AP Extreme only allowing internet access to one computer at a time

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I can't find a post on point. Have a brand new AP Extreme, with DSL to AP, then wireless to MBP and hard wired to 2 PC's running XP. Finally got it all running together, but the AP Extreme isn't allowing the various computers to share the internet connection. When one computer tries to access internet via mail or browser, receive msg "Internet cnnection currently in use by xxx.xx.x.xx (IP number for one of net computers). Enter DSL login password to switch the internet connection to this computer."
So, now what? How do I configure this network to share the internet connection among the 3 computers? AP is set up as bridge only.

Sorry for the delay, but I wasn't able to access the forums. I finally hooked up the old wired router and PC.
If I configure the AEBS to PPPoE (which is what earthlink wants), I get an error message "Looking for PPPoE server". The network status shows "connected to Internet". Could this be a mistake in the MBP settings or the AEBS settings?
If I revert to using DHCP, then I continue to get the Double NAT error (at least it's reproduceable). I can connect in a limited fashion this way, but some pages (Apple.com prominently) won't load, and my email is very limited.
I see that a number of others are having the same issue with Earthlink. I have several docs from both Earthlink and Apple that purportedly solve the problem...except they don't for me.
So, two questions: in your original post, you suggested that I place my modem in "bridge" mode. How would I do this? I can use either the MBP, wired or wireless, or the PC wired. Once I accomplish that, would that allow me to reconfigure the AEBS back to PPPoE mode sucessfully?
2nd query: do you know a way to configure the MBP to connect with an earthlink ADSL modem using PPPoE. Switching back and forth (wired router to AEBS) it is evident that my problem is the AEBS is not configured correctly with my MBP and Earthlink.
I've been back and forth a dozen times, in every conceivable combination...MBP wired directly to modem, everything hard wired to Linksys router, AEBS & PC's hard wired to Linksys...this is making me crazy.

Found iCal events in Time Machine. Now Lion only allowing me to import one event at a time.

Upgrade my macbook pro over the weekend to Snow Leopard and then Lion.   I lost all my the majority of my iCal events.   Went to Apple store and they said that was rare and not sure how to restore my last back up from Time Machine on an external drive.   I've been spending hours trying to go through a bunch of threads on different MAC formums.
So I finally found my iCal events in Time Machine.   When I try to import these events, I am only allowed to highlight/import one event at a time.   This will take me forever to import years of missing data.   I basically have been using my iCal to journal for my 3 small daughters - first tooth, hair cut, etc.   So I am desperate to get these events back so I can get them printed and SAFE.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to import my ics files?   The Apple Store Genius had me tryng to import the corestorage.ics files.   2 or 3 of those files showed they were trying to be imported for over 4 hours.   I finally Forced Quit iCal.   I've tried this several times and same result.
The corestorage files were under user/library/application support/ical/sources
I now located the calendar events user/library/calendars/ then a bunch of coded files leading to the events. These events appear to be the ones I am looking for as I can read some of the files.   I have several years I want to import back into my working iCal.
Please help if you know how!!!

I did exactly what you said (CAN"T believe an Apple Genius did not know this) and I think all of my events got restored.
However, it duplicated all of the calendars - I have 6 (one for each family member plus an extra called home that we all have to do).   Not sure if I did something wrong, but do you have any ideas?
Also, the time setting must be wrong b/c I have events from 2008 showing up in 2012 - same day and time as the old sessoin - just out dated.    Do I need to manually change all of this?   Should I delete the Calendars folder again and try again?
Also, I read some where about deleting a iCal cache file.   Do I need to do this?
I TRULY appreciate you taking the time to help people in this forum.   I have spent hours the past two days trying to figure this out.   Plus, now I need to figure out about upgrading my Office for Mac b/c I didn't realize I lost Office 2004 when upgrading to Lion.

Open a message-editing window and select
View ▹ Customize Toolbar...
from the menu bar. From the sheet that opens, drag the button labeled Address upward (not downward) into the toolbar if it's not already there, then click Done.

How do I attach a folder that contains multiple documents? I try and it will only allow me to pick one document at a time.

I'm trying to upload to my school's online blackboard (which is where I submit papers) and I cannot seem to figure out how to upload a folder I made on my desktop. I created multple folders containing more than one document and thought this would be easier then each individual document. But I cannot attach the whole folder. I have to pick each document which I could have done in the beginning!! Any thoughts? I tried to hit shift and then control to highlight all of them but that did not work. Any advice welcome:)

How to only allow internet access.

I've got an ASA with two "outside" interfaces and twelve "inside" interfaces.
I'd like to separate the Access Lists between outside access and inside access. By default I'd like the inside interfaces access to the internet and nothing else and then build the ACL's to allow access between inside interfaces.
I can't imagine this being very difficult to achieve but I've spent quite sometime trying to accomplish this but haven't been able to make it work how I would like.
Does anyone have any tips?

How I normally handle this is to build a network object group and place the RFC 1918 networks (10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16) in it and then do a deny to these networks with an allow IP any/any to the outside (internet).

Can only connect to Internet from one computer at a time on network

I have a 2 computer network in my office networked with an Asante 10/100 hub. The computers are a iMac 24 (Intel) and an old G4 (PCI). The network has worked fine until just recently. Now, I can only connect to the Internet with one computer at a time...(DSL connection). I checked cables, ports, etc, and I'm wondering if this is a 10.4.9 issue. Coincidentally, I noticed that I am not able to access the Internet via Win XP using Parallels which also worked fine up until recently. I checked with the ISP (AT&T) who confirmed that all is OK on their end. Anyone have similar problem? Could OS X 10.4.9 be the culprit? Any help on this will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I'd consider that a 3 computer network, Parallels being a virtual machine would alias the ethernet interface and need its own IP address. That may or may not have anything to do with your problem. Actually, the way you've described things, it sounds like a lot has to do with your contract with ATT. Is there a routing device at your end?
The only way 10.4.9 could be the culprit would be if it were the routing device.

When you see an exclamation point in the Wi-Fi menu, from the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network
Click the Assist me button and select Assistant. Follow the prompts. You may get a warning that Wi-Fi is not available, that you're too far from the base station, or that you're using the wrong password.
Assuming that you've ruled out those possibilities, restart the computer and try again. If there's no change, click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the preference pane and authenticate, if necessary. From the Location menu at the top of the window, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Applyand test.
If there's still no connection, and if you have control of the router, compare its settings to Apple's recommendations. Some third-party routers may be incompatible in 802.11b/g/n radio mode. Try setting the mode to 802.11n only.

Unable to check mark whole playlists to play since last update. ONly allows me to check one at a time. How do I fix?

While in MY MUSIC on itunes, all my music is unchecked. I can not check whole playlists by using the top checkmark to select all. I went to all my playlists, same thing. I can only press them ONE at a time, which will take about a day to check all of them.

The computer that I had my iphone apps synced to has died and I don't know how to get access to my apps on the new computer. I'm using a Windows pc. I understand that I can only have my apps synced to one computer at a time, but the former pc is dead.

My HP Touchsmart died the other day. My husband works on computers as a hobby and was able to get me up and running on a Dell laptop in no time. I have an iPhone 4s and had all my apps on itunes on my HP. I understand that you can only have your iPhone apps synced to one computer at a time, but what do you do when the computer containing all your info is in unusable condition? I have tried deauthorizing all the computers associated with my account, that did not work. I had this problem once before and finally ( after much blood sweat and tears ) was able to deauthorize the old computer, but it was in working order. Two of the computers that are listed under the iTunes Wi-Fi Sync setting are no longer in use, the HP had my apps synced to it and the other had everything else except my photos, which are on a third computer that is still in use. Please forgive for information overload but am trying to give all the info that I think could be relevant. Your help would be appreciated so much!

I can only use Flash Player in one tab at a time, only on Firefox.

Recently, when I downloaded the new Flash Player, I can only use flash player in one tab at a time. This is only in firefox. I'll open youtube, and the visual and sound both play perfectly. I open up a new tab, begin using a flash website in that tab, and the youtube sound is quiet, only the visual continues to play. I need to multitask with flash sometimes, and this is a big problem for me. Help!

By default, Flash 11.3 and higher will spin up a lot of distinct processes. You should be able to get quite a cacophony going.
Have you ever done any troubleshooting that involves changing how Firefox works with plugin-container.exe or the Flash player's protected mode?
Often it is helpful to disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash:
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"
(B) In Flash, see this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues
Unrelated, but you can remove the Java Console extensions unless you are a Java developer (and even then, you probably don't need the old ones):

If you see Devices in the big list on the left-hand side of iTunes, it should show the name of your iPhone right below it. You can right-click (or hold ctrl and left click) on the name of the iPhone there, and choose "transfer purchases from iPhone".
If you're on iTunes 11, you won't see the big list of the left until you go to the View menu at the very top (where you see iTunes/File/Edit/View/etc) and choose Show Sidebar. Then do the same thing: right-click or ctrl and left-click on the iPhone's name below Devices and "transfer purchases from iPhone".
It'll ask you to authorize the computer for your Apple ID if you haven't yet; to do that, you just type your Apple ID and password in when it asks. If it says you are not authorized but doesn't automatically give you an option to do so, then you can go to the Store menu at the very top and choose "authorize this computer".
