AMIE (CMDB) import don't update importand fields

I made important updates in ZCM11 devices like users (LoginName), serial numbers, Asset Tags, Producers of hardware, etc.
When I push refresh (Import) no changes were made in Service Desk neither in Items nor in AMIE snapshots.
How to ENFORCE updates of ALL important fields?

MIME snapshots were been updated, but the Items didn't.
OK, I think I found the reason.
I have customized import procedure, and have two import "servers". The true is,yhe server is the same, but ServiceDesk assigned some fields to first procedure and others to the second one.
This can be seen and corrected in page User>Configuration>Category>Hardware>Federation
I corrected this to ONE server and will observe.

So far, I can use DW.Utilities.fParseString to assess the values across multiple fields, but I now need to update not only the field in question, but also an additional field at the same time.     All the logic you require can be encapsulated in the import script for the second field. You don't need to reference the second field in the first import script.

  • DTW Some fields don't update

    I am updating lines of a Purchase Order throught DTW. I have multiple fields that I want to update. When I do the import it says that that record updated successfully, yet most of the fields are not updating. Here is my POR1 template:

  • How to update information fields of a profile in Oracle UCM using RIDC

    I have a requirement in which i need to modify/update the metadata/information fields of a Profile in Oracle Webcenter Content(UCM).
    I found out that this can be achieved using RIDC api, but i have little knowledge about the same.
    If someone could suggest about how to retrieve and update the fields in UCM using RIDC or some other approach would be of great help.

  • CSV upload and update table fields

    Hi,
    Is there any way to update any field of the underlying table from HTMLDB while importing the CSV file?For e.g, if there are XYZ table have 200 ermployee where empno is primary key.
    Once we upload the data from CSV its fine.Now after 2 weeks i need to update the sal and ename corresponding to the previous 100 employees only.So now when i trying to update the data a unique constraints violation occurs since the empno have already present so my concern is that -- how to get out of this problem specially when updation of huge no. of records needed and also no updation required for some records already present?Do the CSV update be helpful on that circumstances?
    One thing we can do that we can track down the list of 100 employee whose information going to be updated.Put those info in excel and add rest 100 emplyee to that excel and again doing the CSV upload ?
    This is a huge issue and not only the tedious task but also errorprone and that task will be increased with the amount of data increasing in the table.
    Please anyone can suggest ?

    The best way to solve your problem is next way.
    1º) Save the file with the data to import like a BLOV ITEM.
    Ok it can be done. CSV placed on BLOB data field.2º) Make a procedure to manage this BLOV item that can be fired by user pushing a buttom. (you can do it easy from HTMLDB).
    how to manage ? What need to be fire to push the CSV to the target table with the actual field population ?3º) Into this procedure insert the records freely and dont worry for anything more. (maybe you can be worry about duplicate records is so, only, into this same procedure make any pl/sql lines to be sure record is not duplicate before insert)

If the data already exist it should be needed to truncate before insert that is not my reqr rather the existing data should be updated based on PK if any chages occurs in the CSV fo that data.4º) after you are sure the insert work properly and if you need any other treatment to record, with a trigger in the table or calling any other procedure from the same trigger make the traeataments that you need.

  • How does the Updated by Field Work....

    Hi Experts,
    Can anyone help on how the *Updated By* field values are populated, specially when the values are updated through a Workflow.
    I read the following in the MDM Documentation.
    If trigger action is Record Add, Record Update, or Record Import for a workflow. The [System] is the creator and launcher of the job but is not a real user.
    This is even true if the Owner of the workflow is the Admin.
    After our server migration was done, instead of showing [System] as the Updated By it now shows the Admin.
    What could be the reason for this. Do i need to contact SAP or is there something that needs to be done at the respository level to get the Updated By field to work as expected.

    Hi Aditya,
    As far as i am concerned, this is not true. Field Updated by type of User Stamp should only show user's which are there in User's table of MDM console under node Admin-->Users. When we don't have any User of repository with name System, there is no point it will show you user System for field Updated by.
    Query 1: Can you please confirm, do you have this User "system" available in your repository under node admin-->Users in MDM console ?
    Query 2: Also, After our server migration was done, instead of showing System as the Updated By it now shows the Admin.
    I seriously have doubt on this. Can you please check do you have really user System for existing records too? I mean you can do Free-form search for field Updated by with value system. I am sure even for existing records (whether in before server migration or in existing) you will not get single record with field updated by "system" . Can you please confirm on this ?
    May be I am wrong, so kindly revert with your findings and confirm above both queries..?

