Aging made better threads getting no Vendettas

How's that can you hear me now; decent: not undecent. What went down here with my homegrown those of you who know know the lo down...?
Anyway The Way is clear to me now. Out of quite a few previous attempts too many samples had the carnival cruise effect, like a Hawaian string band running on/off.
Today I laid some samples that were decent. Though the instrument editor in the EXS sampler really had me fooled into thinking that playback was the real thing.
But it's a really interesting process how it's kind of like a fine grind, digitally resampling the original sound, like put your head in and listen [just don't get it stuck in the muddy-mod-pond].
I like mud, actually, when the sample gets kind of muddy it's better than taking a vendetta out for not getting tech-know freaking in the mod-shack.
Is that technical enough, winesome, for the freakin' geeks? [win some for the geeks]
"get your tech freak on, get your tech-know freak on, go, go, go, go...'Careful the faux po's put out these lyrics, bow down when we come to your town' and no one likes that ****!"

Some steel laid down hard against a nice Gforce Minimonsta, that's a mini moog replica for those of you who aren't familiar with the other 'Gforce' as in made by M-Audio not Nvidia, any way this kind of music went down like an American sample gem based on some homegrown samples of steel gits.
So Rohan you better check your spam filter or something because previously I sent you something and it sounds as if you didn't get the email.
Dig it, this thread is still hanging!

  • Threads Getting Deleted

Yesterday one person had a topic talking about not getting answers because people in this forum would turn most threads into personal chats... I dont know what happened later but as I left it was a fair defendable discussion. Today, it has been deleted... So I guess that someone gut ruff and started using foul language or started using sentences not conform with the rules of this forum... OK.
It seems that if threads are containing contents that are not complying with the regulations of this forum tend to get deleted.... I understand that and respect it... However, that is the reason why I write this... If one does ask a REAL question and others answers this question but answers it in a "Funny" way only to start conversation and turn the thread into a personal chat why does the thread not get deleted - cuz personal chats(Which happens ALOT on this forum) are also not conform with the rules of this forum... I HATE when I ask a question or reply to one to have people answering or responding that have absolute no idea of what they be talking about only cuz they have nothing better to do.... This is what the thread was about that just got deleted and I think it is too bad cuz it was a real good topic... I myself hang at the DUC (digidesign) and there it is somewhat different than here.... Only people knowing something about the topic posted are answering(Mostly) and that is very nice. I've been hanging there since february and have yet to see a thread deleted(I am not there 24/7 so I might have missed some). But in this forum threads getting deleted and locked all the time and the tone of many of these threads are of improper manor. I'M not saying that I cant take hard words of true spoken language...But what I can't hear is when questions are being asked and someone, Obviously not knowing what he says, be answering posts only cuz he seeking attention.... Mister Moderator, should you read this : then please also have the decency to delete posts of INCOMPETENT NATURE. And while I'M at it : Warn people when they start to use this forum as a friend finder or chat room

I do close my eyes to those things and that is why i dont answer questions which I am not 100% sure of. It is the people starting personal chats over topics out of they reach that should learn to close they eyes and not respond to everything that gets posted... Specially if they know little or nothing about the matter. I know that many of you guys here that I often get into BIG no HUGE discussions with like Jord, iSchwarz, Mr. Robinson, Rohan Stevenson, Justin, X4IS etc...answer many a quastions and are really devoted to this forum which I respect... I have seldom hear one of you answer on a question U had no Idea of. But there are many that do and that is what I think is wrong.... And then some poor guy comes along asking how people can find any answers with all that personal stuff going on here and BOOM his post gets trashed... That was what sparked me cuz there are many other posts here that has nothing to do with the topic of Logic Pro... and there are many serious threads getting defaulted to rubbish cuz people wanna make jokes or have nothing better to than SCRE* Around... People can do what they want but if the Logic Admin is deleting posts cuz they have nothing to do with Logic then he should be consistent and do all over the line and not only on certain threads... OR they should change the regulations to : Personal chat i welcome here... And might I ad, you guys know that I dont mean speaking nice to one another etc or asking "How are you" when answering a thread....

  • Threads getting stuck in reflection

    Hi,
during our nightly performance tests some weblogic instances start responding very slowly. The reason seems to be in many threads getting stuck doing reflection. The top of the stacktrace looks like this:
####<03.06.2013 21:49 Uhr MST> <Error> <WebLogicServer> <XXX> <XXX> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '30' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <1370321366808> <BEA-000337> <[STUCK] ExecuteThread: '172' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)' has been busy for "613" seconds working on the request "XXX", which is more than the configured time (StuckThreadMaxTime) of "600" seconds. Any ideas what is going wrong and more importantly how to fix it?
    Thanks

Seems to be related to the -XgcPrio:pausetime -XpauseTarget:200ms command line options. When I removed them, jrockit uses throughput gc and the problem does not arise. However, I would like to be able to control the gc pause time a bit as we have 96th percentile SLAs and the throughput collector affects more then 4% of the requests....

adobe support is hopeless, there must be a better way, if not it might be better to get a different movie program. is anyone having the same problem?

