Allocation Table - cannot create STO

Problem:  Activity status remains Not Active, no worklist can be selected.
Error message:  Site 0000004001: latest generation date (20090629) is not before delivery date (20090629)
Message no. MW371
When creating allocation table to generate STO, we are having problem activating.  The site delivery date is a day later than the dc delivery date.
Appreciate if somebody can please advise what is the causing this problem.
Thank you.

Hi,
In front screen of Allocation table, store delivery date is after the DC delivery date..
for exaple dc delivery date 29.06.2009 and store delivery date 01.07.2009.
This could solve your problem.

  • Cannot create STO

    Hi, i cannot create STOs from plant 100 too 200 but I can create them from 200 to 100.
    The error I am getting is;
    Customer 234556 does not exist( please change entry in plant 200)
    Points will be awarded.
    Keep in mind these are 2 plants in 2 different company codes.

    hi
    Assign your vendor to Delivering plant
    Create internal customer with the sales area of the vendor
    Some more setting for STO: Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO> define shipping data for plants > Go to Receiving plant >assign customer here & Supplying SA (for billing) to Receiving plant here
    Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO> define shipping data for plants > Go to Supplying plant and assign the sales area of receiving plant.
    Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO> assign delivery Type & Checking rule
    Assign the delivery type to document type. In this case, Delivery type NLCC is assigned to Document type NB
    . Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO>Assign document Type, One step Procedure, Under delivery tolerance
    Assign the document type NB to supplying plant and receiving plant
    . After all settings , Create the STO using T-Code:ME21n and Save

  • Allocation table - cross company STO

    Hi,
    I tried to create allocation table for cross company STO, with item category E "E     PO via DC (NB - cross company code)" . However when i save the allocation table with below error. I set the DC and vendor same code. Pls advice
    Thanks
    Distribution center 0000004001: Vendor 0000004001 and distribution center 0000004001 are identical

    Hi,
    I am assuming that you are generating PO as follow on document from Allocation Table. In that case use external vendor instead of DC as Vendor. Hope this will clear your issue. Thanks!

  • Cannot create STO due to Material Not released

    Hi experts,
    I have a query here.
    A part number has block code BL (Blocked) in MM in MRP1 & Costing views. Because of which we cannot create Intercompany Stock Transport Orders.
    However it allows us to create normal PO's for the same part to the vendors. The material status of this block code BL has only Inventory Mgmnt blocked with "B" whereas rest of the settings

    Could you let me know why it behaves differently in normal PO to that of Intercompany Stock Transport Orders?
    Regards,
    Pri

    I dont know the reason, but probably it is to to avoid potential business trouble, to inform requesters at the earliest time that the supplying plant cannot delivery what you request.
    Assume you would create STO today for a delivery in November.
    You would be lucky because you succefully created the STO.
    In November someone in the sending plant would starf processing the goods issue to you, would then realize that it is not possible, would then inform you about that.
    you would get in trouble with your customer, as you cannot meet the promised delivery date.
    Wouldn't you ask him why he did not tell you that in August already?
    But the sending plant has no chance to know this prior to the processing (except they would lookup manually everytime the material master status when you send an order).
    So the easisest way to let you know that it is not possible to move material in the sending plant, is thru the message at order creation.
    As I said, it is just my assumption. You may ask SAP for the correct answer. Maybe another one here knows it.
    Can it be that you do not use delivery processing for this STOs?

  • FM needed to create an allocation table (WA01)

    I'm trying to find a FM or BAPI to create an allocation table (transaction WA01).
    I just find the FM W_FRM_ASSIGN_CREATE_ALLOCATION, but this FM is flag for update task, and it does not return the allocation table number created, also we can't pass parameters for the allocation table header (table auko)
    Alex
    thanks

    thanks, but these FM are not good! One is for update, I check the create one and you have yourself to pass the allocation table number and also it does not provide any error logging if the posting failed,

  • Deleted Allocation Table in vendor PO items

    Hi guys, I write because it is having the problem I describe below:
    It creates an allocation table referencing a vendor PO.
    STO´s are created for each store included in the allocation rule in the allocation table.
    It is noted that there was an error in choosing the allocation rule
    Deletes the STO´s items generated for distribution to stores
    Deletes the allocation table.
    It tries to regenerate the allocation table referencing to vendor purchase order, but this is not generated because the order is linked to the previous allocation table.
    After the situation described, I wonder if there is any way to rearrange the vendor purchase order items so as to disassociate from the allocation table initially created.
    Greetings, and thanks in advance

    how is your problem fixed,please share with me!
    Thanks in advance .
    Deyi.

  • STO Delivery Date is not copy from Allocation Table Site Date

    Hi,
    I have a problem when Stock Transfer Order created based on the Allocation Table, the delivery date is not copy from Allocation Table. E.g. In Allocation Table delivery date is 26.09.2009, but in STO delivery date is 06.11.2009.
    Check the configuration and also check the stock, there is stock available to be delivered on 26.09.2009.
    Can someone please give me a hint to find out what is missing or wrong, and how to fixed this?
    Greatly appreciate for your suggestion and sharing.
    Kind Regards,

    I found the problem finally.

