Align Fields or Label in Webdynpro

Hi Experts ,
How can I Allign the UI elements in WebDynpro ?
I tried using different Layouts we have. But ! I couldn't get the desired result.
My requirement is :
In the First Row, I should have a table and in Second row , I must have two buttons which are aligned
one for left and one for right. How can I align like that ? If I use the GridLayout with 2 columns, I am getting
two collums for all the rows. but ! I should have one column in first row and two columns in second row.
Please help me.

To align two UI elements in the same row you can use container UI element which is an invisble UI element used to align other UI Elements in webdynpro.
-> Create a Container
-> add/Create buttons into this container

you need to define the fields in the layout..
the properies of that field layout, can control your alignment of the layout

I need to add a new field to a standard webdynpro component's( in my case the component is ''/SAPSRM/WDC_UI_SC_DOTC_BD') layout.How do i go about adding a new field to the standard component's lay out?

But i have a create button and cancel button.
After filling the details in the required columns, when i click the create button, if any validation errors are there.. the page is re-rendered. while doing that the hidden items are getting displayed back.
Tried Solutions:
1. I created a same function once more and in the last added the doSubmit('CREATE') and called the script from the create button.
At that time the hidden fields labels are getting displayed.
2. I created a process On load before header To call this script on a condition :REQUEST = 'CREATE'
Then also fruitless..
I hope now it is clear....

to fill the color.

I've create a maintenance view & use it in a maintenance dialog screen. All fields shows ok except one field , the label show a '+' sign only, why huhh ?

In the Generate Table Maintenance Dialog screen, go to Environment->Modification->Maintenance Screens via the menubar. Then go to the screen layout by clicking the Layout button.
Now double click on the column name where you have the '+' sign and type over your required label. Save and activate. Now run this via SM30 you should see the correct label.

Goto CMOD, Goto "Goto" in menu \ Text enhancements \ keywords \ change, enter the data element "REGIO", write your description.
But this is not at all advisable bcz it reflects in all the screens of SAP wherever this field exist.
As address fields almost uses by all modules, dont do any changes and try to convince the business.

APEX 4.2. - SkillBuilders Modal Page plugin not sizing fields or labels

I recently migrated from 4.1 to 4.2, bringing over the Skillbuilders plugin 2.0.0. My page has a Popup template. When I open the page as a Skillbuilders Modal Page, all of the fields have the same width, ignoring the width I've given it with the label above the field, even though I said the label should be aligned left horizontally. If I run the page as itself (not called as a Skillbuilders popup), it properly spaces the fields and the labels are aligned to the left. Can someone help me fix this issue?

Yes, the plug-in has been known to have issues with the responsive theme. I recommend either changing your theme or avoiding the plug-in for now.
I may be able to address this in the future, but I wouldn't bank on it.

How to keep form field and label together?

In InDesign Creative Cloud (ID CC), I need to create a 20 page form (a type of questionnaire). As a prelude to doing this, I created a one page form. I am trying to keep labels (text) and fields together, so that if I add a question in the middle of the form, everything else moves down and stays in the correct alignment and relationship. Here is what I tried.
Option 1: Anchored Fields. I created fields on a "fields" layer and labels on a "text" layer. The text layer generally had tables to help me see where fields should be placed. However, to keep fields and text in the same relationship on the page, I anchored the field to the text. Hoewever, this has the effect of moving the field object into the same layer as the text. When I tried to use the Articles panel to put the fields in correct tab order, I discovered that only fields (unanchored) that were in the forms layer could be dragged into the Articles panel; anchored fields (now in the text layer) could not be dragged into the Articles panel. Why?
I know that I could also use the Object / Interactive / Set Tabs Order command, but I wanted to use Articles to see how that works.
In this approach, I also could not figure out how to put underline the text form field
Option 2: Tabs and Character Styles. I used character styles for underlining by not using tables, but using paragraphs and tabs to align where the fields should be. I applied a character style to a right-justified tab to get the underline. However, using this option, whenever I add a new question (field + label or instruction) in the middle of the form, everything else down on the page goes out of alignment.
What recommendations do other form designers have? I have been trying to think of how IRS has "dense" or "complex" forms, and how these might be designed in InDesign CC. in order to apply similar techniques to my form design.
I am running on a Mac, OS X 10.8.4, InDesign CC.

