CCMS Status alert Actived or Action_Failed

Hi, all
I setup CCMS alerts and when I see status its said Action_Failed and some others methods / MTE said action actived but not mial to me.... WHY?
any idea
thanks

Hi Peter,
by any chance were your auto reactions based on alerts that were related to GRMG type availability checks. I've been setting up some monitors with auto reactions and have found that the alerts based on the systems that have the SAPCCM4X,SAPCCMSR type agents supplying the RZ20 data for the systems seem to work ok. The alerts when triggered get the emails sent out via SAPCONNECT and out to the internet mail recipient that was defined in the central system auto reaction method.
However, I'm having a problem getting the GRMG based alerts to go out, they stick in the alert monitor with status "ACTION_REQUIRED" and only send the emails after the manual task of initiating the auto-reaction method in the alert monitor is performed. They use the same auto-reaction method as the others which are working ok, so I'm still trying to figure out why these GRMG based alerts are failing to run the auto reaction method unattended.
Regards,
Brian.

  • Handling error in XI with CCMS and Alert Monitor

    Hello,
I have configured the CCMS for handling XI error and use the auto-reaction method CCMS_Send_Alert_to_ALM for sending an alert when i have for exemple a mapping error.
    The issues are :
    1) When an alert is catched I can send an email or having a notification in the alertinbox but not the both.
    2) When an alert is catched in the CCMS, this alert is in an active status and i can't receive a second alert if another error occurs in XI until i have completed manually the first alert. Is it possible to complet this alert automatically or having more than one alert active for the same node in the CCMS ?
    Regards,
    Vincent.

The alerts are displayed to the recipient in one of the following programs:
.In the Universal Work List (UWL of the Enterprise Portal) as of SAP NetWeaver ’04
    · In an application that accesses the alerts using an API
    · In the Alert Inbox. The Alert Inbox is an application based on Business Server Pages (BSP),which can be called using the transaction ALRTINBOX or the corresponding URL
    (http:///sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox).
There are also a number of external communication methods available. You can configure these in SAPconnect (transaction SCOT) and use them in addition to inform the recipient of an alert about the problem: Internet mail, SMS, and fax.
Just to cross check have you configured your alerts using the below urls:

  • CCMS Status red

    hi ,
Integration engine is in status red in component monitoring .I tried a self test and the CCMS status is red.
I cleared all the alerts in CCMS and repeated selft test.Even then the integration engine is in red and the CCMS too.
Anybody please help to resolve the issue.
    Thnks,
    Am

    Hi,
The alerts contain a status indicator with a color and a numerical value. Yellow means a warning, red means a problem, and the numerical value shows the severity of the reported error.
You can configure the CCMS alert :
    RZ20>>activate maintenance mode>>>Monitor >>create
create a new monitor by copying an SAP monitor
change the rules to include all systems
select your new monitor >>change>>select node ccms_define_r3_system, Edit>>change and change the parameter values for systems
    enablee remote monitoring in RZ21
create a peoperties variant and activate it.
go back i RZ20 and assign methods
you can also define auto reaction method to enable emails in case of alerts. and assign method to a node...

  • Request Status not Activating

    Dear All,
I have created Datasource and DSO and flat file and also created DTP.  If i request perticular request id , its not activating.  request status not activating.
    With Regards,
    Baskaran.

    Hi Baskaran,
    Follow these steps.
Do the loading process as you are doing i.e. using Info package load to PSA, then using DTP to DSO.
Then after loading data, you go to manage. Then Select your green request and then click activate.
A new window will open. There your request will be green. Again select it and click on start (do not click on stop).
Then you will find refresh button there. Click on it. Your green request will turn yellow. Now go on clicking refresh until your request disappears from there. After that close the window.
Then again click on manage. Click on refresh. Now select active data. Your data will be displayed.
    Hope this helps.
    thanks,

  • Fwding Alert in CCMS to Alert Management???

