Hi, Im new in this community. I've this recient error in my server Dell Poweredge R720 :
Object: VCenter - Status: Warning - Name: Health status monitoring
Object: My Host - Status: Alert- Name: Host Processor Status
I need asist for fix this issue. thanks!

For getting Red cross for some objects in SPAU means there are some errors are there in Red cross objects. You need to clear that errors with the help of ABAPer only.

Hi,
The objects during SPAU resolution have a red cross (processor status).Please can anyone explain what this is exactly.
Also in our pre-prod and prod systems during SP upgrade in transaction SPAU we only have some objects with this red cross and there are no objects which needs adjustment.
So please can anyone let me know if still SPAU needs to be carried out in the system.
Please reply ASAP.We are having a dilemma if we need to send these systems to the Developers for SPAU resolution.

Host agent status is unknown for database (DB6) hosts in landscape browser

Hi,
Host status is unknown for database (DB6) hosts in landscape browser.
Trusted connection between DAA and host agent is working and host agent status is also green in Agent admin. SMD_DataEnrichment_Registrator is also registered correctly. But Outside discovery is not working for database in LMDB.
Solution manager:7.1 SP10
Host agent version:172 Patch 178.
Any help on this issue will be appreciated.

Can't Insert VI while Processor Status Window is Open

I've found that you can't drop a VI onto your Block Diagram by chosing "Select a VI..." from your Functions Pallet while the Processor Status window is open. Simply close the Processor Status window, or drag the VI icon onto your block diagram works while the Processor Status window is open. Just a small bug, no biggie.

How do I know HOST command status?

Hi Guys,
I am running a shell script at middle tier (on application server) from web forms using HOST command.
My script may return TRUE or FALSE but executes successfully. Can I catch the True/False status of the script and see it in Forms?
Is there any way to find the HOST command status?

Email alerts for Component Status

I'm working on monitoring our single-server SCCM deployment. I don't have SCOM, so I'm using SNMP and other things to monitor its health. Is seems it would be very nice for SCCM to email me if any component in Component Status is degraded. Is there
a way to do this?
I am also open to other monitoring ideas. I see the "Alerts" section, but there are very few alerts there, and they don't seem terribly useful.

You should configure what alerts to be in Subscription like:
Client status, and Endpoint alerst
Update alerts

SE3510 FC with ALERT "Voltage sensor status"

Hi Experts,
I have one SE3510 FC with Single Raid Controler connected to Sun V440 via HBA (DAS), the system has been working well at production for two years but suddently, Yesterday, SE3510 FC had Audible beep out continueously and I saw only Power/fan LED at Front-panel turned to brinking amber (All rear-panel LEDs of Power Supply Units lit with steady Green ).First step that i tried to test is to run sccli> show event that returning one line as below:
"SES device on Sun Storage Array S/N#02E834 ALERT: CH2 ID2 Voltage sensor status is changed to critical (S9)".
At my knowlege about this message, i supposed that there is one of power supply units is working improperly due to DC output supply unit ??.Or it's required to upgrade firmware for SES device (Existing SES Rev: 1040; Raid Controler's revison : 3.27R) to meet up with any changes related to FRUs( battery module replaced also) before ?.
Pls help me to trouble-shoot this problem.

look for records:

S9 - "sensor 9" belongs to "Lower I/O Module", so I'm not sure that the problem is with power supply ...
Probably it worth to try "replug" Power supplies and RAID Controller.

Satellite A660 - Tempro alerts and waranty status

I have a Toshiba Satellite A660 laptop. Windows 7 64bit.
Initially Tempro worked but I have not had an update since 6th October and my warrantee status now says
"Standard Standard Toshiba Warantee Not Registered"?
Think this must have happened when Tempro advised me on an update to Tempro itsself: updated around 6th October?
I registered my warrantee some moths back, I cannot re-register as I am already registerd,I can confirm my warantee is until August 2011 on toshiba support site.
I can browse and then install toshiba updates but not through Tempro. Infact today I downloaded Tempro 3.3.4 and installed it.
Tempro is enabled and shows my correct serial and model number but still says my Warantee is not registered.
Under Warrantee Status: Warrantee Offers, Help and Register buttons all work but clicking on "Update" button seems to do nothing. If I disconnect my internet then press "update" button there is no percievable difference?
I am sure theres no firewall issue but have put exceptions in for TemproSvc.exe and TemproTray.exe to be sure.
I know Toshiba say wait 5 days for warrantee to show registered but surely that does not refer to when you click the update button but time since when you registered?
Which for me was august/september time.