I have an Issue the Languages Translation in transaction BBPSC02 wizard the first step ask the three posibles options
1 Old Shopping Carts and Templates
2.- Internal Good /Services
3.- Describe what do you need
that is only an example.
the problem is next . when user Log in SRM portal in Language EN no problem is show the label of link in English
but when I changes the Languages to Spanish the Portal show the description in German Languages, we Imported Languages in Spanish but no show the correct Label.
what can I do ?

Here is the step for finding translation text id (Concept ID).
1. Open the UI in application and right click on the field (Old Shopping Cart and Template) -> "More Field help".
    Copy the Web Dynpro Component: /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_GAF_C to clip board.
2. Logon SRM in EN via SAPGUI. Go to SE80 and open the WebDynpro and display the View V_DODC_SC_GAF_FSCA
    Find the text and there is no text binding
3. Go back to WebDynpro level /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_GAF_C and find Package name /SAPSRM/CH_WD_UI_BO_SC
4. Open new session and call SOTR_EDIT transaction. Select Find button
5. Paste the /SAPSRM/CH_WD_UI_BO_SC in package field, Langaugae=EN, Text=Old*
    You find the translation text objects. The transaction guides you how to maintain translation text.

Setting the column labels in webdynpro abap alv report

Hello,
Right now I have programmed an ALV report. The selection criterion and the display of the report all work.
However, there is an issue with the labels of columns in the ALV report. The report takes the field names of the structure I am using in the ALV report as the labels of the report. I have been trying to play around with the ALV class model to see if something will change the labels of the fields but to no avail. Would you guys know of some code or way to change the labels of the columns in the ALV report.

PDF Text Field Form Label

Hello everyone. I was wondering if there was a way to make a label viewable in normal mode for a PDF text field form. I am making my PDF a form with a fillable text box in it. Well, I'd like the box name to show up when someone opens the PDF, not just if they only go into the edit form view. I hope I'm making sense. So far, the only thing I can think of is making a Button with the label above the fillable text box or make the text box a combo box. However, with a combo box, I can't edit how the text will look when it's typed in. Right now, though, when a person opens the PDF normally, the highlighted fillable text boxes show up but not the labels with them even though I have names entered in on Name and Tooltip.
Any suggestions?

Oh my gosh... I feel like such a dork!! I took a fresh look at it this morning, and the ONLY mistake I had was that I put the ending quotations in the wrong spot! I forgot to include (Optional) inside the quotations for the label!
I had this: if (!event.value) event.value = "Company Information" (Optional);
Instead of this: if (!event.value) event.value = "Company Information (Optional)";
Oi!! That was it! lol! I'm sorry about that. And yes, without those quotations, my text form fields don't work. I hadn't seen your message before (until now) asking for me to clarify that. I'm sorry! That's the only spot I needed quotations. If I don't have them, Adobe tells me that I'm missing characters.

Hi,
You can use the ONSELECT event of the previous dropdown (the dropdown whose value you want to use to make the label invisible).
In the evenhandler for ONSELECT event has paramaters like CONTEXT_ELEMENT , ID and KEY where ID is the ID of dropdown
and KEY is the value selected in dropdown.
EXAMPLE,
DATA : lo_label = cl_wd_label.
IF key EQ 'I agree'.
lo_label ?= view_instance->get_element(ID = 'LABEL_ID').
IF NOT lo_label INITIAL.
lo_label->set_visible(value = 01 ).
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
The view_instance has to be set with value of attribute"view" in ur WDMODIFY method of view.
Similarily you can make dropdown or any UI element invisible.
