Photoshop CSS

I had a hard disk crash, and I need to download Photoshop version CSS.  Where can I download it?
Thanks!

Assuming you mean CS5, you can use this method:
Direct Download Links for Adobe Software
Follow the instructions to the letter or else you'll get problems and warnings. Using a reliable browser such as Firefox is recommended.

  • Photoshop css quits unexpectedly

    Everytime I close PSCSS, I get the message and log file "photoshop css quits unexpectedly" The only started to occur when I upgraded to PSCC. Does anyone have any idea how to help?

    There should be an uninstaller in the CS4 folder if the disc won't work.
    You can also download a fresh installer from here: Download CS4 products instead of using the original discs.
    Have your serial number handy.
    This is the link to the CS/CC Cleaner for any uninstall/install problems
    Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

    Could you please post screenshots to illustrate the issue?
    Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

  • Confused new user: ACR - PS CSS standard - bridge - aperture

    I am a mac user, latest OS Lion, and use aperture 3.0 - I only use this for photography and a friend convinced me to use PS for high level retouching.
    I watched a few presentation and was convinced, I ordered Photoshop CSS 5.5 standard version (not extended) and I am waiting for it. Purchase processing will take another 2 weeks
    I downloaded the trial for PS, but it is the extended version, not sure what I will not be able to do
    also watched a few training movies and presentation material and they all refer to Camera Raw which seems to be a separate application.
    There is also bridge and mini bridge (?) included but is it only in extended trial and will I get it in my standard PS CSS 5.5
    I would like to keep using aperture for my workflow and storage.
    Do I need to purchase camera raw or is it included in my PS standard?
    or do I perform the functions of CR in Aperture?? There seem to be a number of basic functions with curves etc... which I believe can be done in aperture but then are my files compatible to send to PS?
    I think I will use the Edit with external editor in Aperture
    Is anyone familiar with this? advise?
    thanks a lot for your help

    Yikes, Jeffrey!    One can do exactly that directly from Adobe Camera Raw hosted by either Photoshop or Bridge too!
    One doesn't need "no stkinkin' Lightroom" for that.
    ==============================
    Bernard,
    There is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do in Lightroom or in Aperture that you cannot do to an image file in Photoshop and ACR.
    Lightroom is great for a professional fashion photographer who has to process 500 very similar images from a studio shoot, but again, there is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do in Lightroom or in Aperture that you cannot do to a single image file in Photoshop and ACR.

  • How do I download fonts for CSS?

    I recently attended a seminar that talked about PhotoShop CSS and the ability to download free fonts directly from Adobe. I have looked all over, and I cannot find this feature. In the seminar, it looked like the instructor went to a menu in PhotoShop, connected to Adobe, and downloaded and installed a font directly into CSS.
    However, I can't figure it out.  I did try to download and install a font from a third party server that seemed okay from the Google pages that I researched. But that somehow added a whole bunch of junk to my computer and I couldn't access the font anyway. I actually uninstalled the font.
    Does anyone know how this feature works? If not, I have seen some posts about fontsquirrel, but I am nervous to install anything after my last experience.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you so much!

    Hi mdonnadesigns,
    I think you mean "Photoshop CC." CSS fonts are an entirely different thing, sorry for the confusion.
    All Creative Cloud members have access to font files from Typekit. More information here: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/sync-fonts.html

    I Have An Apple iMac With 21.5in Screen And I'm Wondering Can I Download And Use The Latest Version Of Adobe Photoshop CSS On My Mac? Here Is The Specifics Of My Computer For You.... Thank You For Your Quick Reply!! Bobfari

  • Buying new iMac, which graphics card would be best?

    I'm getting ready to buy a new iMac. I already have a 2010 27-in with a Radeon HD 5670 512 MB graphics (card? was built in as I remember). I need an additional iMac for my studio space and am deciding between the 21.5-in. w/ Intel Iris Integrated graphics and the NVIDIA GEForce graphics models. I do photography and art related video projects with music (Final Cut, Photoshop CSS, Logic Pro).
    The 2010 iMac has worked fine for me. Which of the new iMacs would you recommend? Do I need extra dedicated graphics card or is the Intel Iris pretty comparable to what I've been getting with the Radeon?
    I wouldn't mind saving a couple of hundred dollars to use on other things like a back up drive, but if it's going to be a big difference I could spend the extra $ for the NVIDIA.
    I'm not a gamer BTW.
    thanks for your input, tech-heads!
    Christine

    Although the processor speed is slower, the i5 is much more efficient
    than the i3.  In addition, the memory bus speed is faster than your
    2010.  The result is you will have a faster computer.
    Just for some performance numbers, here are the Geekbench
    scores for your current computer and the one you are considering.
    (64 bit single core test score/64 bit multi core test score)
    2010, i3, 3.2 GHz iMac ---> 2086/4491
    late 2013, 21.5", i5, 2.7 GHz ---> 3172/10255

    I have a SEND TO set up in win7pro 64bit. This works fine for Photoshop css 5, but with Elements 11. the editor starts but the image is not loaded.
    OPEN WITH works fine.
    What do I need to do do to correct this?

