Any limit for the size of output file when schduled?

I have a report output file around 10 MB size .I am not able to send it via scheduler as email attachment.
Is there any size limitation?If so..where can I change it.

BI Publisher sends the document via the mail server you should have configured with BIP.
So it depends actually on your email server.
BIP scheduler simply kicks off the job and the delivery engine sends it through the delivery
channel you have configured with this report. In case of email then it will send it using the
email server you must have configured.
In summary BIP does no handle document sizes at all it is up to your email server

    The number must be stored in some internal structure
    like an array. And there's a limit on the size of an
    array, because the maximum index you can use is
    Integer.MAX_INT. So it follows that there must be a
    maximum BigInteger value too.Why can't it be split into 2 arrays when it overflows the first? I don't know the actual implementation, but it could be of relatively unlimited size.

  • Any limit on the size of SATA disks used with X2100's (not M2's)?

    We've got an x2100 coming in (not an M2), and I need to outfit it with a couple of drives. The newer "green" Western Digital 1TB drives @ $130 a piece look pretty appealing. Is there any reason why drives that large wouldn't work in the x2100?

    The size shouldn't matter at all. That is an OS/driver support issue. But be sure to check the connector on the back, as it has to match to the backplane connector in the x2100. Also note that there is a SUN advisory for the backplane... it should be replaced under warranty as there is a tendency to lose connectivity with the old backplane under severe loads. The new backplane solves this issue.

    Thanks,
    CalvinThe LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n initialization parameter defines up to ten (where n = 1, 2, 3, ... 10) destinations, each of which must specify either the LOCATION or the SERVICE attribute to specify where to archive the redo data. All other attributes are optional. Note that whether you are specifying the LOCATION attribute or the SERVICE attribute, it must be the first attribute supplied in the list of attributes.

  • Specifying the size of a file when creating a new file

    How do I go about doing this? I specifically need to create different file sizes (2mb's all the way up to 10mb). I was poking around through the File class and there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. There is a way to get the size of it in bytes, but no way to create an empty file straight off the bat with the file size specified. Does anyone know how to do this?
    Thanks.

    the reason I want to do this is because I need to pass certain file sizes over a network and see if the system can handle the sizes of the file under load. the files dont necessarily have to be empty, they can be filled with a bunch of jibberish, but I figured it would be easier to be able to just specify the size of the file rather than have a loop that loops and places over 2 million characters into a file. because a 2mb file is going to be the smaller of the files that needs passed through and that will take too long to create.
    and thanks for the link to randomaccessfile. im probably going to use that, just specify the file size and be done with it. unless theres a better way to do it, but i cant find anything.

    I wrote an applet to play,loop and stop au files but I couldn't get the sound out of it,it was working fine with a 64 kbyte au file but once I use a 900 kbyte file,it does not work.I was wondering whether is there a limit for the size of the audio file?Thanks

  • Any workarounds for the 2880 pixel size limit?

    I have a client that would like a Flash animation that's 5440
    pixels wide, to span 3 widescreen monitors for a tradeshow
    presentation. Flash won't let me make the stage any bigger than
    2880 - does anyone know any ways around that limit?
    I Googled it and found out that you used to be able to scale
    the SWF beyond 2880 in an HTML file, and it would show well using
    Flash Player 7, but apparently that trick no longer works in
    Players 8+.
    Any other ways to make a single SWF that can span 3 large
    monitors?
    Thanks in advance,
    - Frank

    The problem here is the legacy flash document size constraint of 2880 x 2880 pixels. Why is this limitation still in place? Most screen have landscape orientation and we have this square constraint that turns out to be a waste if you are developing for larger screen displays and anything that is 4:3 or 16:9. Something does not add up here. What if someone needs to make a dual wide screen HD show that measured 3840 x 1080 pixels? We can do setup documents at 3840 x 1080 pixels in PowerPoint, PDF, Silverlight (at least this is what I have read regarding Silverlight), but not in Flash. Why not?
    If Flash is a platform… then it needs to spread its wings a bit and embrace all the potential uses that are non-web. Flash represents multimedia delivery to millions, but shackling it to the 2880 x 2880 pixel limitation for a document size is problem for many people now and looming for those working toward have the flash engine as a core component in media delivery. At least give us a dual Wide screen monitor resolution of 3840 x 1080 pixels instead of a square of 2880 x 2880 pixels – which no one really uses (at least I have not seen any sqaure screens lately). Hey, if Adobe decided to shave off on the unused pixels from the 2880 height (2880 – 1080 = 1800) of the format you get an additional 1800 pixels that could applied where it is needed – to the width of the document size… giving us a 4680 x 1080 pixel document. This could then be used for immersive simulation, game situations, and real-world wide-screen experiences.
    Sorry I don't have an answer, just the same question. "Any workarounds for the 2880 pixel size limit?"

    I have updated my iphone 5 with IOS7. Now there is an update 7.0.2 on my cell and the size of update file is showing around 21.0 MB. I tried to update it ITunes but it seems it is downloading the entire IOS. Is there any separate update for the same or I have to download the entire IOS again?

