Alarm woke me an hour early this morning (unrelated to DST I believe)

I have it set to 8am weekdays and for the first time (I've had iphone4 for about five months now) it woke me up an hour early - at 7am. Yes, I've confirmed everything - there's no mistake it woke me up an hour early. The iOS is 4.3.1.
What gives? I had heard about daylight savings time problems, but this is May 23 here in the US so should be no problems on that front.
I hope Apple fixes this. That one hour before work is "precious"...

I've read, on another post regarding the same problem, that if recurring alarms are set an hour before the user wants them to go off (i.e. you want to get up at 8 every monday, set it for 9 and to repeat every monday) then this works. I have tried this, and it does work. However, is this problem going to rectify itself? Or is there any other way of rectifying it so that the alarm can be set for the proper time.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
To cause Mail to display outgoing attachments as icons instead of in-line, you can open Terminal.app and insert this command:
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing 1
To enable in-line attachments again once disabled (so attachments again appear as documents displayed in-line, not icons):
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing 0

Flip the Ring/Silent switch to put iPhone in ring mode or silent mode .
In ring mode, iPhone plays all sounds. In silent mode, iPhone doesn’t ring or play alerts and other sound effects.
Important: Clock alarms, audio apps such as Music, and many games play sounds through the built-in speaker, even when iPhone is in silent mode. In some areas, the sound effects for Camera and Voice Memos are played, even if the Ring/Silent switch is set to silent.

Use Do Not Disturb. You can also silence calls, alerts, and notifications using Do Not Disturb. Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open Control Center, then tap the Do Not Disturb button . See Do Not Disturb.

Alarm goes off 1 hour early

Does anyone know how fix the problem with the iphone alarm? My alarm sounds an hour early.

hey guys, i to am having this problem, i have rest my phone, deleted my alarms and changed my time zones. so basically ive played around with all of the suggestions and still isnt working. this did start till 2 or 3 days ago... whats the deal here? am i going to have to send this thing in? my sister and i have the same phone oon the same carrier and got in the same day but shes not having these issues.. talk about unfair :P

Apple's e-mail stopped working early this morning.

This morning around 2:15am (EST), something changed with my Apple mail, and it cannot be accessed via any method (Mac Mail, iPhone, iPad, or even directly with the iCloud website.) Cannot send or receive. My other non-me.com accounts work fine.
All my iOS devices and Mac Mail tell me "rejected the password", even after restarts, etc.. iCloud simply says "Cannot Load Mail", and quits back to iCloud main screen. In case it was a strange password error, I logged in to https://appleid.apple.com and changed to a new (very secure) password, gave it 10 minutes (hours now), but it still will not work.
I can still log onto my account on apple.com. I can still get into my iTunes Store account, iOS App Store, etc. No other Apple problems, just my email!
I know it happened around 2:15am, because I have a business where it emails me through this account automatically once every 15 min or so, and after 2:15am it stopped. I was in bed asleep at that time, so it shouldn't have been something I did?
I can't find support where other people are having the same problem, so I worry what could have happed? The only thing I can think of, (and this has been in my concern since I first created this account) is that my username (robots) is too similar to the name 'robot', which typically is used for a server maintenance/automated account, and that someday Apple would make me change the account name. Or am I paranoid?
HELP! This is screwing up my business, as none of my incoming order emails are able to be received!

Has your iCloud service also stopped working via web access with your browser, or only in Mail?
I have had no interruption of the iCloud email service during the last several days, nor for that matter before.
More info, please.?

I, am now getting annoyed with i-cloud. I had an express lane discussion with your support group earlier this morning after discovering that the cloud icon wasn't next to music in the left hand side bar.

