  • Officejet 8600 missing parts of online shopping cart orders I receive

My new networked Officejet 8600 is selectively printing parts of an online shopping cart whose orders I print out. The order shows perfectly in the 'preview screen" but certain parts of the order, such as the city, are blank spaces.
Also, when testing other online pages, they  come out fine. Don't know what to do! Please help. The shopping cart company blames the printer.

I found and corrected the issue.
A BADI Enhancement Spot ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST was implemented. The Method IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~PROCESS_ITEM was modified within this Implementation. The focus of this upodate was to Modify the ROUTE information within the SHIPPING information in the PO Update Process (PTV Internal Table within  ABAP SAPLMEPO). Unfortunately, the ultimate update of this internal table destroyed the UPDKZ indicator, which signifies when the EKPV record is to be created ('I') or updated ('U'). The update ultimately did not create the EKPV record.
Once this METHOD and the above SAP Enhancement (MM06E005 - EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 - ZXM06U43) were corrected, an STO Modification (creation of a new Item) ALWAYS creates a Shipping Tab (EKPV record).

  • Online shopping carts & iCal

Can iCal integrate with an online shopping cart like 'zencart' or 'interspire'?
Where basic details of an order can be automatically sent (like an invite) to iCal.
It's a long shot, but any tips would be appreciated.
    Cheers
    Lox.

I've just noticed this today, when looking at 'New Order' conformation data (sent via email) from the shopping cart, OSX recognises calender dates & postcodes and offers me the option to manually insert that data straight into iCal & Address Book.
I would really love to automate this process, would an apple script do the job?

  • Online Shopping Cart

I have multiple items placed in my shopping cart that I'm trying to purchase. Every time I click on my shopping cart it reroutes me to say "Page Not Found". I've tried it from 2 separate laptops dozens of times over the past 5 hours and always get the same thing. It's very frustrating when there are only 2 items in the cart that I'm trying to purchase before they say out of stock.
I've also attempted to go to the cart and purcahse them via my cell phone. In those case I can see my cart but it says there are more items in there than I want. I try to alter it and nothing happens, the page refreshes. I click on checkout to try to procced and it comes up "File not Found".
What is going on with your website? It should not be this difficult to make a purchase.

    Hi Agonzal,
    Here's the latest update:
In order to improve performance and reliability, some customers are now seeing this message upon visiting www.BestBuy.com: "We're Sorry. BestBuy.com is currently unavailable." Please check back early and often for access. We expect greater stability in the overall system within the next 20-30 minutes. Some customers are reporting greater success accessing m.bestbuy.com via their mobile phones.

  • Adobe manager prevents me from using any ONLINE shopping cart ?

I can't even buy a book on my audible account ...when I click anything to "add to cart" it takes over and I cannot get rid of the crazy program! What do I DO???

Acrobat should have no effect on what you are seeing. Please let us know your OS, your version of Acrobat, a complete description of what you are doing and what is happening, any error messages and possibly a picture so we can see exactly what you are seeing.

  • Steps involved in creating an online SHOPPING BASKET / CART

I am trying to learn how to create a website for selling products online, and I have no idea where to start with the details of adding a shopping cart to a site etc. All I know (I think) is that SSL Certificates are required for the secure page where payment details are asked for.
So, first of all, could someone please break it down for me in simple terms what I need to know (and do) in order to create this feature on a website. Step 1, Step 2, Step 3..... etc.... I just need to know how it all functions, and then I can ask for more specific help based on each step.
Many many thanks in advance for helpful advice from those who are skilled and knowledgeable about this setup.

First, contact your bank to set-up a merchant account.  You'll need one to accept on-line credit cards.
Second, establish accounts with your payment processing gateway providers like Authorize.net, PayPal, Google Checkout, etc...
    Third, find a cart that
    a) supports your payment gateway(s) and
    b) uses a server-side programming language supported by your web server. PHP/MySQL is widely supported by most commercial hosts. If unsure, check with your host.
Time is money.  If you crave a full array of shopping cart features and flexibility to customize your cart pages, you'll need to pay.  Cartweaver is very reasonable when compared to other shopping carts in its class.  You get what you pay for.  If your cart requirements are few and you don't have a lot of products to sell, Coffee Cup Shopping Cart Creator might be all you need.  Last time I checked it retailed for under $50.
Finally, I highly recommend against collecting or storing sensitive credit card data on your site.  If you do, you'll have a hell of time with PCI compliance.  See Payment Card Industry - Data Security Standards guidelines:
http://www.pcicomplianceguide.org/pcifaqs.php   IMO it's safer all around to pass your customers over to the payment processor's site to complete their CC transaction.  If you do it this way, you won't need an SSL.
    Good luck,

  • Online store & shopping cart

    Hi All,
Trying my luck with an online store. Anyone familiar with Zen
    Cart (open source)?
Any DW extensions. Don't know PHP, ASP etc.
    Thank you!