    Well when you download the update with iTunes it will always download the whole new version (in your case 7.0.2) even if its just an bug fix. If you already have 7.0 download the update over-the-air.
    You already wrote that the update is only 21 MB, so its not the whole firmware package of 7.0.2 you get with iTunes.

  • Limit on the size of the flat file in SAP Application Server

    Hi Gurus,
    My requirement is to upload the account payable data to the SAP Application Server.
    The requirement say's like if the size of the file exceeds the limit(is there any limit on file size in SAP?) of SAP then I should upload another file with the remaining records.
    Is there any limit on the file size uploaded into SAP Application Server?If there is limit on file size then what is the value of the limit?
    I guess the file size will depend on the basis configuration and the free size of the Application Server Folder.
    How to check free space in the Application Server folder and proceed further for placing the file in that folder?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kiran Kumar K

    The limitation (if any) will be on the OS level. Nothing to do with SAP as such. Asking your basis team to provide you with an area with plenty of room will be the easiest option. How big are your files - most OSs can handle files of many GB. Sounds to me like the "requirement" has been written by someone without technical knowledge...

  • HT3669 I only have a HP printer and why I need to install a file for all the HP printers drivers 590MB??? if normally the size of my file should be 5MB.  some one could me help to avoid installation of 590MB for my new mountain lion software???

    Hi guys..!!
    I would like to know if someone could help on this:
    I just have a HP printer (HP Designjet 100) and for some reason I need to install a file for all the HP printers drivers in total 590MB to be able to use my printer in my mountain lion???
    If normally the size of my files in the for previous software was more or less 5MB why now i need to install 590?
    Some one could help me how to avoid installation of 590MB for my new mountain lion software???
    Thanks

    If you go to http://support.apple.com/downloads and locate the HP Printer Drivers installer, you will find that it is 473.4 MB (for version 2.11). If you install this, it will install the full set of drivers for every model of HP printer that is supported by the drivers distributed through Apple. The disk space occupied once installed will probably be larger than the download, since the downloaded file is compressed.
    On the other hand, if you have an HP printer connected and you use Software Update (or the Update tab in App Store), that should offer you a much smaller set of HP drivers, which are only applicable to your printer (and possibly a few similar ones). These updates are typically only tens of megabytes rather than hundreds of megabytes.
    If Software Update doesn't offer you any HP drivers then it either thinks you have the latest drivers installed already, or the printer model is not supported by the drivers available from Apple.
    This article lists all of the printer models for which Apple distributes the driver:

  • Is there a limit on the size of the input for the Solve Linear Equations block?

    Hello,
    I'm trying to figure out why the Solve Linear Equations block will properly function with some sets of data and why it won't with others. What my program is doing is taking a signal and comparing it with a batch of sine and cosine waves to try and pick out patterns in the data. I have different sample sizes and it seems to work when I throw 3900 points at it. However, I have another set with 4550 points and it gives me incorrect amplitudes for my sinusoids.  Is there some limit to the size of the matrices that I can give this block? Or is there some other workaround that still allows me to keep all of my data?
    Thanks,
    David Joseph

    Well, the best way to show what I expect is to see the entire program. It's pretty evident that when looking at the graphs, something isn't right. What is supposed to happen is that the runout amplitudes are found, and then those sinusoids are subtracted from the initial data, leaving tooth to tooth data and noise. When I use the larger arrays, it seems as though not all of the data gets through (count the peaks on the product gear runout graph vs. initial) and the amplitudes are much to small, such that nothing is really taken out and the tooth to tooth data looks like the initial data.
    Also, we will also be using an FFT, but it will be limited to only determining the frequencies we should check. I've fought with the fft blocks quite a bit and I just prefer to not use them. Plus, the guy I'm writing this for wants exact answers and does not want to pad or resample the data or use windows.
    The exact number of data points isn't important (ie. 4550 vs 4551) since I use the array size block to index the for loop.
    As for typical values, they can change a lot based on materials. But, the original 3900 data point sets and the 4550 data point sets used practically identical gears. So, use the original 3900 sets I've included as references (check the RO array block numbers to compare).
    I've included 3 3900 samples, 3 4550 samples, and 3 4550 samples that have been truncated to 3900 or so as constants on the block diagram.
    Also, the check for additional runouts (like 3 per rev, 4 per rev, etc..) is optional, but if you choose to use it, use positive integers only.
    I don't know how much of this program will make sense and I have wires running everywhere.. so good luck. Keep in mind I'm only a student and I hadn't touched Labview until about 2 or 3 months ago.
    Thanks,
    David Joseph

  • Is there a limit to the size of a formatted xlsx spreadsheet created by ColdFusion?

