Agent transfer-in (UCCX rel 7)

In the agent summary report, I have a column called Agent transfer-in. I did not find any detailled explanation about this colume. Does it means that if the agent "A" received a call from the UCCX and transfer the call to agent "B" directly on his ICD extension, I should see the for the agent "A" a 1 under the column Agent transfer-out and a 1 in the column under the column Agent transfer-in for the Agent "b" ?

Hi Celine, I currently work with the agent templates. The agent Transfer In field is corresponding to the number of tasks transferred into the skill group. This value is updated when the agent complete the call. In short that means how many inbounds calls agents did received according to his skill group. Transfer Out is how many call agents transferred to other skill group.

  • Disabling DTMF for Agent Transfer to IVR calls

    Hi,
I want to disable DTMF for agents when the agent transfer call back to IVR. I tried it by disabling the DTMF using SIP trunk but in this case caustomer is also unable to provide DTMF. Moreover with SIP normalization we removed telephony event in the SDP message but it only works for SCCP phone and I am having SIP phone.
By default SIP phone is using KPML to send the DTMF. Is there any way to block the DTMF in KPML.
Please advice is the any other way to achieve the requirement.
    Thanks,
    Ashfaque.

    UCCE or UCCX?
If UCCE with CVP - is wondering if microapp.input_type which should be set = D - well setting it to an invalid value like N instead for e.g. will help or not?
Why do you want to disable DTMF if I may ask - if there are no collect digits scripts like Menu or GD any which way - then pressing DTMF will be ignored by the system anyway's.
    Thanks,

  • Unity Connection Operator Transfer to UCCX Trigger

I have a customer with the following scenario...
A caller calls (either directly or through transfer) to a personal line, and is transferred to voicemail.
The '0' option is set to transfer to Operator on the Unity Connections system.
They want the caller to be transferred to the UCCX queue if they press '0'.
    Here is what is configured:
The Operator Call Handler has Transfer Rules set to transfer to Extension (2504) and Release to Switch.
2504-Internal is a Translation Pattern to 5200-IPCC which is the UCCX Trigger.
    Here is what happens:
I call the personal line, and get diverted to Voicemail.
I begin hearing the personal greeting, and press '0'.
I hear the 'Please wait while I transfer your call' prompt'.
I hear the initial prompt of the Call Center script.
I begin hearing the in queue hold message while waiting on an agent.
At this point we would think all is fine, and that things are working as desired.
However, some timeout occurs, and the call reverts to the Unity Connection handler.
I hear that 'The Operator is not available' and the call follows the Transfer Rule, and re-transfers me to the UCCX script.
Unless an agent can answer my call quickly enough, I do not remain in queue but bounce back to Unity and then transfer again to UCCX as a fresh call in queue.
Any thoughts on where to look, or a method to troubleshoot this scenario would be appreciated.

Does your AEF script impose a two-second delay prior to the Accept step when the call is coming from CXN? There is a JTAPI race condition that can cause this if the MIVR engine answers the call immediately vs. waiting two seconds or half a ring.

  • Wrap-up time configuration per agent basis (in UCCX)

There are two agents (X & Y) who are part of the same CSQ, however both agents want to have different Inbound wrap-up time.
What I understand in UCCX is, that we configure wrap-up time in CSQ (unlike agent desk settings in UCCE). If its a CSQ based, this setting gets applied to all the agents whoever is part of the same CSQ. I didnt find any such wrap-up time option which can be configured at the agent level and doesnt impact whole CSQ. Is there any solution to the problem stated above?
Will greatly appreciate help in this regard.
    Thanks

You can do this using a workflow.
Set your CSQ wrap time to a high value, for example 600 secs.
Create 2 workflows - one for experts and one for your novices.
In your expert workflow, add a timer action to the work event in the voice contact workflow. Set this timer to the wrap up time required for experts, and add an action there to make the agent go ready (if they are not already ready).
In your novice workflow, do the same as above but give set this timer to the value required for novices.
I've tested this out on v8.5 and it seems to work OK.

