Any way to do UNION ALL on Azure?

Hi! I have 2 Azure databases on the same server with the same structure, just different data, and I'd like to create a view that combines them, but I get a "not supported on this version of SQL" error when I try a UNION ALL like this:
SELECT [DepositID]
,[OrderTicket]
,[DepositTime]
,[OrderTypeNumber]
,[OrderProfit]
,[OrderComment]
,[DateKey]
,[IsFee]
FROM [Fiber_1].[dbo].[Deposits]
UNION ALL
SELECT [DepositID]
,[OrderTicket]
,[DepositTime]
,[OrderTypeNumber]
,[OrderProfit]
,[OrderComment]
,[DateKey]
,[IsFee]
FROM [Greenzone_1].[dbo].[Deposits]
Is there some other way to do this?
Re
Dennis

In Azure SQL server, distributed query across multiple database are not supported. You need to run these queries independently on the databases separately and combine the results in your application.

  • HT1202 My iPod is set to manually manage music. I have tons of different music from different computers on my iPod. Unfortunately my iPod is getting old and I'd like to purchase a new one. Is there any way I can transfer all the music to a new iPod?

My Ipod touch is set to manually manage music. I have put music from my computer and iTunes account onto it, and music from other people's computer and iTunes accounts on it. Unfortunately I dropped my iPod and the screen cracked. It still plays music and everything just fine, but it has problems with it's battery life so I'd like to just get a completely new iPod nano. Is there any way I can transfer all the music from my iPod touch onto a new iPod nano? From what I can tell it won't let me sync any of the music on my iPod touch that is from other people's computers onto my laptop, and so I wouldn't be able to put it on a new iPod nano. Hopefully that makes sense. I'd just really really like to be able to keep all that music and not lose 2/3 of my iPod touch music library because I want to put it on a newer Ipod.

Use iTunes to backup files from your old ipod first then transfer to the new iPod. Please
follow the steps in How to transfer your backup from one iOS device to a new device.   By the way, if you don't have the iTunes, you can use this iPhone transfer program. It help you to transfer sms and contacts from iPhone.

(Version 6.1.6, Model number: MC547LL/A) Is there any way I can put all the music on my iTouch back onto my MacBook? I hate that I could lose my entire music library by dropping my iTouch in the toilet.
I've tried to plug in my iTouch into my MacBook, but I can't seem to give the music-transfusion without subscribing to iTunes Match or just completely wiping my iTouch.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss.  To use a device with a different setup you transfer the old library from a computer or a backup directly to the new setup, not the device to the library. Media syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software.  See this document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

To see if there are any backups of your device on the computer, go to iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices.
Moving the mouse over the listed backups will tell you to which device they belong.
If there is no backup of your phone listed, your data is gone.
In case you also used iCloud to back up your data, check this article:

I synced my sisters phone with my itunes and now all her contacts have disappeared and been replaced with mine and also photos... she has never done a back-up is there any way we can get all her contacts and pictures back?

Look under iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is there a backup listed for her phone? First thing done when you sync is an iPhone backup. If you have not synced since screwing her phone up, restoring from that backup(if it exists) should restore her content. Do not sync after you restore her phone, eject it. So, first disable auto-sync on that same device pane in iTunes before you proceed. If this doesn't work, is your sister bigger than you? If so, run 'cause her data is gone .

  • Any way to clean up all the monitor activities ?

Login in APEX Admin, under Monitor Activity page, I can view all kinds of report and activity. Those pages have a link that I can download those reports to CVS file. So I can archive those activities in flat file rather than storing in the database.
Okay...my question is: Is there any way to purge ALL the activity log ? I want to free some tablespace space since Oracle XE has limitation on the tablespace size.

    Hello,
The activity reports you are talking about are based on a built-in view called APEX_ACTIVITY_LOG -
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14373_01/appdev.32/e11838/advnc.htm#CHDDHGJI . As far as I know you don’t have any control on how this view is working, and you can’t purge its data from within APEX. However, APEX is doing it for you, periodically, although I don’t know the exact time frame.
    Regards,
    Arie.