    I'm using cfscript to create a (fairly) large xlsx spreadsheet.  As I was developing the script and the spreadsheet grew in size, I started getting the following error when attempting to open the spreadsheet:
    I narrowed down the problem to my use of the functions used to format cells (specifically, SpreadSheetFormatCell and SpreadSheetFormatCellRange).  I found that by commenting out some of those function calls, the error would disappear.
    After much trial and error, I've now come to believe that the issue isn't incorrect usage of the formatting functions, but rather some sort of internal limit I'm running into.  I threw together a simple test case to show this.  The following code (named "bigSheetTest.cfm" on my system) can be used to show the problem (at least on my machine):
    <cfscript>
    maxrows = 725;
    formatBoldCenter = StructNew();
    formatBoldCenter.bold = "true";
    formatBoldCenter.alignment = "center";
    formatBoldUnderlineCenter = StructNew();
    formatBoldUnderlineCenter.bold = "true";
    formatBoldUnderlineCenter.bottomborder = "medium";
    formatBoldUnderlineCenter.alignment = "center";
    formatNumber = StructNew();
    formatNumber.dataformat = "##,####0.00";
    formatMoney = StructNew();
    formatMoney.dataformat = "$##,####0.00";
    xls = SpreadSheetNew("Big Sheet", true);
    row = 1;
    bps = 30;
    for(bp=1;bp LE bps;bp++) {
              col = 3*bp - 2;
              SpreadSheetMergeCells(xls, row, row, col, col+2);
              SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, "Reporting Period #bp#", row, col);
              SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, "Current RG", row+1, col);
              SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, "Hours", row+2, col);
              SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, "Current OT", row+1, col+1);
              SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, "Hours", row+2, col+1);
              SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, "Current", row+1, col+2);
              SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, "Cost", row+2, col+2);
    lastCol = bps * 3;
    row++;
    SpreadSheetFormatCellRange(xls, formatBoldCenter, row, 1, row, lastCol);
    row++;
    SpreadSheetFormatCellRange(xls, formatBoldUnderlineCenter, row, 1, row, lastCol);
    row++;
    for(i=1;i LE maxrows;i++) { // 724 ok, 725 results in Excel error "Excel found unreadable content in 'bigSheetTest.xlsx'.  Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook?  If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."
              for(bp=1;bp LE bps;bp++) {
                        col = 3*bp - 2;
                        SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, i*col/(i+3), row, col);
                        SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, i*col/(i+4), row, col + 1);
                        SpreadSheetSetCellValue(xls, i*col/(i+5), row, col + 2);
                        SpreadSheetFormatCellRange(xls, formatNumber, row, col, row, col + 1);
                        SpreadSheetFormatCell(xls, formatMoney, row, col + 2);
              row++;
    SpreadSheetWrite(xls, "C:\bigSheetTest.xlsx", true);
    </cfscript>
    Notice the "maxrows" variable at the top of the code.  When set to 724 (on my machine) the resulting spreadsheet may be opened without error.  However, if I change that variable to 725, Excel complains with the error "Excel found unreadable content in 'bigSheetTest.xlsx'.  Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook?" when I try top open the spreadsheet.  Any ideas on what causes this issue and how to avoid it?
    If you are not able to recreate this problem with maxrows set to 725, try increasing the value until you get the problem.

    Well, I checked my code and I'm at a loss.  My code uses SpreadSheetFormatCellRange to format the values in columns 1 and 2, 4 and 5, etc. using the "formatNumber" format structure:
    SpreadSheetFormatCellRange(xls, formatNumber, row, col, row, col + 1);
    I'd expect (at worst) that a single style would be defined and then applied to columns 1 and 2, or (at best) a single style would be defined for all cells that use the "formatNumber" format.  However, check out the XML for row 4 of my output spreadsheet:

    As you can see, separate styles are being created and assigned to EVERY CELL in my sheet, even those cells formatted using SpreadSheetFormatCellRange.  I'm fairly confident now that I'm hitting the Excel limit for the number of styles.  How can I define a style up front and then apply it?  I really only have four styles, but the code is generating over 64,000!

  • Is there any limit for DAQ_Start()'s count parameter?

    Is there any limit for DAQ_Start()'s count (the fifth) parameter? It seems that the limit is between 16 million and 18 million. I use PCI-MIO-16E-1 and LabWindows/CVI.

    Hello,
    This depends on whether you are performing a single-buffered or double-buffered acquisition.
    In a single-buffered acquisition, the "count" corresponds to the number of samples the DAQ device acquires and is an unsigned 32-bit value. The largest number that this number can represent is (2^32)-1.
    In a double-buffered acquisition, the "count" corresponds to the size (in number of samples) of buffer that fills up in a circular fashion. It must be an even number. The range of this value depends on the DAQ device you are using and can be referenced by the chart located in the NI-DAQ Function Reference Help file. To access this file, go to your desktop and click [Start]>>[Programs]>>[National Instruments]>>[NI-DAQ]>>[Traditional NI-DAQ Function Reference
    Help]. Then, search for "DAQ_Start" without the quotations.
    I hope this helps clear up any confusion. Please let me know if you need any further assistance. Have a great day!
    Regards,
    Joe Des Rosier
