AIR Packager Unknown Error.

ive got one big project in adobe AIR for desktop and android and suddenly, ive got this error when exporting :
Error creating files
Unknown Error
Unexpected failure : unable to create output file....
Export to Android was working well before, ive made no big changes to project before this. Export to AIR 2.6 for desktop is OK. Error happens while in the final "packaging" state of exporting. This is really uncomfortable, especially with project, that needs to be finished very soon.
Thanks for every help
Richard

So i have created new .fla and copied library and settings from the old one, now it is working. Do you have some ideas, what could damage the original one ?

  • I cant log onto app store through my macbook air - an unknown error keeps occuring

    Ive been trying to log onto the app store and i cant manage to get on - the system keeps saying that there is an unknown error when i try to log on. I have tried to do the whole reset the system using the alt and power button (i bought this mac second hand so i also want to restore to factory settings). I was thinking that the reason app store wouldnt work is because the previous user might not have reset the system properly? i can log onto all the other applictions with my apple ID perfectly fine, its just with the app store. any help is hugely appreciated!!!

    The first thing you should do with a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. How you do that depends on the model. Look it up on this page to see what version was originally installed.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc, which you can get from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. I suggest you install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for some MacBook Air models. If you don't have the media, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
    To boot from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
    Once booted from the disc or in Internet Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive, which is what you should do.
    After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
    You should then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. If you want to upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, buy it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
    If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Apple customer service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
    If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able toauthorize it under your ID. In that case, contact iTunes Support.

  • AIR 15.0 for OSX - ADT: Packaging failed. Packager internal error

    Packaging a SWF to AIR with captive runtime and native installer (using "-package bundle"), building on PC worked perfectly fine.  After making all of the requisite changes to make it work for Mac, I'm now running into the "Packaging failed. Packager internal error" when building using adt through the command line.  My .command script is as follows:
    cd [directory]
    adt -package -storetype pkcs12 -keystore ../cert/key.p12 -storepass pw -target bundle Bundle ../App.xml App.swf -extdir ../lib icons/16.png icons/32.png icons/128.png
    What can cause this vague "Packger interal error" error? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Steve
    I have same problem with apple Developer Id Application certificate (downloaded from apple), got past the chain error message by including intermediate and root certificates when I exported from keychain, but got the package error referenced here. Also when I sign on windows machine with my code signing certificate (selecting windows installer) all publishes ok, but the certificate is not attached, says 'unknown developer' when I down load and try and run installer on windows machine. I sent the exe to Comodo (the guys I got the code signing certificate from) and they say the exe is not signed.
    Finally I get 'The digital certificate is invalid'  error when I try and use 'Developer Id Installer' certificate (downloaded from apple).
    I think there must be several problems here with Air SDK.
    Stopping me from publishing and I have a very upset Customer. Can someone from Adobe please advise asap.

    When I try to sign in to the Air app store, I get an 'unknown error' message.  I can sign in to iTunes just fine.  Any suggestions?

    Fixed the problem by going to settings/store and logging out with apple ID.  Then logged back in with password and updates, apps, and iTunes store seem to work ok now.

    After I upgraded to Mavericks I was also having this message when I tried to update. There was a previous post about this problem which offered this simple solution which worked for me:

    Got it! Thanx.  What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed.

  • "Unknown error has occurred" in MacBook Air App Store

    Hi,
    When I try to log onto the App Store from my used MacBook Air, it says "unknown error has occured" and doesn't allow me to move forward. I have read that these typs of issues (I am having problems with logging into the computer with my Apple ID and FaceTime as well) can be fixed once upgrading to Mountain Lion, but I cannot upgrade if I cannot connect to the store.
    So, how do I go about entering the store without making an alternate ID?
    Thanks!

    Hi rob8up,
    How long ago did you speak to the techs? Have you given them (meaning Apple) enough time to rectify this issue? If not, chill out. If so, then we can't help you here. We are just users like you....
    You can send feedback to Apple via this link:

  • Air packager errors

    We are exploring using RoboHelp Packager for Air. We have a RoboHelp 7 project version controlled in RoboSource. I compiled the help files and began generating the air compile. It seemed to copy the .htm files OK but when it got to the images it stopped compiling and I received the following error:
    "The Adobe Air Packager could not be generated. WebHelp folder could not be copied."
    I deleted that image and began generating again. Adobe Air "choked" on the next image in line. Did anyone elser ever have this problem?
    Thanks.
    Bill

    Hi Bill
    Perhaps the images are in a read only status? The only suggestion I can think of to try is to open Windows Explorer. Select all files in the WebHelp output folder and ensure they are all writable.
    Or you could define a new layout and generate to a folder not under source control. Then run the packager against that.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Unknown errors during manual software update package installation

    Hi,
    I'm new to the forum.
    Recently I've got a serious trouble while installing standalone update packages from disk image files.
    After typing my username and password to update my OS manually my computer suddenly fails to install the software packages saying that "the installer has encountered an unknown error which caused the installation to fail."
    I've an early 2009 Mac Mini which I bought during the first half of that year. The problem affects all versions of Mac OS X (10.5 and later). It's normal? I've tried everything (permissions repair, SMART check) to fix the problem with no luck. Now I suspect the issue has something else with bad memory or a faulty hard disk.
    How curious, System Graph had put a new Super Drive on it because the original had its laser head damaged due to extensive use.
    Cheers,
    John

    FIXED!
    Many DMG executables failed to install because their certificates were outdated.
    To resolve the problem: uncheck the automatic time setting box and set the clock to an early date.

