After updating to Firefox 7.0 (now 7.0.1) the font style on Facebook changed! It's more rigid and old looking, how to change it back to how it was before?

There was no bookmarks icon on the toolbar. I used View > Toolbars> customise to put various icons on the toolbar all of which were visible using "customise". On going back to Firefox all the other icons remained visible but the Bookmarks Icon disappeared leaving no means of getting a bookmarks column on the left of the screen when using Firefox.
Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar<br />
If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

after updating to firefox 8.0, can not send gifts or requests from farmville or cityville on facebook. (When I hit the send button I get an empty window titled "about:blank", which disappears and nothing gets sent. It works under internet explorer but not under firefox 8.0

Problem loading pages after update to Firefox 36
After updating from Firefox 35.0.1 to version 36, I am unable to load any pages in Firefox. (My internet connection is fine and I can use other browsers on the same computer.)
I've already tried many troubleshooting routines to fix the problem but none have worked. I've tried the instructions here:

NONE of the suggestions in any of those pages solved the problem. Opening Firefox is Safe Mode did not help either. I was unable to load pages even in Safe Mode.
After following all of the steps in all of those troubleshooting guides and still failing, I uninstalled Firefox completely. (I followed all official directions on how to uninstall.) Then I re-installed Firefox VERSION 35.0.1. Firefox again worked fine with the older version.
Then I restored my profile from a backup using MozBackup. (My most recent backup was done when I had Ver. 35.0.1 installed.) Everything was still fine; Firefox worked fine and all of my settings were back to my preferences.
Finally, I again tried to update to version 36 - and the same thing happened! Unable to load any pages!
One other thing I've noticed: With version 36 installed, there is something wrong with my Options dialog. The first time I upgraded, I had only blank tabs for "General" and "Advanced"; with my second try, after updating to V 36 my Options dialog has blank tabs for "General" and "Search" (although Advanced is now showing.)
I am going to uninstall again, and again go back to V 35.0.1. But I would like to be able to update to the newest version. What can I do?
(I am a long-time Firefox user, and reasonably computer savvy. I have many extensions installed as I use Firefox as an important tool in my job as a website designer. I have Firefox extensively fine-tuned to my liking to optimize my work-flow.)

For users who have one or more builds from mozilla.org this will not work.
It would be best to have the full path so if you had placed the untared contents
in a folder in /home it would be /home/<username>/foldername/firefox/firefox –P
An easy way would be not to do it in a terminal but in say a launcher since
you have to point it to the firefox script in Firefox folder you can then add –P
on end. You can also have the exact "profilename" after the -P so Firefox
will start with that Profile. -
after updating to Firefox 7.0.1, menu bar for Google(web ,image,video,map etc),yahoo, Facebook (message,notification,profile,home) and others site are disabled. even I cant log out from different sites cz the log out bar is completely disabled. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up. Did you back-up just before your software update? It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.

After updating to 10.10.3, now my Macbook Pro 15" (mid-2014) will not stay logged in. I log in after restarting, and it will stay logged in for 3-5 seconds then immediately log off and go back to the login screen. Any help?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
After the last update of Firefox, my toolbar menu became blank but the bookmarks are still available from a pulldown menu. I want the on the toolbar like they used to be. How do I recover this?

how do i move the reload page button in firefox OSX to beside the back button where it was before i updated.
i know there is a classic theme addon for windows but i need a fix for osx...its very frustrating when you update and things like this change and cant be customized back to the way we are used to using the browser. its counter intuitive to have the refresh page button so far away from the back and home buttons.Is Classic Theme Restorer only for Windows? I thought it worked on Mac, too. Some of the pre-selected interface items like the Application Button may match old Windows versions and you may need to deselect those in its Settings dialog.

In the Bookmark Toolbar, the icons for websites take up too much space and are distracting. I used to use the Bookmarks - Deiconizer add-on but after updating to Firefox 22 it doesn't work anymore.
I tried adjusting the userChrome.css as in other posts but that does not work.

If userChrome.css isn't working (note: you need to exit and restart Firefox before it takes effect), you can apply that rule to Firefox using the Stylish extension instead.

According to the pages linked to the crash ID, there is a bug report on this.
Does the crash occur as soon as you run those two lines of code, or after dismissing the alert()?
If this is your application, why are you running script commands after calling window.close()? Could you avoid the problem by using an approach like this:

The phone was hacked to unlock it. It relocked when you updated. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. If you are not/never were an AT&T customer and you do not have an original store receipt from either an AT&T or Apple store in the U.S. for a no commitment AT&T iPhone, they will NOT unlock it.
Buy a new phone.