  • Photoshop CC: Copy CSS doesn't work when text is styled as paragraph

    I'm using the most recent version of photoshop, CC-14.0, on a Mac running OSX 10.8.4
    I'm finding that the "copy css" function does not work if a paragraph is styled with a custom paragraph style. In other words any text that is not styled as "basic paragraph" or "basic paragraph+".
    I can copy css from a text block with a custom paragraph style, but the css is wrong. It doesn't reflect the attributes I have set up in my custom paragraph style. Instead it writes out the default "basic paragraph" style. If I copy the css from a text block styled as "basic paragraph+" it writes the css correctly.
    This is disappointing because it defeats the purpose of being able to create paragraph and character styles (like in InDesign).
    This is a bug or oversight, right? Is there a reason why it should work this way?

    This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/copy-css-shape-or-text.html

    There is no way to have this option without creative cloud?  This feature has nothing to do with the cloud.  Why are photoshop versions fracturing in this manner?
    Dont' be surprised. It's been Adobe's strategy since the Cloud was launched last year.
    The extra Cloud-only features are designed to make the Cloud more and  more attractive. The new features have little or no connection to Cloud functionality itself, they're just desirable new features designed to add value to the Cloud apps and make perpetual licensed customers want them.(Seems to be working).
    Adobe has said that Cloud-only features in the CS6 cycle will be introduced into the next paid-for perpetual license upgrade (probably CS7) - but Cloud members will always get early access to them.
    Same applies to new Cloud-only features introduced in other Cloud apps such as Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

  • Photoshop sliced layout output are table base,  do it can control the position by CSS with div?

    Dear all,
    I have make some image in Photoshop, and sliced it to html
    page, but open it in dreamweaver it show me the table layout that
    Photoshop Sliced maked ..
    I am wonder, now many web site are integration with CSS, and
    I had saw some total using CSS with div maked Web Site, how to
    control the sliced image after that Photoshop sliced it?
    Any simple example for newbie reference?
    And sorry of my poor English.

    It seems you have exported the html from photoshop into
    Dreamweaver.
    This is not the best way to build a page. You should slice up
    your images
    and then export the images only into a folder. You then build
    the page
    using these exported images in your table or css layout. You
    can place the
    images directly into table cells or divs or use them as
    background images
    via css.

  • Photoshop CS3 to Dreamweaver CS3 CSS question

    Hi all,
    I am sorry if this is allready dicussed a couple of times.I did a search and just could not find it. When I export a site from Photoshop CS3 to DIV (generate CSS by ID) it is aligned to the left and all DIV's have a specific position on the page. How can I get my site to center in Dreamweaver CS3 without having to adjust al separate DIV's?
    For Example: When I export from Photoshop all slices are exported as folowed.
    #Table_01 {
    position:absolute;
    left:auto;
    top:0px;
    width:832px;
    height:562px;
    right: auto;
    #test-13 {
    position:absolute;
    left:275px;
    top:26px;
    width:9px;
    height:189px;
    #test-14 {
    position:absolute;
    left:284px;
    top:26px;
    width:128px;
    height:98px;
    I know how to make a DIV center (with Margin auto left and right) but I do not know how to center all DIV's at once.
    I hope you are willing to help me with this. In case you have more questions let me know.

    The answer is to not let Photoshop write either your HTML or your CSS for you.  What you show is a disaster waiting to happen, really, and is characteristic of the kind of mess produced by any wizard that writes HTML based on a graphic layout.  Use your graphics editors to produce your graphics.  Build your page in DW.  It's a much better way to go.

    Leaving your page with all absolutely positioned elements is really asking for trouble, but here's how to make them all center at once -
    Change this -
    </head>
    to this -
    <style type="text/css">
    #wrapper { width:760px; margin:0 auto;position:relative; }
    /* 760px will display on an 800px screen maximized browser window without */
    /* horizontal scrollbars. Change as needed */
    </style>
    </head>
    change this -
    <body ...>
    (the ellipsis represents any other attributes that might be mentioned in the body tag, and SHOULD NOT BE INCLUDED EXPLICITLY!)
    to this -
    <body ...>
    <div id="wrapper">
    and this -
    </body>
    to this -
      <!-- /wrapper -->
    </div>
    </body>
    and see if that helps.