  • Problem creating Allocation Table with Reference to a PO

    Dear Folks,
    I am having problems creating an allocation table with reference to a PO in T-code WA01.
    I read the SAP help that some prerequisites need to exist:
    ==> You can only reference order items flagged as being relevant to a stock split (the Allocation table relevant indicator in the additional item data).
    Can anyone advice me where to find this stock split indicator?
    Also, can anyone advice me how to reuse an allocation table? For example, I had previously created an allocation table with many articles and various allocation rules. I already generated follow on documents for this table.
    Say after 2 weeks, I have the similar requirements that I can make use of the same table, only with minor adjustments to the quantity. How do I create a new allocation table using the existing allocation table data?
    Thanks and Regards
    Junwen

    Any idea please?
    thanks

  • Can create view, but cannot create table / materialized view: Xpath is null

    Hi all,
    We recently moved some XML documents into the database in an XMLType column and want to query the data. I've been writing some queries and turning them into materialized views. I got to one query, and something really strange is happening. My query returns the expected results, but I am getting an error when I try to create a materialized view out of it. Even stranger, I can create a view out of it, and I can manually insert its data into an existing table, but I cannot create a materialized view out of it and I cannot create a table out of it. Here is a brief summary, please let me know if anyone has suggestions.
    Issuing the following commands fails in SQLDeveloper
    -- Creating a materialized view out of the query fails:
    create materialized view element REFRESH COMPLETE ON DEMAND as [query];
    Error at Command Line:1 Column:1 SQL Error: ORA-31063: XPath compilation failed: Xpath is null.
    -- Creating a table out of the query with the following shortcut fails:
    create table element as [query];
    Error at Command Line:1 Column:1 SQL Error: ORA-31063: XPath compilation failed: Xpath is null.
    Issuing the following commands in SQLDeveloper works fine:
    -- Creating a view out of the query works:
    create or replace view element as [query];
    -- Creating a blank table from the query and then inserting data works:
    create table element as select * from [query] where 1 = 2;
    insert into element select * from [query];
    Here is a simplified version of the query...
    I have changed the names around, and cut the query down so maybe it will be a little easier to understand. I did confirm that this query is also having the same symptoms described above. Since I changed the names, executing the query returns no results. However creating a materialized view out of the query still fails with the 'Xpath is null' error.
    create materialized view element REFRESH COMPLETE ON DEMAND as
    select
    m.resource_id,
    xml.*
    from metadata_sources m,
    xmltable(
    'for $i in /metadata/app//*[(self::elem1 or self::elem2) and (parent::form or parent::subform)]
    let $formName := if($i/parent::subform) then $i/../../@name else $i/../@name
    let $subformName := if($i/parent::subform) then $i/../@name else ""
    return <data
    appId="{$i/ancestor::app[1]/idField}"
    formName="{$formName}"
    subformName="{$subformName}"
    elemName="{$i/@name}"></data>' passing m.xml_content
    columns
    app_id NUMBER path '@appId',
    form_name VARCHAR2(50 char) path '@formName',
    subform_name VARCHAR2(50 char) path '@subformName',
    elem_name VARCHAR2(50 char) path '@elemName'
    ) xml;

    As far as creating a structured index, I was under the impression that I would need to then register an XSD. No, you can use it without an XML schema.
    How about a regular relational view, with an underlying xml index?
    That way you also eliminate the need for an explicit refresh step as you would then be querying real-time data, as if it were relational data.
    For example :

  • Cannot create temporary table having identity column

    Hi experts,
    I saw the above error msg while running the following statement:
           create local temporary column table #tmp_table (c1 int GENERATED by default AS IDENTITY (start with 1 increment by 1), c2 int)
         Could not execute 'create local temporary column table #tmp_table(c1 int GENERATED by default AS IDENTITY (start with ...'
         SAP DBTech JDBC: [7]: feature not supported: cannot create temporary table having identity column: C1: line 1 col 48 (at pos 47)
    I understand we can support normal column table creation with identity column, but don't know why cannot support temporary column tables with identity column. Is there any configuration that can enable it for temporary column table? Or what can I do to support it indirectly, like writing a trigger to support it or something else?
    If not, then is there any future plan for this feature?
    Regards,
    Hubery

    Hi Hubery,
    I've heard this trail of arguments before...
    Customer has a solution... they want it on HANA... but they don't want to change the solution.
    Well, fair call, I'd say.
    The problem here is: there's a mix-up of solution and implementation here.
    It should be clear now, that changing DBMS systems (in any direction) will require some effort in changing the implementation. Every DBMS works a bit different than the others, given "standard" SQL or not.
    So I don't agree with the notion of "we cannot change the implementation".
    In fact, you will have to change the implementation anyhow.
    Rather than imitating the existing solution implementation on ASE, implement it on SAP HANA.
    Filling up tons of temporary tables is not a great idea in SAP HANA - you would rather try to create calculation views that present the data ad hoc in the desired way.
    That's my 2 cts on that.

    Hi Peng,
    It seems you have hit a limitation of the Oracle version, which you don't post.
    Limitations are sometimes also called a 'feature'.
    You would need to find out whether this restriction has been lifted in a subsequent release or redesign your application.

    Hi everybody,
    I'm trying to implement the Power Demand Cartridge Example. So far everything is compiled fine, but if I want to use the index the "Create Index" fails because the "CREATE TABLE" cannot be executed. If I run the "CREATE TABLE" with sqlplus (as the cartridge owner) it works fine, but if I use Create Index (as the cartridge owner) it fails. What permissions are necessary? I granted connect and resource to the user :(

  • IS-Retail Allocation: Allocation Table with reference to Purchase Order

    Hi All,
    I have created a allocation rule, in which i have defined the quota for two sites 30:70. i.e. when the STO will be made for 100 planned qty. 30:70 will get distributed.
    Now i want to create a allocation table against a purchase order. In WA01, we get a TAB purchase order, but when i provide the existing PO, system throws a message 'No data corresponding to selection exists'.
    This PO refernce is taken if i have already existing PO for 100 qty, the allocation table will be made automatically of planned qty 100...will distribute 30:70 according to allocation rule mentioned in allocation table.
    Please suggest how can i create allocation table wrt Purchase Order.
