I'm a user of Last.fm and I love that Spotify let's me use it in every device I use Spotify. But whenever I change my phone or unninstall Spotify by some reason anywhere, I have to fill my credentials again to let Spotify scrobble my music into my Last.fm account. As a feature request, it'd be great to have this Last.fm integration but within the account and not the client. Let's hipothetically say that we have a log in option into Last.fm in My Profile section of Spotify (Web). If we'd use that, we wouldn't need to log the credentials for Last.fm again on another device, and just by signing in with Spotify account we could start listening to music without worrying if the songs were being scrobbled or not.

I'm no trying to be your PR or law firm but, from my perspective, being new to Spotify, I think some of the performer and recording industry comments about your not paying enough could be offset by this simple idea that, few in music seem to understand about streaming: Discovery on a massive scale.Attached is a screen shot I took of just one section of many, many new records I have saved. My saved playlists from others and playlists I made have many, many more performers on them.This is what makes streaming great, and what Apple does not seem to get very well with its Music app.If a performer or label realy gets this idea of making playlists here (and elsewhere) and being on social media (Facebook, Twitter, here) to not advertise or pester but, maybe, once a week, post a new playlist or comment on another performers playlist, these tendrals of connection all mean MORE plays. The good old days of the mega performer selling loads of CDs is not over entirely but, the days of more performers and labels getting more deserving listens is here.I have pretty eclectic tastes (I used to work at Tower Records as a teen and college student) so it is a lot of classical, jazz, but also contemporary, rock, and even African. Both living and dead. Young and old performers.I would have seen NONE of these and did not see much of any music CDs for a decade or more because of music store closure. Spotify brings back the music store and the ability to discover and audition an album (maybe even making the artist some money but not buying it!). Sure, iTunes and Amazon let you do that but, some classical CDs cost $25+ with downloads not that much less AND lower quality on Amazon. I'd listen then weigh it; How many times will I listen to this? Unless it was $7-10 AND I loved it, I skipped buying. I would even hold out a few years for lower price or buy used CDs instead.Now I am listening to more performers of all kinds I would never have heard and never have bought. Perhaps the big names are making less. But many less known but superb performers are being heard by me. If any artist does good work and promotes it online and it is ACTUALLY good work (rare for all genres), then people will listen and they will make money. Bad, unpromoted, derivative, worn out, lousy music with lazy artists or badly run labels, will not make money.

This forum is riddled with questions by users that cannot get their computer to do what they want, *despite* the fact they use a very precise and (usually) unambiguous method of telling it want they want it to do -- a programming language. Making it comprehend *natural* language is, by any way of measuring, a number of degrees more difficult.
That said: in what way would a computer program (advanced or "dumb") be able to help the OP? Spell check is one -- but it's not a *fact* that anything written *badly* equals nonsense. In politics, for example, the most eloquent speakers still manage to make a fool of themselves :D The same goes for "grammar". Of course, bad grammar is more difficult to understand -- EVEN for a human. So a computer is bound to fail on that as well.
Fact checking then? I usually can't even find what I want in one go with Almighty Google (which seems to turn things around: if it cannot find "enough" web pages with the exact phrase you asked it, it automatically assumes you are interested in synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, and other *unrelated* stuff! Yeah THANK you but I want to find what I typed in!)
A good starting point would be to define in more detail what this hypothetical software *ought* to do -- that needs to be a bit more concrete than "I want it to do my job for me."

To make the inbox in the mobile app better. It's frustrating. It won't show the messages my friends send me, and the way songs appear is dumb (in sequence, and not organized together messages from the same friend). I just want to see messages the way I see on the PC for god's sake. And what about making the history for both the mobile and the pc together? It's just as dumb to not being able to search a music in my mobile that I was listening earlier in the pc. Come on guys, It is almost making me stop paying for it because it's really anoying

My new mac did not come with iWeb but all the other iLife programs. Why not?

Is there anyone who knows why I don't have iWeb on my new computer? Have they taken it of? I read somewhere that there stoping mobilme next year and wounder if that is the reason but then you can use it without mobilme so I don't understand why I have everthing else form iLife but not this...

It is now confirmed that iWeb, and iDVD, has been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.
On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. However, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:
◼ Password protection
◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ MobileMe Gallery
All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.
I found that if I published my site to a folder on my hard drive and then uploaded with a 3rd party FTP client subscriptions to slideshows and the RSS feed were broken. If I published directly from iWeb to the FPT server those two features continued to work correctly.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. How to is described in this tutorial: #26 - How to Modify iWeb So Popup Slideshows Will Work After MobileMe is Discontinued.
It now appears that the iLife suite of applications offered on disc is now a discontinued product and the remaining supported iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on. However, the iLife 11 boxed version that is still available at the online Apple Store (Store button at the top of the page) and those still on the shelves of retailers will include iWeb and iDVD. Those two apps were listed in small, gray text on the iLife 11 box that I bought.
Personally, if I didn't already have a copy I would purchase one to have it for reinstallation purposes if ever needed.

Facebook, Twitter, you name it, they all have a delete accout link or button in the account settings. Spotify, what are you afraid of? Please add.

Keychain trying to synchronize with account not being synched with MobileMe

Hey all,
Everything installed fine. Got a message about syncing with a Laptop account that was stolen from me (not recovered) over a year ago. Keychain verification window is displayed and states... "To synchronize your keychain on this computer, enter the password for your user account on "XXXXXXXXXXXXX"
The account that it is asking for is definitely the old account. Puzzled. I am hoping it is not still connecting, if it is, any way I can get info as to the user using it? It was password protected. I have not entered the PW in fear of what it may do. I also removed the laptop from the syncing computers list in MobileMe a week after it was stolen. Back to my mac was not running on the laptop, wasn't an option yet.
Any help or insight would be great.

This solved the issue for me;
Locate the Keychain Utility in your Applications directory under Utilities.
Launch Keychain Utility.
Look for the fields whose Kind�is “.Mac Password.” (Unless you have changed the default Keychain configuration, it/they will be located under the “login” keychain).
Select and remove the fields by pressing the delete key on your keyboard.
Confirm the deletion.
Close Keychain Utility.
You will have to re-enter these passwords next time they need to be used (checking email, syncing to Mobile Me, etc.) and they will be “re-stored” in the Keychain.

HT201320 Okay, not enough space to give information so try this. I have an Ipad with Account not Verified message. How can I verify my account?

I have operational PC skills but have never looked at an Ipad. I'm trying to help a friend with no PC skills learn to use her new (April 29 purchase) Ipad. She was very frustrated and gave up on it shortly after buying it. Initially she had support come to the house and install a router and demonstrate the use of the Ipad. Some usage began but without frequent use and some skills, minimal operational skills evaporated.
I'm getting a little familiar with the Ipad. I think it is communicating with the router. When I go to Settings I see WiFi has NETGEAR07 to the right. Next when I go to iCloud I see a message (Check your (e-mail address) for instructions to verify this account.I looked and did not see any instructions. She may have deleted the instructions long ago. I did contact Apple and had her user ID password reset. What do I have to do to get the Account verified?
The Operator Manual mentions a Setup process but I don't see any way to initiate it again. Just thinking that might be the step to start with.

My Apple ID & password work just fine on all my other Apple devices, but tonight, not on my iPhone.

I have had trouble in the past with my iPhone suddenly needing me to input my password again for Apple ID, iTunes, etc. Usually I just reboot the phone and input it successfully. But not tonight. This has been a really weird night. My iMac works ok: accepts my sign-in with no problem. My Mac Air also has no problem: that's what I am writing this on. Also, my iPad had no problems signing into the App Store and iTunes, altho it had some other strange problems (this space wouldn't show the lettering as I was typing: very odd....). But I have booted and rebooted my iPhone about 4 times this evening, and tried 2-3 times each re-boot to sign in to iCloud, and the **** thing keeps telling me my password and/or ID are incorrect! I am ready to throw the **** thing across the room! iPhone 6 running the latest iOS update as of yesterday. What the **** is going on?

It almost looks like there is something on the phone that is corrupting it
I would back it up to iTunes
Restore to factory settings
See if the problem recurs before restoring the backup or any apps

Please, why not make it easy and just adhere to whatever is the look and feal of the os spotify is currently running on? Why is spotify the only program on my windows PC that won't exit when i hit the X in the top right corner, for example? Boring maybe, but much more practical. (For example, the black theme is completely unreadable on a desktop windows PC. It husrts my eyes. And it is also very nonstandard for Windows desktop's.) As it is, spotify looks and feels a bit to much like a **bleep** IMHO.

Crashes with Lotus Notes client 7.01

This was never the most stable product on a Mac but since leoparding it hangs/crashes after a few minutes. I wonder if its a Places issue and I will deselct and try without places - although that's a really imortant feature for me.
Any other Notes users out there experiencing issues???

I installed Lotus Notes 7.0.2 using the following technique ifound at this thread: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20071028171758588
1. Open the Lotus Notes 7.02 DMG
2. Drag "Lotus Notes Installer.pkg" to the desktop
3. Right-click the .pkg and choose "Show Package Contents"
4. Navigate to Contents/Resources
5. Right-click "InstallationScript" and choose "Open With..." -> Other... and choose TextEdit from the applications folder or choose your favorite text editor.
6. In the script, comment out lines 13 to 18 by inserting '#' at the beginning of each line (you'll see similar lines with comments in them further down in the script if you get confused).
7. Save the script.
8. Double-click Lotus Notes Installer.pkg on your desktop to launch the installer.
9. Run through the installation as normal (you should now no longer get the "Lotus Notes Mac cannot be installed on this computer" error message)
10. Enjoy!
For best results, install the 7.0.3 upgrade (linked to in the previous post) after you've installed 7.0.2.

'Reopen All Windows From Last Session' Will Not Work

So, first Safari won't let me even open a new window and told me that I needed to reinstall and that my version of Safari was missing something - I can't remember the precise thing it told me I was missing. At that point, I restarted to see if that wouldn't fix the problem - it didn't, and 'Reopen All Windows From Last Session' wasn't working then. I reinstalled, and now everything else is working fine exact 'Reopen All Windows From Last Session' - it's not grayed out or anything, but when I click it *nothing happens*
Any help would be appreciated.

PR with account assignment

Dear all,
When we create PR with account assignment (without material master and service no) system gives importance to material group to get GL code.
If wrong material group is used then also PR is saving without GL code in account assignment tab.
How we can stop this?

Unfortunately allowing the use of free text is always going have the downside of making the user responsible for selecting the correct material group.
The way I have got round this problem before was to create Generic materials and Generic services. The generic materials should be expensed directly to a cost object and not be stock items.
An example of a generic material would be;
Material Type     =      GENC copy of NLAG
Number range     =      9000000000
Material Description      =      Centrifugal Pump
Material Group      =      XXXXXX
Valuation Class     =     XXXX
This allows the user to select the material master record based on the commodity they want to procure i.e. u201CCentrifugal Pumpu201D and add the addition text at the time of creating the requisition or purchase order i.e. u201CEnd Suction Pump 3M 2900 rpmu201D.
Since the material master has already been created the material group defaults into the purchasing document and the correct GL Account is assigned based on the valuation class.

No exchange rate difference at Invoice Receipt for PO with account assignme

Hi all,
I have a PO with account assignment "K" postinged to G/L account XYZ.
In OBYC, the MM exchange rate difference (KDM) account is set to ABC.
The exchange rate between GR and IR is different.
I expect there should be an exchange rate difference posting to ABC, but instead it's posted to the GL account in the PO, i.e. XYZ.
Do you know what is missing?

Have you checked if note 980402 is in? We found on a customer system that even though this note was in some settings were still missing which SAP support inserted as follows (per point 49 of the note):
49. Use transaction SM31 to add the following entries to the table T169A.
BUSTW CNT02 VORSL FELDN FELDN_ALT BUZID
RE02 03 KDM KRDIF P
RE10 03 KDM KRDIF P
RE11 03 KDM KRDIF P
RE13 03 KDM KRDIF P
RE21 09 KDM KRDIF P
RE22 10 KDM KRDIF P
After this correct the system is able to post to GL account defined in KDM/KDF ( I forget now which one it used). Note that this assumes the flagg CCCUR is set to activate this functionality. This will effectively override the fixed flag in the PO.
