Announcing new vlog series: HP How To For You!

If my fellow Community Manager has seemed a little quiet lately (very unlike him), it's for good reason: he's been busy filming a new vlog series called "HP How To For You" alongside fellow HP team member Steph, which actually launches tomorrow!
This vlog series aims to provide educational how-tos, plus tips and tricks for how to use your HP products more effectively. There will be a new episode every two weeks, so be sure to follow the YouTube channel for the latest! If you have any feedback or there's a particular topic that you'd like Bill and Steph to cover, be sure to share it in the comments on this post or on the video.

Thanks for the fast reply. That got me going in the right direction.
It seems like when I look at the hot sync log several glitches are present. I'll have to do some more reading in the forums, but in short.
1) My treo and old windows desktop manager called items "tasks" on the mac palm desktop they are called to dos, and I am having a bit of trouble in sync. On the Mac desktop I can't figure out how to hide completed to dos (when I'm done with them I no longer want them to display!). I also find on the handheld that when I enter a new task and include a note, that the task transfers to the to do list, but the note goes to memos! Is there any way to stop that other than just not using the note feature in tasks app on the phone? Why can't the task item on the phone's note carry all the way to the to do item on the Mac?
2) also on my Mac datebook view is there any way to stop to dos from appearing on the calendar/datebook? I can't seem to find an option to change this preference.

1. Oracle Policy Automation Connector for Siebel v10.2 requires rulebases to be created with Oracle Policy Modeling 10.2.
2. Siebel and OPA are separate applications with their own system requirements. There is no need for them to be deployed on the same operating systems / application servers.
3. The siebel-data-adapter.properties file is found in, for example, the siebel-wd-embedded.war files (for Java) in the location described in the documentation, and in the corresponding .zip files (for .NET).
Note that Oracle Policy Automation Connector for Siebel v10.3 is planned to be available on E-Delivery within a few weeks.

How long for new apps for review and approval by apple?

Hello there; was wondering if for a new apple developers' account, how long for a brand new app review? We submitted ours 6 days ago and wondering how long until the app gets reviewed and once in review mode, how long before approving it on the app store? Our app has been thoughraly QA'd and developed according to the Apple standards and recommmendations. Thank you.

When i uploaded my application it took around 12 working days, If there is any problem in the app, apple team will send you the error to the mail.

OK, at least 3 is working.
I don't know how you have a Tape Recorder icon on your Home Screen. I cannot add one myself. But, I am running Holo Launcher in replacement of the default LG "Optimus" User Interface. It's much better in my opinion.
Try long pressing the icon and select Edit and maybe you can change some attribute of the icon.
Another thing you could do, is long-press an empty area of your desktop, to add an icon. Select Shortcut, then Select Contact, and scroll through your contact list and choose the contact that you added for *86.
You realize if you have voice mail you haven't heard, there is a tape recorder icon in the notification bar, which you touch and pull down, then press it to dial voicemail.
If that functionality doesn't work, you MIGHT want to consider doing a factory data reset on your device, but that is going to nuke all your personalizations and cause you work to set up again.

This is bad and I am sorry to hear that you are running into these issues.
Let me connect with you, so right now, the current state is that you have installed copy of PSE 8 in trial on your windows 7 machine, and when you are trying to enter the serial number from your PSE 8 Box, it is saying the serial number to be invalid?
It might sound pretty obvious, but please make sure that you are entering the serial number correctly and of PSE 8(in case you bought a PEPE box)?
Have you tried the steps mentioned below by Barbara?
If possible, you can send me the serial number through PRIVATE MESSAGE and I can check it on my end that whether the serial number is indeed invalid or that the issue is with your machine?

Go to Settings > iCloud > Delete Account, and enter your Apple ID password. Then sign in with the new ID.
NOTE: "Delete Account" just means it will be deleted from the iPad. The account itself will not be deleted.

It's not possible to use two passwords with one Apple ID.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
