After updating to iOS 5, i can not purchase apps. it says can not connect to iTunes store
After upgrading to IOS 5, I can not purchase anything from the app store. I get the message "Can not connect to iTunes store". I am able to get updates from the app store only through my phone. Also, Game center I.D. wasn't accepted. It said the user name was already taken. Had to create a new one.
Please help
You might try to confirm that your messages are actually sending. I have the same problem, but my messages appear to be sending but are not actually being received.

There is no such thing as a "Factory Unlocked iPhone "
They are either locked to a carrier who may at some stage offer unlocking
or sold direct to a user by Apple (from their own Stores or online .)

After updating from ios 7.1.2 to 8.1.2, iphone got stuck syncing with itunes!
I searched for some solutions on the internet and applied following fixes:
1- Disconnected iphone from PC and closed itunes.
2- Reset the iphone by holding down the On/Off button.
3- Connected iphone back to PC to sync with itunes.
Apparently this fixed the problem, and iphone synced with itunes.same here, but now you can't downgrade to iOS 7.x, since apple has closed the verification server for that version.

It's in recovery mode. You don't have a choice. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. If you didn't back it up, there is no way to recover it.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > View Apple ID > enter your password > set Country/Region to US if your account was created in the US.

I created a backup of the iPod in iTunes before updating to iOS 4.33 but after the update I can not restore. The backup is no longer shown in iTunes. I think iOS 4.3.3 has some differences in handling WLAN due to the Hot Spot capability for the iPone 4 which might cause these problems.
Please help. The only use of my iPod touch is to remote control my media network. And exactly that is no longer working the way it was before the update!

GerdNow this has two direct effects - firstly it has increased the 3g usage for data and secondly it causes 'blips' with the ability to connect to previously working wifi connections.

3. Once in the command prompt, type "netsh winsock reset" and hit ENTER.
4. Reboot your machine.
5. Restart iTunes.

Says can not connect to iTunes when updating app. Can uninstall and reinstall. Can connect directly to iTunes. Anyone out there who can help me? Apple wants me to pay them for their support because I didn't have a problem in the first 90 days.

Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

I attempted to make an in-app purchase on the Original Gangstaz app and a message came up saying to contact itune support to complete the transaction. Another window comes up after saying that no connection could be made to the itunes store . I have made numerous in-app purchases, so why has this now happened?