    Need some guide here on HR master data updates. I have a requirement here to update Action Type(MASSN) using these tables mentioned by using 'HR_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE' & 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION'. Should I first do a join statements for all these tables and update the fields at the end of my program or should I use these fm as and when my requirement validation is done?Appreciate it alot for your guide to clear my confusion.

    I have gathered all the 5 tables data into a itab, but then the tables are updated using the 3 FM
    a) HR_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEE
    b) HR_EMPLOYEE_OPERATION

    But the thing is, it has to meet the conditon of action type (MASSN) before updating the tables, for my case i have 3 scenarios,
    Change, Leave & Hire.

    I am Implementing BADI  '/SAPAPO/SDP_SELECTOR' to upload Custom Fields Data in Planning Book Selection Window under APO Location Product. These Custom Fields are maintained in Custom Table.So from Table whatever Custom Fields are availabe all the fields needs to be available in for selection. Once selection is done the same data to be uploaded into Planning Book.
    This BADI is working Fine upto 4 fields but if any extra fields are added in the table 'Error in updating ALV field catalog in selection tool' error Pop Up is coming. Here i am using Folloowing Methods
    1). INIT_OBJECT_LIST
    2). F4
    3). LOC_PROD_VALUE_LIST
    Please help on the same if u have any idea or clue.

  • Master Detail Form - How 2 update a field in the Detail form using a query?

    Hello,
    I have a master detail form with, each master record having a fixed(6) number of detail records. One of the fields in the detail record is the PART_DESCRIPTION field. I am trying to update this field by querying Table_X. TABLE_X is in the format of (desciption id, description). Description id runs from 1 to 6.
    When the form displays, the PART_DESCRIPTION field for the 6 detail records needs to be automatically populated with the six values of description stored in Table_X. How can this be done?
    Tried using session storage objects, but made no headway.
    Would greatly appreciate pointers on how to go about doing this.

    I'm looking for a way to update the values of data fields in a merged document with a script just as you can do with the user interface.
    I don't find any method like "updateDataFields ()" in the DataMerge object.
    Si I try to invoke the menu action "Update Data Fields", but it fails. The script error message is: "Error 53762, the script is not active." On the contrary, the action works if I use the interface.
    Can anyone help me?

    I want to create a dynpro where two fields are. Field 1 allows the user to enter a customer number, field two shall come up with a number that is calculated somehow. The calculation can last up to 20 seconds, so I dont want to make the user waite for this number.. .he shall be able to work with the rest of the dynpro.
    Therefore I called the function that does the calcuiation like that:

    Hi Manfred,
    Replace all the DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE-related content by the following statement:
    SET USER-COMMAND 'xxx'.
    While DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE does update the fields, a roundtrip is not triggered so the content of the fields will not be refreshed. The SET USER-COMMAND does that.

    Dear Experts,
    I am working on screen exit In MIGO transaction for transfer Posting.
    I checked that BADI MB_MIGO_BADI having facility for screen exit and method line_modify having facility to change GOITEM Structure for the changed line item.
    Now, to make this functionality work I have enhanced include structure CI_COBL which is available in both mseg table and goitem structure, now I have this customized fields on my custome tab through the enhancement and also to update this value 2 custom fields created in goitem structure and MSEG table through include structure  CI_COBL.
    Here my question is at the time of transfer posing creation in MIGO when I am passing the value in custom fields through screen and assigning it to custom fields of structure GOITEM through LINE_MODIFY method, it is giving me below worning message
    BADI: Field GOITEM-ZZIDNLF is not ready for input. (Change is not taken over)
    Now I have debuged the code, also checkout many threads and came to know that because of few checks in standred program (iNCLUDE:LMIGOKL3) these fields will not be updated WHERE IT always checks whether these fields are ready for input or not and if not ready then instead of assigning the values it throws worning message.
    Now can you please through some light how can I go ahead as I have check out many threads and also tried to change value of cs_goitem structure using field symbol but throughing dump that it is blocked against changes through field symbol.
    The helpful answers will be highly appriciated.

    In the badi mentioned by you GOITEM is the importing parameters & if the relevant field is not used in any MIGO screen you cannot change the data.
    Please check example BADI interface: IF_EX_MB_MIGO_BADI~LINE_MODIFY
    Please check the BADI documentation:
    Changed data in GOITEM is only adopted if the relevant fields are visible and ready for input.
    Changed data in GOITEM is not adopted if the relevant field is not used in any MIGO screen (warning via MIGO 049).
    Changed data in GOITEM is not adopted if the relevant fields are not ready for input (warning via MIGO 050)

    According to your description, my understanding is that  you want to update SharePoint field value from a CSV file recursively.
    We can import CSV file using the Import-CSV –path command, then update the field value in the foreach loop.
    Here is a code snippet for your reference:
