Alert monitoring on  Cross-company

Hi,
I have a question as below:
There are 3 company code:
    company A : sales company (make-to-order);
    company B:  finished products manufacturing company (make-to-order);
    company C:  parts manufacturing company (make-to-stock);
The business scenario is:
Sales orders are created in company A,   corresponding production orders should be created automatically in company B,   but company B needs to buy some parts from company C,
The requirement is,
If some production delay happened in company B and C,
how can I get warning message or alert monitoring
by the sales orders in company A?
Please kindly help.
Thanks and best regards.

Hi ,
Inspite of the production delay in B & C plants you can still create a SO in A.But there will be no message/Alert will be displayed. You can execute ATP(Avail to Promise) check in SO which will display the material availability date and also the availability check. If you need still some Alert message may be obtained by an enhancement.I am not sure if there is any STD message for this.
Hope this helps.

  • Profit center substitution in cross-company sales

    Hi,
We're working here with cross-company sales and profit center.
Let assume that we have a final customer, sales organization (1090 and 1190) and plants (1090 and 1190).
1090 is selling to the final customer and 1190 will sell to 1090.
Everything is monitored from SD in 1090. So we create a sales order in sales organization 1090 for the final customer. Then for the item we change the plant (automatic proposed value 1090 => changed into 1190), this in order to represent a cross-company sale.
After we changed the plant ... we can see in the account assignment tab that we now have 2 "profit center fields". SAP notes 815972, 39254, 713228 ... explain that we can manage different values for the two fields (profit center and profit center billing) using subsitution (0KEL and 0KEM transactions). Unfortunately we're not able here to change the value for the Profit Center Billing field, even through an exit !!
Could anyone give us a hand on this ?
    Regards.

Hi we got the same problem where the substitution is not working, 0KEL we have set the status 2. but still the customer billing document contains the wrong profit center. can you help us on this issue? please replay to [email protected]

  • ALERT MONITOR

    Hello
I have configured the Alert Monitor, Alert is triggered, the message comes on the external mail.
But I have 2 questions related to the Alert Monitor.
    1) Explain what the appointment of the following fields in the t-code ALRTCATDEF:
alrtcatdef -> Properties -> Max. No. of Dels
alrtcatdef -> Properties -> Expiry Time in Min.
If I understand correctly, these two parameters make it possible to limit the number sent to external e-mail messages to one Alert category for a specified period of time?
If so, I have this option does not work, it is ignored.
That is, point out in t-code ALRTCATDEF: 3 posts in 5 minutes. 10 generating error messages. I get 10 messages per mailbox.
(Error is generated by running a report, calling class PROXY, which obviously causes an error).
How to limit the number of outgoing messages to external mail Alert for one category for a specified period of time?
    2) When an error occurs in the JDBC adapter (eg: "ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into (" PI "." MY_TABLE "." FIELD_1 ")") can not get data from the container (t-code ALRTCATDEF):
    SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT (Data Type - CHAR70)
    SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRLINES (Data Type - ALPF_STRING_TAB)
However, other containers, normally return their contents.
In t-code: alrtcatdef -> Long and Short Text -> Long Text (E-Mail, Fax) wrote the following:
    Error in Adapter Engine: &SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT&.
Full text errors in Adapter Engine: &SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRLINES []&.
How can I put in an error message JDBC adapter?

I know and use, but it has many disadvantages.

How can I put in an error message JDBC adapter?

    >the second alert container that you defined will contain more alert details (number of characters).
The fact that SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRLINES reflects more complete information about the error, I know. But I did not receive any information from SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT, and SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRLINES.
Containers returns NULL, while the RWB in Message Monitoring error is displayed.

