AME for sending reminder notifications every 5 days

Can I use AME to send reminder notification every 5 days for a Pending notification. How can I achieve it. Please give an idea.

In SPD just type Today it will compare current system date.
current item : expiry date [is your list column field]
Today [is system variable just type Today]

New MacBook Pro with 10.6.3 Freezes for 5-10 minutes every few days

I've got a brand new (i7 processor) MacBook Pro with 10.6.3 OS on it. Right from the first day I had it, it has had a problem freezing for 5 - 10 minutes every few days. When it is "frozen" nothing works - cursor doesn't track the mouse, clock doesn't increment to a new minute, nothing updates on the screen.
I turned on remote login, so I can ssh to it and see what's going on, and by running "top -o cpu" I can see that the kernel_task process is using over 100% of the CPU - other processes are getting some cycles - top, for instance - but the kernel is dominating the dispatch queue.
When this first happened, I thought the computer was dead, so I powered off and rebooted. However, once I could see that things were still running but the display was locked up, I tried waiting. Sure enough, every time the system comes back if I wait long enough. When it comes back, everything operates just fine.
Any thoughts on what I can do about this? I don't imagine that killing the kernel_task is a good idea(!). Maybe sending it an appropriate signal? I'm happy to get some more diagnostic information - just give me suggestions on what I can try. Note that it will have to be command line only, as I can only ssh into the laptop when it gets frozen like this.

Interesting - but that poster is complaining about the mouse and keyboard being unresponsive or going dead, not the comprehensive freeze I'm experiencing (unless "go haywire" means freezing). Not only are my mouse and keyboard unresponsive, but windows on the screen stop updating - even the clock in the upper right corner stops advancing.
For the record, I'm using the keyboard in the MBP - not much choice there - and a Razer bluetooth mouse that had no problems with my last MBP.
Still, they could be related. Something is making the kernel get very busy for a long time before it recovers. I just wish I knew what that was AND how it eventually recovers - perhaps I can accelerate the recovery if I knew the cause.
Anybody else experiencing the same thing? Note - I don't get a beachball and there is no cursor flashing (unlike the other thread on freezing). It looks like the system is completely hung, except that I can still ssh into the MBP and run things like top; overall, the CPU is over 70% idle.

Calendar/Notifications: Every other day.

Either using the calendar or 'notifications', I need to have the option of repeating an event every-other-day. I see no option for this in the calendar or notifications. Also, my only computer access is through this iphone.
Does any way exist for setting up an every-other-day option?
I'd rather not have to use/buy an app.
I have the original iphone 5.

In the iOS Calendar app the "Repeat" options for an event are every day, week, 2 weeks, month, or year -- no every-other-day option. It might be a little more work to set up, but create 7 separate events, staggered every-other day, each with a repeat of 2 weeks. That will give you the same result.

Reminder Email every one day

Dear All,
I need to do below
I have one workflow task triggered to approver for approval of object.
If Approver doesnt approve and complete the task in 72 Hrs , and reminder email should be triggered to Approver and one more user every day until he approves and completes tasl.
I have done below things
Mentioned Latest End date and Latest end time which is 72 hours more that current (it comes from expression from a Web Dynpro Process route item) .
In deadline monitoring created a do until loop, with condition of completion of process route item to be completed.
and added send email tasks ( 2 tasks, one to approver and one to relevant user).
will above work?
Also how do i make sure that emails loop is triggered only after 24 Hrs.
In case there is completely different alternative as solution please suggest that as well

Today I found that loop with condition of item status is working but it is sending reminder emails non-stop.
This is right because I didnt put any stop of 24 hours.
Now as per your suggestion I need to add a task with dummy method.
Actually I have created a subtype BOR and delegated to SAP standard BOR.
I added dummy method in that Subtype BOR. But while creating task i am not able to see that dummy method in drop down
in both cases (i put standard BOR or subtype z BOR)

Why do you send me notices every 2 days to update??

It seems as though I am getting notices about "Activation Pending" etc from Adobe every 2 days. WHY?? And when I try to reply to the emails, nothing goes thru? I don't want to click on these links supplied as they might be spam, viruses, etc. So who what is sending out all of this crap in relation to PDF's ???

Workflow for sending reminder mail to approve pending PO in me28

I have a requirement wherein I have to design a workflow to send a mail to the approver if he has not approved the PO in me28.
I don need a workflow for PO approval . Only in the case he forgets to approve a PO for one day he needs to get a mail .

Hello,
Design a workflow template which is triggered when the PO is created. Make the template wait for the event 'RELEASED' which is to be triggered once the PO is released. If the event is received, complete the workflow or else, design the deadline monitoring to send a mail to the concerned person if PO is not released.
You need to take care of the event creation after the PO is released and deadline monitoring of the step in the workflow template.
If this is not possible, you can create a program which collects all the POs which are not released within a day of creation and send a mail to the concerned people from the program itself. You have to schedule this program daily at a particular time to send the mail. You do not need a workflow for this.