This is like buying a GM car and being told to talk to otherGM customers on how to fix your car yourself.  It it the blind leading the blind.   I have wasted many days and weeks because I cannot find solutions.  I have rarely gotten a solution from any similar forum, and more often been told by other members that I should buy what they have or that I should not want to make this or that type a disc, etc., and rarely a suggestion that is useful.

  • Difference bet Thread and Runnable Inteface

what is the main difference bet Thread and Runnable interface. Where it is used Thread and Where it is used Runnable interface

http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-04-1996/jw-04-threads.htmlThere are a lot of differences, see the article above for details.
Generally, I would only extend Thread if I want to enhance/extend the functionality of how Threads work (like providing a Timer or a Clock, or something). If all I am doing is providing some work to be done in a separate thread, then I will create a class that implements Runnable and run it using new Thread(myRunnable).start(). Most of the time, I use Runnable, since rarely would I need to change how threads act.

I suspect you have a deadlock in the database. There are some WLS threads that seem to be waiting for a response from the DB and there are some others waiting for locks held by those threads. The latter threads are trying to rollback transactions, probably because the transactions have timed out. I'd examine the DB log files to figure out where the deadlock is.

  • Threads get stuck during load test

    Hi,
We are running some stress tests and receive some warnings about threads getting
    stuck.
My question is regarding the warning itseld, how can I know from the warning string
    what was the thread doing.
We got two kinds of warnings:
    1) Warnings regarding "null" requests, which look more or a less like this:
    <Jan 19, 2004 8:23:59 PM GMT> <Warning> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000337> <ExecuteThread:
'117' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default' has been busy for "1,411" seconds working
on the request "null", which is more than the configured time (StuckThreadMaxTime)
    of "600" seconds.>
    2) Warnings regarding "ConnectionXXX.SessionYYY", which look like this:
    <Jan 15, 2004 6:12:15 AM CST> <Warning> <WebLogicServer><BEA-000337> <ExecuteThread:
'9' for queue:'weblogic.kernel.Default' has been busy for "707" seconds working
on the request "connection72.session501", which is more than the configured time
    (StuckThreadMaxTime) of "600" seconds.>
Does anyone know what is the meaning of this part of the warning?
    TIA,
    Lior

    Hi,
Thanks for the explanation. My question was regarding the fomrat of the warning
    message.
Can I find out what was the thread doing according to the <request "null"> or
<request "ConnectionXXX.SessionYYY"> which appear in the warning?

Does anyone know what is the meaning of this part of the warning?Basically it means that given threads spent time processing requests
that exceeded configured threshold (600 second is a default value).
When it happens, weblogic signals this situation with the warnings
above. It's done to notify about potential exhausting of execute threads.
If the request processing times above are normal, you need to increase
the threshold to eliminate these messages. If not, you may want to find
out why it's taking so long.
Let me know if you have more questions.

  • Is it worth getting another iPad, or is it better to get a less flashy, less well-known product?

My iPad was just stolen while I was sitting in a public park.   I take responsibility for putting it down on the bench, my error.  I always keep it in my backpack when it is not in my hands.  Talking to the police and reading public announcements, I know it is best not to flaunt good electronics.
Since it is only wi-fi and not 3G, I could not track it using Find my iPhone.   I did hit the remote wipe instruction.
With that in mind,  I was wondering if I should get a non-Apple product that I can use in a park or carry in a subway and not worry about it being so desirable to thieves.  I loved my iPad, but if you can't relax with your tablet and to also use it for reading books or news, it loses some of its value.
In the same vein, I avoid taking out my iPhone on the subway and on the street.  Maybe it's better to get a Droid which isn't so attractive?
I thought I'd reach out to the true beleivers in the Apple Communities for your insights.

  • Has the Bridge been made Multi-threaded

In versions 6.5 and lower it is my understanding that the Bridge is a single threaded
process. Has it been made multi-threaded in 7.1 or 8.0. If not, are there any
plans to make it so in the future?

The Bridge is not multithreaded in any released version of TUXEDO.
We are not oblivious to the need, though.

  • Suspend another thread if my UI thread gets suspended on a breakpoint, etc

    Hi all
    This is a longshot, but...
Anyone aware of a way to suspend 1/all threads automatically when the UI thread gets suspended when because of a breakpoint or an exception running in debug mode? This would be helpful in debugging. I am using Eclipse Ganymede on Linux Ubuntu.

Usually this is an option of the debugger. I can't remember how to do this in eclipse however...