  • I have an iphone 3gs.  I have 7 separate email accounts on the phone.  Everytime I update, it reloads all of the emails as new unread emails.  Is there any way to either delete all or alternatively stop it from reloading all prior emails?

I have an iphone 3gs.  I have 7 separate email accounts on the phone.  Everytime I update the phone, it reloads all emails received as new unread emails.  I can click each one, move them to trash and then delete all.  However, I am wondering whether there is any way to either (a) delete all from the inbox or (b) stop them from reloading?
    Thanks

    Hello Kizzyk,
I would start with taking a look at the settings to make sure that you are able to send and receive messages. If everything looks good then the next step would be to remove the accounts and add them back in. Take a look at the article below for more information and details on how to troubleshoot your issue further.

  • IPad 3 with iOS 7: Any way to close/exit all apps with one action?

While there are some things that I like about iOS 7, there is one long term gripe that I have that's been made worse by iOS 7.  I have an iPad 3, and usually close (exit) all the apps that I've used that day at the end of the day, then put the iPad on the charger for the night.  I'm really tired of having to fling all the apps off the screen to close them...being able to do this with 2 or 3 apps at a time is really not helpful, either *smile*.
Is there any way that I can just close all the open apps with one gesture or action?  This would be so nice, flinging apps off the screen is not an improvement for me over the previous method of tapping on X's, what would be an improvement would be to not have to do that to close all the open apps.  Flinging isn't bad for one or two apps, but for 10 or 15, no, I can't say that it isn't really boring and annoying.  Even Android has an option to "close all", good grief.
Thanks for any help with this.

Most apps close automatically when you press the home button and move to the next app. Apps only need swipe closing if they are misbehaving or you purposefully left them open. The most notable exception being the music apps which because of their ability to play in the background always closing. In short if you're worried about saving time by swiping apps there's no need to swipe any.

  • HT1277 Mail, IMAP, Yahoo! Any way not to download all messages?

I love the way my Yahoo Plus mail account syncs with my iPad's Mail program...it all syncs so smoothly.
In trying to set up my Macbook's Mail program to do the same thing, I realized I need to change it to IMAP.  When I did so, it started to download all 15,000 old messages that I have on the Yahoo servers.  Is there any way to only download the newer messages, or do I have to face the music and clean up my Yahoo account?

  • Is there any way to mass-save all of my photos to my PC?

I'm hoping to find some way to get all of my photos on my iPod to my computer, so I can delete them all from my iPod without losing them. I've tried working the iCloud, but I get completely lost whenever I deal with it. Is there any way to do this, or will I have to email the photos to myself one by one?

Are these photos that you have taken with the device or ones that you have synced to the iPod via iTunes?  If it's the former, see this Apple support document for step-by-step instructions on how to import them onto your PC or Mac.
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
Otherwise, if they are synced photos, shouldn't they still be on your PC as that is where they originally came from?  If they are synced photos from your PC and are no longer stored anywhere on your PC's HD then you'll need the assistance of third party software to extract them from your iPod Touch.
Here is one such 3rd solution.  Google "copy photos from iPod" for a more extensive list of options.

  • I have multiple macs in the house is there any way to get them all to sync

Hi, I have 4 macs in my house and I was wandering whether there is a way to get them all to sync for all aspects; settings, software, iTunes. Everything. Does this involve getting a hard drive or server which they all run-off, if so (or even if this is not the case) what solutions are there and how much do they cost?
    Thank you

I use MobileMe to keep contacts, settings, calenders, bookmarks, and keychains in sync and Dropbox to keep my documents folder and 1password in sync.

  • Lost my ipod touch and is there any way i can get all my info deleted from it?

lost my ipod is there any way i can track it down or delete the info thats in it please reply

Only if you installed "Find my iPhone" prior to the loss, you could be able to log into iCloud and track or remotely erase your device. If you did not install and activate your account in iCloud, there is no other way to do that.
