Anyway to turn Now TV off?
Hi All,
Recently new to Youview. Is there anyway I can turn the Now TV selection off under the ondemand and film section of Youview?
I don't subscribe but wanted mainly BT TV items to be displayed instead? Otherwise I have to wade through lots of films I can't get because I don't subscribe.

Doesn't matter how many people ask for it, it won't happen. Companies won't pay the costs of developing a YouView player app and the fees to join the platform only for their content to them be hidden.

There's no on/off switch so your options are either standby from the setting menu or main menu using the remote.
, or pulling the power cord.
The device must be designed to be turned off by pulling the plug as there's no shutdown sequence but like many it doesn't fell ideal doing that.

How do I turn the sound off in iChat (like the swishing noises)
Is there anyway to just disable sound on iChat...its really simple on AIM but I like iChat better...i just dont like any noises from it..like when I'm playing music i dont want the swishing noise...is there anyway to turn all sound off..

iChat > Preferences > Alerts.
You can change / de-select the sounds for all the actions there.

As far as trying to power up your device, make sure it has a good charge and then hold the button on the top of the phone and the home button on the faceplate together until the apple appears on the screen.

I recently upgraded toSnow Leopard, after that I was given a continual message that I had to reinstall my Internet Cleanup. So I did. Then I turned my computer off and now it will not turn on at all. Help!
See if your Mac will boot from the install DVD.
Then uninstall Internet Cleanup.

I was downloading an app and it wasnt downloadnig so i turned my ipod off and now its a just a black screen with the the loading circle. Its been like that for 10 hours. How do i get back to my home screen? or how do i get the litle loading circle to go away.. it wont even load into itunes
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

So sorry to hear about the trouble with Wi-Fi! Let's get that working the way it should. Could you provide us some more details regarding where this breakdown occurs? Are you having trouble with turning Wi-Fi on or connecting to your Wi-Fi? Are other devices connecting to your Wi-Fi without issue?

ipod was disabelled and needed connecting to itunes, with countless attempts nothing happend therefore performed as reset, now instead of turning on and off, ipod displays connect to itunes but is not recognised by computer nor will it connect to itunes, try enabelling for restore but only connec to itunes is shown consistently
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Is there anyway to turn off the Group MMS texting? I want to send a mass text but don't want every person to see every other person's response. I updated my 4s to IOS 8 and now it won't automatically connect with my Ford SYNC. I have to turn the phone off and then on again for it to connect.
Why is this? My husband's 4s is still on IOS7 and it still connects automatically.I do not know if this will help.

I turned my iPhone off because it was being slow. I went to turn it back on and it WON'T turn back on. It will do the loading to turn back on then show me the apple that its back on then the screen turns blue then turns off and goes to the loading page. What should I do? I was trying to fix the internet on my iPhone so I turned it off and back on, then it still wouldn't work so I i turned my iPhone off and now it won't turn back on. Now when it's plugged into the wall or the computer the Apple Logo comes up for about 6 seconds and turns off, then back on for another 6 seconds then turns off again and it just repeats, and it really frustrates me. What can I do to fix it?
I had a similar issue with my phone.....it just shut off and wouldn't come back on even thought it was charged. My daughter toggled the mute switch several times and then she pressed and held down the home and lock buttons. It worked......would be worth a shot.

I turned my iphone off when visiting the doctor's surgery and now it won't turn back on. It had 73% battery left and I have tried connecting it to my computer with USB but nothing happens. I have taken out and replaced the sim card too. Any suggestions
If wjosten's tip doesn't work try plugging it into a USB charger (not through your computer), wait about 30 seconds and it should come on. If it doesn't remove the cord from the phone and keep trying this. I've had this same issue and found a combination of the reset & charging cable tends to work. Sometimes it takes about 5 minutes for the phone to respond.
