Any documentation to explain what UNKNOWN_L2_ON_L3_DISCARD and L3_NOT_MYMAC mean?

I'm trying to find the source of some drops, but I can't find any documentation on what these mean from the output of show drops:
UNKNOWN_L2_ON_L3_DISCARD: Does this mean that it saw a tagged come in on the interface when the interface is not configured as a trunk?
L3_NOT_MYMAC: Does this mean that the packet which arrived on the interface had the incoming interface's IP as the destination IP, but not the incoming interface's MAC as the destination MAC?
The interface reporting these errors is connected to a public Internet Exchange, so it's possible that these errors are caused by the IX being laxed about what type of traffic is allowed to hit the switch fabric.

the article that explains the np drop counters should be back online shortly. due to an unfortunate mishap it was taken offline.
also the show controller np description will provide similar detail (release dependent).
the unknown l2 on l3 discard is somewhat nasty and besdies the one that rivalino highlighted there are a couple of tother cases.
you can always capture the packets with the procedure to capture drop packets by setting a trap on that counter to see what is going on. generally it comes down to some interpretation or processing error between L2 and L3 domains. (like BD's, BVI's, routing and switching in the same feature path).

Hello Rasheed,
Below mentioned are the few important things related to pricing.
- You first define Condition Tables .
- Define Access Sequence and assign condition tables to it.
- Define Condition Type and assign Access Sequence to it.
- Now define Pricing Procedure and assign Condition Type to it.
- Now you define Pricing Procedure Determination using Sales Org, Distribution Channel ,Division,Document Pricing Procedure and Customer Pricing Procedure which are the key fields.
The above steps can be done in SPRO.
-Now maintain the Condition Records(for eg:For the specific material what is the cost or for a specific customer what is the cost of the specific material etc) using Txn:VK11.
- Once you maintain the Condition Records , you can reflect the same values in Condition Type in SPRO.

Try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If still no luck try downloading and installing a free app from the app store. This has resolved the issue for many users.

Hmm.. not that I've seen.
Basically there is the long form and the short form.
7.1(3) = 7.1.3.10000-11
Usually the 7.1(3) maps to the first three . separated digits, and then the initial version would have a number like 10000 followed by a build number or something... 3a would have 20000, 3b 30000.
7.1(3a) = 7.1.3.20000-2
7.1(3b) = 7.1.3.30000-1
Of course, anything after the 7.1.3 bit in these numbers is liable to pretty random (in initial 'a/b' releases and especially on anything in between such as service updates), so you can look up the version numbers in a couple of places:

I was moving things around on my desktop and folders and now my applications folder is empty. All programs are still working, but I can't see any of them. What happened and how do I fix it? I'd greatly appreciate the help!

Click the Spotlight magnifying glass icon top right in your screen then type in the name of an application.
Hopefully it will show where it is.

You may have more then one catalog. And you opened the old one by accidente. To switch back to your cuurent one close lightroom and click again the Lr icon to open it before lr lunch click Ctrl+Alt it will open a dialog box from there you can choose which catalog you want to work with.
NB : you can not open two catalogs in same time.

Upgraded to iWeb '08--what does this symbol mean?

I understand the blue arrow "link" symbol, but when I upgraded, some of my items turned into a yellow "bust" symbol and I can't find any documentation that explains the meaning of this or how it got there.

You can control it by choosing a different font. Sometimes a font that is recognized as a regular font can be changed because you added a shadow if you remove the shadow it will work without changing to an image. You can also remap what fonts are changed and which are not. There is an article on this on the 11mystics site. quite informative.

I remembered the answers to my questions, I just forgot "EXACTLY" how I entered the text - so I had to have them reset. The easiest way is to sign in through www.appleid.com. Then on the right click the "Manage your Account" link and sign in. Easy so far right. Then, as others have said, look on the left of the screen you will see a link called "Password and Security" - click on this. Now this is where the confusion begins. Some people have a link located directly under the existing questions that looks like this "Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to blah blah blah email . If you see this click it and it will send an email to the "Rescue Email" address that you entered when you originally entered your answers. Follow the instructions contained in this email and you are done. If you cannot remember this email address or you have since closed it, you will need to go to the Itunes Express lane and send an email to Apple requesting them to reset your answers.
HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT SEE A THIS LINK UNDER THE QUESTIONS - this means that you DID NOT enter a Rescue email address when you originally set your questions. The only way you can now reset your Security Questions and Answers is to go to the Itunes Express lane and email Apple asking to have these reset. I have 2 apple accounts, one for myself and one for my daughter - as I did not include a rescue email I had to email apple. On both occasions, these questions were reset and an email sent to me exactly 24 hours after I sent them the request. I entered the new details, WROTE THEM DOWN EXACTLY AS I ENTERED THEM THIS TIME, entered a Rescue Email this time and I am good to go again. Simple. Now when I log in and click on "Password and Security" I do have the reset link visable. Apple support are good, they just take a bit of time to get things done, but they always seem to get there in the end. I just wish someone had taken the time to explain this somewhere else in the forum as it would have saved me much time and angst.
To get to the Itunes Express Lane go to this website www.appleid.com make sure the correct country is displayed top right, if not change it. Once this is saved go to the tabs at the top of the screen and click Support. Then halfway down the next page you will see a photo of two random people with a title of Contact Apple Support - Click this. Scroll down until you see the itunes logo, to the right of this you will see the link Express Lane for iTunes Player and iTunes Store - click on this. One the right hand side of the next page click on the link "itunes Store". On the next page click the link "Account Management" check the radio button beside "itunes store account security", select your country from the drop down box and click "Continue". Under the heading MORE OPTIONS, you will see a clickable link called email - click this. Fill in your name, Apple ID and country. Then in the text box, write "I have forgotten the answers to my Security questions, would you kindly please reset them. Thank-You". Then Click Continue, you will be given a reference number and an email is sent to your address advising that generally someone will attend to your request within 24 hours. Like I said previously, I had to do this twice and both times it was reset however it was done within about 5 minutes of the 24 hour cut off, so you will have to be patient. I know 100% that this works for Australia - I am guessing other countries should be similar. Hope this helps someone somewhere!

Standard troubleshooting...
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
3. Remove apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Swipe up on the app preview card
- Press the home button when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

How exactly it picks up a specific data value during Hourly aggregations and Daily aggregations?As in How the value is chosen. Does it say averages out or simply picks value at the start of the hour/day or end of the hour/day ??

Views in the operations console are derived from data in the operational database. This is always raw data, and typically does not go back more than 7 days.
Reports get data from the data warehouse. Unless you create a custom report that uses raw data, you will never see raw data in a report - Microsoft and probably all 3rd party vendors do not develop reports that fetch raw data.
Reports use aggregated data - hourly and daily. The data is aggregated by min, max, and avg sample for that particular aggregation. If it's hourly data, then you will see the min, max, and avg for that entire hour. Same goes for daily - you will see the
min, max, and avg data sample for that entire day.
And to try clarifying even more, the values you see plotted on the report are avg samples. If you drill into the performance detail report, then you can see the min, max, and avg samples, as well as standard deviation (which is calculated based on these
three values).