There's really no one-size-fits-all solution. It depends on
what you're selling, how many items you have, what kinds of options
you want to give shoppers, etc etc etc. It also depends, as
mentioned previously, your level of expertise. Since you're at a
lower skill level (and as Seinfeld says, not that there's anything
WRONG with that), you'll probably want something simple. But again,
it depends on what you want to do and what you want from your
redesign. There are just too many variables to recommend one thing.
Google "Shopping carts" and sift through the results.

  • SRM 7.0 Process-Controlled (BRF) Workflow -- Error message to Shopping Cart

I am modifying a BRF Expression used to calculate approval levels.  During this calculation, I may run into error conditions (e.g. Currency tranlsation not found) that I want to display to the user (in the Shopping Cart).
I have tried raising the following exceptions:
    /sapsrm/CX_WF_RULE_ERROR.
    /sapsrm/CX_WF_RULE_ABORT.
Raising these exceptions do result in SLG1 log entries being written, but the User is not informed of the error (ie. at top of shopping cart where other messages display).
I can probably jump out of the Webdynrpo to read logs, but thought there MUST be some standard way of passing error conditions from the BRF, back to WF, and then back to the Webdynpro Window.
Anybody raise error messages back to the online user from Process-Controlled Workflow?
    Thanks,
    - Tim

    Hi Saravanan,
I am actually modifying the Approval Limit Checks (for multi-currency translations) that you recently coded in Maryland.  It can occur that errors occur in determining limits (new Currency translation I just added), or during the lookup of agents (ie user config is inconsistent).
In these cases, I can make the shopping cart Dump, by raising untrapped error messages, or assertions.   However, I would like to raise exceptions that get trapped (such as the ones I identified in original post), and then make their way to the shopping cart.
Unless I am missing something, I don't think the WF BADIs, or BRF are gonna communicate errors back to the shopping cart, even though these components are called during cart creation and checks.
I realize that I can recode the Agent Determination BADIs,  BRF calls, or even read BRF logs within BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.  I mentioned this in my original posting as well.
    Anyway, any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    - Tim

  • Open source shopping cart wont open with safari

    Hi all...
I'm designing cart templates for a company that supplies an interface for uploading product to an open source shopping cart. The problem is I can't open the shopping carts with safari. They are fine with firefox and on a PC. (forgive me for swearing) The sites are open source carts based on php scripting with a lot of compressed data. A software interface is used to upload products etc... The error I get is
"Safari can’t open the page “not sure if I can put the link here as it is a business”. The error was: “bad server response” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1011) Please choose Report Bug to Apple..."
It's the same for all the sites using the carts.
Is there a fix at the user end or does safari simply not have support for these carts. Any help would be awesome....

PCI Compliance. As a merchant (online or brick & mortar store), you must take necessary steps to ensure your customer's CC info doesn't fall into the wrong hands.  One way to do this is to pass your online customers off to a 3rd party processor like PayPal or Authorize.net. These companies are experts in safely gathering sensitive data, encrypting it and transmitting it to your payment Gateway and Merchant Bank account.  This way, your customers never enter any sensitive data into your site's databases which avoids a lot of headaches for the web developer and merchant.
Server Security. Use a reliable web host. I can't emphasize this enough.  Cheap hosting is no bargain especially if your host doesn't take reasonable steps to secure their servers at their end.
Lock down your php scripts & form log-ins to defend your site against possible hackers & robot exploitation.  If your site is ever compromised, you will need reliable backups of your Site files and MySql data.  Make sure to backup these files regularly and store them in a safe place.
Backend log-in.  Use strong, encrypted passwords -- 17 characters, upper & lower case with symbols.  If you can remember your passwords, they're not strong enough.  I keep mine written down in a Rolodex.
Change the Admin log-in name to something less obvious like GrandHighExhaltedMysticRuler or something only you will recognize as the site's admin level user.  It's also a good idea to change your server, database and backend log-ins regularly.
Finally, consider running SecureLive on your web server. I have it running on a dedicated server and this software has more than paid for itself.  It identifies hacker attempts, blocks the user and sends the hacker's IP address to an FBI database.  SecureLive - Home

how do i add a shopping cart to iweb

The most common way to get paid for selling goods online is PayPal. Once you have setup an account and added the buttons to your site, PayPal takes care of the cart and collecting the money.
Here's an example of a website page set up for selling. The following pages illustrate how to create the buttons and give an example of how a shopping cart works using one of PayPal's partner digital delivery services.

