After a recent download, my I Tunes account recorded more than the purchase
I originally has $23.95 in my account, I purchased one down load to add to the library of $11.99 , now there is $1.95 left. I looked over purchase history, and there is no previous history about any other purchase today. Any reason for the discrpency?
There is a reason, but whether that reason is anything having to do with you or just an error in the iTunes Store database is the question.
Try logging out of your iTunes Store account completely, then signing back in. That should force a refresh of the balance display. If it's then still showing the wrong amount and going back through your Purchase History you've confirmed that there are no purchases that would explain the difference, contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department through their support page:

Select "iTunes Store Account and Billing", then "Billing Inquiries". Depending on the time you try this, you may well get a Chat screen and can take care of this in one session. If you don't get the Chat and have to fill out a form, make sure you make it clear that you've signed out and back in and checked your Purchase history. You may still get a "canned" response or two and will have to exchange emails until you get a "real" response, but with patience you should be able to get them to sort it out.

If you machine does not meet the system requirements for any applications, those applications will not be listed for installation.

After a recent iTunes update attempt iTunes no longer functions and the airport extreme base station is not accessable on our computer. We still have wifi but cannot access the base station software.
Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the response. I tried that approach this evening and it didn't work for me. (Technically it worked for me, when I was hardwired into my base station, but would not work for me wirelessly, which is my main issue.)
Again, using the approach you recommended works only if I have my ethernet cable attached to the LAN port so my computer is communicating directly to the base station through the hard wire. I am able to scan for my base station and make setting adjustments normally this way too.
As soon as I disconnect from the LAN port and try to go wireless is where I run into problems. The Base Station's wireless network I created is available to choose in the top right corner of the monitor with all of the other available wireless devices/networks -- but the network I created does not have access to the internet. I am also unable to configure my Base Station wirelessly. When my Airport Utility tries to scan for the Base Station and Network, it cannot find any Apple Wireless Device. It's like the Wireless Network in my base station is not sending out a signal.
Is there a way to resolve this issue? -
I recently downloaded my digital copy of titanic and from the itunes extras screen I push play and nothing happens. The movie is not listed, only the itunes extra is listed in the list. How do I repair?
I have the same problem on the latest iTunes software and Windows 7. My window is maximzed and I do not see any tab for photos. Seems related to a recent update (IOS7?) as this was there - at least before the very big change to the interface.

I just recently downloaded iTunes and whenever I try to access the store It says "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. An unknown error occurred (0x80096004). I have windows xp and it's running on service pack 2. I have downloaded and redownloaded iTunes many times. I'm getting very frustrated! Please help!
I have the same error for Windows Vista. I read all the community posts and followed the suggested fixes including numerous uninstalls and installs, clearing cache, choosing various SSL TL options, turning off all spyware and nothing has worked. My internet works fine for all my other programs so not sure what is going on with Itunes. I will not buy anymore products through
Apple Itunes. -
can you set up a new I Tunes account, but still use the same email address, as having problems with it keep telling me it has been disabled, no matter what I do to change the passwords, I haven't used the account since 2010?

You should have no need to use the Old Sync account.
As long as device or devices are Firefox 29 or later (They should all be Firefox 30 now) you should use the New Sync.
You may use the same email address with both accounts. -
if i sync'd songs to my ipod from a computer that i didnt have my account on, is there a way to download songs from my account with out erasing the songs from the other accounts
go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.

After updating to itunes 11.1 I've lost more than half my music (1,500) songs. To the right of the song there is the the cloud with the arrow pointing down, indicating I can download the songs from the cloud, however when I click on it,nothing happens.SOS!
Further, tracks that I've uploaded from older CDs are gone. Just as an FYI.

Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the *Previous iTunes Libraries* folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename *iTunes Library* as *iTunes Library (Empty)* and then rename the restored file as *iTunes Library*. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.

Am I able to use my iTunes Store account with more than one PC ?
I use my account on my PC - but I would like to download the latest version of iTunes onto my Mum's laptop, log in to my own iTunes Store account and rent a movie for her to download onto the laptop.
Is this possible and would I still be able to use my account on my PC at the same time?

I don't think you can--if I'm incorrect, someone will tell me--but it seems to me to be easier to simply open an iTunes account for your mom. Then get her a gift card, load it into iTunes for her, and rent a movie that way. Not elegant at all...but workable.

Try:
Reset the iOS device (no data will be lost). Press and hold the Home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears. See if the problem persists after the device reboots (it might take a while).
Download any free app, and then see if any of the other apps, after being re-downloaded, will open.
