Hi All,
We have upgraded our SCM patch level from 06 to 08.
After patch upgrade we are facing a problem in CTM run.
Error message is as follows :
'An exception occured in communicaiton object: An'.
I could not see any entry in rcc_version or opt09 tcode.

I already saw this error.
Please run the reports /SAPAPO/TSCONS, /SAPAPO/CONSCHK and Livecache consistency /SAPAPO/OM17.
Also,the other reason for this could be from Basis side i.e:Network problems between the APO system and the CTM engine, please check all this.

from the command line with verbose option. This will cause

The problem is with the patch level after upgrading to PI 7.11. AS suggested by Hareen..Apply the latest patch (note:1344144). The problem will be resolved.

Error 363507 occurred at LabVIEWHTTPClient.lvlib:GET.vi:390001 - after upgrade to LV2014SP1

I am using the HTTP-tool to get the body text from a website.
After upgrading LV 2014 to SP1 I now receive:
Error 363507 occurred at LabVIEWHTTPClient.lvlib:GET.vi:390001
Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW: LabVIEW could not verify the authenticity of the server.

Before the upgrade this worked with no issues.
My code also works fine on another PC that does not have SP1 (but 2014).
I tried installing the Runtime-Engine 2014 SP1 on a new PC - this also fails with error Error 363507.
What is going on?
The website I access is a public one, freely available in any browser. So I should not need authentication.
Obviously something changed going to SP1.

Well, I can see the site from here, though some of Google's automatic translation from Danish to English does sound a little ominous, like the story: "Police Control of Easter" -- which is actually a story about the police stepping up DUI drug and alcohol enforcement, not the police controlling Easter.
But on a serious note, I don't see an issue right off, though it does appear to be related to that one site. One more thought, does this happen with all the links on that site? It might be related to this one page.

Frozen during library update after upgrade

I know that lots of people have posted about this problem, but I was told that I shouldn't post on their topics and start my own . . . so here goes.
After upgrading to the latest version of itunes, I launch itunes, which then proceeds to update my library. About 75% through the process itunes freezes and does not respond. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall both itunes and quicktime, I have shut down my firewall, I have rebooted, but I can't get anything to work.
I read a thread about problems with compatibility issues with Vista, but I am running XP. So is this an issue with Microsoft? Unfortunately, I am not about to purchase a Mac right now. Has someone found a fix for this issue? PLEASE HELP! I am not especially computer savvy, but I have put in the effort to research this as best as possible and would appreciate some advice!

I've been using Vista with iTunes just fine, even before Apple came out with a "compatible" version. This happened to me upon upgrading to 7.3.1.3. Searching the web I've seen lots of posts from people having this on XP and Mac a couple of years ago. I don't think this is a new problem with Vista.
I tried unistalling the latest version, and going back to 7.2...but it still locked up during library conversion. I did do an experiment where I copied my iTunes directory somewhere else, reinstalled iTunes 7.3, and it opened up fine as a "new" computer. I reversed the process and the problem came back. Right now it looks like the only way to recover is to rebuild my library on a new iTunes install, which is a pain.

MailTo: at LinkToURL object doesn't work after upgrading to SP14

I am using LinkToURL and set it's value to an email address like this: mailTo:[email protected]
This was working great until I've upgraded the portal from SP11 to SP14. Now when I write this I receive an exception "Invalid URL...".
Any idea why this is happening and what do I need to do in order to fix it?

An absolute URL has a protocol (URI scheme) of the list defined in the configuration property sap.url.protocols.
This parameter can be changed using Visual Admin Tool
-> Services -> Configuration Adapter -> webdynpro -> sap.com -> tcwddispwda -> default.properties
URLs with a protocol other than the ones defined by the sap.url.protocols property wont be considered valid.
The entries of the sap.url.protocols property after installation of the Web Dynpro runtime are: http, https, ftp, mailto."

Authorization objects for EA-PS after upgrade

We are upgrading from ERP 4.6c to ECC 6.0 (IS-PS 462 to EA-PS 6.00).
On preliminary tests we have found that we need to add a few authorization objects to the users, but we want to minimize that.
We opted to deactivate BAdi implementation "FMBS_ADDON_AUTH_FI" and to mark the two checks inside IMG "Activate Old Authorization Check"
Although we have found authorization issues with objects:
F_FICA_FTR and
F_FICA_FCD
Is there a list of Objects that we need to add to the roles that I can review? or maybe an OSS Note or SDN article about this?

Hi, I have been studying this, and I have found that the error message I saw yesterday definitely speaks to the problem I have been having.
I created a test role with one transaction, then went into SU24 for that transaction and made a new auth check with display 03. After I updated that role in PFCG (maintaining the new authorization), I went back to SU24, changed that new auth check by removing 03.
When I went back into the role in expert mode, the maintained authorization was gone and replaced with a new standard authorization with no values.
My concern is that wherever the authorization checks are coming from, their construction is corrupt! I'm not even sure that the original auth checks are OK -- if they had values that were later taken out, I am concerned that they will cause this error I am seeing.
I'm getting ready to upload the auth check tables from QA back to the Sandbox, but I'm not sure that will solve the problem if there is another cause for this. Is there some other setting/selection that someone must have clicked on that is now causing this problem? I still don't have a clear answer on that, and I would love to know.

Raw file settings missing from smart objects in tiff files after upgrade to CS6

Yesterday I was using Photoshop CS5 and RAW 6.4 (?) in a Windows environment.
When editing photographs, I generally open the photo in Camera Raw, make development changes (ie exposure, contrast, etc) and then open the developed image as Smart Object in Photoshop. I then clone, add layers, masks, etc. and then save the final image as a tiff.
Yesterday, I upgraded to Photoshop CS6 and RAW 7.0. Now, when I open my tiff files and Smart Objects in the RAW editor, my exposure, contrast, and black settings are missing (reset to zero). My graduated filter settings are also missing.
It seems to me that the embedded sidecar data in the tiff / Smart Object is not being read correctly.
How can I update my old tiff / Smart Objects? Re-developing thousands of photos is impractical.
NOTE: As a side note, I opened a RAW file with xmp data (not stored as a tiff/Smart Object) and had no problems.

Random reboots during phone calls after upgrading to OS4

My 3GS is rebooting without warning in the middle of calls after the upgrade - never did this before. This has happened at least five times today without any pattern: one 50-minute call was fine but other shorter ones have been cut off without warning. Battery is fine. It's been doing this ever since I upgraded last week.
Also I have noticed the whole phone has slowed down dramatically, presumably due to multitasking loading up the CPU?

Dynamic JNLP causes exception on 1st run after java install

I have a dynamic JNLP file (php) which runs my software. It works just fine, except for the 1st time it is run after a user has installed Java.
I get the exception; "The following field was missing from the jnlp file: <jnlp>". When I look at the jnlp code in JWS in the "Launch File" tab of the error message, I see that the JNLP is not there - but the page the user would see if he was not logged into the system (as if JWS has cached the file or something).
If I close it down, press F5 to refresh, and run it again everything works fine.
I'm running the dyanmic.jnlp?dummy=randomnumber943934 to prevent caching. In addition, these headers are sent: (php code)

I think you're dynamicallt created jnlp is invalid in someway; I can use the following without any problems:

you should try and test the output of your generated code, something like this should work:

The first time a jnlp is called it is downloaded into the browser cache and javaws.exe is executed on it from that location, this in turn downloads the jnlp again from the passed codebase & href attributes into the jws cache. Subsequent calls the jnlp are extracted from the copy in the webstart cache, and often downloaded from the codebase & href attributes when it detects possible changes. In your case these jnlp files seem to differ.

Hi Khadar,
1) The information you have provided is the CTM optimiser log.
Run the job in background and in sm37 and click on job log &
analyse the exact error happened. In case if you are not able
to do, please provide the error log.
2) Check the livecache is stable in its operations when the job
runs (check with basis team)
3) Run consistency check for master data before CTM run
4) Check for any struck queues and clear those and rerun
5) If you feel more inconsistencies in system, run livecache
consistency and rerun CTM run

Hi Dragan,
First of all we need to put some debug (System.out.println) to findout exactly which object reference is actually becoming NULL. From there only we can start diagnosis on this issue. that's the root. It should be very easy for your Developers to put some debug on that...because the NullPointerException is being thrown by your code...I m not Blaming on your Code... WLS may be responsible for that...but first of all we need to find out Which Object is becoming NULL.
