Alignment in dynamic table in workflow mail

I have a workflow with a task of sending mail to SAP inbox. The body of the mail should display a table with a structure that is dynamically determined at run time. The workflow is triggered from a report in which a dynamic table is first created, filled with data. Then, before the event is raised, each line of the table is converted to ABAPTXT255 and then the table of string is passed to the workflow. The content of the original table is then shown as a table of strings.
The problem is that, because I convert the content to string before passing the table to workflow, Ive lost control over the alignment of columns I originally had before the conversion, and the font used in SAP inbox doesnt help either. Hence, the table appears in the mail as having no alignment at all.
My dilemma is that, I cannot think of another way of passing a table with dynamic structure to workflow, except to convert everything to string first. But, then I lost control over the alignment.
Has anyone come across anything similar to this before? Any comments or suggestions?

You will need to use an index into your xpath expression. The xpath expression builder does not do this for you, you've got to add it yourself.

The above application runs only with JDK1.3.1_02 and not with any other version. This application is creating dynamic table using struts.

Issue in Dynamic table creation in userform

Hi all,
My userform displays a simpletable using an arraylist returned from the WF as data source. I have all the columns of this dynamic table displayed as labels.
Question:
Now I have added another new column to this table which I want to be editable (textfield) while the rest of the existing columns should be the same labels. How do I accomplish this task since the fieldloop for the table uses only a single arraylist?

That was pretty simple solution. I made a disable clause to the label control for the last column and instead displayed a textbox control.

Go to the Row Properties, and in the Visibility tab, you have "Show or hide based on an expression". You can use this to write an expression that resolves to true if the row should be hidden, false otherwise.
Additionally, in the Matrix properties you should take a look at the filters section, perhaps you can achieve what you wish to achieve through there by removing the unnecessary rows instead of just hiding them.
It's only so much I can help you with the limited information. If you require further help, please provide us with more information such as what data are you displaying, what's the criteria to hiding rows, etc...

What do you mean by Header data in master page...? is it header Row...with labels, why do you need it in master page have it along with your table in body page.
What do you mean my data is not displayed on the body page ...?
What I could understand is as below. you have a dynamic table where the number of rows may be n such that it can spread across multiple pages, if it spreads in multiple pages you need the header row in all the page occurances. is it so ...?
if so just do it as below.
Have the table in your body page with one header row and one body row.
Set table allowed page break with in content
Put this table in a subform and say it flowed top to bottom and set allow page break with in content.
Select header row>object>pagination set include row in initial page and subsequent pages to checked.
Select body row-->object->binding set repeat row for each data item to checked.
This should work, else let me know your requirement more briefly..

WorkFlow: Mail not received by approver

I am new to workflow. I use Mail Step to sent mail to different user in SAP inbox. There are different level of approval in my workflow. so i create table in the Business object and fill with approver IDs. When i use this table in the Mail steps as expression. Mail didnt go to any of the user.

But in your above reply, I can see that the condition you have maintained is :
&RSM_X& = X.
Maybe you are not putting the condition right.

Dynamic Table with Random Records

What I am trying to do is select random records from a table
and display them in a dynamic table with max columns set to 3 and
the 4th record to be on a new row. Below is what I have right now
and it works to randomly pick records but has no function to set
columns in a table. If there is an easier way feel free to let me

To start a new row after 3 records, do something like this.

You should also know that your approach is very inefficient
in that you are bringing in to cold fusion more data than you need.
First of all you are selecting every field from 3 tables when you
don't appear to be using all of them. Second, you are selecting
every record and you only want to use 3. There are better ways out
there, but they are db specific and you did not say what you are
using.

Capturing data from a dynamic table that span multiple pages

I created a PDF form that contained a dynamic table that can span across multiple pages. Additional rows in the table can be created by the person filling the form as and when needed.
The PDF form is distributed to the receipient using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
However, when the form is "Submitted" back to the originator of the form, only data in the first row of the table is captured in the Response file. All the other rows are left out.
I would be grateful if anyone can advise me as to how do I or what shall I do to get all the data in all the rows in the table into the Response File?

Dynamic tables and conditional page break

I have inserted a table in my form and have included an Add New Row button to insert additonal rows. I want a maximum of 16 rows added with a subtotal field. I want the table, then to automatically go to a new page with a subtotal field. At the end of all pages I want to include a total field. The table goes to the next page after a number of rows are entered, but there is not a break; the original form continues. How do conditionally break the page and have a (new) table display in the second page?

Workflow Mailer Configuration...

I am configuring workflow mailer notification for sending notifications from oracle apps to email of the apps users.For this I have used organization's mail server(SMTP server) as the outbound server for sending the notifications.But this method is working only when the notifications are being send to the organization's corporate accounts.Whenever we try sending it to other mail accounts (such as,gmail or yahoomail) these notifications dont get delivered.Although, we can send mail from our corporate mail account to other mail ids.What i dont understand is why we cant mails from workflow mailer although its configured using the organization's mail server(SMTP)?

I suspect this is an issue with your corporate mail system and not WF Mailer, since mail to internal users is being delivered successfully. Can you pl check the value of the column MAIL_STATUS in table WF_NOTIFICATIONS for those notifications where email is not being received ? If the value is SENT, then WF Mailer was able to successfully hand off the email to the corporate email system, and it is this system that is not delivering to the external email id (yahoo, google etc). If this is the case, you will have to check with your corp email group to see if they can trace what is happening.