  • Remote Agent Bandwidth requirement & UCCX on the cloud

    Hi,
There are Remote Agents working from home:(UCCX 9 & CUCM 9.1)
    - Can they use jabber ?
    - How much bandwidth do they need? for Call-signaling, just to log in and receiving the Call? I knoe in UCCX 7 it requires 16Kbps
    - How recording works for those users?
If I want to put the UCCX on the cloud ( with all UC solution), how much bandwidth do I need and how the recording works?
    Thanks,
    Hamed

The amount of bandwidth required will be a function of two details. 1) what is the timeframe that the change takes place over? ie. does the 1gb change happen in 1 hr, 1 day, or 1 week? and 2) Since this remote mirroring will be async, how much delta between the databases are you willing to allow? ie. can the remote be 1 min out of sync, 10 min out of sync, or more? Since most db work is bursty, if we are given longer periods to sync the data, we can use a lower bw link.
These two questions need to be thought about and answered before a good answer can be given. You need to balance the cost of lost data vs. the cost of higher throughput circuits.

  • Workflow Task Agent Assignment for PO Rel

    Hello;
Can someone tell me how the system can be set to forward a work item for the person responsible for PO release, meaning based on the department who own the goods the system should find the person who's the approver of that department.
    Thanks
    Ibou

    Hi ,
Try assigning a new Agent Rule in the Task TS20000166.
You will have to create a custom rule using transaction PFAC. Choose option "F - Agent dertermination function to be executed" and assign a new Z function module which will determine your agent.
You can refer to function module ME_REL_GET_RESPONSIBLE while creating your own function module.
    Cheers!!!

  • Configuring sticky agent on UCCX

Hello, I am currently trying to configure this functinoality on UCCX 8.5.1:
If a caller rings back within 30 minutes, I would like him to be transferred to the same agent that handled the previous call if it is in Ready State. Otherwise it should be transferred to the next available agent.
I know this can be done with the Session steps, mapping the calling number. I have checked Cisco Reference Documents and tried some test scripts, but I can´t get it work yet. I would need some help about how to implement this.
    Thank you very much,
    Héctor

There's two assumptions in this approach you want to be careful of:
    Sessions always last 30 minutes
You don't end sessions when the call ends
The safer, and more reliable approach to this would be to store the calls in a database as soon as the agent picks the call up, and then have the script query that database for new calls that come in.  You'd want to enable something like a nightly/hourly scheduled job to purge entries from the table that are past your 30 minute threshold.
I'm not able to prove or disprove your existing approach, but based on experience, it could have holes that you'd end up having to deal with down the road.
By the way, I love this concept of sticky agent transfer, and I think I'll be pitching it to our team managers internally.

  • Latest version of UCCX Agent desktop in VDI or XenDesktop environment

Is anyone out there using Agent Desktop for UCCX in a XenDesktop VDI environment. The release notes for the latest clients don't appear to list XenDesktop specifically but mentions VDI support and XenApp support.

I've a confirmation from Calabrio that it has not been qualified and is not committed to a specfic release at this time.

  • Uccx agent call wrap up custom reason codes

    Dear Experts,
we have a team of agents who gets the wrapup option after they hung up to add the notes and reason codes (attached screen shot). there is another team of agents in same uccx who require different list of reason codes to be dispalyed when call is ended. The managemen have also asked if there can be sub menus in the list ? Please can some one advise if this is possible and if so I can get some instructions to configure this please.

  • UCCX 8x. - Agent Personal Queue Question - Dequeue to Overflow verses add secondary resource

    All,
I am writing a script for Agent Queue on UCCX 8x, and I want a secondary agent to be able to answer calls for this Queue when the primary Agent is on Break or Logged out .
    I am thinking two options:
    A. Dequeue to Overflow Queue
    B. Adding a secondary agent assign skill  level 10 to the Queue instead.........but the issue here is that this secondary agent belongs to another queue and would need to have a choice whether to answer calls from the other Queue.
What do you think is the best option?

What if you set queue priority better so the backup agent always answer this queue first and if it is empty he will answer the second queue till the other agent is available?

  • Agent cannot recieve call

    Hi,
I have an agent configured in UCCX on a remote site. All of the CRS config should be correct and the agent can log on to the agent desktop. When a call is routed to the agent the status goes into reserved, then straight back to Not Ready (or Ready). the phone does not even ring which i suspect is the issue.
    I think the problem is either;
    a. Partition or CSS issue - this is the first agent on a remote site
    b. Codec issue - i doubt it as the phone would ring first if there were a codec issue.
    I have attached the MIVR but i think this is the issue;
The Resource to which the transfer failed is 3055
    Cheers
    Jon

Its ok i solved it myself, as suspected the CSS was the issue . the CTI ports did not have access to the remote partition.