  • Finding/Developing a Database/Shopping cart system

    Hey everybody,
Heres my predicament. I am the webmaster/designer of
    www.libertypromotions.com, a custom die-cast car company. We have a
database of 20,000 clients who have all purchased from us before.
Currently when we offer a product, clients can place an order
online into a MySQL database, but after the sale, we have to
manually import those same orders into an access database on our
local machines. The process is time consuming, we have approx. 1000
orders a month that we hand process this way. In addition to this,
the products can only be purchased on the correct time, if they
have purchased 10+ previous products than they can order day 1, 5+
day 2, 1+ day 3 (or something to that affect) So evey month we
recieve 1000 phone calls/email on how many times a client has
    purchased.
So what I am looking for is this, A system where the client
can log in, see their billing/shipping address, their CC on file,
and their number of purchases. I also would like this to control
sales, they have to login, and if they are in-eligible to order
they are stopped before placing the order. I need it to be easy to
use, customizable, and secure. At the same time, I need to be able
to upload my current database, I would have 20,000 angry customers
if I wiped out their current purchasing records. We also need it to
function as a traditional shopping cart, with some sort of
scheduling function based off of previous purchases (it may not be
10+, it may be 30+, or never purchased, etc). I have some other
features I would like, but I will discuss those more in depth with
    anyone who asks.
So can anyone help me develop this/ develop this for me? I am
willing to discuss payment options, and would like to get it
completed by September if possible. Any and all help on
developing/resources/ other ideas suggestions, would be greatly
    appreciated.

  • Process Improvement for Shopping Cart

I would like to have the availability to contact customer service regarding a recommended process improvement for Verizon customers.  I have been a loyal Verizon since 2003, but my most recent experience is enough to drive me straight into the arms of T-Mobile and take them up on their offer to buy me out of all 6 contract agreements on my Verizon account.
I recently attempted to upgrade my device online.  It was a relatively seamless process until I reached the end and got to the shopping cart.  I elected to pick my phone up in the nearest store but to do so you have to pay online with a credit or debit card.  You do not have the option to bill your account or pay in the store.  As it turns out, the billing zip code that is associated with your credit card MUST match the service address zip code on your Verizon account.  I am an identity theft victim and because of this all of my mail goes to a Post Office Box for security reasons.  I obviously do not live in a Post Office Box, so my service address will never match the zip code on my billing address.
I am keenly aware that this is probably done for security reasons.  Verizon doesn't want people obtaining a compromised account and sending a phone just anywhere.  However, I was not opting to have anything shipped to me.  I was picking up in the store so it should not matter what my billing zip code is.
The part that was most frustrating was the customer service individuals that I spoke with suggested things like (1) I should contact my bank and all of my bank statements and credit/debit card statements come to my house or (2) update my Verizon service address to the physical address of the Post Office even though I don't live there.  When I was told to do option 2 listed above, I was told I had to log out of my account for the change to take effect and then re-log back in only to lose my entire order.  All of this just to place an order and pick it up in a store.  All I needed to do was just pay for my phone.
I next gave up and went in to the store.  After an hour of waiting and trying to figure out where the problem was, the Verizon store couldn't take the coupon code that the customer service person had given me online.  Translation - after all of this frustration with a dead-end result, I learned I was going to have to pay about $100 more for my phone.  I walked away.
I went back online and the only option I had was to go back to square one and re-order online and this time, elect to have the phone shipped and billed to my account.  I chose overnight shipping and just learned that the phone was shipped UPS ground and will be delivered after 5 days.
Needless to say, this has all been extremely disappointing and the most frustrating part is that it is all avoidable with a simple programming change.  All of this was totally unnecessary.  As an identity theft victim, I will NEVER have my mail delivered to the mailbox in my neighborhood.  Does Verizon really want to offer that as a suggestion for people who want to buy a phone?  Do they want to be responsible for the results?  With identity theft being the fastest growing crime in America, somehow I just don't see that as a viable solution.  There are many, many people just like me who don't have the same physical and billing addresses.
Finally, I will leave you with this question... Have you ever had this much trouble placing an order and paying for that order online?  If I went to a store and purchased a phone in the store, would Verizon's payment processor care that the billing address on my credit card was different from the physical address where I live?  NO!  Companies are typically ready to take your money!  It shouldn't be this hard to just pay someone for a phone.
If anyone can point me in the direction of how to make sure someone from Verizon Corporate is aware of this problem and that this is taken under consideration for future enhancements/changes to their eCommerce system it would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
I think your process level evaluation id is not true, that is the reason system skips the process level.. Can you check your evaluation event-expression code. What do you see in SLG1?  For testing purpose change the evaluation id to 0EV000 and check. Make Sure you debug through the user(requester) that you are creating the SC. Please test and let me know...