  • Cross Company Code purchasing

    Hi,
Please help me to concept of Cross Company Code purchasing .
I need a Document regarding this or configuration setting , its requirement from one of our client.
So pls send me some document about the Cross Company Code Transaction.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Refer to the link given below.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/4d/4b9036dfe4b703e10000009b38f889/frameset.htm
Even when the plants involved in a stock transfer belong to different company codes, you can use conventional methods to transfer the stock:
By transferring the stock between plants in one or two steps
By carrying out a stock transport order without the delivery function via Shipping
By carrying out a stock transport order with the delivery function via Shipping
In these cases, the value of the transfer posting is posted to a company code clearing account in both the issuing and the receiving plants. The stock transfer is posted at the valuation price of the material in the issuing plant.
Stock Transport Order with Delivery Via Shipping and Billing Document/Invoice
You can carry out stock transfers with the delivery and billing function. In this procedure, the stock is transferred in the form of a sale between two plants.
Stock transfers that include deliveries and billing documents/invoices are only possible between plants belonging to different company codes.
If you want to carry out a cross-company-code stock transport order with delivery but without a billing document, you must set the Relevant for Billing (data element FKREL) indicator in Customizing of the item type to "blank" (Not relevant for billing).
When you use the delivery function in Shipping, the whole transaction - from the delivery through billing and invoice verification - is reflected in the system. The following Shipping functions are available for this:
    Delivery:
For example, planning shipping activities, picking, packing
    Billing:
    For example, price determination
Before you can use a stock transport order with the delivery function and a billing document, the plant must be assigned to a vendor. You maintain the vendor - plant assignment in the vendor master record.
If a user enters a vendor when creating a stock transport order, the plant is automatically copied from the vendor master record.
A stock transport order with delivery and billing is a mixture of a standard purchase order and a stock transport order: as in the standard purchase order, when items are entered (standard items with no item category) price determination is carried out and shipping data established; as in the stock transport order, the transfer of stocks from one location to another is monitored.
Stock Transport Order with Valuated and Non-Valuated Sales Order Stock
When entering goods issues for cross-company-code stock transport orders, you can work with both valuated and non-valuated sales order stock (E) using the one-step procedure (movement type 645) and the two-step procedure (movement type 643). In the MRP view of the material master record (MRP 4) you define from which stock material is to be withdrawn by selecting the Dependent requirements indicator for individual and collective requirements. There are three options:
Indicator set to Blank (individual and collective requirements): material is removed from sales order stock
Indicator set to 1 (individual requirements only): material is removed from sales order stock
Indicator set to 2 (collective requirements only): material is removed from unrestricted-use standard stock
    Prices
In Purchasing, the price of the material in question is determined in the usual manner (from the info record, for example).
In SD, pricing is also carried out as normal during the billing process.
Your company has to maintain settings in the Customizing system determining whether stock transfers between two plants should be with or without billing.
You can also determine whether individual users can carry out stock transfers, for example, with or without billing or in either of the two ways.
If you choose Purchase Order ® Create ® Stock Transfer (i.e. a stock transport order without billing) and stock transfer with billing has been defined for the plants in Customizing, a message appears indicating that you should create a standard purchase order.

  • Delivery & Billing document (Cross Company)

    Hi All,
This is Cross Company STO process
Reciving plant (R111) create PO of 5,00,000 KG which can be send by supply Plant (S222) throughout a year
Material is Coal Ash , fills into Railcar but at the time of filling Material in railcar they didn't know the exact weight, so fill with estimated weight (based on the size of railcar they can derive this quantity) of lets say 500KG, after that S222 plant completed delivery with PGI as well as billing/invoice for 500 KG .
Rail car will reach to weighting machine after 4 days and on weighting machine exact weight comes out is 650KG (Or less 450KG for 2nd case) ,  the exact weight information will send to S222 plant
Rail car will reach to plant R111 after 20 days and plant R111 do GR wrt Delivery doc ( for Qty 500KG) and do invoicing for the same qty of 500KG, they didn't know that exact weight is 650KG
    - For Difference quantity of 150KG (which is extra),  plant S1111 create one more delivery and one more billing/invoice document.
For same quantity plant R111 do GRN and create one more invoice.
    - Why Plant S222 doing PGI if they don't know the excat quantity?
Because for plant S222, they have to show goods sold as of day to Management, they can not wait for next 4 days for exact weight.
    Requirment -
    1. Company wants every railcar should have only one Invoice so they can track invoice railcarwise
    2. How will we manage if weight quantity is less after weighing lets say (450KG) in this case,  what plant S111 will do
    Appriciate your early response.
    Thx
    Shree

what have you done before you implemented SAP?
In general you would have a gap in the reporting value just in one month, the month of changing approach, from then on it is always a month, what you miss at the end is added in the beginning.
What about buying an own weigh bridge to get the accurate weight right on time?
Make a calculation how much effort it is to monitor this case, to create subsequent deliveries and billing per rail car or subsequent cancellations and credit notes per rail car.
Usually the management is keen to save costs.
Here you have actually an internal case, even 2 legal companies are involved, they belong to the same concern, so the money does not really leave, hence no loss interest.
All effort is just for reporting.
As said before, if management does not want to move from their position, then their is no way around a complicated process that can cause a lot trouble

  • Cross company LIV without a Inter-company billing

    Hi,
Is it possible to post a FI-customer invoice (FB70) in Company A by posting a LIV in Company Code B. Currently Company A does not have a Sales/Purchasing organization setup. Requirement for a PO in Company B is, to track the products and monitor the sales.
The standard (EDI) inter-company billing needs a order/billing to be created in Company A.

    Hi Patrick,
in order for the data being correctly collected and displayed you
need to maintain TCOLL according to note
    #966309 - Contents of table TCOLL in SAP_BASIS 700
and schedule the job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR hourly in client
000 with the user DDIC or a user with the same authorizations.
You also need to schedule the job SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP, since it is
needed to start tools and methods in the system monitoring area.
The job must be scheduled hourly (please also refer to notes #16083 and

Is there also no data under these nodes in RZ20 ?

  • Cross company payment through F-53, error in Check deposit & check issue tr

    Hi
I have just joined the community and ready with 3 queries.
    Please.......... help me to resolve.
    i) While executing the cross company payment ( company code 1300 making payment for vendor in company code 0013) using transaction code F-53, I am getting error 'vendor not defined in company code 1300'.
For F-53 screen, vendor is selected from company code 0013.
I have executed APP (F110) successfully in company code 1300 for paying the same vendor in company code 0013.
ii) For check deposit transaction, error is " entry 1300 is missing in table TO43S'. (1300 is a company code)
iii) For check issue transaction, error is "no batch input data for screen SAPMF05A'
    Thanks
    Rekha

    1. Don't give vendor number in the main screen, give all remaining inouts and press enter, then it'll show the second screen
there you can give the company code and vendor account.
    2.  Cretae a tolerance group for GL accounts in OBA0.
Don't post more than one query in the same thread.

  • Payment term is not being pickedup in cross company code transaction

    Dear Friends,
In one of the cross company code transaction scenarios (MIRO), We post a invoice in HQ books to bill on outside vendor. In subsidiary books one more cross company code document will get generated automatically, as billing on HQ as a vendor. In that second document, payment term is not being pickedup.
eg., A is HQ and B is subsidiary company
I post invoice in A books as B account debit and outside vendor credit.
In B books one more entry will get generated automatically as GRIR account debit and A (defined as vendor in B books) account credit.
In B Books payment terms are maintained in vendor master record (A vendor).
But still the payment terms are not being pickedup in that document. Because of this, it is taking the document date itself as net due date.
Please suggest, how to proceed to pick some payment term in that document.
    Regards
    Suresh

    Hi
Assign the payment terms in Purchase Organisation level in Vendor Master Record.

  • Missing CO Sales Order Item in 643 Cross Company Movement

    Hi all,
we are working in a make-to-order scenario in which the company A/plant A sells a finished product produced by company B/plant B.
The sales order item is a cost object (account assignment category E – “Ind. cust. w. KD-CO” is set in the requirement class in use) and is derived into the Transfer Order (Account Assignment tab) from production company B/plant B to selling company A/plant A.
When we try to transfer the finished product from plant B to plant A by means of 643 movement the system provides error message  KI 235 – Account xxx requires an assignment to a CO object where xxx is the Cost Of Goods Sold for company B. This is due to the fact that FI is not able to derive the sales order item as a posting cost object.
We have activated cross company  CO objects by deactivating the Company Code Validation indicator (field TKA00-RKBUK) for controlling area settings.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.
    PierGiorgio

    Hi Abhi,
yes it is: "E" is the entry value in the field consumption of the requirement class involved.
    Thanks, PierGiorgio

  • Questions on Alert monitor

    Hi,
I have few questions on alert monitor.
    1. If we create an alert and have it as default macro, does it display in interactive planning book without a alert profile assignment? or should we assign an alert profile to see alerts in planning book. I remember that we just need alert profile if we need to check the alerts in a separate screen for our convenience.
    2. Is alert profile assignment specific to a user? If that's so, then how we assign different profiles to different users? any transaction? or are they specific to a selection or planning book or version?
    3. In Application specific alert profile, in SDP tab, under "SDP - Database Macro Alerts", I see few alerts types apart from standard ones. These were actually our previous alert macros. How did they get created like a alert type?
    4. I created a simple macro with change color of cell to red if a condition is satisfied. Also raise an alert for that and assigned it to default. When I go back to the SDP94 screen and run the macro, my cells are highlighted as red whenever the condition is satisfied but when I click on the alerts icons, I get a blue information message "No alerts exist for your selection". When I click on the icon, it gives me a window saying " Internal error analyzing SDP alert".
Can somebody help me understand what's going wrong?
    Thanks.

I think you can select that standard type.
However since it was SAP delivered, we chose not to, and instead created more line items in SPRO with text such as "Alert Message 1" etc. We created numbers ranging from 9001 to 9010. While defining the custom alert, under alert type, it showed up these numbers that were setup in SPRO. I would assume that just like you pick up 9001, you should be able to pick up 4100 or 4101 (alert type numbers) which is the standard status alert. If you run out of the numbers, you would definitely need to add more in SPRO settings. Remember the alert text is picked from SPRO, where you can change and make it more meaningful so that users can do sorting on those alerts.

