All I want, is a simple email address to ADOBE, where I can ask a billing question. PLEASE HELP!
I need a simple email address to SOMEONE in Adobe, where I can ask a billing question. It seems very clear that this is not smething the Company wants to attend to. After 30 minutes of ebing looped around and around through the menus, I cannot find a single, simple, email address where I can ask a question. Can anyone help?
Here is the background. My membership is paid for vie my University. The University is tax exempt, and I need to speak to, email, send a form do something to remove $1.40 from the invoice. Yes, $1.40 It is not my issue, it is the University's and I need to get this done. However, I cannot find an email address, and I refuse to wait for 37 chatters ahead of me. There simply must be a smarter, better, more customer friendly way for Adobe to support.
Does anyone have a secret email, or can you tell me the necessary key strokes and menue choices that will get me to a Customer Service rep?

If you have a new email address then create a new mail account for that email address.
In Thunderbird:
File > New > select 'Existing mail account'
or
Menu Icon > New Messages > select 'Existing mail account'
when creating the mail account, make sure you select the type of mail account you require...Pop or IMAP

If you have the same email address but want to change the server it uses.
If you currently have an IMAP mail account and you are wanting to close it, you would need to get a copy of any emails into Local Folders first.
Synchronise the folder for offline use, then in offline mode get a copy of emails into Local Folders.
If you have a pop mail account, the emails are already on your computer.
To change the server, but not email address:
you will need to know your server settings first.
Thenright click on mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Settings'
select the Server sEttings for the account
or Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings for the account
Change as necessary
server name:
Port:
Connection Security:
In the left Pane, at the bottom Select 'Outgoing Server (SMTP)
click on 'Add'
create the new outgoing server entering the server details
username: = full email address
then click on OK
then select the account in the left Pane
at the bottom on the right side:
Outgoing Server (SMTP)
click on the drop down selectionand locate the new outgoing server.
then click on OK to save changes. -
i uninstalled my old itunes on my lap top so i can downloand the new itunes 10. so i go to apple website and to the page to download itunes 10, i put in my email address click download and a little box pops up with nothing in it. and then the apple web page says thanks for down loading i tunes, last time i did this a box came up and i click run and itunes is installed, this is not happening this time. can someone please help. i have turn on the pop ups in explorer.
ThanksThere is no reason to enter an email address to download iTunes.
Try restarting your browser or using a different browser.
If that does not work, restart the computer.
It might also be helpful if you stated what type of computer (PC or Mac) and what OS you are using. -

You can update the primary email address on your account by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and tapping 'view apple id' on the popup and logging into it, or by logging into it via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com
If you do change it you may then need to log out on your other devices (tap on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store) and computers (Store > Sign Out menu option) and then log back in with the updated version -
In Mail, when using "reply all" why does Mail automatically include my email address in the cc line? Whey would I want to include my email address in an email I am sending.? Anybody have any idea how to stop Mail from including my email address in the cc line when using "reply all"?
Automatically cc myself is not checked. I did find out that if you have multiple email address that all of them need to be associated with "My Contact" tab. Thanks

How can I change it when I cannot view it on my account. I am not even sure how this got setup.If you mean your rescue email address, it's in the Passwords and Security section, after you answer the two security questions.

You can change the login ID address, provided that it is not an @icloud.com, @me.com or @mac.com address. You will need to sign out on all your computers/devices and sign back in again with the new ID.
However, once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
All is not lost, though. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account, move it to another account, or reactivate it if you delete it.

As with the Mail app on a Mac, the iPhone's Mail app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which is separate from the address book or contacts. The email address autofill feature when addressing an message pulls from Contacts and from the list of previous recipients.
Different from the Mail app on a Mac, there is no access to the list of previous recipients with iOS on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to remove a previous recipient from the list, or to add a previous recipient to the address book or contacts that is not already entered - not at the present time anyway.
The only way to purge the list of previous recipients at the present time is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, which will start being re-populated again with every sent message. -

Yes, but be sure she is on a separate iCloud account with a separate ID before deleting anything. Be sure there is nothing that you want to keep on your device too. When you delete the data from iCloud it will be deleted from all devices signed into the account. Then you can delete the data from the existing account by doing the following:
To delete the contacts, go to iCloud.com from your computer, log into your iCloud account and open Contacts, click on All Contacts on the left, to the right click on any single contact to select it, click on the Actions (gear shaped) icon at the bottom left and choose Select All, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
For Calendars, open the calendar on icloud.com, click Edit on the bottom left, then tap the minus sign to the right of each calendar to delete it.
For Notes, open notes on icloud.com, click on each note on the left, then click Delete at the top to delete it.
For Reminders, open reminders on icloud.com, click on each reminder and press your Delete key to delete it.
For Mail, open your mail on icloud.com, click each folder on the left (such as your inbox), click on a single message to the right, press Control-A on your keyboard to select them all, then press your Delete key. Repeat this for each of your mail folders except Trash. When finished, click on the actions (gear-shaped) icon on the bottom left and select Empty Trash.
If you also want to delete your iCloud backups you can go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage on your device, tap the name of your device under Backups, then tap Delete Backup. -

You would have to delete the existing iCloud account and create a wholly new one - you cannot change the @icloud.com email address of the one you already have. To make a new one, you will also need an new AppleID as any AppleID can only have one iCloud account associated with it.
Deleting the account will not delete anything off your device (if prompted for things like contacts, choose to keep them). You will have to sync everything anew with the new account as you cannot move your sync'd content, your old backups or anything else from one iCloud account to another. You will have to set up sync again and let it sync to the new account, and then make new backups to the new account as well. -
I am trying to change my email address for an Apple ID and it is saying that it is already in use. I then sign in with that Apple ID and it says that the account is not set up yet, I don't want to set up the account, but I do want to use the email address in my original Apple ID! HELP!

Once you have created a rescue address, you cannot delete it, nor can you change it to the same address as used by your ID. There are numerous providers you can get additional email addresses from, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc etc. -

Hello Embark2013 - Thanks for the help! If possible, could you or somebody in Apple-land explain to Apple that their system is IDIOTIC?! Changing an email address should be the simplest thing imaginable. Nobody should EVER have to consult a discussion group to learn how to do such a thing.
