[AIR 3.2 BUG] flash.media.scanHardware stop working.

From the adobe air Air 3.2 release day, a lot of support calls comeing in. Customer can't see any cameras in the our software!
Today, I find the problem. Adobe Air scanHardware() function stop working!!!!!

It worked well in 3.1
Could you please stop customer automatically updates to Air 3.2 until it's really tested? I also have a lot of trouble in another bug.http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981856

Thanks for the heads up on the AIR 3.2 issue with scanHardware(). I've verified this with a test app. Could you please open a bug over at bugbase.adobe.com and let me know the bug number? I'll link it to my internal bug that I'll be opening shortly.

Flash Media Server stopped working

Hello All,
I am new to FMS and have been working on Flash Media Development Server.
My Setup:
I have a FMS and HTTP server on one machine A and all my swf's were kept there. I had one more machine B in a network, from which I was testing the swf's on Machine A.
Everything was running fine, until suddenly I could not access the swfs from Machine B.
Moreover, when i checked the Admin console in machine A, there was no client (referring Machine B) was connected to the FM Development Server.
What could have happened sosuddenly. In the swf that i tried connecting from Machine B, I debugged and found out that the swf was not able to connect to the FMS. (NetConnection.Connect.Failure)
Please help me.

Yes, I am referring the Machine A with its IP and the IP is static (at times if it changes, i make the necessary changes), so that part is clear.
And as far as the network level changes, i wonder, because till yesterday everything was working perfectly alright with the same conditions. It just suddenly started responding weird.
I had only enabled some port forwarding in my router and had included a virtual directory in webroot.
however, when i reverted back to my original settings, even then the same code ceases to work.

How can I use the function flash.media.scanHardware() ?
I tried the following 3 items:

Please first take a check with the other Players and see if they could play the MP4 file normally. If it can't be played, which means it might be corrupted. You may ask at the Bandicam side, or save the files again.
If issue insists, take a try with the Troubleshooter (For Windows 7, 8 and 8.1):
Open the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter
Fix Windows Media Player video, and other media or library issues
Or you may try to turn Windows Features on or off to reset Windows Media Player:
Turn Windows features on or off (Before turn it on again, please remember to reboot first)

All of a Sudden, My Flash Player Has Stopped Working

Early Friday afternoon (just yesterday), my Flash Player was working fine. I am using Mozilla's Firefox on a Windows 7 computer (Dell Inspiron 530S). Then, inexplicably, it failed. Several websites reported that something couldn't be displayed because I didn't have Adobe's Flash Player installed. Gotta tell you, I wasn't making any changes to the operating system nor to the browser. In fact, I wasn't changing ANY of my settings on ANY computer. Then Friday evening, Flash Player simply stopped working.
I UN-installed the existing program, re-booted, then RE-installed Flash Player and, again, there is no message saying INSTALLED SUCCESSFULLY. Could any of these be a delayed result of the the latest version of Firefox, which was released on 9/30/2011, about a week ago?
Now, I can't even install the Acrobat after uninstalling IT.
Any ideas?

Flash Player has stopped working...over and over again!

I get this message whenever I try and watch a video, same message for any page that uses flash, same message no matter which browser I'm using. This problem began with version 10, and I was using older versions of Flash Player until the other day when it would no longer work due to security issues--the message was that the older version of flash would no longer work...I needed to update the player. So, I did, and we're back to the same problem of Flash Player has stopped working message popping up over and over again. It doesn't seem to be the browsers since I get the same message in all of them. Possibly it is the hardware acceleration, but the two pathways to disabling hardware acceleration don't work. When I try to see the current version (so I can right click and get to settings), the version won't show. The other strategy, right cliking on the video, also won't work because the video won't show after Flash Player has stopped working. My graphics card is a Radeon x1950, and I'm running 32 bit Vista Home Premium. There is a ton of information on line about dealing with a balky flash player, but nothing that seems to address this problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. RAS

One more thing....when I go to Flash Player Find Version page, the video does not show up, nor does the version....two big blank spaces. But Flash Player is installed.

3 weeks after installing Yosemite Flash Player has stopped working

Hi Apple Community,
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
I installed OSX Yosemite about 4 weeks ago, no problems until now.
Just this week Flash Player has stopped working on an education site I belong to.
The college say there's no problem at their end or for the other students.
I am using Chrome which I understand updates Flash Player automatically; has there been an update this week or something that might have caused this problem?
I have tried every suggestion I can find on the internet:
- uninstalling Flash
- tried using Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera
- installing the latest Flash
- Rebooting
- checking Flash is installed (it is)
Is there anything else I can try?
Or is Flash simply not compatible with Yosemite now?

No problems with Flash on Safari 8 with Yosemite here so try testing with Safari.
First, make sure Allow Plug-ins is selected in Safari > Preferences > Security
Then from your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Then delete the cache. Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that doesn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

Media Encoder stopped working: Software is not even opening [CS6]

Hi!
I'm using the Student version of CS6 and for some reason Media Encoder stopped working.
Every time I open it up, e.g. by opening the Stand alone version or adding a project to the queue, the splash screen shows up but Windows (7) shows an error.
Windows is trying to fix the problem but can find a solution.
Surprisingly I have no problems on another user account.
I hope someone is able help me...

Please try holding Ctrl + Shift keys while you are launching AME CS6. This will clear the preferences info which may have been corrupted somehow.

the plugin for win media player is already installed and working fine in FF 6.02 before upgrade. i have Google this issue without any result so far. so i reinstalled the old version 6.02, until fix is found.

The issue was not with FF 7.01. VLC player version 1.11.1 is conflicting with windows media player when FF 7.01 tries to play media files! Which was not happening before in FF 6.02.
VLC and plugin media player need to be uninstalled first, then uninstalled FF 6.02. Install FF 7.01 and then win plugin media player again.

Well, I have my XH A1 Canon video camera hooked up to Shuttle Thundbolt as composite and the thunderbolt to my Macbook Pro (Late 2011 - 2.4GHz, i7, 16GB Ram) and FLM 3.2 does not see my camera.
When I hook my same camera up to my Windows i7, 2.8Ghz, 8GB Ram using my "Hauppauge capture card" as composite it can see my camera.
I'm going to try a simple VHS tape deck and see if my macbook pro can see it using the Shuttle Thunderbolt. I'm going to guess and say it won't.
I installed the drivers as well.
