Anyway to eliminate white background tone when using multiply
I'm multiplying 3 different monotone clips on top of each other. The montone was created using BASICS/ COLORIZE and remaping the white to white and the black to a specific RBG. The clips are then placed onto of each other and blended using COMPOSITING / MULTIPLY. The issue I'm having is that tone in highlights is creates frame edges to appear. Is there anyway to completely remove the white background and multiply the images so that the background edges don't show? I could increase the contrast but this takes away tone from the faces. See the attached clip reference.
How about using a Keyer effect to key out the white background in each image? You could then add a white background or just set it in the preferences.

Excessive background noise when using Wired Headset with iPhone5
Hello,
I use my wired headset all the time on my iPhone 5 64gb. Driving working you name it. I get complaints over and over again that my background noise is very often louder than I am. A friend of mine experiences the same issues. So I know its not just me. I have already gone to the Apple Store and had the phone replaced but I still get complaints. I just called Apple and they said they have never heard of the issue. It's my biggest complaint about the iPhone 5 mainly because its how I use it most of the time.
Anyone else having this problem? If so, lets make sure Apple is aware of it so it can be fixed.yes, my iPhone 5, when used with a corded headset, picks up and amplifies background noise to earsplitting levels. Same for the 2 other people I know with iPhone 5s. It makes using a corded headset all but impossible in most situations, unless I am in a quiet environment in which I am not doing anything.

White screen appears when using AS3 wrapper file with Captivate 7

Are you generating a SWF from captivate of a screen capture session, then trying to load that SWF with a wrapper and when you do so it turns white? (In that scenario, if Captivate was looking for external assets it can't find, that'd be why). Please include more details on that.
Second, code of this size pasted into the forum really doesn't help. You'll need to do the work to isolate exactly what part of the code you're seeing this white box appear. Run it in a debugger line by line until you witnesss it turn white and only share that small portion of code. And if you do choose to share a ton of code, please use a site like pastebin.com which will retain formatting and color coding, making it much easier to read, and then share that pastebin link. -
White 2nd screen when using Thunderbolt

I use Thunderbolt together with my macbook air. I use them both at the same time. But when I plug my Macbook Air in to Thunderbolt the Air's screen becomes white. It still functions but there is no background display on the Air even though originally it had the same display as the thunderbolt.
- When Thunderbolt is not plugged in the Air has a normal background display.
any help appreciated,Check the display mode of the item behind the activex control. Try setting that object's mode to opaque and see if the area re-displays correctly. Also check the location where you move the item when you try to move it offscreen. Move it to a place where their's at least one pixel of it left on screen.

Is there anyway to stop the auto-refresh when using HsGetValue?

I am just wondering if there is a way to stop the automatic refresh when opening a workbook that has HsGetValue functions? The issue I am having is that when you create a report in Smart View using the HsGetValue function, save it down, disconnect from Smart View then open it up again, it automatically tries to refresh the data. If you do not type your login, it just changes to #NEED REFRESH and you cant see the data anymore. This only happens when you have Smart View installed, if you are on a vanilla computer you can see the numbers no problems.
The reason we dont want it to refresh is that we want to be able to view data at a point in time, instead of always refreshing to the latest data.
I know that I can stop the refresh by changing Excel to Manual Calculation, instead of auto-calculation on formulas, but this isnt a viable solution as users arent used to manually pressing the Calculate button in Excel for their non Hyperion work.
We are using 11.1.1.3 Planning and Essbase.

Aside from turning auto-calculation off, you would need to copy the cells and paste them as values to get a static worksheet. This will eliminate any future refreshes. -
Noisy background noise when using speaker phone during calls

When I turn off the speaker and switch back to normal call it noise disappeared, the the caller's voice is clear.See if speaker voice enhancement is enabled.

Adhoc conferencing giving busy tone when using non-default region
Hi All,
This strange issue is occuring on call manager 9.1. When the default device pool is used on the phones they are able to adhoc conference each other. When a different device pool is used and a new region is created but has the same settings as the default region it is still giving the busy tone.
Is there a reason why this is happening?Default inter-region Codec unless you changed it is G.729. Software conference bridge in CallManager doesn't support G.729 so a transcoder or hardware conference bridge must be used. Your other option would be to just change the max audio bit rate between the Default region and the new region to 64kbps.

White flash appears when using external images...
I have made this animation which uses 3 external jpgs

as you can see once it has gone round the 3 images there is a flash
of white. I noticed it is actually the very first frame. there is a
delay before loading the pics therefore it flashes (i think).
I have managed to do it with xml ok but i need the mask i
have created as don't want a standard blur transition.

Is there anyway to increase the connection time when using Remote Connections in Photoshop CC
I am using the Adobe Tutorial Player and have a connection estiblished between my iPad and Photoshop CC. The connect drops frequently. Is there a way to incerase the connection time lenght. It would be helpful in working through the tutorial to not loose the connection. I am using Photoshop CC, Windows 8.1 and iOS 7.0.4

Aside from turning auto-calculation off, you would need to copy the cells and paste them as values to get a static worksheet. This will eliminate any future refreshes. -

Loud background noise when using headphones with mic. iPhone 5
I usually use headphones with a microphone to make phone calls, and they used to work perfectly. As soon as I got the iPhone5, I have had trouble. The person I'm talking to can hear every tiny background noise louder than my voice. In fact, they complain that it sounds like glass breaking or the ocean or loud rain. Today, someone about 20 feet away pulled up the window blinds and my caller said it hurt her ears.
I've tried a couple different sets of headphones and have the same problem. Has anyone else experienced this?Yes I have the same problem. I have tried 3 different sets of headphones and have had my iPhone replaced. The problem persisits. I am a Version customer in central Wisconsin.

How can I make the background one solid color? It is too difficult and noticeable when I use the retouch button and try to erase all the creases in my backdrop. So, how can I have just a solid white background?
When talking about a specific image posting the image may be useful.
One can use a Layer Mask and add a white Layer underneath.
