After updating to Firefox 5 on a Windows 7 PC the bookmarks icon won't stay on the toolbar and I can't click it to get a bookmarks column on the left side of the screen, how do I fix it?
There was no bookmarks icon on the toolbar. I used View > Toolbars> customise to put various icons on the toolbar all of which were visible using "customise". On going back to Firefox all the other icons remained visible but the Bookmarks Icon disappeared leaving no means of getting a bookmarks column on the left of the screen when using Firefox.
Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar<br />
If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" and check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" or other items that are missing in the toolbar palette or on a toolbar then click the "Restore Default Set" button
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

after updating to Firefox 7.0.1, menu bar for Google(web ,image,video,map etc),yahoo, Facebook (message,notification,profile,home) and others site are disabled. even I cant log out from different sites cz the log out bar is completely disabled. And doing so will involve losing all my bookmarks. I guess I should have been more specific and detailed there. By losing, I didn't mean losing them forever. I'm aware that they're secured in some place and deleting and installing the software doesn't harm its existence. What I meant that if I install the new version, I'd have to delete the old one. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.

Icloud mail fails after update to firefox 8 on windows 7 pc
I have upgraded to firefox 8.0 and when I try to go to the www.icloud.com site a dialog box pops saying that "Mail unexpectedly stopped" The error is b.push is not a function. I have forwarded the error box to Apple.
I can see mail using safari or IE9 on the same PC. It also works on ipad and iphone.
I get the same error on a Mac Airbook also using Firefox 8.
Calendaar and contacts work fine.I get the same thing with Firefox. Also, icloud does not even load in Chrome v 16. The OS is Mac OS 10.7.2.

I asked a question about deleting deleted emails but after trying to delete all mail, it said no mail but it still keeps reappearing. The mail icon on the main screen says I have thousands of emails. I've rebooted, hit the trash one by one but they still come back! I'm going nuts!
That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. Why are some of the songs in my music grey and I can't click on them
Idownloaded songs on my computer, then synced them to my iPod. After I thought they downloaded, I checked my music and some of the songs were grey and I can't click on them anyone have any solutions?
Aec, I'm have the same issue as well with mine. I deleted some music a few week back to give room for sum pics and movies and now that i want to restore them from off my itunes only 1 or 2 songs are actually able to play and the rest out of the albums are greyed out and non responsive. Have never had an issue like this b-4. Anyone have any insight or some problems? Thanks in advance.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Whenever I click on a link, a new window pops up. That's good, that's what I wanted. They've always opened on the left side of the screen. However, they are now opening in the middle of the screen. This has happened before and the screen eventually opened completely on the right. Last time this happened, I ended up having to delete something. I don't remember what, but it solved the issue. Please help!

I have an iPhone 4 and my lock button is jammed and I also can not touch anything on the left side of my screen well as any pop ups from the phone itself, so i can not get past the set up stage in reset process...how can i fix it/can it be fixed?

After I updated to iOS 7, my iCloud account is showing the incorrect email address for my Apple ID but will not allow me to change it- it's gray and I can't click on it. How do I fix this?
If you change your email, you do not need to "change" your AppleID. Just edit your email(s) on your Apple ID by logging in to your AppleID account. You should always use the same AppleID for Apple Services (iCloud, iTunes etc) and multiple ID will cause problems and confusion in the future.

After updating my iphone 5s to ios 8.0.2, I am not able to use watsapp and line properly, iphone automatically comes out of the apps after few mins. Please suggest how to fix it.
I had this same problem with what's app. There is a new update for the app on the app store which is compatible with ios8. Update the app, or delete it and re-add it. I found a lot of apps weren't compliant with ios8, but after updating everything worked fine.

After update to Firefox 15 it crashes after javascript call from a popup window.close();opener.alert('test');. Is this working as intended or is it a bug?
According to the pages linked to the crash ID, there is a bug report on this.
Does the crash occur as soon as you run those two lines of code, or after dismissing the alert()?
If this is your application, why are you running script commands after calling window.close()? Could you avoid the problem by using an approach like this:
