  • Using Customized group name fields in Live Office

    Hello everybody,
I've created a Crystal Reports based on a BEx Query and including a costcenter hierarchy. Now I want to add this report in Excel sheet via Live Office. I did this according to the official HowTos provided by Ingo Hilgefort. Now I've following issue. When I choose the data for the selected fields in Live Office, I could manage to insert the Live Office object into my report but the display of the cost center hierarchy nodes doesn't comply with the display in Crystal Reports. There I've defined a group with a customized group name field (costcenter.medium description) Live Office seems to use only the costcenter node ID.

Thank you for helping me on my issue.

live office uses web services to authenticate (dswsbobje) which depends on a java app server for kerberos to be enabled to login with AD. Is Infoview working with AD? This would be required. I'm not sure about your other issues.

  • How to create groups in AD using AD group process definition

    Hello,
I want to create group in AD when i create group in OIM & i had achieved this using JNDI & was able to create groups in AD
successfully, now i want to create groups in AD using AD Group process definition which contains create AD Group task.
Can anyone suggest what flow should be followed to achieve this ?
    Thanks & Regards,

I think you can do R & D to acheive this via Event Handler.
    1. Apply Event Handler on Group Object Form.
    In Event handler class.
    2. get the parameter from ADITresource.
    3. Make JNDI call.
    4. Create the same group name in AD.
    There may be easy approach.
Which version of OIM you are using?
    Thanks,

  • Use of group by and having clause

    hi frnds
can anybody explain me the use of group by an having clause in select state ment

    Hi Rohit,
    1. GROUP BY f1 ... fn
    2. GROUP BY (itab)
    1. GROUP BY f1 ... fn
    Effect
Groups database table data in a SELECT command on one line in the result set. A group is a set of lines which all have the same values in each column determined by the field descriptors f1 ... fn.
... GROUP BY f1 ... fn always requires a list in the SELECT clause. If you use field descriptors without an aggregate funciton in the SELECT clause, you must list them in the GROUP BY f1 ... fn clause.
    Example
Output the number of passengers, the total weight and the average weight of luggage for all Lufthansa flights on 28.02.1995:
    TABLES SBOOK.
DATA:  COUNT TYPE I, SUM TYPE P DECIMALS 2, AVG TYPE F.
    DATA:  CONNID LIKE SBOOK-CONNID.
SELECT CONNID COUNT( * ) SUM( LUGGWEIGHT ) AVG( LUGGWEIGHT )
           INTO (CONNID, COUNT, SUM, AVG)
           FROM SBOOK
           WHERE
             CARRID   = 'LH'       AND
             FLDATE   = '19950228'
           GROUP BY CONNID.
WRITE: / CONNID, COUNT, SUM, AVG.
    ENDSELECT.
    Note
... GROUP BY f1 ... fn is not supported for pooled and cluster tables.
    2. GROUP BY (itab)
    Effect
Works like GROUP BY f1 ... fn if the internal table itab contains the list f1 ... fn as ABAP source code. The internal table itab can only have one field. This field must be of the type C and should not be more than 72 characters long. itab must be enclosed in parentheses and there should be no blanks between the parentheses and the table name.
    Note
The same restrictions apply to this variant as to GROUP BY f1 ... fn.
    Example
Output all Lufthansa departure points with the number of destinations:
    TABLES: SPFLI.
    DATA:   BEGIN OF WA.
              INCLUDE STRUCTURE SPFLI.
    DATA:     COUNT TYPE I.
    DATA:   END OF WA.
    DATA:   WA_TAB(72) TYPE C,
            GTAB LIKE TABLE OF WA_TAB,
            FTAB LIKE TABLE OF WA_TAB,
            COUNT TYPE I.
    CLEAR: GTAB, FTAB.
WA_TAB = 'COTYFROM COUNT( * ) AS COUNT'. APPEND FTAB.
    APPEND WA_TAB TO FTAB.
    WA_TAB = 'CITYFROM'.
    APPEND WA_TAB TO GTAB.
    SELECT DISTINCT (FTAB)
           INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF WA
           FROM SPFLI
           WHERE
             CARRID   = 'LH'
           GROUP BY (GTAB).
      WRITE: / WA-CITYFROM, WA-COUNT.
    ENDSELECT.

    Hi,
    These are basic things...
what ever the Columns you are including the Select Clause must
taken into consideration when applying the group by clause..
without the selection in of name column how can you use in Order by Clause..
    while using the group by..

  • Name of person in Purchasing group

    Hi experts
Is there some table or function module that I can find the user name of person in purchasing group?
    Thanks
    Nilson

    Hello Nelson,
I don't know if a table exists to get this kind of information.
Nevertheless, using function module BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP with no import parameter, you will have all purchasing data existing.
In export parameter ET_PURCH_DATA , look for your purchasing group.
In this way, you will get object ID for your Organizational Unit being a purchasign group.
Then, with FM BBP_OM_STRUC_GET_USER_FROM_ORG, you will find all users assigned to this OU.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

We already have a group by the name " Logistics "
Could we have same name's for User and Groups in Active directory?

sAMaccountName attribute is unique. So, the short answer is you cannot.

  • Using Dynamic Groups in Ldap for Accounts and Roles

Does anyone currently use dynamic groups in LDAP for accounts and roles? I have set up a dynamic group in ldap (we are using OID Oracle internet Directory 10.1.2.0) , ldapsearch returns the correct list of unique names, but the account does not appear on my profile page when I log in to UCM (10.1.3). I cannot find any documentation so I'm asking myself if it is supported .....

Thanks tim ... will check, but Oracle are saying :
Oracle Universal Content Management - Version: 7.5.1
Information in this document applies to any platform.
    Product: Content Server
    Version: 6.0
    Goal
Can the Content Server's LDAP provider support, or can it be configured to support, dynamic LDAP groups?
    Solution
The Content Server by itself is unable to process dynamic LDAP groups since the filter that is used cannot read dynamic groups. However, dynamic groups can still work in the Content Server if the permissions for the queried user are generated on the LDAP server side. For example: Novell and Active Directory both have this functionality.
to which I have replied you suport 3rd party ldaps, but not your own? Shurely shome mishtake ..... if ldap search works in a seamless way, surely provider should too ....
Billy, you may well be right, just got a cashflow problem over here !

  • Problem using a group which has a space in it's DN when using LDAP Group mappings in UCS 1.4

    Hey,
We've been implementing LDAP authentication (Active Directory) using LDAP group mapping in UCS 1.4, and we've noticed that when using a group which has a DN with a space in it (such as "UCS Admins") it wouldn't authenticate the user with the appropriate role.
Using a DN without spaces (such as "UCSAdmins"), works just fine.
I should mention that having a base DN with spaces works just fine as well, it's just the group mappings that doesn't work.
I should also mention that Cisco's "Quick guide to configuring ldap for ucs 1.4" shows an example in which the group's DN doesn't include a space.
Is there a workaround available which can make it possible using a group which has a space in it's name?
    Thanks,
    Dor

    Hey Roman,
    Thanks for your prompt reply.
We've tried putting quotes using UCSM which is not possible at all - not for the entire entry nor for the part with spaces.
We've also tried using CLI ("scope security/ldap/ldap-group") where you have to put quotes if you use a DN with spaces, and it still doesn't work. Furthermore, we tried adding quotes only to the part with the spaces, i.e. - CN="UCS Admins",OU=TEST,DC=TEST. It adds the entry without an error, but shows like we would use "CN=UCS Admins,OU=TEST,DC=TEST". Anyway, it doesn't work either.
    Thanks again,
    Dor

  • Is there a process for using Detail Group Regions?

    Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding dynamically displaying stacked detail groups. I want to display a detail group depending on a value that is set in the master group.
The documentation surrounding the Detail Group Regions is vague. Is there a set process on how to do this or even a documented case on how to get it to work? We have tried using Detail Group Regions but when we did the form of the master group was not displayed.

    Steven,
Below is a stripped down version of my app def including the group layout settings. Even with no rendered expression only the relationship and address detail groups appear (person and organization are missing), and instead of the SeachDetails/SearchCriteria form fields the organization table appears above the detail groups.
If I create detail group regions for all four detail groups then no detail groups are displayed and its the address table that appears instead of the form fields.

This error message is not from oracle, btu from your reporting tool. it might be MS Access or whatever other tool that you use. Some of these tools want a unique value to identify the current row. The logic applied depends on the relationship of your tables. however in your case you could do it without the group by condition. THen the rowid can still be applied to your query.

note the usage of alias names to simplified the select
