AIA Foundation Pack Config Utility failed

Hello,
While installing AIA FP 2.3 following error occured:
BUILD FAILED
/oracle/app/product/aia/Infrastructure/install/scripts/FPInstall.xml:92: exec returned: 1
Command = /oracle/app/product/oc4j/jdk/bin/java has failed

Obviously java haven't been found. And I'm not wondering about this, because in my case the java directory is situated in /oracle/app/product/oc4j/jdk/jre/bin/
The JAVA_HOME is set to the correct directory. Now my questions are: Where does this path for java comes from? Can I change it anywhere? Or what could I do to avoid this problem?

Hi,
I am getting below error when i try to run

  • AIA Foundation Pack - Configuration Fails

    Hi,
    I am trying to install AIA Foundation pack on top of SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0 (Updated from SOA 11.1.1.2.0). Followed the steps provided in guide 'InstallE11848301.pdf' from Metalink which says following;
    Guide Says_
    5. Apply the AIA-Foundation Pack 11.1.1.2.0 patch 9717829 If you are installing a fresh instance of AIA Foundation Pack 11.1.1.2.0 on SOA 11.1.1.3.0, download the AIA-Foundation Pack 11.1.1.2.0 patch 9717829 and follow the instructions in the document “Installing a fresh instance of AIA FP 11gR1 PS2 on Oracle SOA Suite 11g PS2” before you install AIA Foundation Pack 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0). After installation, apply the patch again as described in readme.txt that comes with the patch.
    We followed the document "Installing a fresh instance of AIA FP 11gR1 PS2 on Oracle SOA Suite 11g PS2" mentioned above and completed all the tasks in it before executing ‘installer’ for an AIA. Started the installer using following command;
    $./runInstaller -jreLoc /var/java6 -novalidation
    Please refer to tho following link for detailed information why I am using '-novalidation';
    AIA Foundation pack...unable to start
    Installation goes fine till last step where installer will configure the entire system and it fails with following error messages in log file;

    Does anyone seen this before. Your help will be appreciated;

    We found the workaround. We ignore the Library not found issue (which usually be in the oraInventory/logs/install*.log but look at oraInventory/logs/install*.out), there will be other error along.

We think this falling into site reference below.

    So we downloaded http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/maven/activesoap/jars/xercesImpl-1.5.jar into $AIA_HOME/lib and $AIA_HOME/inventory/Scripts/ext/jlib. And then the progress bar went to 100%.
    Hope this help!.

  • Building an Integration scenario with the Foundation Pack

    From what I can see most people use AIA so they can make use of the available PIPS.
    Has anybody used just the AIA Foundation pack to build integration scenarios?
    We are experiencing many problems just trying to develope a simple end to end process and wondered if anyone had a simple Do's and DOn'ts, or Step by step guide to developing a scenario.
    There is a lot of documentation and its very difficult to find the relevant information as it seems to be spread across multiple docs.
    Stuart

    We have made some small progress using the Foundation Pack 2.3.
    I thought i'd share some of my experiences for others who are having problems and finding it difficult to get info.
    We used the Artifcat Generater which creates the ABCS (BPEL process).
    We found several issue:
    1. In ABCS Requester (which calls an EBS implemented as an ESB process) - Partner Links did not work. We were getting Invalid Port Type errors (i will post the error message when i'm back in the office), but on close inspection everything looked ok but just did not work. The simple work around was to delete the Partner Link and re-enter it manually. I wasted days investigating this problem and ended up creating my own test BPEL process calling the EBS to prove it was configured correctly.
    2. The XSL stylesheets could not be tested in JDEV. We ended up commenting out many of the generated XSL templates (generated by the Artifact Generater), the main culprit seems to be GetSenderNode template, haven't got to the bottom of the issue but ended up commenting out much of the code, specifically the aia.Getxxxxxx functions. Once I get time and find more information i'll post my findings.
    Good luck.

    Hi Walter:
    how r u?
    Basically the issue is related when u apply patch 6640838 to upgrade OUI. If u don't do the following, u get into the error u described in ur post:
    1. Before u install patch #6640838 , u need to be sure to rename the OPatch directory under $ORACLE_HOME. Once u do that, u can proceed with the application of patch 6640838.
    2. Then after applying it u can download patch 6880880, in order to have the latest OPatch version (1.0.0.0.63). In this step, u just need to unzip it, and u will have a new OPatch directory under $ORACLE_HOME
    3. After that, u can go and do an "opatch apply" for patches 8533397 and 8644645.
    And that's it, u will get rid of that messy problem.
    I ran into the same issue, but just realized the step that was causing all the problem.
    Hope this helps.

  • Problems installing AIA 2.5 Foundation Pack pre-reqs on SOA 10g

    I am involved in a very large AIA project. I am creating my own environment prior to go to the customer and I have found some issues while installing the pre-reqs for the Foundation Pack on top of Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 (MLR #8) using OC4J.
    I am following the attached doc, in specific these lines:
    Oracle SOA Suite 10 g Release 3 (10.1.3.4 + MLR#8 or later). Use Advanced Installation option and select J2EE, the web server, and Oracle SOA Suite.
    This version of AIA is tested and certified on 10.1.3.4 MLR#8 (Patch 8372150). You need to apply these additional patches over MLR#8:
    * 5507491
    * 7692665
    * 8533397
    Note: Before you apply patch 8533397, perfrom the following tasks.
    1. Download OUI 10.1.0.6.0 (patch 6640838) and install it on the Oracle home with all components listed on screen.
    2. Download latest 10.1 Opatch (Patch 6880880) and install it on the Oracle home.
    * 8644645
    I was able to install MLR#8, and then 5507491,7692665. I also did the pre-reqs for 8533397. But when trying to install 8533397, I got the following:

    I've been trying to install the patch, but it seems OPatch is having some issues with the overlay patches and that is why is throwing that error. I also tried to do it with previous Opatch releases (52 and 62), but I got similar errors.
    Do u have any suggestions?? Is there anything I can do to install those two patches (8533397 & 8644645).
    In my research I noticed that the OPatch is either not being updated correctly, or simply not able to use the overlay patches, and that is why is saying that I need a most updated one. But for an Oracle DB 10.1 system, the latest OPatch version I found was 1.0.0.0.63.
    Any suggestions are welcomed,

    Use higher versions of OUI Installer and OPatch - 10.2 or above

  • Utils import config command failed on CUCM8.6.1

    I've created cucm861sub.flp file and uploaded it to the datastore on ESXi 4.1, then mapped to the floppy, i.e. I followed procedure on cisco wiki to the last letter. Still, after applying command I'm receiving following error: "Cannot locate configuration file"
    I've used Winimage to crate 1.44MB floppy that contains only one file, called platformConfig.xml (file was downloaded directly from CCO).
    Was anybody able to apply successfully new identity feature?

    I opened a TAC case and found this is a bug.  CSCtx55507 :utils import config" is failing.
    these are the call manager versions that has the fix for this issue:  8.6(2.10000.30), 8.6(1.98000.87), 8.6(1.98000.39) or any later  version.

    this problem is due to hard-coded user/pwd in installation scripts. Here are steps
    1) open file AIA_HOME/Infrastructure/install/wlscripts/FPWLCommonConfig.xml
    2) reach to target CreateStartupClasses
    3) there are three java tasks for com.oracle.oems.weblogic.AQJMSPasswordUtility
    4) in the task for oraesb, password is hardcoded as 'oraesb' in clear text.
    5) this should be password of 'ORAESB' database user.
    6) change this password value; and restart the installation.

  • I can't find the Foundation Pack 11.1.1.4.0 demo

    Hi,
    I installed Foundation Pack(FP) 11.1.1.4.0 for Linux x86 according to the following installation and upgrade guide.
    For installation option I chose the "Complete Install".
    Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation and Upgrade Guide for Oracle Application Integration Architecture
    Foundation Pack 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) Part Number E17949-02
    After completing the installation I can't find the directory $AIA_HOME/samples.
    In the installation guide of the FP 11.1.1.2.0, there is the chapter about deploying FP demo.
    But there isn't it in the installation and upgrade guide FP 11.1.1.4.0.
    Oracle Application Integration Architecture Foundation Pack 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0): Installation Guide Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) Part No. E17360-01
    Isn't the demo originally included in FP 11.1.1.4.0?
    Best Regards,
    Mineaki

    Hi,
    I am also looking for the AIA demo for the 11.1.1.4 version.
    Do you know the exact date, when it will be available on OTN?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Karoly

  • 7920 Config utility ver 3.0 Problem Connecting to Phon

    Using the 7920 Config Utility 3.0. I have my 7920 phone Im trying to program... The system goes ONLINE to the phone just fine, but when I try to export the config to the phone, I get an ERR 300 "TFTP FAILS IN IMPORTING CONFIGURATION FILE." Then TFTP Server Port Number:69 , Connection Reset By Phone.
    I cannot get it to work and its very frustrating... any help is appreciated!!!

    Please be sure you are following the Installation guide for 7920 config utility.7920 USB NIC is supposed to be set for DHCP. Also ensure you are not running any TFTP server application on the PC that will also use port 69.The Configuration Utility has limited DHCP server capabilities. If the USB interface of the Cisco Wireless IP Phone 7920 is set to DHCP, the IP address should be 192.168.1.X to allow network communication between the Cisco 7920 Wireless IP Phone and the PC. The config utility will assign an IP to the PC's USB NIC.

  • Application Integration Architecture Foundation Pack on Oracle Service Bus

    The paper on the Oracle web site from December 2008 titled "Application Integration Architecture Foundation Pack on Oracle Service Bus" is an interesting read. The technology roadmap makes it clear the OSB is the future and current "old" ESB supported by AIA is going on the scrap heap. Now I know the OSB is not a supported platform for even the latest foundation pack so I wonder about why this paper was published. Is Oracle indicating foundation pack v 2.2.x support on OSB? Is it published as a "this is something to look forward to" type document? I honestly wonder since there are some pretty specific instructions on how to get it working and the authors are senior thought leaders for the AIA product.
    RICH
    2/04/08 Update - I see that with the AIA 2.3 release that Oracle Service Bus did not make the list of supported technology.

  • Trying to confiq cisco bridge WET200. connected to macbook ethernet port. entered 192.168.1.226 for config util. Times out.

    I am trying to configure (due to WEP code on my wireless network) Cisco bridge WET200 for use in my home theater. To configure, I connected to ethernet port of macbook OS 10.6.8. Entered IP address 192.168.1.226 for config utility but it times out. Cisco says I need either IE or firefox. Downloaded firefox but still fails. Has anyone had experience with this?

    Found that if I clean up DNS for my domain with PTR and A then everything started working properly after a rebuild.

  • (Mac) iPhone Config Utility Locking Up?

    Trying to use iPhone Config Utility to add web clips and restrictions to class set of 32 iPod Touches.  Keep getting locking up for freezing if I go above 2 web clips in the same profile.  Anyone else experienced this?
    Details:
    I am using a Macbook running OS 10.6.7 / Using iPhone Config Utility 3.3 / Tried putting profiles on 5th Gen iPod Touches running both iOS 4.3.1 and 4.3.2
    Created a profile and made some random settings and web clips; tried to install to the tethered "FPTouch-001" device.  I would either get a "Profile Install Failed" dialog box or the IPCU program would completely lock up.
    I scaled things back and created a "simpler" profile with just 3 web clips for school related websites; same result - IPCU would lock up or would get the "Profile Install Failed" box.
    Scaled things back even more and just did a profile with 1 web clip -- that took to the device.
    Worked up from there, added a 2nd web clip, that took to the device just fine.
    When I got back to adding a 3rd web clip, the profile would not take to the device.
    Tried 4 web clips thinking maybe 3 was just a cursed number -- no go.
    Tried a different device "FPTouch-002" and that device reacted the same.
    Just baffled.  Not sure why the IPCU is not cooperating.  Thoughts? ideas? Similar instances? Resources?
    Thanks for reading this and for any help you can offer.
    Chad

  • 3gs is not recognized by iTunes or iPhone config. utility.

    my 3gs is only running 3.1.2, when trying to run the config utility i got the error code 0xE8000065, iTunes gave me error code kAMD Read Eror. im running windows 7. Any help with this would be terrific! Thanks

    I have the same problem with my iPhone 4 - since updating to iTunes 10.1.1 I my iPhone is not recognised by iTunes. I have reinstalled and done all of Apple's suggestions up to the point of messing with the deep settings in Windows (I'm not confident that I won't mess up other things if I do this). The computer recognises the iPhone but iTunes ignores it. Come on Apple - how about a simple fix that doesn't require a nerdy ability to delve into the depths of software settings!