    Hi,
I'm trying to fwd the alerts coming in CCMS to Alert Management System. Both are in the same machine.I follwed the steps given in the SAp help. But i did not get the result. I was not able to do one step which tells us to
"Specify RFC Destination in SALRT1 in Client 0 of CEN...."
When i try to specify it comes as not modifiable in client 000.
Please do help me out in solving it...
    waiting eagerly 4 a soln,
    Sundararamaprasad.

    Hi Sushumna,
I'm specifically talking about CCMS alert management for XI.
The link where i came across
"Specify RFC Destination in SALRT1 in Client 0 of CEN...."
    is http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/e3/bf3b7a8ccb8040b638ff732c551aeb/frameset.htm
it is "Forwarding Alerts to Alert Management (ALM)" document.
In that under the heading "Setting Up a Destination Between the Central Monitoring System and the Alert Management Framework" third point.
I think this will be of some use to help me out.
    waiting eagerly for a solution,

  • Adding alert activity in OSB message flow urgent

    hi,
i added an alert activity in my OSB proj message flow to monitor the process . after deploying the proj in console, i gave inputs. but i am not able to see the alert in operations>dashboard>pipeline alerts . no alert has been written in dashboard.
i have mentioned the alert destination, for alert logging option i have selected yes. can anyone pls hlep he in this issue.
    thanks

Did you enable Pipeline Alerts in the Operational Settings tab of the Proxy? If yes, also select the appropriate level based on the Alert level you had set within the message flow.
Also check the in the SB Console > Operations > Global Settings , that the Enable Pipeline Alerting is selected.
    Thanks,
    Patrick

  • *Plant Maintenance: Urgent: User status ECUS active.*

    Dear Gurus,
One of our customer wanted serial number obligatory in OBD in the repair process. So we made it mandatory in serial number profile.Afterwards he posted some documents. But now he is not able to process those repair orders. He is trying to create OBD and after picking when he tries to post goods issue, system is giving the error as ECUS status is active. And serial number so and so can not be used here.
So again we changed serial number profile from mandatory to optional while doing PGI. still the system is giving the same error. We checked serial number against that material in IQ02. the status is Repaired. So we are not able to understand from where system is picking ecus status. Because the status of the serial number is showing repr not ecus. I am not able to understand where the system is picking ecus status from.
So now his all repair OBD transactions got stucked because of this. Please suggest a solution on highest priority.
He follows the process as given below.
    repair order in VA01.
do inbound delivery where he has to put serial number which is mandatory here.
    PGR.
    after repair,
    OBD
    PGI.
    Thanks,
    Anand

    hi
i think once you have delivered the material ,it will create the equipment master record record stating the status as installed at customer site,
the status you have said i think is user status ,if so kindly change the user status and proceed with the above said procedure
revert back with any further queries

  • Communicator status alerts, sends mails to myself on outlook

    Hello All,
I want to moniter the login and logout times of my employees on outlook, and do not want to use any hardware/software that may be inconvenient. Is there a way to get the status alerts from Communicator to trigger outlook to send an email to myself?
may be a VBA code or something?

  • How to stop Device Status Alerts

I recently installed the software for an All-In-One C7280 including the HP Solution Center.  I like the convenience of one click access to printer information but teh Device Status Alerts that pop up in the corner of the screen are too big, too intrusive and annoying. I've searched the settings and can't find any way to turn them off. I don't want to turn off the Imaging Monitor and lose the features but these things are making me crazy.  Can anyone help?

I am equally annoyed and have searched all the help menus in the HP software to no avail.  Evidently, HP expects us to automatically fall in love with these annoying work-intruders:
Source: HP Solution Center Help, Search for "alert" - Device Status Alert (emphasis mine)
"Alerts and other key messages related to your device are displayed prominently so that you cannot miss them even as you are busy working on your computer. For example, you can find out if your device is low on ink or if your device is ready for printing from the alerts that appear in the HP Solution Center and in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
You can view alerts or the device status easily:
    • Every time you launch the HP Solution Center, error messages or alerts appear directly in the HP Solution Center window. Select the message to get more details about the alert.
Note When you need to purchase ink, you will see the alert details as soon as the Solution Center is launched."
I am quite sure this will be my last HP printer.
