After updating to ISO 7, my ringtones I previously purchased from iTunes is not showing up on my phone

After my phone updated, I can't find my ringtones previously purchased from iTunes...I have looked in iTunes, still have my receipt from where I purchased these ringtones

Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, and iTunes Radio availability by country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this).  Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple recommends,  "You always back up your iTunes library in the event that a purchased item is no longer available on the iTunes Store," (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).

  • I downloaded ios7 after being asked to restore. But now my phone wont connect to the activation server and is asking to restore again but I cant because itunes does not show any of my phone information

I downloaded ios7 after being asked to restore. But now my phone wont connect to the activation server and is asking to restore again but I cant because itunes does not show any of my phone information (it just shows a blank white screen with "iphone" in the centre".

I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

  • Updated to 7.0 and lost video file purchased from iTunes

I updated my iTunes today and a video file I purchased from iTunes in February is gone. The file is still on my iPod because I have not sync'ed it yet. I know that once I do the file is lost for good. Is there a way of preserving it and putting it back into iTunes without repurchasing it?
    Thanks,

  • After updating IPhoto to 9.5.1 my newly burned IDVD disks will not show on my Bluray player but will on my regular player.  I burned the disk the same way as I did before Iphoto update.

My Apple computer has OSX Version 10.9.3 installed, IPHOTO 9.5.1, IMOVIE 7.1.4 and IDVD 7.1.2.  Before I installed OSX and IPHOTO 9.5.1 updates I could burn disks of my videos and they would show on all my DVD players and still do.  The disks I recently burns will not show on my Samsung Blu-ray player, but, will show on my regular player.  I tried in both Magic DVD and One Step DVD From Movies with the same results.  I used the same process before and after the problem.  I am 75 years old and am not as computer savvy so I am not sure were to start troubleshooting the problem.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Don

What brand and type of DVD disk did you use?  The most recommended brands around here are Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R.
What speed did you burn at?  It's recommended to burn at the slowest speed possible to ensure the best quality disk, 2x -4x.
I have a Sony BlueRay player that will not take most of my home burned disks.  It seems to be more particular.

    Update:
I have been following instructions on the apple website.
    Including:

    and
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, Quicktime and other software components

  • How do I select a ringtone I have purchased from iTunes on my iPhone?

Just for starters: I have already searched the Apple Discussions forum, Google, and Yahoo for the answer. I am NOT IN THE UK.
I downloaded a ringtone from iTunes. It was not a song, it was listed as a ringtone. It is now in my iPod on iTunes, but it is not available to select as a ringtone. Only the default ringtones that came with the phone are available to select. How do I select the ringtone that I purchased, please?

I've tried both methods. I once purchased a ringtone on my laptop, and was not able to get it onto my phone. I saw the folder on my laptop, but it didn't transfer the ringtone to my phone.
I thought I could purchase a ringtone from iTunes directly on my iPhone, but it didn't work. The ringtone I bought IS there in the More folder under the Download folder, but all I can do is play it and hear it. I can't choose it to be the default ringtone for my phone, or assign it to a particular caller. If there's a menu or a trick to selecting it, I can't see it. But thanks for the suggestion! I will continue to look.

  • Music not purchased from iTunes will not play on iPhone after iOS5 update

Music that I have purchased from iTunes syncs perfectly to the iPhone (3GS) but the music from my library that was not purchased from iTunes (burned from a CD) will show up in the iPhone music list but does not have any artwork nor will it play that music!  Currently my solution has been to delete the defunct music from the iPhone and recopy it from iTunes.  The music will then play but the artwork is missing.  This is a rather irritating problem.  Is anyone else having this issue?  If so, any are any other solutions?  Thanks!

I have just noticed that I am missing songs since I upgraded to iOS5.  In some cases the art work is there and the length of the song is there but it will not play.  I'm going to try and resync when I get home.  I'll have to check to see if the songs still exist in my iTunes???  Nothing is ever easy is it??

  • Ringtone's from itunes store not showing up?

I have bought 5 ringtones over a period of time. tonight when i plugged my iphone in to sync with some new songs i'd added to my library(songs not ringtones) everything went just fine.  I decided to set my alarms for the next morning and noticed all my alarms had been set to default songs (marimba, ascend...etc) i noticed all my ringtones were gone.. i thought maybe it was just in my alarm section so i checked my ringtone section..also missing.  i plugged my phone back in made sure all my ringtones were checked for syncing also check in the "tones" section on my ipod through the computer and the "all tones" box was checked.. i'm really confused..   so now that i've done everything i can think of i'm hoping someone knows what i did or something the phone did not sure what i could have done wrong :/

yeah it shows up in the purchased section everything. in fact when i click the name of my iphone on itunes and click tones it shows the tones there but when i try to play them from my computer i get an exclamation point from them...  i've had some of the ringtones since april so it kind of confuses me why tonight they ALL messed up

  • Ringtones purchased from iTunes not showing up under Text Tones in iOS 5

I just upgraded to IOS 5 on my 3Gs and i am glad to see there are new Tone options but i can not find the ringtones i purchased earlier this year under text tones. I can find the ones i made but not the ones i purchased from itunes.

I had the same issue.  Try this:  go into iTunes, select your iPhone, go to Ringtones tab, check the Sync seclected Ringtones, deselect the ringtones that you pruchansed from iTunes Store.  Now Apply/Sync the phone.  When it's done, Go back to the Ringtones tab and select Sync all Ringtones.  Apply/Sync the phone again.  Now go to a contact and set a ringtone, you should see all the purchased ringtones.  Good luck.

  • Poor sound after updating to ISO 7

Poor sound after updating to ISO 7. Before updating i had terrific sound both on my music and videos I recorded with my cam, i had to turn it down. Now, after update, i put volym on Max and can hardly hear the music or whatever. Anyone else with same problem?

I also loved my iphone because it HAD great sound.  Since the update of the iso7 for my iphone 4s, i am missing my calls because I cannot hear the phone ringing.  The sound is so low even though I have it on the highest sound possible.  The is something in the update that caused this problem among others such as the phone blinking out while I am viewing videos.  Help Apple!  THe battery is going from 100 percent to 20 percent in two hours even when I have almost turned off everything on my iphone.  I need my sound back!  Apple please find out what happened in your update that caused the loss of the sound!

  • Wont charge after update to ISO 7

Why wont my Iphone 5 take any kind of chargers after update to ISO 7 HELP me !!!!

Your next step may be to make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out.
If the battery is totally dead, you may need to have it on a charger for at least half an hour before it shows any signs of life. But if there's something going on with your port then you can't do that. It may be time to bring in the pros and see if they can work anything out

  • Anyone has any problem after updating to iSO 4.3.1 ?

anyone has any problem after updating to iSO 4.3.1 ?
I would like to know before updating mine.

My 3G kept freezing after iSO 4.2.. and after reading the forums I updated both my Itunes and software to iOS 4.3.1, now I've lost my notes, contacts, calender entries and so far in the last ten minutes it's turned off and restarted itself and sync'd continually about 5 times.
So basically I'm still where I was before only more cranky. In addition, I live in Australia and there are no Genius places here, there is no support from Apple unless you pay for it even by an email, you basically end up fending for yourself under a supposed warranty that isn't worth the paper its printed on.
It you haven't already guessed, I'm more than a little ****** off.
If I'd known how much trouble this was going to be, I don't think I would have spent the $400 odd dollars to buy it.
If its not right by the weekend I'm taking it back to the shop I bought it.
