After updating my iPhone 3G to a some iOS, it says it doesn't support Viettel SIM. Please help.
I recently just upgraded the iOS of the the iPhone 3G that my father gave me. After updating to some iOS (it doesn't say the iOS) it says that it doesn't support "Viettel" SIM. If my father finds this out, I'm in big trouble. Why doesn't it support Viettel? My father's iPhone 4S does but why not my 3G? I really need help, the sooner you reply, the better. Please help me.
The iPhone wasn't hacked. So which highest iOS iPhone 3G can have? How can I downgrade when I cannot use the iPhone and iTunes?

If your XP computer was updated, then it should work. Again, the links I posted earlier contain the current USB drivers for the iPhone and Windows. -

Every time i connect it to itunes all it says is "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate." Even thought there is a sim card connected in my phone.Is the SIM from a supported carrier?
Is the device carrier locked, officially unlocked, or hacked to be unlocked?
Has the SIM been reseated? If not, try that.
Also, basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore. Has any of that been tried? -

Check for hardware issues

Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

I have recently tried to update my iphone 2g to the latest version so i can get new apps. Pluged it it to my PC & itunes wanted to sync everything now that it has restored itself after several hours its now stuck on the "emergencey calls only" screen. The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does npot appear to be supported.
only compatible SUM cards from a supported Carrier may be used to activate iPhone. Please insert the SIM care that came with iPhone or visit a supported Carriers store to receive a replacement SIM card. -

Word 2008 is pretty much the same as Word 2004, except it's more confusing with the additionnal Ribbon bar, that brings no value-added really, so I would never recommend to invest a single dollar in it. Word 2011 on the other hand, finally has a true Ribbon interface, makes it easier to design documents, is much faster and optimized, is still supported by Microsoft, and last but not least the whole suite re-enables VBA code that had disappeared completely in 2008. You can even work with true Outlook 2011 if you want. -

You can move apps around in iOS 7 the same as iOS 6. Press an app icon until you see it wiggle; then drag it to where ever you want it to be. Drag it onto another app to create a folder with the two apps. Tap the Home button to stop the wiggle.

is to turn off wifi when you do not need it. When I leave the house I turn off wifi, because the majority of the times when my iPhone has got very hot and crashed is when I am away from home. I suspect that if the iPhone is in the vicinity of public wifi (wheather secure or not secure) it will try and connect, even if you have 'automatically join known networks' set to off. This is easy of course if you have an unlimited data contract for your iPhone. I may be wrong, but it is working for me. It makes sense for me because it is another way of reducing the work the processor (and battery) has to do and therefore reduces the chance of overheating.
Having said that, I never had this problem with my iPhone 4. I now have a 4S.