  • HT3415 When im installing the bundle package, it says an unknown error has occurred. What do i do?

    When im installing the iLife bundle package, it says an unknown error has occurred. What do i do?

    Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
    Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
    Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
    (Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

    Hey joshuafromisr,
    If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:
    Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925
    or here:
    Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

    I am seeing a very similar output trying to make a netrestore image of a 10.8.4 Macbook Air on a 10.8.4 Mac Mini running OSX Server.  Gets to 84% and then shows the -1 progress and then just hangs until I cancel it (I haven't tried leaving it over night but left it that way for hours).
    Did you ever figure out what was going on or have a workaround to create an image?
    Thanks!

  • ORA-28750 Unknown Error while trying to execute an external app's API call?

    New to using web services in PLSQL
    Environment
    Database: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi
    PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
    CORE 10.2.0.4.0 Production
    TNS for Linux IA64: Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
    App Server:
    RedHat ES 3.0 and Oracle Application Server 9.0.4 (IAS release 1)
    We are designing a plsql application, that is able to call an external application's webservice APIs. We have created an oracle wallet for this, where we have successfully imported the corrrect security certificate issued by the API provider.
    All we are trying to do is to call one of the methods (LOGIN), which should login the provided user into the application and should return a valid session id. For this, I have a function, http_request, which first establishes the request to the URI. The code is failing at this call, with following error:
    ORA-29273: HTTP request failed
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1029
    ORA-28750: unknown error
    I could not find more information on ORA-28750..?
    Here is the function cal, in our application package:
    FUNCTION http_request(
    p_uri IN VARCHAR2,
    p_method IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT 'GET',
    p_http_version IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL
    RETURN UTL_HTTP.req IS
    v_request UTL_HTTP.req;
    BEGIN
    v_request := UTL_HTTP.begin_request(p_uri, p_method, p_http_version);
    IF v_session_id IS NOT NULL THEN
    UTL_HTTP.set_header(v_request, 'SessionID', v_session_id);
    END IF;
    RETURN v_request;
    END http_request;
    Here is my anonymous block, where I tested the function with the URI parameters
    declare
    v_request UTL_HTTP.req;
    begin
    UTL_HTTP.set_wallet('file:/etc/ORACLE/WALLETS/attask', '<pwdforattask>');
    v_request := pkg_attask_api.http_request('https://streamsandbox.attask-ondemand.com/attask/api/login?username=<valid_user_name>&password=<valid_pwd>','GET',NULL);
    end;
    Please note that user name and passwords used for the above test have been tested to be correct. When I login to web interface of the URL, these values work fine.
    Any help is appreciated as I am close to hitting the wall on this!
    Thanks for your time and expertise,
    Suma

  • Tour Smartphone 9630 not synching. Getting "unknown error message"

    After 6 months of no problems, I am now unable to sync my Blackberry to my computer. I am getting an "unknown error message" what's going on?

    Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
    "Unknown" -- that is what is going on.
    But seriously folks...that error is one of the hardest to diagnose...so here's what I suggest:
    I suggest the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
    1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
    2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:
    KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
    3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:
    https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
    Choose the version that is newest and (if applicable) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):
    KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager for synchronization
    4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your device OS package from your carrier:
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    5) Install DTM to your PC
    6) Install (also to your PC), the device OS package
    7) Start the organizer configuration over:
    KB17022 How to configure organizer applications for synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager
    Hopefully that will get things going again.
    Good luck and let us know!

  • Setting up Match or Genius: An unknown error occurred (-54).

    New Macbook Air w/ Lion and iTunes 10.5.1.
    Brand new iTunes, no media files or previous settings imported.  Just signed up for iTunes match and while i was able to sign up (got charged) when I try to "Add this Computer" and sign in, I *instantly* get a pop up of: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request.  An unknown error occurred (-54). There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later."
    Initially I thought this was just a bug with launch, and waited until I got home and tried on my iMac... Here I was able to scan my library and get about 8500 songs into iTunes Match.  Going back to the Macbook Air, same issues.
    This has been over 48 hours of this now, and in the mean time I have:
    1) Removed the entire iTunes directory from my home folder to create new configs.
    2) Reinstalled 10.5.1 several times
    3) Tried putting just one song into iTunes to see if there was an issue here
    4) Ensured that OS has all available updates.
    5) Ensured that App firewall in System Preferences is off.
    6) Created a new profile all together.
    7) Logged in with different iTunes account.
    8) Verified that I can make socket connection with 80 and 443 to all listed Apple servers as seen at: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3125
    9) Tried from different networks.
    Interestingly, this may not be related to only Match, as I am now finding that I cannot get Genius to turn on either.
    The only additional point here is that this is a company image, however the company I work for has verified that there is nothing in the config that should be preventing iTunes from reaching out to any Apple servers or preventing this from working.
    Anyone have any thoughts, or similar issues?

    Negative.  Apple does not seem to be concerned with this issue... which the ability to use *multiple* computers with iTunes Match is the entire reason that I purchased it in the first place.  At this point, the service is 100% usless to me.
    I do understand that they may be a bit light staffed over this holiday week, so I will give them through early next week.  After that, I will turn to social networking (twitter, FB) about our support experience, or lack of.  I don't understand how Apple, or any company, can justify $250+ Apple Care with this level of support. Luckily, I am within my 90 days of purchase, but obviously will not be purchasing any Apple Care in the future.
