After upgrade to firefox 5 my webmail inbox has message stating,you have undefined mails in your inbox,but there seems to be no way to access these mails.Works perfectly well with internet explorer.

system goes to talktalk website as normal,click on my mail,then on login,and up comes message you have undefined mails in your inbox.normally the message would say ,you have X No of new mails.No matter what I try I cannot gain access to my messages.If i use internet explorer i get my messages no problem

I found my own solution to this one after many more hours of frustration. I found that there was a toolbar applet installed in Internet Explorer that started its own private JVM, and that JVM was being seen by the plugin code for 1.3.1_07. Apparently there was some conflict between what the plugin code expected and what that private JVM (not sure what version it was, the code had no mention of it) had to offer, which caused the crash dialog. Uninstalling the toolbar (and its parent application) solved the problem. I may do further testing to see if there are any plugin versions that do work with this particular applet.
It is also still a mystery why this problem only cropped up after installing and uninstalling 1.4.x version of the plugin, but I didn't keep close track of the whole sequence so it may have been coincidental.

I could not see how to continue after upgrade to firefox 4. This has never been a problem with ast upgrades. I am finding Firefox to be very user unfriendly for non-tech people.

I am being told that my current version of firefox is no longer protected. When I tried to upgrade to firefox 4 some time ago, the menu bar(?) was gone--no bookmarks. I set my computer back to an earlier date to get my book marks back and have been afraid to attempt this upgrade again. Firefox also appears to have tried to do the upgrade automatically and says I have incompatible add-ons. I have never had problems with previous updates. I have read negative reviews of firefox 4 and am frankly afraid of it. I hate to leave firefox and am afraid of losing my book marks as well. I find the "Help" forums etc. here extremely difficult to navigate and they seem to be aimed at people who are more tech savy than many of us are.

After upgrading to Firefox 7 my browser is nearly non functional. CPU goes to 60% and sticks there

I regularly have about 8 tabs open. When I open the browser it can not load all of the tabs. Some load and some do not. Indeed my memory usage is low, but my cpu runs up to 60% and just lives there. I would appreciate a fix or a link to the old firefox 6 that actually worked. Thanks
In an effort to fix this I have:Installed the new version over the top of the old version:Removed the old version and totally reinstalled (left user profile)

This can happen when Firefox is not open and has to launch when you click the link in the email. It is a longstanding glitch that seems to haunt some people repeatedly while others never see it.
The usual cause is that the registry setting for URLs has become corrupted with a mixture of Firefox and IE settings. If changing your default browser to IE and then changing it back to Firefox does not correct the mix-up, you might need to fix those settings manually.

Upgraded to Firefox 4 now can not access my inbox in email. Error message say I have undefined new mails in the inbox

Downloaded update toi mFirewfox 4. ISP is Talktalk. Can open My mail and get to screen with inbox but page seems to stopp loading then as it doesa not show amount of space being used etc which it normally does. Instead message says 'You have undefined new mails in your inbox' Nothing then happens and the button to open the inbox does not work. Can however access my email and inbox through Outlook express. Contacted TalkTalk help line and after running some checks was told that the problem is with the browser. Canb anyone help solve this please.

Issue with Internet Explorer on Lumia 920 Windows ...

The built-in Internet Explorer browser can't handle drop-down menus. On touch, the options are shown, the menu rolls out, but when lifting finger, it rolls back instantly so you can't make a choice. If trying to move finger to the sub-menu, the entire screen moves with the menu title fixed under your fingers, as when shifting a web page sideways. So the sub menu again can't be accessed. If using two fingers, the browser doesn't respond when selecting the sub menu. If pressing too long (>1 second) you're asked to share the link on e.g. Twitter... There seems to be no way of accessing the sub menu. So now I'm eternally logged on to LinkedIn since the logout is in an inaccessible drop down menu. Any way to solve this issue? When will this Internet. Explorer error be fixed? It's been there for months now.(May 2013)

I have the same issue on my lumia 920, love the phone but this is such a nightmare and pretty bad, considering the competition like i phone and Motorola g have no problems like this, plus its pretty embarrassing, i need this access for work, if there is no fix i may have to switch to another brand

Yep, exactly the same problem only on W2K SP4. Firefox5 doesn't work but IE (on the same machine) does.
Sorry, I'm not sure what version version of IE is being used.
(It's the PC at work that has the problem and I'm writing this at home on my linux box which has Firefox version 3.6.18 for linux mint - which also works fine.)

We have no problem accessing other web pages such as google or ebay and it is strange that we can get onto our email site but just not get into our inbox for new emails. There are no details given about the inbox contents either - it says 'undefined new mails in your inbox.'
