Advise on using access methods

I have defined a class which looks like this

I have a requirement to display all the orders including the details for a customer,
Should I write a program which gets all the orders and then loop thru the orders and get the order details or write one sql which gets me all the data at once and populate the classes from there

No, I think you're actually following a J2EE pattern. I believe the correct name is "Session Facade". The idea is to give clients coarse-grained access to data.
It's well known that the "one entity EJB per database row" analogy breaks down because it requires too many network roundtrips to fetch a collection of objects, so it's considered a best practice to fetch related objects at once.

Frontend Printing Using Access Method G - Properties
I am looking for some light on Frontend printing using access method G. I am using ERP 4.7 on Windows 2000 and SQL 2000. We are using access method G to print and when users get the pop up dialog to print, the properties and the cancel options are grayed out. The printers are already define in all of our SAP systems. We are using the latest Kernel 640 and patch level 247 as well as sapgui 7.10 with patch 15.

hello,
i am using access method G,its working fine users are able to get the print outs , but the issue is in the windows selection box only ALL is highligted and they are not able to select the page numbers its disabled.
and one more issue is we have 2 printers one head office and site office.In head office printer they are able to take the print out along with their company logo but in the site office with same configuration and same kind printer logo is not being displayed .
kindly suggest me for these issues.

DivyaUsually this means, that some necessary controls are not properly registered in the registry and hence can't be found. You may solve that by removing the SAPGUI from the PC completely, booting the machine and reinstall the GUI.

Can't printing in front-end when implement LOCL access method 'G'
We are implementing ECC5.0 and print Purchase Order in normal status.But in recent,user print PO by long printer name with some trouble.So we check the notes,and it recommand us to implement access method 'G'.It seems every thing is OK on front-end printing.Still not work for printing PO on front-end output immediate.If we choose short printer name and access method 'F',it work fine.But SAP will no longer develop method 'F'.Please advise it.
SAP PO is using background printing. SAP frontend print doesn't support background printing.
As per SAP Frontend document, You cannot perform front-end printing in the background, as there is not connection to the front end.
For this, you need to configure network printer.

How use the method hasPermission in weblogic server 6.1

In my application web ,i restrict access to some ressources (some jsp)
to some specified groups .
So,i create permissions in the file web.xml , as indicated in the doc
6.0 .
For example only the user : system can access to all the jsp , and the
others users no .
Now ,in my code ,I would like to use the method hasPermission in order
to modify my application according to the differents groups of users .
But my problem is that i don't know the parameter aclName !
For the parameter permission I use the syntax "new
weblogic.security.acl.PermissionImpl(".../x.jsp") .
For the parameter sep (char),i use : '.' .
But i don't find the parameter aclName .
When i was in weblogic 5.1 ,i created permission in the file
weblogicURL.policy with the syntax : " Permission
weblogic.security.acl.URLAcl "weblogic.url",".../x.jsp" " and after
i gave "weblogic.url" as parameter for aclName .
But in version 6.0, I try web.xml, web ? but nothing is good .
Is there any person which have an idea or the solution ?

You can map the role 'super-user' to an individual principal or a
user group in weblogic.xml. In that case only users that are in
the mapped group/principal will see the 'creation' link. So simply
add user 'system' to a group 'super-user'.

When I launched itunes on my new computer, I plugged my phone into it and turned on imatch. So now my library on my new computer is filled with music files. I am pretty sure that these files are not permanent and that they are only there because of icloud and imatch. I want the files to be permanent so I thought it would be best to use the method described above to transfer files with an external hard drive.

Great question. The current configuration you have can potentially be permanent as you want. You simply have to download all of the iTunes Match songs to the computer using the cloud download icon:

Can i use 2 methods to deploy icon files in Oracle IDS?
Dear all,
I'm using Oracle 9IDS(Forms) and i'm trying to use 2 methods to deploy icon file:
-In development phase, i use defaul.icon.path and defaul.icon.extension in registry.dat file and imagebase=documentbase. My icon are well deploy when i run application from form builder.
-In deployment phase, on the same plateform, i use jar file following these steps:
1- I store jar file in same directory with all runtime files(fmx, mmx, etc.)
2- i create a virtual path(/forms90/Tel/) to map with this directory
3- in formsweb.cfg, i put the following line:

imagebase=codebase
archive_jini=f90all_jinit.jar,/forms90/Tel/images.jar
When i call my application directly (http://localhost:8889/forms90/f90servlet?config=myapp),
icons don't appear.
I would like to know, what's wrong?It's possible to use theses both methods for deploy icons on the same plateform?

Icon don't appear at runtine while other gif files(splashscreen,logo) appear.Notice these others gif files are compressed in the same jar file. Notice also, that when i use default.icon.path parameter in registry.dat file, icons are well deployed.

Error accessing method in 3rd party dll
already asked for help a few weeks ago but no one answered and i still wasn't able to figure out what the problem...
i have a 3rd party dll and im trying to access some methods (USING JNI)- i have no problem accessing methods with no parameters and they work fine but a method with parameters just wwont work.
i guess that its something with my syntax - probably incorrect data type when converting from java type to native type...
i dont have any previous expirience with c so help would be appriciated...

Front - end print with new access method G - having issues for some users

Recently we have implemented the new access method G for front-end printing. it is working fine for 90% users in our company. but some users having problems in printing to WINDEFAULT using this new method.

How to use mailForm methode (javascript) in adobe reader 9.3?
Hi! I want to know if it exist a way to use the mailForm method (this is javascript) in adobe reader 9.3?
Or, are there any equivalent method? I want to send by email a FDF with my PDF.
When I run my javascript, I got the following error: "NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.

Error in parallel exp-imp using ftp method
Hi,
We are doing migration of ERP system running on redhat linux 6 and sybase 15.7 .
Trying to do parallel export import using ftp method.
Here when we start the export monitor, it gives the below error.
Required system resources are missing or not available:
Structure of subdirectories in local export directory '/export/TRS_Mock_Export/ABAP' and FTP export directory '/usr/sap/TRQ/DVEBMGS00/TRS_Mock_Export/ABAP' on '<ip>' server is different.
But the structure is entirely same.
Even we have moved the export directory which got created after sapinst was run (before starting migmon) to the target server.

ftp is working.
in the properties file for ftp user earlier gave a different user.
Now gave sidadm and this error is resolved.
Now facing a different issue.
In the properties file we gave 'server' in the beginning . This is only starting R3load processes but ftp transfer does not start.

when I run this jsp , it appears the error wirtten "isTimeSet has protected access in java.util.Calendar"The only way to access a protected variable is to subclass.
MyCalendar extends Calendar
but I doubt you need to do this. If you only want to tell if a Calendar object has a time associated with it, try using
cal.isSet( Calendar.HOUR ); -
Can I use object methods in a class
I have a class ball and I am in the process of creating it's move method. I want this method to make the ball move depending on certain factors.
One of these factors being where a bar has been stopped. I have a bar class which extends JProgressBar and when stopped, produces a number. I want this number to be available to my ball class in some way so it can use it to determine how far the ball has to move. The number can be output using its method getValue() but I am unsure how this can be used by another class.
I doubt this is possible, but I am sure there are ways to achieve what I want. Any help on this subject would be great.Methods in one class can call methods defined in another class, subject to access restrictions (public, protected, package-private). This is pretty basic, so you should be able to get the meat of it from your text or tutorial.
