All objects are inactive in derived roles (copied from existing derived role)

I need to create more than 1000 derived roles, from existing reference roles.
Reference roles are also derived roles. So I executed LSMW for mass copy.
Eg: Reference role XYZ with parent role XXX
New role(ABC) copied from XYZ ,so ABC is having same values as XYZ and master role also.
Now the issue is after executing the LSMW all roles are copied to new roles, but all objects are inactive in new roles .I am not able to activate the object also.

Issue: I have derived roles for plant XX, now I want to derive same set of roles for YY plant. My reference plant is XX, So what am doing is copying the XX roles to New roles (YY) .No change in object or description, just copy role to new role. And I am using LSMW for the same.
After copy the roles, I will change the description and profile using another script and manually change the org values. But after copy the roles to new roles using script all objects are inactive (In red color),if am selecting the org tab ,I will get message like ,no org levels maintained. Because all objects are inactive .And there are no options (edit) to activate the objects or maintain the fields.

We are patching ECC6 EHP4 from SPS10 to SPS15.
We are running into a blocking issue in the Phase CHECK_INACT_OBJECTS.
A list of objects are displayed ,those objects can either be activated
or even open.
I had a look at sap note 1882203 - SPAM : CHECK_INACT_OBJECTS error
Inactive Objects.There are no such objects inSe80 displayed as inactive
We have actually two kind of problem
1/ Function Modules in-existent but inactive :
FUNC J_1BNFE_INVOICE_CREATE_SC
FUNC J_1BNFE_RETURN_OF_COMPONENTS
FUNC J_1BNFE_SEARCH_PO_BY_COMP
FUNC J_1BNFE_SEARCH_PO_BY_MAIN_ITEM
FUNC J_1BNFE_SUBSEQUENT_ADJUSTMENT
The function modules do not exist in se37 nor in se80.
At some point of time , we have applied a SAP NFe Brazil note which delivered those objects, but it created such a mess, that we have unimplemented the note , but the shadows of the FM s are still here.
We have tried to re-implement the note, but it did not work, as the system thinks that the objects are already here
2/ Class CL_EX_BADI_J_1BLEGALREPORT can not be activated
There is an inactive version of object CL_EX_BADI_J_1BLEGALREPORT
Message no. EU821
The class has one unique version
I tried to find out which SAP table is holding informations about incorrect inactive status in table REPOSRC, but in vain ...
Obviously, I have opened a sap customer call, but in the meantime our all SP schedule is on hold ...

TS1967 after updating - all buttons are inactive

after downloading new version of itunes, all butons except help are inactive. what i should do? help is available, but i can't enter itunes store, and so on. i can synchronize my ipod, but can't open it. i already updated my itunes 2 times, even deleted and downloaded it again. Maybe I should log in (but i can't see field) orsomething else?

All conditions are Inactive

Dear all,
In billing document all the condition are inactive the reason the system is displaying is "W" The document item is statistical.
There is only one line item in billing.
The billing is made with reference to order.
In order all the condition are active.
The pricing condition is entered manually since no condition records are maintained and it is marked as manual in pricing procedure as wel as at condition level.
In billing all the conditions are unique i.e no condition is inserted twice.

Secondly we do have previous billing document with same material, customer and sales doc. type released to accounting.

ZIC_AGENT webui role which is copied from standard webUI role not opening home page

Hi Experts,
We are facing production issue which is pertaining to ZIC_AGENT web ui role.
We have copied from standard to ZIC_AGENT web ui role, all call centers are working on this role. However suddenly not working due to power issue in one of our call center where CTI server is placed.
We do not want stop activities the rest of the call centers due to this issue and we are expecting to work like standard role.
How to delink between main call center with other call centers, kindly advise us.

I had copied these .class & .xml files under Myclasses -> oracle.apps.icx and oracle.apps.po and oracle.apps.fnd was same which comes part of the standard OA tutorial.
I copied same under Myprojects as well.
you have to decompile the class file into java file and then place it in Myproject directory , also copy all dependency files like BC4J components , and then
try to run from Jdeveloper .
Alternatively you can get the entire ICX folder and zip it and add it via library .

Infopackages are missing after an system copy from Prodution to Quality

After an DB copy, from BW Prodution to Quality, the infopackages are missing.
Can anyone can tell me how to get the infopackages from PRD to QAS.

Casue for package missing
In some cases infopackages will be missing because of the INIT Delta infopackage will be copied againg from Production were duplicates are created for the same Init. so in such cases the package will be missing
During DB copy if any infopackage are created in production at that point of time the system will not take that package into consideration
inorder to get the package we can do reverse transport (from production to Quality)
follow the steps as below
Transporting from BWP TO BWQ : Reverse Transports
Step1
Create request in Source System (Eg: BWP) say A and Collect required objects (infopackage)into request A
Step2
Goto TCode : SE09/SE10 --> create a transport of Copies request B (give the user name and tick on transport copies just below the workbentch request)
Step3
Check, check box for Transport of Copies and click Create , now the system will prompt one more screen
Step4
Now choose Transports of Copies and continue.
Step5
Enter required Target system(F4 help available) Eg: BWQ.
Step6
Unlock Objects(Tcode : SE03) from Request A and Move Objects to Request B(Tcode SE10).
Step7
Delete objects from Request A
Step8
Relase the request B (se09)
Step9
Now log on to the Target System(Eg: BWQ) import Queue and import request.
Step10
In BWQ queue go to menu Request >Forward> give BWD or
you can directly provide BWD as Target System in Step 2
Step11
Go to BWD and import the request.

Your signature says you have 10.6.2: is this correct? Lion 10.7.2 is required for syncing with iCloud - you cannot sync your contacts on 10.6.2. All you can do is go to http://icloud.com , select Contacts, click the top contact and then the bottom one while holding the shift key to select them all; click on the cogwheel at bottom left and choose 'Exort vCard'.
Then go to Address Book on your Mac, from the File menu choose 'Import' and select your vCard. This will restore the contacts to your Mac but they will not sync with iCloud.

New query copying from existing query

I want to create a new query through query designer. New query should be same as existing one query.

Hi,
As told above you can copy Queries from one Target to another Target by RSZC, if the fields are same in both the Info Providers.
Or else open your existing Query and slect Save as give new Technical name.

I am getting the error while running the report. While selecting the 0CALMONTH, i am getting the error as 0calmonth info object is no available in Version A. But i checked in BW system and found that, 0CALMONTH is in active version. Can you please help on this issue.

Script to identify what all objects are upgrade safe/unsafe

I remember Oracle Consulting has a script which it runs before any major upgrade( 11i to R12 for example) which lists all the objects and also the status whether it is upgrade safe/unsafe.
Can anyone give me the script.

I want to know that there may be some seeded codes and objects on which some customizations/modifications have been done ( say user hooks) for example.
Now I want to know that during upgrade if i run some script that will highlight that particular objectYou have to revisit all the custom pages you have and test it after the upgrade, there is no way (through a script) to find out if your customizations were upgraded successfully or not.

Exporting Metadata only possible when all objects are valid?

Hallo,
i want to export the metadate from my project. The result was this error: MDL1256: Error occurred exporting PROCESSPACKAGE with physical name <IMP_TRAN>
I made a tar for this problem and the answer from oracle was:
if you wish to backup your dtabase regardless of metadata corruption use cold backup.
When you use the expotr process it will fail if there is a metadata corruption.
Is this the original purpose of the OWB export? I always was the meaning that the OWB export has something to do with the export tool from the database.

Hey guys, thanks very much for the quick responses. The flags are an important part of the deal since I have hundreds of them that I used to quickly mark which photos might be best for the final edited/polished collection and which could just be archived as is.
So, if sharing the catalog is the only way to share the flags, that will be the best way...except I’ll have to work out the version discrepancy. I’ll confirm, but my dad normally keeps current versions of all software.
If I can get myself upgraded, is the export/import catalogs process pretty easy?
i have all the photos in a folder which has several subfolders. Do I just r-click on that folder and select “export this folder as a catalog”?
And then how would my parents sync that up to their folder? (Their folder, to the best of my knowledge, has exactly the same directory structure and files in it.)

Before going any further in my research, I want to know the views and opinions about the intent of my work I am about to start.
AIM : I am trying to interface an external uvc camera with the ipad 2 and iphone .Just like in android there is a node(in unix and linux everythign is a file)which gets created in the /dev/ directory which can be accesses by the application using the native interfaces (JNI) and finally via the android code.I am trying to develop the similair application for the ipad 2 and iphone.
Can some one plz point out :
(1) How I can interface external hardware like ( external uvc camera) or any other USB device(a card reader, a storage device, a barometer etc)
(2) I have googled about Apple's Authentication chip which can be used to interface the external h/w.Can some one point out how useful it is.Is this related to that somehow.
(3)What are the things similair to JNI, node, /dev/ in the IOS for Ipad 2 and Iphone.
I will be highly obliged ,if some one could provide me the top pointers on it.

BW System copy from PRD to DEV - Reduce database size

Hi All
We are in the process of copying our existing Production BW system (3.5) to become a new Development & test system. We want to reduce the database size significantly from 1.4 Tb to about 150 - 200 Gb. We have deleted all cube and ODS data as well as much of the master data but still have much tablespace tied up in monitor entries (eg table RSMONMESS) and IDOCs. All of the notes I read say that we cannot delete from RSMONMESS in a "Prodcution" environment, however we are creating a new DEV system and really need to get rid of monitor entries anyway. So there are two questions:
1. Any idea how we can clear up table RSMONMESS or delete unwanted monitor entries ?
2. How can we delete IDOCs copied from our production system without archiving them ? (They are of no use in our new test system.)
Please help.

Tables RSMON* (for example, table RSMONMESS) and tables RS*DONE (for
example, table RSSELDONE) continuously increase in size in the BW system
with each request that is created.
Currently there is no option to reduce these tables.
Do not delete any entries from these tables. If you did, this would have
the following consequences:
When you carry out the next check for the requests for which you have
deleted records from these tables, the check will not run properly.
The status of the relevant requests turns RED in the monitor, and also in
all affected data targets that contain the request.
The affected request and all subsequent requests are no longer visible in
the reporting - all queries on the affected data targets then only display
old data.
Numerous dumps will occur in various situations.
You will not be able to repair the errors caused by the deletion.

This is caused by a program error.
Solution
In the next BW release (BI in SAP NetWeaver 2004s - that is BW 7.0), you

After archiving, these tables are then considerably reduced in size.
Until then, there is unfortunately no option for reducing the tables.

How to copy all objects (incl. joins) from a BM into another existing BM

Hello, i'm a regular viewer of this forum and now i have one issue that looks simple but i cannot resolve it.
To make it less complex let's say we have a business layer with two business models (e.g. CIS-Finance and CIS-Logistics). For each BM we have a seperate subject area in the presentation layer.
Each BM has unique objects, no object (like dimension time) is appearing in both BM's.
Now there is a business requirements to have a 'mega' model, that is one extra BM that is combining both BM's. Let says we want to merge both model into one new big model.
To achieve this I did the following:
1) Duplicate CIS-Finance to CIS-All (using right mouse click on BM and click duplicate and change the name of duplicated BM to CIS-All)
2) Then I select all objects in CIS-Logistics and copy all these objects and paste them into the new BM CIS-All.
All selected objects were copied into the BM but the logical joins are not copied as well the content level information of the source tables.
Is there a way to copy also this information (logical joins and content info), or do you suggest another approach to achieve this goal?

what i did:
1) i copied the original rpd to rpd2
1) in the original rpd, i duplicated CIS-Finance to CIS-Logistics (so I have the same name for the BM to where i want to copy to)
2) in the rpd2 i selected all objects in BM CIS-Logistics
3) I pasted all objects to rpd BM CIS-Logistics (so BM has same name)
unfortunately it doesn't work, all objects are copied but not the joins and content.
You suggest UDML, can you be a little bit more specific? I searched the internet, found out what UDML is, but I cannot map it to what I want.