If its not listed correct you should ask an authorized service provider in your country or contact Toshiba people under [email protected] and explain your situation.

Weblogic.admin script to alert server status

Can anybody share a weblogic.admin utility script for alerting the server status in unix ?

Below is the solaris shell script integrated with weblogic.admin utility....
If the server status is other than running it will sends a alert mail to you.
Sometime your server may be in shutdown mode and if you execute the below script, it says destination not reachable on specified port and then also it sends a alert mail.
Change it according to ur env and execute...

SXMB_MONI: Outbound Status Red (Need Err Message Alerts)

What is the best way to setup meaasge alerts in XI for a red flag in SXMB_MONI in the "Outbound Status" field? We currently have error messageing setup in ALERTCATDEF that will send an error message when the "Status" field is a red flag but I don't know if there is a way to point it to the "Outbound Status" also. We use the following short text in ALERTCATDEF for notification:
System: &SXMS_ERRSRC_SYSNAME&
POS XI Message ID:    &SXMS_MSG_GUID&
POS XI Error Category:    &SXMS_ERROR_CAT&
POS XI Error Code:    &SXMS_ERROR_CODE&
I am thinking tha ALERTCATDEF will only send an alert when the "Status" field is red flag, and may not be possible to point to the "Outbound Status" field".

2 questions here,
1. Are alerts also triggered for outbound errors?
Am not very sure but if i remember correct ,in one of our scenarios when there was an error in SM58 while posting the Idoc ( error on outbound side in MONI ) no alert was triggered. I dont have any access to a server where alerts are working and so would just like to confirm if alerts are triggered also for Outbound side errors or are they triggered only for inbound errors?
2. If they are triggered for both, then wouldnt selectin NO RESTRICTION in where did the error occur suffice?

CCMS Status alert Actived or Action_Failed

I setup CCMS alerts and when I see status its said Action_Failed and some others methods / MTE said action actived but not mial to me.... WHY?

by any chance were your auto reactions based on alerts that were related to GRMG type availability checks. I've been setting up some monitors with auto reactions and have found that the alerts based on the systems that have the SAPCCM4X,SAPCCMSR type agents supplying the RZ20 data for the systems seem to work ok. The alerts when triggered get the emails sent out via SAPCONNECT and out to the internet mail recipient that was defined in the central system auto reaction method.
However, I'm having a problem getting the GRMG based alerts to go out, they stick in the alert monitor with status "ACTION_REQUIRED" and only send the emails after the manual task of initiating the auto-reaction method in the alert monitor is performed. They use the same auto-reaction method as the others which are working ok, so I'm still trying to figure out why these GRMG based alerts are failing to run the auto reaction method unattended.

It is possible to send mail alerts for user status through work flow. use the object type BUS2054 for user status. Maintain the events in the object type.

CCMS alert stays in ACTION_REQUIRED status auto reaction is not triggered

Hello,
We have configured central monitoring infrastructure via Soluton Manager. So we could assign auto reaction methods in RZ21(CEN) to get e-mail notification if an alert occured in satellite systems.
Most of the assigned MTEs trigger mail notification but our problem is that certain MTEs don't trigger the assigned auto reaction and they are stucked in ACTION_REQUIRED status.
All of the application servers have running and connected CCMS agent.
I have read all of the similar forum threads but I couldn't find any relevant answer:

I think the basic configuration should be correct as most of the MTEs can trigger and send out e-mail notification from satelite systems.

Need to find the way to get the actual error message in the alert log.

I have configured OEM 11G and monitoring target versions are from 9i to 11g. Now my problem is i have defined the metrics for monitoring the alert log contents and OEM is sending alert if there is any error in the alert log but it is not showing the actual error message just it is showing as below.