  • Original Caller Id not appearing in case of call transfer [UCCE 7.0]

    Dear All,
Currently we have UCCE 7.0 Environment and we are facing an issue that when a call is transferred by an Agent A to another Agent B via different Call Flow, the Original Caller Id  of the customer is not getting displayed on Agent B Phone, rather it shows the Caller Id of the Agent A who has transferred the call. Following are the details of scenario.
    1. We have two different call flows of ICM scripts, lets Call it Call Flow A  and Call Flow B.
    2. A Call arrives to Call Flow A, goes into the SkillGroup Queue and Call is answered by Agent A and he can see the correct Callerd Id. When Agent A determines that the call is not related to his skills, so he transfers the Call to Call Flow B.
    3. The transferred Call in Call Flow B goes into the Skill Group Queue and is answered by Agent B but the Agent B can't see the original Caller Id of the customer, rather he is presented with the Caller Id of Agent A who transferred the Call.
Our contact center staff complains that the issue was not there before, so we tried to verify this through past Screen Recordings found that their claim is correct.
We tried to trouble shoot this by collecting wireshark logs, but as our call volume is too high so we couldn't figure out which party has changed the Caller Id. We tried to make a guess that may be at CVP end the Caller Id has been changed, so when we tried to filter the IP addresses of CVP Servers in wireshark logs as source and destinations, so we found no results.
I just want to know what would be the best way to troubleshoot this issue. And does anyone know what may cause this issue to trigger suddenly. We still have plans to capture the wireshark logs again during off peak hours, but still i thought i may get a good advise on this forum.
    Regards,
    Yasir

Hi Yasir - Route Pattern 2xxxx which is routed to CVP is specially created for transfer scenario ? or accidentally some one created this.
whatever the reason is Route pattern taking priority and transferring calls to CVP which is considering transfer leg as NEW CALL instead of PRE-ROUTE call so obviously phone Extn which is transferring the  calls will appear as ANI which we can verify the same from below logs since ICM losing the call control it cannot update initial call info here the same can be verified in PIM logs.
Since you already enabled N/W transferred in PIM and Script, Just delete the Route Pattern 2xxx which is pointing to CVP and make test calls and tranfer the same call to 20083 via CTI and let me know the result
You can also verify the TCD table in HDS DB for the call where Router call key will be same for initial and Transfer leg
deleting Route Pattern will resolve the issue, make some test call and observe the ANI for tranfer leg
If not collect the logs will verify the same, also pls update me TCD table for those failure calls

  • Agent Selection/Routing Question

    Hello:
I wanted to run a question by the group to get some feedback on a question I have surrounding Agent routing within UCCX (8.5 su4).
Here is the setup of the environment:
    CSQ1: General
    Routing Criteria: LAA
    CSQ2: Spanish
    Routing Criteria: Most Skilled
    Agent1
has Skills of General and Spanish.
Their competency is the same within both skills.
Question: Calls are in queue for both CSQ's, although the call in the spanish CSQ has been in queue longer.  And agent 1 goes ready.  Whats currently happening is that agent 1 is getting another call from the General Queue as opposed to getting it from the spanish queue.
How do I ensure that agent 1 gets the call from the spanish CSQ over the general CSQ?  Each CSQ needs to keep the Routing Criteria the same.
My thought is that it has to be one of these two items, if not a combination of both.
Decrease the Competency of all General agents to a (5) and Making the Spanish competency higher then 5.
in the script, for Spanish Calls use the Set Priority Node to increase Spanish queued calls to be at like a 5, to ensure all spanish calls have a higher priority then general Calls.
    Any feedback would be appreciated!

    Hi Sean
All calls on the system if you are not using priority steps already should be answered FIFO... provided that there are agents available in the queue that the first call came in (i.e. they meet the minimum competency). Competency, skills/LAA and all those algorythms only affect who gets the call, not which one is served first. The exception to that is if the competency excludes some agents from the CSQ completely.
So a call that arrives in 'Spanish' first should be routed to agents first, as long as there are agents available. Does the same apply if the agent is 'ready' but on a call for example? E.g. call voicemail as the agent, then put a call in to spanish, then one in general, and see which one comes through first.
Priority will work, but will mean that Spanish calls alway queue jump. Priority is absolute, so a p2 call will jump in front of all other lower-priority calls regardless of how long they have been there.
If you just want first-come-first-served, then that's what you should have by default.
    Aaron