I have built workflow as reminder should be sent to Mangaer before 10 days of delivery date once order is closed/won
([<IndexedDate0>] - Duration("P10D")) but mail is triggering immediately order is closed/won irrespective of delivery
date, so my workflow condition is not working at all..

BPMOn: Is it possible to send email notification to different groups based on filter value for IDOC?

I have setup the monitoring for idoc through interface monitoring and I am getting the alerts for the same. The alert is generated for different status values for the same idoc. Now my question is, is it possible to send email notification to two different groups based on the status values?? I mean for example , for a single idoc for some status values I want to send email notification to group1 only and for other status values I want to send notification to group2.Any help will be apperitiated.

We currently do not support that level of control for sending email notifications. If you think others are interested in this you should add an idea here: http://forums.adobe.com/community/formscentral?view=idea

HT201263 hi i have an iphone 4 im fed up with it it keeps freezing and blue screen i have restarted it every other day for 2 wks now even had it in a phone shop now the screen is blue with a white line down the middle and will not let me switch off after

my iphone 4 has been acting up for 2 wks now every other day it keeps freezing sometimes i can wake it by pressing the 2 buttons tog ive restored it restarted it had it in a shop were they got it back on, saying it was the soft ware, but the same day i got it back it froze again, now the screen is blue once again and it wont let me switch it off n sort it with pressing both buttons and the computer isnt finding it, im fed up i will never have another iphone any ideas anyone please

You sound like an Apple support guy who hasn't been able to answer my questions.
To respond to some of the points you made,
- I did not ignore Ocean20's suggestion. If you has read my post, you would have known that I took my phone to the apple service centre where they tried this restore on THEIR machines. I am assuming that Apple guys know how not to block iTunes. So I actually do not understand your point about me trying the hosts file changes on my machine. Do you not believe that apple tested this issue with the correct settings?
- you also give a flawed logic of why the issue is a hardware issue. You mentioned that If I thought that the issue was with the software, i should try a restore and getting it to work. The problem is that my error (23), and many others comes up when the restore fails. And you would be astonished to know that not all errors are hardware errors. Sometimes even software errors prevent restores. Funnily enough Apple itself mention that 'in rare cases, error 23 could be hardware related'.
- all Apple has done so far is replicate the issue. I don not know how anyone can conclude that the issue is a hardware issue.
And by the way, I am not certain that this is a software bug. Again if you read my Posts, you will notice I only want a confirmation,/proof that the issue is hardware related as they mention..

New user profile every 20 days - how to disable?

Hello,
we're using zenworks 7 to manage windows xp sp3 clients. Actually every 20 days every client gets a new one (username.001) is written locally :( - i don't know why. There must be a rule with 20 days in it which is the reason for this behaviour.
Im not familiar with zenworks - but i searched the entire menues from zenworks for a value of 20 days and i found a menue called "Properties of Workstation Pack: Windows XP: Zenworks Desktop Management Agent" with an option "policy definition for dynamic local users" - there is a mark enabled for "enable cache for temporary users" with an value of 20 days - could that be the bad value who is responsible for the new profiles every 20 days? I've set the value to 200 and applied, but nothing changes and next day also 4 users told me that they become a new profile - what can i do.

Sending notifications every after 1 day

Hi Experts,
I need to send notification mail every after 1 day, if the task assigned to the user is not completed.
I tried with adding notification for that action, by selecting duration for 1 day.
But it triggers only once, if the assigned action is not completed before that day.
I want that to trigger after every single day, till taht action is not executed/completed. Is that possible?
Please help me out with this.

Unfourtunaly I don't think there is a way to do this with standard objects. The only way to do it is developing a separate application outside the GP, let say a J2EE application, which registers the notifications that need to be send, read this pending notifications and send the emails. When the task is completed, the task will need to notify this J2ee application about it and delete the scheduled notifications. You will also need to use the Portal Scheduler to run this every day or so. The other thing you may struggle with is the calendar, are you going to send notifications on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays or in general in just working days? There is no standard calendar in the Portal as in SAP HR to use.
It's a bit of a complex landscape but is the only one I can thing of, and the one we were about to implement.

Just noticed this the other day myself. I don't know when it actually occurred. Doesn't seem to be repeating. In my case on two different days with all day calendar entries for trips added by BlackBerry travel, and single air travel legs that appeared independent of the trip destinations. The information was not in BlackBerry Travel. It looked like BlackBerry travel burped out a few trip fragments from somewhere and put them in my calendar.
If I could scroll continuously forward in agenda mode in calendar I would look for other bogus trip entries. For now I'm not going to bother.