  • Questions on Inter-company and Cross-company sales ordering process..

    Hi,
I understood the delivery plant and the sales org. is not in the same company code might be the process, but i want to know some details especially in SAP system how it is realized and processed, hope could kindly help me on below questions!! thanks!!
1)what is the difference between inter-company sales and Cross-company sales??
2)What is the general document flow and config. when in below 2 cases:
Suppose the 2 company code under same sap client system, then what kinds of company code, plant config within the system for inter-compan and cross-company, and finally what kind of document flow will it be in the system.
Suppose the 2 company code is under diff sap system, then what kind of doc flow in each sap system for inter-company and cross-company sales process???
    Thank you very much!!!!

    Hi,
Basically there are totally Three types of scenarios
    1. Intra Compnay Stock Transport Order
In this type of scenario, the stock is transfered between Two Plants which are under the same Compnay Code. The document type used here is UB. Here in this scenario the owner ship on the stock is not changed thats way there will not be any Invoice. The process as follows
    a. Create Purchase Order with document type UB - ME21N
    b. Create Replenishment Delivery with Document type NL - VL10B
    c. Picking and PGI - VL02N
Now stock will be shown in Transit, you can check this using T.Code MB5T.
    d. Do MIGO to receive the stock into ordering plant.
    2. Inter Compnay Stock Transport Order
This is called as Cross Compnay STO. Here the stock is sent from one plant to another plant which are in two different Compnay codes. That means the Ownership on the stock is changed in this scenario, that way there will be Intercompnay Invoice IV is reaised. Here the stock is just moved to one plant to another plant but not to any customer.
    The Process is as follows
    a. Create a PO using type NB - ME21N
    b. Create a Cross Compnay Replenishment delivery using type NLCC - VL10B
    c. Picking and PGI in VL02N
    d. Inter Compnay Invoice IV is raised by Supplying Compnay code to the Ordering Compnay Code - VF01
for this a customer created in Supplying Compnay who represents the Ordering Compnay and the invoice is raised against to that customer.
    e. MIGO to receive the stock in Ordering Plant
    f. MIRO to do invoice verification and do Vendor account update. This also can be done by EDI triggering, to update the Vendor Account. That means with this step, ordering compnay will update into its vendor account that he has to give certain amount to the compnay who supplied the stock.
    3. Inter Compnay Customer Sales
This is similer to the 2 process, but here instead of sending to Plant we will send the stock directly to Customer of other compnay code.
    The process is as follows
    a. Customer raises  normal sales order in another compnay code of type OR - VA01
    b. But if the plant of that compnay does not have stock, then in the order the plant is changed to other compnay code plant.
    c. Delivery is created in supplying Compnay against this Order - VL01
    d. Picking and PGI is done - VL02N
    e. But the stock is sent direclty to customer from supplying plant.
    f. Ordering compnay will raise normal invoice F2 to the customer
    g. Supplying Compnay will raise Intercompnay invoice IV to the Ordering Compnay.
But for all these process there are some configurations can be done, like
the material should be extended to both the plants
a customer is created in supplying plant who represents the ordering plant so that IV can be generated to that customer.
Supplying Plants should be linked to ordering Sales Org and Distribution channel. etc.
    Hope this is clear.
    Thanks
    Praveen

  • Problem in GRN while Capturing Excise Invoice in Cross Company STO Scenario

    Dear All,
In the Cross Company STO Scenario we are following the steps as below:-
1.) Creation of the purchase order to the supplying plant of type u201CNBu201D
2.) Creation of the Outbound delivery in VL10B
3.) Post Good Issue in the VL02N.
4.) Creation of the billing doc.
5.) Creation of the Excise Invoice.
6.) MIGO w.r.t to the Outbound delivery in the receiving plant
During MIGO ,initialy system is picking the excise rates and excise base value by its own from the purchase order and the moment  when we refer the Excise Excise Invoice created in the supplying plant , system takes the Excise rates from the excise invoice created in the supplying plant and Excise Base value is becoming ZERO and we are getting the error :u201D *Please check excise base for the item is ZERO
    Message no : 4F121
Please Suggest what to do and why this error is coming.
When I am giving any other Excise no is the Excise Invoice feild in MIGO , it is taking and refering the rates in PO and giving one information message that Excise invoice no is different from the supplying plant excise invoice no.
    Thanks & Regards
    Nitin

    HI,
Check the excise base vlaue in the Supplying plant excise invoice. If its 0, maintain the assessible value in J1ID & Check.
If everything is found OK,  check if any SAP notes are available.
    Thanks & Regards,