I, have spent considerable time trying to connect my i-pod touch wirelessly with no success untill I saw on the i-tunes store tab that my i-tunes match was not turned on. I clicked to turn it on and I was asked to add this computer which I have already done. I talked to the Apple support group and they talked me through the set up through add this computer again! But sure enough it worked I had the cloud icon next to music in the left hand side bar and in the store tab i-tune match was turned on and everything seemed to be working.
I, looked again less than half an hour later and i-tunes match was turned off again. I began to turn it on again and now I get asked to pay the i-cloud subscription. How is this resolved?

Alarm went off 1 hour early after DST

I set my iPhone 4 alarm for 3am on Sunday, Mar 10, to catch a 5:45am flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico. My husband did the same on his iPhone 5. Both our alarms went off at 2am. My iPhone said the current time was 2am (which it was, as PR doesn't follow DST) but my husband's phone said it was 3am. Neither of us knew what the correct time was until I checked my wrist watch, which confirmed it was 2am.
Anyone else encounter this issue? I see it's been a problem in previous years.

Just bought the ipad mini and on my mail icon it has a red dot with the number 15. Earlier this morning it said 3 and I checked it and have no new messages. How do I get the red dot off of the icon?

ALARM - why is it an hour later, rather than an hour earlier?

Does anybody know why the alarm is going off an hour late - I would have thought if anything, it should go off an hour early? My alarm used to go off at 7am each day - 7am has now become 6am, and yet the alarm is going off at 8am (which was 9am previously). So if it's working from an internal clock which hasn't changed, my alarm is now going off 2 hours later than a couple of days ago, for no reason! Hope this makes sense?! I might just be being stupid here, but this is really annoying me and I can't find any reason for it anywhere - people just keep saying, 'the iphone thinks it's still BST' but surely that would make the alarm go off an hour earlier?

If there was no adjustment made for the time change it would have gone off early. Probably two programers, working independently, put in adjustment code in different places. Either one of the adjustments would have been correct, but both together made it off one hour in the other direction.
A fix is on the way.

(Daylight saving time should be abolished. If people want different business hours in the summer, change the business hours, not the clocks.)

I updated my phone to 4.1 last night and this morning my Alarm went off 1 hour earlier then normal. It shows 7am but went off at 6am. I bumped it up a few minutes to check it and it won't go off. I'm going to assume because it's still going off an hour earlier. I have 2 morning alarms and one did go off on time. There are some differences between the 2 alarms besides the time.
Working Alarm: Weekdays, strum, snooze on
Non-Working Alarm: Everyday, harp, snooze off
Both worked flawlessly since my previous 3G and this 4G up until the update.

Yup, it's a reported bug for Daylight Savings Time. Apparently, it's going off early in Europe and Australia, who are under DST this past weekend, and here in the USA, which waits until next weekend.

IPhone OS4 alarm went off one hour later than scheduled

I live in the UK and have a weekly alarm normally set for 530 am.
My clock was showing yesterday (Sunday) the right time since daylight savings changed.
I changed the time of the alarm to 458 last evening (ie since the time zone change), and the alarm went off at 558 this morning instead. The clock time is right. The alarm time is showing the time i wanted it to go.
There is a bug with existing alarms carrying forward with changes to DST, even if the alarm is amended.
Please confirm the issue - it meant i missed my weekly flight to Prague this morning !!

Hi there. There seem to be only 2 ways round this at the moment:
1. You just set all the existing saved alarms you have 1 hours earlier or
2. Create a new alarm but DO NOT allocate it to days of the week as this is where the bug come into effect on my phone.
Test it yourself...set an alarm for 2 minutes time with no selected day or anything and it works, but set the alarm with days of the week it is to operate and you will find it then doesn't work!
The guys at Apple told me just to make all alarms 1 hours early, and then the first time I get woken up to early is the day the problem is fixed! :-/

Issues this morning ???

All of the sudden NONE of my secured area passwords are letting our distirbutors login, I tested with one of my own I use and same thing..... They were working early this morning and then reports from the distributors started coming in, so I retested and sure enough, known login/passes are not working any more
Is there something up with the system this morning?
