNA1-STCEG. After that I cannot find the values for this field in my output.
In the output list for Output tax: Line items there is correct field in configuration /LFA1-STCEG/.
I tried to find some SAP notes but without avail.
    Thanks for help.

  • Non deductible input tax

    Hi Gurus,
We have non-deductible input tax codes with the process NVV in our system. The process permit the distribution to relevant expense/revenue items.
We also need to have the value of the net amount and the non-deductible amount in the items but we don't find the way to implement it.
    Could anyone help us ?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
    Chris.

    HI,
We use NVV with posting indicator filled with 3 because we need to have the non-deductible amount distibuted in the expenses items. But we need to see also the net amount.
In fact, what should be interesting for us wold be a tax code with the process NAV where the GL account is the expenses GL account.
    See an example below :
    Customer : 1196 Eu
    Expenses GL account 1000
    Expenses GL account 174,44
    VAT GL account 21,56

  • When creating a travel expense, an incorrect input tax code is defaulted

    Dear experts,
I'm new with SAP customizing in Travel Management. I have an issue that I cannot solve and I've tried almost all possibilities. When an employee tries to create a travel expense in PR05, him being from Belgium, the default input tax code for any expense type is, for example V3. This code exists in FI and will be transferred correct into accounting. But, if the employee wants to change the the country key in the field Country of Receipt (found in additional info section), anything other than the domestic country (BE) will automatically change the input tax from V3 to V0, which we don't even have in FI.
    I tried the following:
    - checked under global settings and for Belgian trip provision variant there was always Input Tax per Travel Expense Type flagged and V3 with cocd BE;
    - checked each and every expense type for the default input tax and all have V3.
I had to create a country grouping EU for all European Countries. All maximum rates for different expense types have been defined using this EU code. Might it be this grouping?
Any new expense type, similar to any of the ones I have problems with, will keep the default V3 tax code no matter if I change the country of receipt.
    Thank you in advance guys,

No need anymore for an answer, I found out what I was looking for under Define Country-Dependent Default Values for Expense Types

  • How to input Projects for Input Tax in AP Invoice

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to maintain a Balance Sheet wherein for each account I have to state the corresponding Project Code. When creating an AP Invoice, the Input Tax Account does not automatically carries the Project Code with it. I already encode the Project Code in Row details as well as in Accounting Tab of the AP Invoice. Still, the automatic tax code does not show the Project Code in the Journal Entry Preview.
Can you help me with this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Arlene

    hi
    check bellow query
    SELECT T1.[AcctName],(sum(T0.[Debit])-sum(T0.[Credit])) "Cumulative Balances",T0.[Project] FROM JDT1 T0  INNER JOIN OACT T1 ON T0.Account = T1.AcctCode WHERE T1.[AcctName] =[%0] AND T0.[refdate] >= [%1]  AND T0.[refdate] <= [%2] GROUP BY T0.[Project],T1.[AcctName]
the above query output balance is not  assigned any project then open GL Account and update it

  • Vendor down payment with input tax

    Dear Expert
    My client receieves down payment with input tax, to meet their legal requirement for VAT filing, they have to book entries as below;
When receieving down payment with input tax:
    Dr. Down payment
          Input tax
      Cr. Bank
When receiveing vendor invoice for remaining AP amount:
    Dr. Expense
          Input tax
      Cr. AP (remaining amount)
Then clear down payment by expense
    Dr. Expense
      Cr. Down payment
They do in this way, because input tax in down payment and input tax in remaining AP invoice should be listed as two items in their VAT report. And intput tax in down payment document is with reference field which is different from reference field in remaining AP invoice, and reference field is also one mandatory field in VAT report.
In this case, I can not use SAP standard T-code F-54 to clear down payment. But when I tried to create a manual JV to post entry with Dr. Expense and Cr. Down payment, it's OK, but then when I used F-44 to manully clear down payment doc by manual JV, I got problem because the amount in down payment is down payment amount + input tax amount, but the amount in manual JV is only down payment.
    Does someone have a solution?
    Thanks,
    Nicole

    Nicole,
Which country is this requirement for?  As far as I know, there is no tax incidence on downpayment.  Input tax arises only when you receive the invoice, right?  Not when you receive a downpayment.

  • Posting Vendor Downpayment requests with input tax

    Hi Gurus,
I am trying to configure the down payment request for Vendor Payments, I want these down payment request to be posted so I un flagged the Noted Items check box and flagged the check box Commitments warnings check box and also I entered the Account determination key for Input tax clearing. Alternative GL account is defined to allow the Input Tax.
Now the problem is, when I try to post the Down payment request document with input tax I get an error message stating that "Down pmnts with taxes are not permitted when processing with jur.code".  Actually the input tax is being assigned automatically even if I don’t use a tax code.
So, can any one help me to understand what am I missing in my configuration or is it some thing which cannot be processed using F-47.
Oh by the way I am using the Special GL indication F (down payment request).
    Thanks
    Shilpa
